| 2 | Research on the risk-based model for regional emergency resource allocation for ship-source oil spill显示文摘The key point for rational allocation of emergency resources is to match the oil spill response capacity with the risk of oil spill. This paper proposes an innovative risk-based model for quantitative regional emergency resource allocation, which comprehensively analyzes the factors such as oil spill probability, hazard consequences, oil properties, weathering process and operation efficiency, etc. The model calculates three major resources, i.e.,mechanical recovery, dispersion and absorption, according to the results of risk assessment. In a field application in Xiaohu Port, Guangzhou, China, and the model achieved scientific and rational allocation of emergency resources by matching the assessed risk with the regional capacity, and allocating emergency resources according to capability target. | 8 | Genomic landscape of mitochondrial DNA insertions in 23 bat genomes:characteristics,loci,phylogeny,and polymorphism显示文摘The transfer of mitochondrial DNA to the nuclear genome gives rise to the nuclear DNA sequences of mitochon-drial origin(NUMTs),considered as a driving force in genome evolution.In this study,NUMTs in 23 bat genomes were investigated and compared systematically.The results showed that NUMTs existed in 22 genomes except for Noctilio leporinus,suggesting that mitochondrial fragment insertion in the nuclear genome was a common event in bat genomes.However,remarkable variations in NUMTs number,cumulative length,and proportion in the nu-clear genome were discovered across bat species.Further orthologous NUMT loci analysis of the Phyllostomidae family indicated that the NUMTs insertion events in bat genomes were homoplasy-free.The NUMTs were mainly inserted into the intergenic regions,particularly,co-localized with repetitive sequences(especially transposable el-ements).However,several NUMTs were inserted into genes,some of which were in the exon region of functional genes.One NUMT in the genome of Pteropus alecto surprisingly matched with cDNA of ATP8B3 that provided evidence of NUMTs with coding function.Phylogenic analysis on NUMTs originating from COXI and COXII loci highlighted 2 clusters of Yinpterochiroptera and Yangochiroptera for Chiroptera.Seven NUMTs from Rhinolophus ferrumequinum were amplified,and the sequencing results confirmed the reliability of the NUMT analysis.One of them was polymorphic for the presence or absence of the NUMT insertion,and each genotype of NUMT loci showed a distinct regional distribution pattern.The information obtained in this study provides novel insights into the NUMT organization and features in bat genomes and establishes a basis for further studying of the evolution of bat species. | Guojun ZHANG Deqi GENG Qiulin GUO Wei LIU Shufen LI Wujun GAO Yongfei WANG Min ZHANG Yilin WANG Yanzhen BU Hongxing NIU | 2022 | Integrative Zoology2022,17,5: | 0 |
| 9 | Engineering the electronic and geometric structure of VO_(x)/BN@TiO_(2)heterostructure for efficient aerobic oxidative desulfurization显示文摘Particle size governs the electronic and geometric structure of metal nanoparticles(NPs),shaping their catalytic performances in heterogeneous catalysis.However,precisely controlling the size of active metal NPs and thereafter their catalytic activities remain an affordable challenge in ultra-deep oxidative desulfurization(ODS)field.Herein,a series of highly-efficient VO_(x)/boron nitride nanosheets(BNNS)@TiO_(2)heterostructures,therein,cetyltrimethylammonium bromide cationic surfactants serving as intercalation agent,BNNS and MXene as precursors,with various VO_(x)NP sizes were designed and controllably constructed by a facile intercalation confinement strategy.The properties and structures of the prepared catalysts were systematically characterized by different technical methods,and their catalytic activities were investigated for aerobic ODS of dibenzothiophene(DBT).The results show that the size of VO_(x)NPs and V^(5+)/V^(4+)play decisive roles in the catalytic aerobic ODS of VO_(x)/BNNS@TiO_(2)catalysts and that VO_(x)/BNNS@TiO_(2)-2 exhibits the highest ODS activity with 93.7%DBT conversion within 60 min under the reaction temperature of 130℃and oxygen flow rate of 200 mL·min-1,which is due to its optimal VO_(x)dispersion,excellent reducibility and abundant active species.Therefore,the finding here may contribute to the fundamental understanding of structure-activity in ultradeep ODS and inspire the advancement of highly-efficient catalyst. | Lu Zhang Jixing Liu Deqi Huang Wenfeng Zhang Linjie Lu Mingqing Hua Hui Liu Huifang Cheng Huaming Li Wenshuai Zhu | 2023 | Frontiers of Chemical Science and Engineering2023,17,3: | 0 |
| 10 | Study on Immobilized Algal Cells for Treatment and Recycle of Refinery Wastewater显示文摘Compared to the algal oxidation pond, treatment of wastewater using the immobilized algal cell technology has excellent effect, which not only can effectively avoid the disadvantage of oxidation pond,but can also remarkably improve the efficiency of treating system and the effluent quality. When the treating system operates under an optimal control conditions, such as a 55% loading rate, an illumination intensity of 2500-3500 lux and a hydraulic residence time of 4 hours, the COD and ammonia nitrogen removal can reach 90%.
