1Research progresses on Cherenkov and transit-time high-power microwave sources at NUDT显示文摘Research progresses on Cherenkov and transit-time high-power microwave(HPM)sources in National University of Defense Technology(NUDT)of China are presented.The research issues are focused on the following aspects.The pulse-shortening phenomenon in O-type Cerenkov HPM devices is suppressed.The compact coaxial relativistic backward-wave oscillators(RBWOs)at low bands are developed.The power efficiency in M-Type HPM tubes without guiding magnetic field increased.The power capacities and power efficiencies in the triaxial klystron amplifier(TKA)and relativistic transit-time oscillator(TTO)at higher frequencies increased.In experiments,some exciting results were obtained.The X-band source generated 2 GW microwave power with a pulse duration of 110 ns in 30 Hz repetition mode.Both L-and P-band compact RBWOs generated over 2 GW microwave power with a power efficiency of over 30%.There is approximately a 75% decline of the volume compared with that of conventional RBWO under the same power capacity conditions.A 1.755 GHz MILO produced 3.1 GW microwave power with power efficiency of 10.4%.A 9.37 GHz TKA produced the 240 MW microwave power with the gain of 34 dB.A 14.3 GHz TTO produced 1 GW microwave power with power efficiency of 20%.Jiande Zhang Xingjun Ge Jun Zhang Juntao He Yuwei Fan Zhiqiang Li Zhenxing Jin Liang Gao Junpu Ling Zumin Qi 2016Matter and Radiation at Extremes2016,1,3:7
2Genomic landscapes of Chinese sporadic autism spectrum disordersrevealed by whole-genome sequencing显示文摘Autism spectrum disorder (ASD) is a neurodevelopmental disorder with considerable clinical and genetic heterogeneity.In this study,we identified all classes of genomic variants from whole-genome sequencing (WGS) dataset of 32 Chinese trios with ASD,including de novo mutations,inherited variants,copy number variants (CNVs) and genomic structural variants.A higher mutation rate (Poisson test,P<2.2×10^(-16)) in exonic (1.37×10^(-8)) and 3'-UTR regions (1.42×10^(-8)) was revealed in comparison with that of whole genome (1.05×10^(-8)).Using an integrated model,we identified 87 potentially risk genes (P<0.01) from 4832 genes harboring various rare deleterious variants,including CHD8 and NRXN2,implying that the disorders may be in favor to multiple-hit.In particular,frequent rare inherited mutations of several microcephaly-associated genes (ASPM,WDR62,and ZNF335)were found in ASD.In chromosomal structure analyses,we found four de novo CNVs and one de novo chromosomal rearrangement event,including a de novo duplication of UBE3A-containing region at 15q11.2-q13.1,which causes Angelman syndrome and microcephaly,and a disrupted TNR due to de novo chromosomal translocation t (1;5) (q25.1;q33.2).Taken together,our results suggest that abnormalities of centrosomal function and chromatin remodeling of the microcephaly-associated genes may be implicated in pathogenesis of ASD.Adoption of WGS as a new yet efficient technique to illustrate the full genetic spectrum in complex disorders,such as ASD,could provide novel insights into pathogenesis,diagnosis and treatment.Jinyu Wu Ping Yu Xin Jin Xiu Xu Jinchen Li Zhongshan Li Mingbang Wang Tao Wang Xueli Wu Yi Jiang Wanshi Cai Junpu Mei Qingjie Min Qiong Xu Bingrui Zhou Hui Guo Ping Wang Wenhao Zhou Zhengmao Hu Yingrui Li Tao Cai Yi Wang Kun Xia Yong-Hui Jiang Zhong Sheng Sun 2018Journal of Genetics and Genomics2018,45,10:3
3Energy measurement system of a large-aperture high power laser experiment platform显示文摘An energy measurement system in a large-aperture high power laser experiment platform is introduced. The entire measurement system includes five calorimeters, which carry out the energy measurement of the fundamental frequency before the frequency conversion unit, remaining fundamental frequency, remaining second-harmonics, third-harmonics,as well as the energy balance measurement after the frequency conversion unit. Combinational indirect calibration and direct calibration are employed to calibrate the sampling coefficients of the calorimeters. The analysis of the data showed that, regarding the energy balance coefficients, combinational calibration approach gives a higher precision, and leads to an energy balance with 1%; and regarding the energy sampling coefficients for the various wavelengths after the frequency conversion, the results from direct and combinational calibration are consistent. 4Genome-wide identification and expression analysis of NIN-like Protein(NLP)genes reveals their potential roles in the response to nitrate signaling in watermelon显示文摘To balance the relationship between high yield and low nitrogen supply,the nitrogen utilization efficiency of watermelon needs to be improved urgently.Nodule inception-like Protein(NLP)transcription factors play a key node role in nitrate response and growth and development of plant,however,comprehensive analysis of the NLP gene family in watermelon is unclear.This study explored the functional classification,evolutionary characteristics,and expression profile of the ClNLP gene family.Three ClNLPs were categorized into three groups according to their gene structure and phylogeny.All of them contained the conserved RWP-RK and PB1 domains.Evolutionary analysis of ClNLPs revealed that ClNLP1 and ClNLP3 underwent strong purified selection.In addition,cis-acting elements related to plant hormones and abiotic stresses were present in the ClNLP promoter.According to tissue-specific analysis ClNLP was widely expressed in roots,stems,leaves,flowers and fruits,and ClNLP1 was significantly induced in the roots of different nitrogen utilization varieties under different nitrate nitrogen supply.The SRTING functional protein association network suggested that ClNLP1 is associated with most genes,such as NRT1.1,NRT2.1,NIA1,and NIR1,and the dual-luciferase reporter assay found that ClNLP1 positively regulates the expression of ClNRT2.1.We speculated that ClNLP1 might play a central role in regulating the response of watermelon to nitrate nitrogen.Gaopeng Yuan Dexi Sun Yifan Wang Guolin An Weihua Li Wenjing Si Junpu Liu Yingchun Zhu 2022Horticultural Plant Journal2022,8,5:2

6Measurement of Raman scattering gain coefficient in large-aperture DKDP crystals irradiated by 351 nm pulses显示文摘Transverse stimulated Raman scattering (TSRS) gain coefficient in a large aperture 65% deu terated potassium dihydrogen phosphate (DKDP) is measured at 351 nm. The measurement involves the use of an optical fiber sensor system to detect Raman scattering light in the DKDP crystal. A Raman scattering gain coefficient of 0. 109 cm/GW is obtained and will be used to set upper limit of the DKDP crystals in our laser fa cility to avoid the TSRS induced energy loss and laser damage. The effect of bulk damage on growth behavior of TSRS is also examined and it is found that bulk damage has little impact on the TSRS growth. 7Preparation of Peanut Shell Cellulose Double-Network Hydrogel and Its Adsorption Capacity for Methylene Blue显示文摘To achieve optimal recovery and value-added utilisation of cellulose in peanut shells,the cellulose in peanut shells was first extracted using the sodium hydroxide-sodium chlorite method.Then,cellulose hydrogel was prepared by graft copolymerisation using N,N’-methylenebisacrylamide as the cross-linking agent,sodium persulfate as the initiator,and acrylic acid as the monomer.Orthogonal optimisation experiments were designed to obtain optimal process parameters for hydrogel preparation with the cellulose dosage of 0.40 g,initiator dosage of 0.20 g,polymerisation temperature of 70°C,cross-linking agent of 0.25 g,and monomer dosage of 3.0 mL.The effect of initiator dosage on hydrogel synthesis was the most significant,followed by monomer dosage and reaction temperature.Characterisation using X-ray diffraction analysis and scanning electron microscopy revealed that the hydrogel was amorphous and exhibited a distinct three-dimensional double network structure.Hydrogel swelling kinetic analysis showed that the hydrogel swelling process was divided into three stages,and fitted the Schott secondary swelling kinetic model.The prepared hydrogel had a good adsorption effect on methylene blue;the adsorption of methylene blue by the hydrogel was 1.259 mg/g at 25°C when the initial concentration of methylene blue was 5 mg/L.The adsorption kinetics of the hydrogel fit the pseudo-first-order kinetic model,pseudo-secondorder kinetic model,Eovich model and particle diffusion model.The best fitting effect was obtained with the pseudo-second-order kinetic model.The adsorption isotherm analysis of methylene blue on hydrogel showed that the adsorption process was consistent with Langmuir and Freundlich models.The correlation coefficient of the Freundlich isotherm model was higher,indicating that the adsorption of methylene blue on hydrogel was mainly chemisorption.Yalin Li Lei Liu Wenbao Huang Junpu Xie Zhaoxia Song Shuna Guo Enci Wang 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,7:0
8Strength enhancement of nanocrystalline tungsten under high pressure显示文摘Three tungsten powder samples—one coarse grained(c-W;grain size:1μm–3μm)and two nanocrystalline(n-W;average grain sizes:10nm and 50 nm)—are investigated under nonhydrostatic compression in a diamond anvil cell in separate experiments,and their in situ X-ray diffraction patterns are recorded.The maximum microscopic deviatoric stress in each tungsten sample,a measure of the yield strength,is determined by analyzing the diffraction line width.Over the entire pressure range,the strength of tungsten increases noticeably as the grain size is decreased from 1μm–3μmto 10 nm.The results show that the yield strength of tungsten with an average crystal size of 10nmis around 3.5 times that of the sample with a grain size of 1μm–3μm.Jing Yang Wen Deng Qiang Li Xin Li Akun Liang Yuzhu Su Shixue Guan Junpu Wang Duanwei He 2020Matter and Radiation at Extremes2020,5,5:0
9Recent Advances and Emerging Applications of the Singular Boundary Method for Large-Scale and High-Frequency Computational Acoustics显示文摘With the rapid development of computer technology,numerical simulation has become the third scientific research tool besides theoretical analysis and experi-mental research.As the core of numerical simulation,constructing efficient,accurate and stable numerical methods to simulate complex scientific and engineering prob-lems has become a key issue in computational mechanics.The article outlines the ap-plication of singular boundary method to the large-scale and high-frequency acoustic problems.In practical application,the key issue is to construct efficient and accurate numerical methodology to calculate the large-scale and high-frequency soundfield.This article focuses on the following two research areas.They are how to discretize partial differential equations into more appropriate linear equations,and how to solve linear equations more efficiently.The bottle neck problems encountered in the compu-tational acoustics are used as the technical routes,i.e.,efficient solution of dense linear system composed of ill-conditioned matrix and stable simulation of wave propagation at low sampling frequencies.The article reviews recent advances in emerging appli-cations of the singular boundary method for computational acoustics.This collection can provide a reference for simulating other more complex wave propagation.Junpu Li Zhuojia Fu Yan Gu Qing-Hua Qin 2022Advances in Applied Mathematics and Mechanics2022,14,2:0
