Adaptive Application Offloading Decision and Transmission Scheduling for Mobile Cloud Computing显示文摘Offloading application to cloud can augment mobile devices' computation capabilities for the emerging resource-hungry mobile application, however it can also consume both much time and energy for mobile device offloading application remotely to cloud. In this paper, we develop a newly adaptive application offloading decision-transmission scheduling scheme which can solve above problem efficiently. Specifically, we first propose an adaptive application offloading model which allows multiple target clouds coexisting. Second, based on Lyapunov optimization theory, a low complexity adaptive offloading decision-transmission scheduling scheme has been proposed. And the performance analysis is also given. Finally, simulation results show that, compared with that all applications are executed locally, mobile device can save 68.557% average execution time and 67.095% average energy consumption under situations. | Junyi Wang Jie Peng Yanheng Wei Didi Liu Jielin Fu | 2017 | China Communications2017,14,3: | 6
Whole-genome resequencing of Osmanthus fragrans provides insights into flower color evolution显示文摘Osmanthus fragrans is a well-known ornamental plant that has been domesticated in China for 2500 years.More than 160 cultivars have been found during this long period of domestication, and they have subsequently been divided into four cultivar groups, including the Yingui,Jingui,Dangui, and Sijigui groups. These groups provide a set of materials to study genetic evolution and variability. Here,we constructed a reference genome of O.fragrans‘Liuyejingui’in the Jingui group and investigated its floral color traits and domestication history by resequencing a total of 122 samples, including 119 O.fragrans accessions and three other Osmanthus species,at an average sequencing depth of 15×.The population structure analysis showed that these 119 accessions formed an apparent regional cluster. The results of linkage disequilibrium(LD)decay analysis suggested that varieties with orange/red flower color in the Dangui group had undergone more artificial directional selection;these varieties had the highest LD values among the four groups, followed by the Sijigui,Jingui, and Yingui groups.Through a genome-wide association study,we further identified significant quantitative trait loci and genomic regions containing several genes, such as ethylene-responsive transcription factor 2 and Arabidopsis pseudoresponse regulator 2,that are positively associated with petal color. Moreover,we found a frameshift mutation with a 34-bp deletion in the first coding region of the carotenoid cleavage dioxygenase 4 gene. This frameshift mutation existed in at least one site on both alleles in all varieties of the Dangui group. The results from this study shed light on the genetic basis of domestication in woody plants, such as O.fragrans. | Hongguo Chen Xiangling Zeng Jie Yang Xuan Cai Yumin Shi Riru Zheng Zhenqi Wang Junyi Liu Xinxin Yi Siwei Xiao Qiang Fu Jingjing Zou Caiyun Wang | 2021 | Horticulture Research2021,8,1: | 5
Notch signaling:Its essential roles in bone and craniofacial development显示文摘Notch is a cellecell signaling pathway that is involved in a host of activities including development, oncogenesis, skeletal homeostasis, and much more.More specifically, recent research has demonstrated the importance of Notch signaling in osteogenic differentiation, bone healing, and in the development of the skeleton. The craniofacial skeleton is complex and understanding its development has remained an important focus in biology. In this review we briefly summarize what recent research has revealed about Notch signaling and the current understanding of how the skeleton, skull, and face develop. We then discuss the crucial role that Notch plays in both craniofacial development and the skeletal system, and what importance it may play in the future. | Mikhail Pakvasa Pranav Haravu Michael Boachie-Mensah Alonzo Jones Elam Coalson Junyi Liao Zongyue Zeng Di Wu Kevin Qin Xiaoxing Wu Huaxiu Luo Jing Zhang Meng Zhang Fang He Yukun Mao Yongtao Zhang Changchun Niu Meng Wu Xia Zhao Hao Wang Linjuan Huang Deyao Shi Qing Liu Na Ni Kai Fu Michael J.Lee Jennifer Moriatis Wolf Aravind Athiviraham Sherwin S.Ho Tong-Chuan He Kelly Hynes Jason Strelzow Mostafa El Dafrawy Russell R.Reid | 2021 | Genes & Diseases2021,8,1: | 4
Electromagnetic Confinement and Shaping for Plate-Form Part显示文摘The relationship between melt shape, electromagnetic pressure and magnetic field is studied for electromagnetic confinement and shaping of plate-form part. The results of experimental observation and theoretical inference can be summarized as follows. As the melt thickness a is large enough, causing the ratio of plate thickness to current theoretic skin depth α/δ larger than 2.2, the electromagnetic pressure acting on melt can be simply expressed as Pm =2μ\B2, and the melt shape would be known only by measuring the distribution of magnetic flux density. As α is small and makes the ratio α/δless than 2.2, the melt shape and electromagnetic pressure for confining and shaping are determined not only by magnetic flux density B but also by melt thickness a, electromagnetic parameter pry and current frequency f. In this paper, an equation used to calculate electromagnetic pressure acting on 'thin plate-form melt' is brought forward. The equation gives a precise relationship between electromagnetic pressure factor p and melt thickness α, electromagnetic parameter μγ and current frequency f. | Jun SHEN, Jianguo LI and Hengzhi FU (State Key Laboratory of Solidification Processing, Northwestern Polytechnic University, Xi’an 710072, China) Junyi SU (Xi’an Jiaotong University,Xi’an 710049, China) | 2000 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2000,16,1: | 2

Genome assembly and transcriptome analysis provide insights into the antischistosome mechanism of Microtus fortis显示文摘Microtus fortis is the only mammalian host that exhibits intrinsic resistance against Schistosoma japonicum infection. However, the underlying molecular mechanisms of this resistance are not yet known. Here,we perform the first de novo genome assembly of M.fortis, comprehensive gene annotation analysis, and evolution analysis.Furthermore,we compare the recovery rate of schistosomes, pathological changes, and liver transcriptomes between M.fortis and mice at different time points after infection. We observe that the time and type of immune response in M.fortis are different from those in mice.M.fortis activates immune and inflammatory responses on the 10th day post infection, such as leukocyte extravasation, antibody activation,Fc-gamma receptor-mediated phagocytosis, and the interferon signaling cascade, which play important roles in preventing the development of schistosomes. In contrast,an intense immune response occurrs in mice at the late stages of infection and could not eliminate schistosomes.Infected mice suffer severe pathological injury and continuous decreases in cell cycle, lipid metabolism, and other functions. Our findings offer new insights into the intrinsic resistance mechanism of M.fortis against schistosome infection. The genome sequence also provides the basis for future studies of other important traits in M.fortis. | Hong Li Zhen Wang Shumei Chai Xiong Bai Guohui Ding Yuanyuan Li Junyi Li Qingyu Xiao Benpeng Miao Weili Lin Jie Feng Mingyue Huang Cheng Gao Bin Li Wei Hu Jiaojiao Lin Zhiqiang Fu Jianyun Xie Yixue Li | 2020 | Journal of Genetics and Genomics2020,47,12: | 1
Large scale fabrication of graphene for oil and organic solvent absorption显示文摘A simple method for synthesizing highly wrinkled and less layered structure of graphene sheets by using a mechano-thermal exfoliation method was developed. During this process, graphite and ammonium chloride(NH_4Cl) powders were loaded by milling and followed with heating at a quartz tube under a nitrogen gas flow. The method is facile and easy for scaling up. Consequently, such microstructure merits of structure endowed graphene super strong adsorption ability, which should have great potential for water purification and treatment. | Chenxi Fu Zifeng Wang Junyi Liu Hongbo Jiang Guangming Li Chunyi Zhi | 2016 | Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2016,26,3: | 0
