1Development of Cementitious Materials Utilizing Alkali-activated Yellow River Silt显示文摘The possibility of preparing cementitious materials by the alkali-activated method using Yellow River sediment(The second largest river in China)as raw material and the modification effect on different slag addition were investigated.Sodium silicate and calcium hydroxide were used as the activator,and the specimens were prepared by the press molding method.The hydration process,hydration products,pore characteristics,and mechanical properties were investigated using SEM/EDS,FTIR,TG/DTG,XRD,MIP,and uniaxial compressive strength experiments,respectively.The results showed that the compressive strength of the modified yellow river silt-based cementitious material was significantly increased when the water glass dosage was 12 wt%(Ms=1.8)and the slag dosage was 40%,and its 90-day maximum compressive strength could reach 53 MPa.王宝民 WANG Wanli 梁晓霞 刘慧 HAN Junnan ZHAO Lu YANG Xingxing YAN Jifei 2021Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2021,36,3:5
2An antioxidant system through conjugating superoxide dismutase onto metal-organic framework for cardiac repair显示文摘Acute myocardial infarction(AMI)remains a dominant origin of morbidity,mortality and disability worldwide.Increases in reactive oxygen species(ROS)are key contributor to excessive cardiac injury after AMI.Here we developed an immobilized enzyme with Superoxide Dismutase(SOD)activity cross-link with Zr-based metal-organic framework(ZrMOF)(SOD-ZrMOF)for mitigate ROS-caused injury.In vitro and in vivo evidence indicates that SOD-ZrMOF exhibits excellent biocompatibility.By efficiently scavenging ROS and suppressing oxidative stress,SOD-ZrMOF can protect the function of mitochondria,reduce cell death and alleviate inflammation.More excitingly,long-term study using an animal model of AMI demonstrated that SOD-ZrMOF can reduce the infarct area,protect cardiac function,promote angiogenesis and inhibit pathological myocardial remodeling.Therefore,SOD-ZrMOF holds great potential as an efficacious and safe nanomaterial treatment for AMI.Jiacheng Guo Zhenzhen Yang Yongzheng Lu Chunyan Du Chang Cao Bo Wang Xiaoting Yue Zenglei Zhang Yanyan Xu Zhen Qin Tingting Huang Wei Wang Wei Jiang Jinying Zhang Junnan Tang 2022Bioactive Materials2022,7,4:4
3NaV6O15:A promising cathode material for insertion/extraction of Mg^2+with excellent cycling performance显示文摘The rechargeable magnesium batteries(RMBs)are getting more and more attention because of their high-energy density,high-security and low-cost.Nevertheless,the high charge density of Mg^2+makes the diffusion of Mg2+in the conventional cathodes very slow,resulting in a lack of appropriate electrode materials for RMBs.In this work,we enlarge the layer spacing of V2Os by introducing Na^2+in the crystal structure to promote the diffusion kinetics of Mg^2+.The NaVeO15(NVO)synthesized by a facile method is studied as a cathode material for RMBs with the anhydrous pure Mg^2+electrolyte.As a result,the NVO not only exhibits high discharge capacity(119.2 mAh:g^-1 after 100 cycles at the current density of 20 mA:g^-1)and working voltage(above 1.6 V vs.Mg^2+/Mg),but also expresses good rate capability.Besides,the eX-situ characterizations results reveal that the Mg^2+storage mechanism in NVO is based on the intercalation and deintercalation.The density functional theory(DFT)calculation results further indicate that Mg^2+tends to occupy the semi-occupied sites of Na^+in the NVO.Moreover,the galvanostatic intermittent titration technique(GITT)demonstrates that NVO electrode has the fast diffusion kinetics of Mg^2+during discharge process ranging from 7.55×10^-13 to2.41×10^-11 cm^2·s^-1.Our work proves that the NVO is a potential cathode material for RMBs.Dongzheng Wu Jing Zeng Haiming Hua Junnan Wu Yang Yang Jinbao Zhao 2020Nano Research2020,13,2:2

8Engineering multifunctional bioadhesive powders through dynamic metal-ligand coordination显示文摘Bioadhesive gels with robust adhesion on wet and irregular tissue surfaces are desirable for clinical applications.Assembly of bioadhesive powders is an effective strategy for obtaining gels that adhere to wet and irregular tissue surfaces by absorbing interfacial water.However,current bioadhesive powders lack positive biological functions and are prone to postoperative adhesion.Here,we present a powder strategy based on metal-ligand coordination to create a series of bioadhesive polyacrylic acid(PAA)gels.In the gel network,metal ions(M^(n+))are used to coordinate with the carboxy ligands of PAA to form dynamic noncovalent crosslinks.The powders can absorb interfacial water and assemble into gels on wet and irregular tissue surfaces within a few seconds,forming an initial adhesion layer by electrostatic interactions.Furthermore,the polymers can diffuse into the tissue matrix,and metal-ligand coordination is reconstructed to enhance the adhesion.Moreover,with a cationic shield layer,the bioadhesive powders can effectively avoid postoperative adhesion.Importantly,M^(n+) ions endow the gel with customized biological functions.We demonstrate that the hemostatic,antibacterial,peroxidase-like catalytic,and photodetachment abilities of the gels by incorporating different M^(n+) ions.These advantages make the bioadhesive powder a promising platform for diverse tissue repair applications.Junchang Guo Yue Hou Liansong Ye Junnan Chen Hong Wang Li Yang Jinbo Jiang Qiangqiang Sun Chaoming Xie Bing Hu Jiaxi Cui Xu Deng 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,11:0
9Clinical Study on the Relationship between Fixation of Prosthesis and Health of Surrounding Tissues显示文摘[Objectives] To explore the effect of mouth outside bonding screw fixation and inside bonding fixation in implanting the prosthesis( crown or bridge) on the health of surrounding tissues,to provide a certain reference for the selection of fixation methods for clinically implanting the prosthesis. [Methods]160 cases of patients needing implanting the prosthesis due to dental arch deficiency were selected. They had excellent alveolar bone. They did not smoke,had no diabetes,and their bone tissue healing was at the early stage. They were randomly divided into A and B groups,80 cases in each group. Group A: the mouth inside and abutment of prosthesis was bonded to a single abutment crown or a single abutment bridge; the bonder on the surface of prosthesis was completely removed and then moved into the implant,and fixed with central retaining screw,this group was called ' mouth outside bonding group'. Group B: the abutment was located in the implant and fixed using central retaining screw,then the prosthesis( crown or bridge) was bonded to the abutment,the bonder on the surface of prosthesis was removed,and this group was called mouth ' mouth inside bonding group'. The health condition was compared between two fixing methods for the surrounding tissues of the implant in 24-36 months after restoration. [Results] Group A: the surrounding tissues of the implants for 126 teeth of 80 patients were healthy without occurrence of peripheral inflammation; Group B: in the implants of 112 teeth of 80 patients,7 teeth suffered the peripheral inflammation. Dental implant examination found that there was residue of bonder in the bonding of prosthesis and abutment,3 teeth exfoliated,and 4 teeth were restored after treatment. Through the X2 test,there was significant difference between Group A and Group B( P < 0. 05). [Conclusions] Implant-supported denture often adopts the mouth inside bonding. Since the bonder can not be removed completely,its residue will remain in gingival trough and stimulate the surrounding tissues of the implant and bring about the inflammatory reaction,and even lead to exfoliation of the implant; the mouth inside and abutment of prosthesis was bonded to a single abutment crown or a single abutment bridge,the bonder on the surface of prosthesis was completely removed and then moved into the implant,and fixed with central retaining screw. 10Shunxin decoction(顺心组方) improves diastolic function in rats with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction induced by abdominal aorta constriction through cyclic guanosine monophosphate-dependent protein kinase Signaling Pathway显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine whether Shunxin decoction(顺心组方) improves diastolic function in rats with heart failure with preserved ejection fraction(HFp EF) by regulating the cyclic guanosine monophosphatedependent protein kinase(c GMP-PKG) signaling pathway. METHODS: Except for control group 8 and sham surgery group 8, the remaining 32 male Sprague-Dawlay rats were developed into HFp EF rat models using the abdominal aorta constriction method. These rats in the HFp EF model were randomly divided into the model group, the Shunxin high-dose group, the Shunxin lowdose group, and the Qiliqiangxin capsule group. The three groups received high-dose Shunxin decoction, lowdose Shunxin decoction, and Qiliqiangxin capsule by gavage, respectively, for 14 d. After the intervention, the diastolic function of each rat was evaluated by testing E/A, heart index, hematoxylin-eosin staining, Masson, myocardial ultrastructure, and N-terminal pro-brain natriuretic peptide(NT-pro BNP). The Bioinformatics Analysis Tool for Molecular Mechanism of Traditional Chinese Medicine(BATMAN-TCM) software was used to predict targets for which Shunxin decoction acts on the c GMP-PKG pathway. Natriuretic peptide receptor A(NPRA) and guanylate cyclase(GC) were detected by immunohistochemistry, and e NOS, phosphodiesterase 5A(PDE5A), and c GMP-dependent protein kinase 1(PKG I) were determined by Western blotting. RESULTS: Compared to the model group, the thickness of the interventricular septum at the end of diastole(IVSd) and the thickness of the posterior wall at the end of diastole(PWd) of the Shunxin decoction high-dose group, Shunxin decoction low-dose group, and Qiliqiangxin capsule group were all significantly reduced(P < 0.01). Furthermore, Shunxin decoction high-dose group E/A value was decreased(P < 0.01). Compared to the model group, the expression of NPRA and GC increased in the Shunxin decoction low-dose group and the Qiliqiangxin capsule group(P < 0.01). Compared to the model group, the expressions of e NOS and PKG I increased(P < 0.05) in the Shunxin decoction high-dose group. The expression of PDE5A expression decreased in the myocardium of the Shunxin decoction high-dose group, Shunxin decoction low-dose group, and Qiliqiangxin capsule group compared to the model group(P < 0.01). CONCLUSIONS: Shunxin decoction can improve diastolic function in rats with HFp EF. It increases the expression of NPRA, GC, and e NOS in the myocardial cell c GMP-PKG signaling pathway, upregulates c GMP expression, decreases PDE5A expression to reduce the c GMP degradation. 11Reconstructing cell lineage trees with genomic barcoding:approaches and applications显示文摘In multicellular organisms,developmental history of cell divisions and functional annotation of terminal cells can be organized into a cell lineage tree(CLT).The reconstruction of the CLT has long been a major goal in developmental biology and other related fields.Recent technological advancements,especially those in editable genomic barcodes and single-cell high-throughput sequencing,have sparked a new wave of experimental methods for reconstructing CLTs.Here we review the existing experimental approaches to the reconstruction of CLT,which are broadly categorized as either image-based or DNA barcode-based methods.In addition,we present a summary of the related literature based on the biological insight pro-vided by the obtained CLTs.Moreover,we discuss the challenges that will arise as more and better CLT data become available in the near future.Genomic barcoding-based CLT reconstructions and analyses,due to their wide applicability and high scalability,offer the potential for novel biological discoveries,especially those related to general and systemic properties of the developmental process.Zizhang Li Wenjing Yang Peng Wu Yuyan Shan Xiaoyu Zhang Feng Chen Junnan Yang Jian-Rong Yang 2024Journal of Genetics and Genomics2024,51,1:0
12Lack of evolutionary convergence in multiple primary lung cancer suggests insufficient specificity of personalized therapy显示文摘Multiple primary lung cancer(MPLC)is an increasingly prevalent subtype of lung cancer.According to recent genomic studies,the different lesions of a single MPLC patient exhibit functional similarities that may reflect evolutionary convergence.We perform whole-exome sequencing for a unique cohort of MPLC patients with multiple samples from each lesion found.Using our own and other relevant public data,evolutionary tree reconstruction reveals that cancer driver gene mutations occurred at the early trunk,indicating evolutionary contingency rather than adaptive convergence.Additionally,tumors from the same MPLC patient are as genetically diverse as those from different patients,while within-tumor genetic heterogeneity is significantly lower.Furthermore,the aberrant molecular functions enriched in mutated genes for a sample show a strong overlap with other samples from the same tumor,but not with samples from other tumors or other patients.Overall,there is no evidence of adaptive convergence during the evolution of MPLC.Most importantly,the similar between-tumor diversity and between-patient diversity suggest that personalized therapies may not adequately account for the genetic diversity among different tumors in an MPLC patient.To fully exploit the strategic value of precision medicine,targeted therapies should be designed and delivered on a per-lesion basis.Hua Cheng Ziyan Guo Xiaoyu Zhang Xiao-Jin Wang Zizhang Li Wen-Wen Huo Hong-Cheng Zhong Xiao-Jian Li Xiang-Wen Wu Wen-Hao Li Zhuo-Wen Chen Tian-Chi Wu Xiang-Feng Gan Bei-Long Zhong Vassily ALyubetsky Leonid Yu Rusin Junnan Yang Qiyi Zhao Qing-Dong Cao Jian-Rong Yang 2023Journal of Genetics and Genomics2023,50,5:0

15Hybrid working mechanism enables highly reversible Zn electrodes显示文摘Zn dendrite growth and water-related side reactions have been criticized to hinder actual applications of aqueous Zn-ion batteries.To address these issues,a series of Zn interfacial modifications of building solid/electrolyte interphase(SEI)and nucleation layers have been widely proposed,however,their effectiveness remains debatable.Here,we report a boron nitride(BN)/Nafion layer on the Zn surface to efficiently solve Zn problems through combining the hybrid working mechanisms of SEI and nucleation layers.In our protective layer,Nafion exhibits the SEI mechanism by blocking water from the Zn surface and providing abundant channels for rapid Zn^(2+)þtransmission,whilst BN nanosheets induce Zn deposition underneath with a preferred(002)orientation.Accordingly,dendrite-free and side-reaction-free Zn electrode with(002)deposition under the protective layer is realized for the first time,as reflected by its high reversibility with average Coulombic efficiency of 99.2%for>3000 h.The protected Zn electrode also shows excellent performance in full cells when coupling with polyaniline cathode under the strict condition of lean electrolyte addition.This work highlights insights for designing highly reversible metal electrodes towards practical applications.Libei Yuan Junnan Hao Bernt Johannessen Chao Ye Fuhua Yang Chao Wu Shi-Xue Dou Hua-Kun Liu Shi-Zhang Qiao 2023eScience2023,3,2:0
16OsNPF3.1,a nitrate,abscisic acid and gibberellin transporter gene,is essential for rice tillering and nitrogen utilization efficiency显示文摘Low-affinity nitrate transporter genes have been identified in subfamilies 4-8 of the rice nitrate transporter 1(NRT1)/peptide transporter family(NPF),but the OsNPF3 subfamily responsible for nitrate and phytohormone transport and rice growth and development remains unknown.In this study,we described OsNPF3.1 as an essential nitrate and phytohormone transporter gene for rice tillering and nitrogen utilization efficiency(NUtE).OsNPF3.1 possesses four major haplotypes of its promoter sequence in 517 cultivars,and its expression is positively associated with tiller number.Its expression was higher in the basal part,culm,and leaf blade than in other parts of the plant,and was strongly induced by nitrate,abscisic acid(ABA)and gibberellin 3(GA_3)in the root and shoot of rice.Electrophysiological experiments demonstrated that OsNPF3.1 is a pH-dependent low-affinity nitrate transporter,with rice protoplast uptake assays showing it to be an ABA and GA_3 transporter.OsNPF3.1 overexpression significantly promoted ABA accumulation in the roots and GA accumulation in the basal part of the plant which inhibited axillary bud outgrowth and rice tillering,especially at high nitrate concentrations.The NUtE of OsNPF3.1-overexpressing plants was enhanced under low and medium nitrate concentrations,whereas the NUtE of OsNPF3.1 clustered regularly interspaced short palindromic repeats(CRISPR)plants was increased under high nitrate concentrations.The results indicate that OsNPF3.1 transports nitrate and phytohormones in different rice tissues under different nitrate concentrations.The altered OsNPF3.1 expression improves NUtE in the OsNPF3.1-overexpressing and CRISPR lines at low and high nitrate concentrations,respectively.Junnan Hang Bowen Wu Diyang Qiu Guo Yang Zhongming Fang Mingyong Zhang 2024Journal of Integrative Agriculture2024,23,4:0
