| 1 | Ground settlement of Chek Lap Kok Airport,Hong Kong,detected by satellite synthetic aperture radar interferometry显示文摘Satellite synthetic aperture radar (SAR) inter-ferometry is used to investigate the slowly accumulating ground settlement at the new Chek Lap Kok Airport in Hong Kong. Most of the land occupied by the airport was reclaimed from the sea and therefore certain ground settlement in the area has been expected. A pair of ERS-2 SAR images spanning nearly a year is used in the study. The high spatial resolution (20 m×20 m) ground settlement map derived indicates that the settlement that occurred in the area over the time period is as large as 50 mm. The SAR measurement results agree with the levelling measurements at some benchmarks in the area to well within 1 cm(rms error),and the overall correlation between the two types of results is 0.89. | 2 | Interface issues of lithium metal anode for high-energy batteries: Challenges, strategies, and perspectives显示文摘Lithium(Li)metal is considered as one of the most promising anode materials for next-generation high-energy-density storage systems.However,the practical application of Li metal anode is hindered by interfacial instability and air instability due to the highly reactivity of Li metal.Unstable interface in Li metal batteries(LMBs)directly dictates Li dendrite growth,“dead Li”and low Coulombic efficiency,resulting in inferior electrochemical performance of LMBs and even safety issues.In addition,its sensitivity to ambient air leads to the severe corrosion of Li metal anode,high requirements of production and storage,and increased manufacturing cost.Plenty of efforts in recent years have overcome many bottlenecks in these fields and hastened the practical applications of high-energy-density LMBs.In this review,we focus on emerging methods of these two aspects to fulfill a stable and low cost electrode.In this perspective,design artificial solid electrolyte interphase(SEI)layers,construct three-dimensional conductive current collectors,optimize electrolytes,employ solid-state electrolytes,and modify separators are summarized to be propitious to ameliorate interfacial stability.Meanwhile,ex situ/in situ formed protective layers are highlighted in favor of heightening air stability.Finally,several possible directions for the future research on advanced Li metal anode are addressed. | Yiyao Han Bo Liu Zhen Xiao Wenkui Zhang Xiuli Wang Guoxiang Pan Yang Xia Xinhui Xia Jiangping Tu | 2021 | InfoMat2021,3,2: | 11 |
| 3 | The wheat MYB-related transcription factor TaMYB72 promotes flowering in rice显示文摘Through large-scale transformation analyses, Ta MYB72 was identified as a flowering time regulator in wheat. Ta MYB72 is a MYB family transcription factor localized to the nucleus. Three Ta MYB72 homologs,Ta MYB72-A, Ta MYB72-B and Ta MYB72-D, cloned from hexaploid wheat were mapped to the short arm of the group 6 chromosomes. Under the long-day conditions,over-expression of the Ta MYB72 in rice shortened the flowering time by approximately 12 d. | 4 | Medical expenditures for colorectal cancer diagnosis and treatment: A 10-year high-level-hospital-based multicenter retrospective survey in China, 2002-2011显示文摘Objective: Colorectal cancer(CRC) causes a substantial burden of disease in China and the evidence of economic burden triggered is fundamental for priority setting. The aim of this survey was to quantify medical expenditures and the time trends for CRC diagnosis and treatment in China.Methods: From 2012 to 2014, a hospital-based multicenter retrospective survey was conducted in 13 provinces across China. For each eligible CRC patient diagnosed from 2002 to 2011, clinical information and expenditure data were extracted using a uniform questionnaire. All expenditure data were reported in Chinese Yuan(CNY)using 2011 values.Results: Of the 14,536 CRC patients included, the average age at diagnosis was 58.2 years and 15.8% were stageI cases. The average medical expenditure per patient was estimated at 37,902 CNY [95 % confidence interval(95%CI): 37,282-38,522], and the annual average increase rate was 9.2% from 2002 to 2011(P for trend <0.001), with a cumulative increase of 2.4 times(from 23,275 CNY to 56,010 CNY). The expenditure per patient in stages Ⅰ, Ⅱ, Ⅲ and Ⅳ were 31,698 CNY, 37,067 CNY, 38,918 CNY and 42,614 CNY, respectively(P<0.001). Expenditure significantly differed within various subgroups. Expenses for drugs contributed the largest proportion(52.6%).Conclusions: These conservative estimates illustrated that medical expenditures for CRC diagnosis and treatment in tertiary hospitals in China were substantial and increased rapidly over the 10 years, with drugs continually being the main expense by 2011. Relatively, medical expenditures are lower for CRC in the earlier stages. | 6 | Geochemical Characteristics and Sources of Ore-forming Fluids of the Mayuan Pb-Zn Deposit,Nanzheng,Shaanxi,China显示文摘The Mayuan stratabound Pb-Zn deposit in Nanzheng,Shaanxi Province,is located in the northern margin of the Yangtze Plate,in the southern margin of the Beiba Arch.The orebodies are stratiform and hosted in breciated dolostone of the Sinian Dengying Formation.The ore minerals are primarily sphalerite and galena,and the gangue minerals comprise of dolomite,quartz,barite,calcite and solid bitumen.Fluid inclusions from ore-stage quartz and calcite have homogenization tempreatures from 98 to 337℃ and salinities from 7.7 wt%to 22.2 wt%(NaCl equiv.).The vapor phase of the inclusions is mainly composed of CH_4 with minor CO_2 and H_2S.The δD_(fluid) values of fluid inclusions in quartz and calcite display a range from-68‰ to-113‰(SMOW),and the δ^(18)O_(fluid)values calculated from δ^(18)O_(quartz) and δ^(18)O_(calcite) values range from 4.5‰ to 16.7‰(SMOW).These data suggest that the ore-forming fluids may have been derived from evaporitic sea water that had reacted with organic matter.The δ^(13)C_(CH4) values of CH_4 in fluid inclusions range from-37.2‰ to-21.0‰(PDB),suggesting that the CH_4 in the ore-forming fluids was mainly derived from organic matter.This,together with the abundance of solid bitumen in the ores,suggest that organic matter played an important role in mineralization,and that the thermochemical sulfate reduction(TSR) was the main mechanism of sulfide precipitation.The Mayuan Pb-Zn deposit is a carbonate-hosted epigenetic deposit that may be classified as a Mississippi Valley type(MVT) deposit. | LIU Shuwen LI Ronxi CHI Guoxiang ZENG Rong LIU Lingfang SHI Shun | 2015 | Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2015,89,3: | 5 |
| 7 | Detecting land subsidence near metro lines in the Baoshan district of Shanghai with multi-temporal interferometric synthetic aperture radar显示文摘Land subsidence is a major factor that affects metro line(ML) stability. In this study, an improved multitemporal interferometric synthetic aperture radar(InSAR)(MTI) method to detect land subsidence near MLs is presented. In particular, our multi-temporal InSAR method provides surface subsidence measurements with high observation density. The MTI method tracks both point-like targets and distributed targets with temporal radar backscattering steadiness. First, subsidence rates at the point targets with low-amplitude dispersion index(ADI) values are extracted by applying a least-squared estimator on an optimized freely connected network. Second, to reduce error propagation, the pixels with high-ADI values are classified into several groups according to ADI intervals and processed using a Pearson correlation coefficient and hierarchical analysis strategy to obtain the distributed targets. Then,nonlinear subsidence components at all point-like and distributed targets are estimated using phase unwrapping and spatiotemporal filtering on the phase residuals. The proposed MTI method was applied to detect land subsidence near MLs of No. 1 and 3 in the Baoshan district of Shanghai using 18 TerraSAR-X images acquired between April 21,2008 and October 30, 2010. The results show that the mean subsidence rates of the stations distributed along the two MLs are-12.9 and-14.0 mm/year. Furthermore, three subsidence funnels near the MLs are discovered through the hierarchical analysis. | 9 | Monitoring subsidence rates along road network by persistent scatterer SAR interferometry with high-resolution TerraSAR-X imagery显示文摘Ground subsidence is one of the key factors damaging transportation facilities,e.g.,road networks consisting of highways and railways.In tiiis paper,we propose to apply the persistent scatterer synthetic aperture radar interferometry(PS-InSAR)approach mat uses highresolution TerraSAR-X(TSX)imagery to extract the regional scale subsidence rates(i.e.,average annual subsidence in mm/year)along road networks.The primary procedures involve interferometric pair selection,interferogram generation,persistent scatterer(PS)detection,PS networking,phase parameterization,and subsidence rate estimation.The Xiqing District in southwest Tianjin(China)is selected as the study area.This district contains one railway line and several highway lines.A total of 15TSX images covering this area between April 2009 and June 2010 are utilized to obtain the subsidence rates by using the PS-InSAR(PSI)approach.The subsidence rates derived from PSI range from—68.7 to—1.3 mm/year.These findings show a significantly uneven subsidence pattern along the road network.Comparison between the PSI-derived subsidence rates and the leveling data obtained along the highways shows that the mean and standard deviation(SD)of the discrepancies between die two types of subsidence rates are 0.1 and±3.2 mm/year,respectively.The results indicate that the high-resolution TSX PSI is capable of providing comprehensive and detailedsubsidence information regarding road networks with millimeter-level accuracy.Further inspections under geological conditions and land-use categories in the study area indicate that the observed subsidence is highly related to aquifer compression due to groundwater pumping.Therefore,measures should be taken to mitigate groundwater extraction for the study area. | Bing Yu Guoxiang Liu Rui Zhang Hongguo Jia Tao Li Xiaowen Wang Keren Dai Deying Ma | 2013 | Journal of Modern Transportation2013,21,4: | 4 |

| 13 | Aberrantly expressed GFRα-1/RET in patients with lacrimal adenoid cystic carcinoma is associated with high recurrence risk:a retrospective study of 51 LACC cases显示文摘Objective:Because of the poor prognosis of lacrimal adenoid cystic carcinoma(LACC),we aimed to investigate the effects of perineural invasion(PNI)and consequent aberrations in GDNF/GFRα-1/RET protein expression on LACC recurrence.Methods:Clinicopathological data for 51 histologically confirmed patients with LACC enrolled between 2001 and 2017 were retrospectively analyzed.Hematoxylin and eosin staining was applied to assess PNI.Tissue-based immunohistochemistry(IHC)detection of GDNF,GFRα-1,and RET proteins was performed on LACC formalin-fixed,paraffin-embedded specimens.We generated semi-quantitative data of the IHC results and compared them with the clinicopathological data for the 51 patients.Results:Of the 51 patients,19(37.3%)were PNI positive.Recurrence was more common for LACC with than without PNI(73.7%vs.37.5%,P=0.01).GDNF,GFRα-1,and RET proteins were expressed in 62.7%,62.7%,and 54.9%of the 51 patients with LACC,respectively.The expression of all 3 proteins was more common in patients with than without PNI.In agreement with previous findings,PNI-associated GFRα-1 and RET positivity,as detected by IHC,remained significantly associated with recurrence,whereas GDNF expression,as detected by IHC,was not correlated with LACC recurrence.Specifically,patients with concurrent GFRα-1 and RET expression may have a high risk of PNI(89.5%positivity rate)and recurrence(84.2%positivity rate).Conclusions:PNI may contribute to LACC recurrence.The concurrent expression of GFRα-1 and RET proteins,as detected by IHC,may potentially be associated with LACC PNI and recurrence. | Lin Liu Liqiong Zhao Jie Zhang Guoxiang Song Carol LShields Ruihua Wei | 2021 | Cancer Biology & Medicine2021,18,1: | 3 |

| 15 | Extraction and analysis of saline soil deformation in the Qarhan Salt Lake region (in Qinghai, China) by the sentinel SBAS-InSAR technique显示文摘The instability of saline soil foundation affects the safety of artificial construction,and may cause ground collapse,building destruction and road damage.It is fundamental to reduce the potential engineering geological disasters by exploring the dynamic evolution of saline soil.Most of the previous researches of saline soil were conducted by simulated experiments and traditional geodetic surveying methods.Restricted to the limited sampling points,the spatiotemporal evolution characteristics of saline soil were difficult to find out in a large scale.This paper exploited SBAS-InSAR method to extract the deformation of the Qarhan Salt Lake(in Qinghai,China)section along Qinghai-Tibet railway,based on 119 image data acquired by Sentinel-1A from 2015 to 2020.The results showed that the deformation trends varied frequently in this saline mud flat.Between the adjacent areas with different deformation trends along Qinghai-Tibet railway,discontinuities caused by uplift and subsidence were very obvious.Besides,among the areas with brine exploitation or artificial construction,the maximum subsidence rate reached50 mm/yr,and the maximum cumulative subsidence exceeded 320 mm in the latest 5 years.In the saline mud flat closed to the rivers and lakes,the deformation trend was continuous uplift.Nevertheless,there were obvious seasonal deformation characteristics in those areas far away from the water body.Further analysis found out a sharply subsidence caused by the salt collapsibility appeared in rainy seasons.While an uplift trend induced by the salt swelling or frost heave was remarkable in dry seasons.Subsequently,the relationships were analyzed between the time series deformation and external environmental fac-tors.Furthermore,the deformation mechanism of saline soilin the Qarhan Salt Lake region was inter-preted then.In general,this study provides complete spatiotemporal evolution information of saline soil,and demonstrates the deformation characteristics of saline soil in the Qarhan Salt Lake region suc-cessfully.Related results would contribute to the safety monitoring for large-scale infrastructure con-struction in the saline soil areas. | Wei Xiang Rui Zhang Guoxiang Liu Xiaowen Wang Wenfei Mao Bo Zhang Jialun Cai Jiawen Bao Yin Fu | 2022 | Geodesy and Geodynamics2022,13,2: | 2 |

| 18 | Self-supported hierarchical porous Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12)/carbon arrays for boosted lithium ion storage显示文摘The development of fast rechargeable lithium ion batteries(LIBs)is highly dependent on the innovation of advanced high-power electrode materials.In this work,for the first time,we report a sacrificial NiO arrays template method for controllable synthesis of self-supported hierarchical porous Li_(4)Ti_(5)O_(12)/C(LTO/C)nanoflakes arrays,for use as fast rechargeable anodes for LIBs.The ultrathin(2-3 nm)carbon layer was uniformly coated on the LTO forming arrays architecture.The hierarchical porous LTO/C nanoflakes consisted of primary cross-linked nanoparticles of 50-100 nm and showed large porosity.Because of the enhanced electrical conductivity and accelerated ion transfer channels,the well-designed binderfree porous LTO/C nanoflakes arrays exhibited notable high-rate lithium ion storage performance with smaller polarization,better electrochemical reactivity,higher specific capacity(157 mAh g^(-1) at the current density of 20C)and improved long-term cycling life(96.2% after 6000 cycles at 20C),superior to the unmodified porous LTO arrays counterpart(126 mAh g^(-1) at 20C and 88.0%after 6000 cycles at 20C).Our work provides a new template for the construction of high-performance high-rate electrodes for electrochemical energy storage. | Jun Liu Aixiang Wei Guoxiang Pan Shenghui Shen Zhiming Xiao Yu Zhao Xinhui Xia | 2021 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,3: | 2 |

| 20 | E3 ligase FBXW7 aggravates TMPD-induced systemic lupus erythematosus by promoting cell apoptosis显示文摘Systemic lupus erythematosus(SLE)is a systemic autoimmune disease,and the pathogenesis of SLE has not been fully elucidated.The E3 ubiquitin ligase FBXW7 has been well characterized in cancer as a tumor suppressor that can promote the ubiquitination and subsequent degradation of various oncoproteins;however,the potential role of FBXW7 in autoimmune diseases is unclear.In the present study,we identified that FBXW7 is a crucial exacerbating factor for SLE development and progression in a mouse model induced by 2,6,10,14-tetramethylpentadecane(TMPD).Myeloid cell-specific FBXW7-deficient(Lysm+FBXW7f/f)C57BL/6 mice showed decreased immune complex accumulation,glomerulonephritis,glomerular mesangial cell proliferation,and basemembrane thickness in the kidney.Lysm+FBXW7f/f mice produced fewer anti-Sm/RNP and anti-ANA autoantibodies and showed a decreased MHC II expression in B cells.In Lysm+FBXW7f/f mice,we observed that cell apoptosis was reduced and that fewer CD11b+Ly6Chi inflammatory monocytes were recruited to the peritoneal cavity.Consistently,diffuse pulmonary hemorrhage(DPH)was also decreased in Lysm+FBXW7f/f mice.Mechanistically,we clarified that FBXW7 promoted TMPD-induced cell apoptosis by catalyzing MCL1 degradation through K48-linked ubiquitination.Our work revealed that FBXW7 expression in myeloid cells played a crucial role in TMPD-induced SLE progression in mice,which may provide novel ideas and theoretical support for understanding the pathogenesis of SLE. | Zhenlu Chong Chunjing Bao Jia He Tianxiao Chen Lijia Zhong Gaopeng Li Huanle Li Lutong Fang Yinjing Song Guoxiang Fu Xuyan Yang Lihua Lai Yang Liu Qingqing Wang | 2018 | Cellular & Molecular Immunology2018,15,12: | 2 |
