| 2 | Efficacy and safety of Reduqing granules in the treatment of common cold with wind-heat syndrome: a randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, positive-controlled trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To assess the efficacy and safety of Reduqing granules in patients with common cold with wind-heat syndrome(CCWHS).METHODS:A randomized, double-blind, double-dummy, parallel, positive-controlled trial included 72 CCWHS patients was performed.The participants were randomly assigned to two groups,Reduqing(RDQ) group and Lianhuaqingwen(LHQW) group, in a 1∶1 ratio.Patients in RDQ group received Reduqing granules and dummy Lianhuaqingwen capsules three times a day and patients in LHQW group received Lianhuaqingwen capsules and dummy Reduqing granules three times daily.The duration of treatment and follow-up were four days.RESULTS:There were no statistically significant differences in total markedly effective rate and total effective rate between RDQ group and LHQW group after treatment.Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) symptom score was significantly reduced after treatment in RDQ group, as well as in LHQW group.However, the difference of change in TCM symptom score between two groups was not statistically significant(P > 0.05).There were no significant differences between two groups in the median time to fever relief [RDQ group(4 ± 8) h vs LHQW group(4 ± 5) h] or the median time to fever clearance(RDQ group 47 h vs LHQW 36 h).No serious adverse events were reported during the study.CONCLUSION:Compared with Lianhuaqingwen capsules, Reduqing granules achieved similar therapeutic effect in the treatment of CCWHS and no drug-related adverse events were reported during the study.Therefore, Reduqing granules might be effective and safe in the treatment of CCWHS. | Ma Yanjiao Zhang Zhongyi Wei Lianbo He Shuai Deng Xun Ji Aimin Zhou Benjie Jiang Deqi Li Mingxing Wang Yong | 2017 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2017,37,2: | 5 |
| 3 | A new long-acting GLP-1 derivative KTP ameliorates hyperglycemia and dyslipidemia and improves pancreas and fatty liver in db/db mice显示文摘Glucagon-like peptide-1 (GLP-1) is a polypeptide incretin hormone that glucose-dependently promotes the secretion and synthesis of insulin. However, its half-life is extremely short. To enhance its half-life, we developed a long-acting GLP-1 derivative KTP with controlled release, designed on the basis of another GLP-1 derivative GP62. The kinetics and bioactivity of KTP were evaluated in Sprague Dawley (SD) rats. Long-term treatment of KTP was performed in db/db mice. Mice were treated twice daily with subcutaneous injections of KTP (1.2 mg/kg body weight), Exendin-4 (0.1 mg/kg body weight) or vehicle (phosphate buffered saline (PBS), pH 7.4) for 60 d. KTP had a longer half-life, as well as further increasing the secretion and production of insulin and reducing blood glucose concentrations, than GP62. | 6 | Experimental study on flow heterogeneity of shale bedding fractures based on full-diameter cores显示文摘A self-designed full-diameter core experimental facility was used to evaluate the flow heterogeneity of bedding fractures at four radial directions under different closure pressures and injection rates,using full-diameter cores retaining original natural bedding fractures.The distribution morphology of bedding surface affects the conductivity of bedding fractures,and the flow capacity of bedding fractures in four radial directions varies greatly with the closure pressure and injection rate.The rougher the fracture surface,the greater the flow capacity varies with the closure pressure.For unsupported bedding fractures,the mean percentage error(MPE)of the conductivity in four radial directions increase gradually with the increase of the closure pressure.This phenomenon is especially prominent in deep rock samples.It is indicated that the flow heterogeneity of bedding fractures tends to increase with the closure pressure.When proppant is placed in the fracture,at a low closure pressure,due to the combined effects of self-support of rough fracture surface,proppant instability and uneven proppant placement,the flow heterogeneity is greater than that when proppant is not placed at the same closure pressure;however,with the increase of the closure pressure,the proppant becomes compact and stable,and the flow heterogeneity is mitigated gradually. | ZHU Juhui ZENG Jing GENG Zhoumei LI Yongming WANG Tengfei LI Deqi PAN Yong WANG Juan | 2023 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2023,50,5: | 0 |
| 7 | 5-HMF attenuates inflammation and demyelination in experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis mice by inhibiting the MIF-CD74 interaction显示文摘The neuroprotective role of 5-hydroxymethyl-2-furfural(5-HMF)has been demonstrated in a variety of neurological diseases.The aim of this study is to investigate the effect of 5-HMF on multiple sclerosis(MS).IFN-γ-stimulated murine microglia(BV2 cells)are considered a cell model of MS.With 5-HMF treatment,microglial M1/2 polarization and cytokine levels are detected.The interaction of 5-HMF with migration inhibitory factor(MIF)is predicted using online databases.The experimental autoimmune encephalomyelitis(EAE)mouse model is established,followed by a 5-HMF injection.The results show that 5-HMF facilitates IFN-γ-stimulated microglial M2 polarization and attenuates the inflammatory response.According to the network pharmacology and molecular docking results,5-HMF has a binding site for MIF.Further results show that blocking MIF activity or silencing CD74 enhances microglial M2 polarization,reduces inflammatory activity,and prevents ERK1/2 phosphorylation.5-HMF inhibits the MIF-CD74 interaction by binding to MIF,thereby inhibiting microglial M1 polarization and enhancing the anti-inflammatory response.5-HMF ameliorates EAE,inflammation,and demyelination in vivo.In conclusion,our research indicates that 5-HMF promotes microglial M2 polarization by inhibiting the MIF-CD74 interaction,thereby attenuating inflammation and demyelination in EAE mice. | Dongsheng Guan Yingxia Li Yinglin Cui Huanghong Zhao Ning Dong Kun Wang Deqi Ren Tiantian Song Xiaojing Wang Shijie Jin Yinghe Gao Mengmeng Wang | 2023 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,8: | 0 |
| 8 | Comparison of toxicity effects of fuel oil treated by different dispersants on marine medaka(Oryzias melastigma) embryo显示文摘This study aims to evaluate the subacute toxic effects of oil under different treatments on marine organism by simulating natural contaminative processes. In this study, 120#(RMD15) fuel oil was selected as the pollutant and marine medaka(Oryzias melastigma) embryos as the experimental organism. The developmental toxicity of different volume concentrations(0.05%, 0.2%, 1% and 5%) of water-accommodated fractions, biologicallyenhanced water-accommodated fractions, and chemically-enhanced water-accommodated fractions on the embryos in different exposure time(8, 15 and 22 d) were compared and the content of relevant polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbons(PAHs) was studied(in dispersion and in vivo). The subacute toxic effects were assessed in terms of antioxidant activities of enzymes(superoxide dismutase, catalase and glutathione S-transferase) and the blue sac disease(BSD) indexes.The results showed that the BSD indexes of the treatment groups were significantly higher than the respective control groups and showed positive correlations with both concentration and exposure time. The experiments with three antioxidant enzymes indicated that enzymatic activities of the embryos changed dramatically under the oxidation stress of petroleum hydrocarbons, especially after adding the dispersants. | 9 | Genomic landscape of mitochondrial DNA insertions in 23 bat genomes:characteristics,loci,phylogeny,and polymorphism显示文摘The transfer of mitochondrial DNA to the nuclear genome gives rise to the nuclear DNA sequences of mitochon-drial origin(NUMTs),considered as a driving force in genome evolution.In this study,NUMTs in 23 bat genomes were investigated and compared systematically.The results showed that NUMTs existed in 22 genomes except for Noctilio leporinus,suggesting that mitochondrial fragment insertion in the nuclear genome was a common event in bat genomes.However,remarkable variations in NUMTs number,cumulative length,and proportion in the nu-clear genome were discovered across bat species.Further orthologous NUMT loci analysis of the Phyllostomidae family indicated that the NUMTs insertion events in bat genomes were homoplasy-free.The NUMTs were mainly inserted into the intergenic regions,particularly,co-localized with repetitive sequences(especially transposable el-ements).However,several NUMTs were inserted into genes,some of which were in the exon region of functional genes.One NUMT in the genome of Pteropus alecto surprisingly matched with cDNA of ATP8B3 that provided evidence of NUMTs with coding function.Phylogenic analysis on NUMTs originating from COXI and COXII loci highlighted 2 clusters of Yinpterochiroptera and Yangochiroptera for Chiroptera.Seven NUMTs from Rhinolophus ferrumequinum were amplified,and the sequencing results confirmed the reliability of the NUMT analysis.One of them was polymorphic for the presence or absence of the NUMT insertion,and each genotype of NUMT loci showed a distinct regional distribution pattern.The information obtained in this study provides novel insights into the NUMT organization and features in bat genomes and establishes a basis for further studying of the evolution of bat species. | Guojun ZHANG Deqi GENG Qiulin GUO Wei LIU Shufen LI Wujun GAO Yongfei WANG Min ZHANG Yilin WANG Yanzhen BU Hongxing NIU | 2022 | Integrative Zoology2022,17,5: | 0 |
| 10 | Engineering the electronic and geometric structure of VO_(x)/BN@TiO_(2)heterostructure for efficient aerobic oxidative desulfurization显示文摘Particle size governs the electronic and geometric structure of metal nanoparticles(NPs),shaping their catalytic performances in heterogeneous catalysis.However,precisely controlling the size of active metal NPs and thereafter their catalytic activities remain an affordable challenge in ultra-deep oxidative desulfurization(ODS)field.Herein,a series of highly-efficient VO_(x)/boron nitride nanosheets(BNNS)@TiO_(2)heterostructures,therein,cetyltrimethylammonium bromide cationic surfactants serving as intercalation agent,BNNS and MXene as precursors,with various VO_(x)NP sizes were designed and controllably constructed by a facile intercalation confinement strategy.The properties and structures of the prepared catalysts were systematically characterized by different technical methods,and their catalytic activities were investigated for aerobic ODS of dibenzothiophene(DBT).The results show that the size of VO_(x)NPs and V^(5+)/V^(4+)play decisive roles in the catalytic aerobic ODS of VO_(x)/BNNS@TiO_(2)catalysts and that VO_(x)/BNNS@TiO_(2)-2 exhibits the highest ODS activity with 93.7%DBT conversion within 60 min under the reaction temperature of 130℃and oxygen flow rate of 200 mL·min-1,which is due to its optimal VO_(x)dispersion,excellent reducibility and abundant active species.Therefore,the finding here may contribute to the fundamental understanding of structure-activity in ultradeep ODS and inspire the advancement of highly-efficient catalyst. | Lu Zhang Jixing Liu Deqi Huang Wenfeng Zhang Linjie Lu Mingqing Hua Hui Liu Huifang Cheng Huaming Li Wenshuai Zhu | 2023 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,3: | 0 |

When the treating system operates under an optimal control conditions, such as a 55% loading rate, an illumination intensity of 2500-3500 lux and a hydraulic residence time of 4 hours, the COD and ammonia nitrogen removal can reach 90%.
