2MicroRNAs as potential therapeutics for treating spinal cord injury显示文摘MicroRNAs are a class of recently discovered,small non-coding RNAs that have been shown to play essential roles in a vast majority of biological processes.Very little is known about the role of microRNAs during spinal cord injury.This review summarizes the changes in expression levels of microRNAs after spinal cord injury.These aberrant changes suggest that microRNAs play an important role in inflammation,oxidative stress,apoptosis,glial scar formation and axonal regeneration.Given their small size and specificity of action,microRNAs could be potential therapeutics for treating spinal cord injury in the future.There are rapidly developing techniques for manipulating microRNA levels in animals;we review different chemical modification and delivery strategies.These may provide platforms for designing efficient microRNA delivery protocols for use in the clinic.Hualin Yan Peiwei Hong Mei Jiang Hedong Li 2012Neural Regeneration Research2012,7,17:3
3Production of heavy neutron-rich nuclei with radioactive beams in multinucleon transfer reactions显示文摘The production mechanism of heavy neutronrich nuclei is investigated by using the multinucleon transfer reactions of ^(136;148)Xe+^(208)Pb and ^(238)U+^(208)Pb in the framework of a dinuclear system model. The evaporation residual cross sections of target-like fragments are studied with the reaction system ^(148)Xe+^(208)Pb at near barrier energies. The results show that the final isotopic production cross sections in the neutron-deficient side are very sensitive to incident energy while it is not sensitive in the neutron-rich side. 4Stability analysis of surrounding rock mass in underground powerhouse considering damage effect of microfractures显示文摘A high-precision microseismic(MS)monitoring system was built to monitor surrounding rock microfractures in the underground powerhouse on the left bank of Shuangjiangkou Hydropower Station.The surrounding rock damage area with spatiotemporal clustering of MS activities was studied for qualitative analysis of the damage mechanism of surrounding rock microfractures,based on the source parameters of MS events.The surrounding rock microfracture scale characterized by the source radius of MS events was considered to establish the constitutive relation.MS information was imported into the model for numerical analysis using fast Lagrangian analysis of continuain 3 dimensions(FLAC^(3D)).The results indicated that the numerical simulation results considering MS damage can better reflect the actual situation of the field.The surrounding rock microfractures mainly showed mixed failure characteristics.Shear failures appeared in localized areas while the fracture scale of sections from K0e33 m to K0e15 m on the vault was large.The deformation increment caused by microfracture damage in the shallow surrounding rock of the top arch accounted for 10%e13%,and the stress decrement in the surrounding rock caused by microfracture damage accounted for about 10%.Peiwei Xiao Haoyu Mao Bo Qian Biao Li Xingguo Yang Nuwen Xu 2022Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2022,14,4:2

8Analysis of rockburst mechanism and warning based on microseismic moment tensors and dynamic Bayesian networks显示文摘One of the major factors inhibiting the construction of deep underground projects is the risk posed by rockbursts.A study was conducted on the access tunnel of the Shuangjiangkou hydropower station to determine the evolutionary mechanism of microfractures within the surrounding rock mass during rockburst development and develop a rockburst warning model.The study area was chosen through the combination of field studies with an analysis of the spatial and temporal distribution of microseismic(MS)events.The moment tensor inversion method was adopted to study rockburst mechanism,and a dynamic Bayesian network(DBN)was applied to investigating the sensitivity of MS source parameters for rockburst warnings.A MS multivariable rockburst warning model was proposed and validated using two case studies.The results indicate that fractures in the surrounding rock mass during the development of strain-structure rockbursts initially show shear failure and are then followed by tensile failure.The effectiveness of the DBN-based rockburst warning model was demonstrated using self-validation and K-fold cross-validation.Moment magnitude and source radius are the most sensitive factors based on an investigation of the influence on the parent and child nodes in the model,which can serve as important standards for rockburst warnings.The proposed rockburst warning model was found to be effective when applied to two actual projects.Haoyu Mao Nuwen Xu Xiang Li Biao Li Peiwei Xiao Yonghong Li Peng Li 2023Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2023,15,10:1
9Performance of steel bridge deck pavement structure with ultra high performance concrete based on resin bonding显示文摘This research investigated a pavement system on steel bridge decks that use epoxy resin(EP)bonded ultra-high performance concrete(UHPC).Through FEM analysis and static and dynamic bending fatigue tests of the composite structure,the influences of the interface of the pavement layer,reinforcement,and different paving materials on the structural performance were compared and analyzed.The results show that the resin bonded UHPC pavement structure can reduce the weld strain in the steel plate by about 32%and the relative deflection between ribs by about 52%under standard axial load conditions compared to traditional pavements.The EP bonding layer can nearly double the drawing strength of the pavement interface from 1.3 MPa,and improve the bending resistance of the UHPC structure on steel bridge decks by about 50%;the bending resistance of reinforced UHPC structures is twice that of unreinforced UHPC structure,and the dynamic deflection of the UHPC pavement structure increases exponentially with increasing fatigue load.The fatigue life is about 1.2×10^(7) cycles under a fixed force of 9 kN and a dynamic deflection of 0.35 mm,which meets the requirements for fatigue performance of pavements on steel bridge decks under traffic conditions of large flow and heavy load.Hui ZHANG Zhixiang ZHANG Peiwei GAO Lei CUI Youqiang PAN Kuan LI 2021Frontiers of Structural and Civil Engineering2021,15,4:1
10Natural killer cell-derived exosomal miR-1249-3p attenuates insulin resistance and inflammation in mouse models of type 2 diabetes显示文摘Natural killer(NK)cells have been suggested to be associated with type 2 diabetes by regulating systemic inflammation.However,the mechanism by which NK cells regulate insulin sensitivity remains unknown.This study shows that NK-derived exosomes from lean mice attenuate obesity-induced insulin resistance and inflammation in mice of type 2 diabetes.Moreover,lean NK-derived exosomes enhance insulin sensitivity and relieve inflammation in adipocytes and hepatocytes.MiR-1249-3p,which is significantly upregulated in lean NK-derived exosomes,can be transferred from NK cells to adipocytes and hepatocytes via exosomes.NKderived exosomal miR-1249-3p dramatically induces cellular insulin sensitivity and relieves inflammation.Mechanistically,exosomal miR-1249-3p directly targets SKOR1 to regulate the formation of ternary complex SMAD6/MYD88/SMURF1,which mediates glucose homeostasis by suppressing the TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway.This study reveals an emerging role for NK-derived exosomal miR1249-3p in remission of insulin resistance,and provides a series of potential therapeutic targets in type 2 diabetes.Ying Wang Mengwei Li Lin Chen Huan Bian Xiangying Chen Huilin Zheng Peiwei Yang Quan Chen Hanmei Xu 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12:1
11Microseismic monitoring and forecasting of dynamic disasters in underground hydropower projects in southwest China:A review显示文摘The underground hydropower projects in Southwest China is characterized by large excavation sizes,high geostresses,complicated geological conditions and multiple construction processes.Various disasters such as collapses,large deformations,rockbursts are frequently encountered,resulting in serious casualties and huge economic losses.This review mainly presents some representative results on microseismic(MS)monitoring and forecasting for disasters in hydropower underground engineering.First,a set of new denoising,spectral analysis,and location methods were developed for better identification and location of MS signals.Then,the tempo-spatial characteristics of MS events were analyzed to understand the relationship between field construction and damages of surrounding rocks.Combined with field construction,geological data,numerical simulation and parametric analysis of MS sources,the focal mechanism of MS events was revealed.A damage constitutive model considering MS fracturing size was put forward and feedback analysis considering the MS damage of underground surrounding rocks was conducted.Next,an MS multi-parameter based risk assessment and early warning method for dynamic disasters were proposed.The technology for control of the damage and deformation of underground surrounding rocks was proposed for underground caverns.Finally,two typical underground powerhouses were selected as case studies.These achievements can provide significant references for prevention and control of dynamic disasters for underground engineering with similar complicated geological conditions.Biao Li Nuwen Xu Peiwei Xiao Yong Xia Xiang Zhou Gongkai Gu Xingguo Yang 2023Journal of Rock Mechanics and Geotechnical Engineering2023,15,8:1

15Solution-processed electroluminescent whitelight-emitting devices based on AIE molecules and Cu-In-Zn-S nanocrystals显示文摘Solution process is a key technique for the manufacture of large-area and low-cost semiconducting devices and,thus, attracts a lot of attention from both academia and industry. Herein, we realized solution-processed lightemitting diodes(excluding a cathode) based on aggregation-induced emission(AIE) molecules of tetraphenylethylene-4Cl(TPE-4Cl) and cadimum-free semiconductor nanocrystals(NCs) for the first time. By mixing Cu-In-Zn-S NCs and TPE-4Cl as an emissive layer, a new type of environmentally friendly white-light-emitting diodes(WLEDs) was prepared through a solution-processed technique. After systematical optimization of the asprepared WLEDs, the corresponding color rendering index can reach up to 87 with a maximum luminance of262 cd/m2. 16Experimental Study and Failure Criterion Analysis of Rubber Fibre Reinforced Concrete under Biaxial Compression-Compression显示文摘In order to examine the biaxial compression-compression properties of rubber fibre reinforced concrete(RFRC),an experimental study on RFRC under different lateral compressive stresses was carried out by considering different rubber replacement rates and polypropylene fibre contents.The failure modes and mechanical property parameters of different RFRC working conditions were obtained from the experiment to explore the effects of rubber replacement rate and polypropylene fibre content on the biaxial compression-compression properties of RFRC.The following conclusions were drawn.Under the influence of lateral compressive stress,the biaxial compression-compression failure mode gradually developed from a columnar pattern to a flaky pattern,suggesting that the incorporation of rubber and polypropylene fibres into the concrete resulted in a significant change in the development of cracks.For different rubber replacement rates and polypropylene fibre contents,the vertical compressive stress exhibited the same developing trend under the influence of lateral compressive stress.Specifically,the lateral compressive stress imposed the minimum effect on the vertical compressive stress when the rubber replacement rate and polypropylene fibre content were 20%and 0.4%,respectively,and imposed the maximum effect when the rubber replacement rate and polypropylene fibre content were 20%and 0%,respectively.With the increase of rubber replacement rate,the vertical peak stress was significantly reduced,which implies that an appropriate amount of polypropylene fibres can increase the vertical peak stress to a certain extent.Then,the biaxial compression-compression mechanism of RFRC was analysed from the microscopic level by using scanning electron microscope(SEM).Meanwhile,based on Kupfer’s biaxial compression-compression failure criterion and the octahedral stress space,a biaxial compression-compression failure criterion for RFRC was proposed,which was proven to have good applicability.The research results of this study provide important theoretical basis for the engineering application and development of RFRC.Yanli Hu Peiwei Gao Furong Li Zhiqing Zhao Zhenpeng Yu 2023Journal of Renewable Materials2023,11,4:0

19Fatigue Life of a 2.5D C/SiC Composite Under Tension–Tension Cyclic Loading:Experimental Investigation and Sensitivity Analysis显示文摘Engineering structures made of ceramic matrix composites(CMCs)usually suffer from cyclic loads during service,which could lead to disastrous failures.This work focuses on the fatigue behavior of a 2.5D C/SiC composite under tension–tension cyclic loading.Experiments of the 2.5D C/SiC composite are firstly carried out to determine the fatigue lifetime of the material at different stress levels.The fracture surfaces examined by a scanning electronic microscope indicate that the damage mechanisms under cyclic loading are closely related to crack propagation,fiber/matrix interfacial degradation,and fiber breakage.Considering the damage evolution of fibers and interfacial resistance,a micromechanical model is adopted to describe the fatigue behavior of 2.5D C/SiC composite,and the numerical results are compared with the experimental results.Further,a sensitivity analysis is performed as a function of the interfacial shear stress,fiber Weibull modulus,and fiber strength.The calculation of sensitivity factors shows that the variations of the fiber Weibull modulus and fiber strength have the most significant influence and,thereafter,the variation of interfacial shear stress.Jingwei Yu Qingguo Fei Peiwei Zhang Yanbin Li Qiang Chen 2021Acta Mechanica Solida Sinica2021,34,5:0
20Visualization and early warning analysis of damage degree of surrounding rock mass in underground powerhouse显示文摘Based on the underground powerhouse of Shuangjiangkou hydropower station,Octree theory is adopted to define the indices of the microseismic(MS)spatial aggregation degree and the deviation values of MS count and energy.The relationship between the MS multiple parameters and surrounding rock mass instability is established from three aspects:time,space,and strength.Supplemented by the center frequency of the signal evolution characteristics,A fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model and the evolution trend of the MS event center frequency are constructed to quantitatively describe the early warning state of the surrounding rock mass instability.The results show that the multilevel tree structure and voxels generated based on the Octree theory fit relatively well with the set of MS points in threedimensional space.The fuzzy comprehensive evaluation model based on MS spatial aggregation and MS count and energy deviation values enables three-dimensional visualization of the potential damage area and damage extent of the surrounding rock mass.The warning time and potential damage zone quantified are highly consistent with the characteristics of MS precursors,with wide recognition and field investigation results,which fully validate the rationality and applicability of the proposed method.These findings can provide references for the early warning of surrounding rock mass instability in similar underground engineering.Yuepeng Sun Haijian Su Peiwei Xiao Peng Li Biao Li Xiang Zhou Kaiqi Bian Nuwen Xu 2023International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2023,33,6:0
