1Degree of coupling and coordination of eco-economic system and the influencing factors: a case study in Yanchi County, Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region, China显示文摘Based on the statistical data, we analyzed and evaluated the degree of coupling and coordination of the eco-economic system in Yanchi County for the period spanning from 1983 to 2014. The eco-economic system can be divided into socioeconomic and ecological sub-systems and their relationship can reveal the interaction state between the two sub-systems and help the local government to establish a coordinated development mode. An index system was constructed to assess the development of the two sub-systems before the evaluation of the degree of coupling and coordination. The principal component regression analysis was adopted to quantitatively assess the influences of natural, economic and social factors on the degree of coupling and coordination of the eco-economic system. Results showed that, from 1983 to 2014, the development trends of both sub-systems were increasing with the ecological sub-system having more fluctuations. The degree of coupling and coordination of the eco-economic system in the study area increased gradually from 1983 to 2014, but experienced five different development stages from the verge of disorder to favorable coordination. The development of the local social and economic conditions was the most important factor influencing the degree of coupling and coordination. The second most important factor was the financial support from the local government. In addition, the environment protection policies also played undeniable roles. 2Ultrahigh energy density and improved discharged efficiency in bismuth sodium titanate based relaxor ferroelectrics with A-site vacancy显示文摘Novel A-site deficient(1-x-y)Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3-x)BaTiO_(3-y)Bi_(0.2)Sr_(0.7)TiO_(3)lead-free relaxor ferroelectrics have been explored for energy storage property.Particularly slim polarization hysteresis(P-E)loops are observed in 0.655Bi_(0.5)Na_(0.5)TiO_(3)-0.065BaTiO_(3)-0.28Bi_(0.2)Sr_(0.7)□_(0.1)TiO_(3)(6.5BNBT-BST)at ambient temperature resulting in a giant recoverable energy density(W_(rec)=1.5 J cm^(-3))and extremely high efficiency(η=90%)at 100 kV cm^(-1),which are closed related to the track of P-E loops.As the addition of Bi_(0.2)Sr_(0.7)TiO_(3)(BST)content,the ergodic relaxor phase becomes dominant with dynamic polar nanoregions attributed to the absence of ferroelectric domain in the relaxor phase.Furthermore,the recoverable energy density exhibits small variation in elevated temperature where the depressed polarization is compensated by almost hysteresis free loops(ηup to 97%).The achievement of these characteristics in P-E loops provides that Bi_(0.2)Sr_(0.7)TiO_(3)tailoring by A-site vacancies is a potential route when designing new relaxor ferroelectrics for energy-storage applications.Xiao Liu Jing Shi Fangyuan Zhu Huiling Du Tangyuan Li Xiangchun Liu Hai Lu 2018Journal of Materiomics2018,4,3:3
3Needling at the Waiguan (SJ5) in healthy limbs deactivated functional brain areas in ischemic stroke patients A functional magnetic resonance imaging study显示文摘Deactivation is common in cerebral functional imaging. However, the physiological mechanisms responsible for this phenomenon remain poorly understood. The present study analyzed 12 ischemic stroke patients, who were randomly assigned to two groups: one group underwent sham needling and true needling at the Waiguan (SJ 5) in the healthy upper limb and the other group underwent sham and true needling at a sham point. Functional magnetic resonance imaging results showed no activation points in brain tissues following needling at SJ 5. However, compared with sham needling at SJ 5, true needling at SJ 5 deactivated Broadmann 4, 6, 24, and 32 areas. In addition, compared to needling at the sham point, true needling at SJ 5 deactivated bilateral hypothalamus. 4Designing heterostructured FeP–CoP for oxygen evolution reaction:Interface engineering to enhance electrocatalytic performance显示文摘It is significant to develop highly efficient electrocatalysts for energy conversion systems.Interface engineering is one of the most feasible approaches to effectively enhance the electrocatalytic activity.Herein,the density functional theory(DFT)calculations predict that the potential barriers of Fe sites at the interface of FeP–CoP heterostructures are lower than that of Fe sites in FeP nanoparticles(NPs),Co sites in CoP NPs,or Co sites in heterostructures.Motivated by the DFT calculation results,FeP–CoP heterostructures have been designed and synthesized by a metal–organic frameworks(MOFs)confined-phosphorization method.The FeP–CoP exhibits the lowest overpotential of 230 mV at the current density of 10 mA·cm^(−2)for oxygen evolution reaction(OER),compared with FeP(470 mV)and CoP(340 mV),which outperforms most of transition metal-based catalysts.The Tafel analysis of FeP–CoP heterostructures shows an improved reaction kinetic pathway with the smallest slope of 90.3 mV·dec^(−1),as compared to the Tafel slopes of FeP NPs(137 mV·dec^(−1))and CoP NPs(114 mV·dec^(−1)).And the FeP–CoP shows extraordinary long-term stability over 24 h.The excellent activity and long-term stability of FeP–CoP derive from the synergistic effect between FeP and CoP.Shuang Hou Ansai Zhang Qi Zhou Yingjie Wen Sixie Zhang Linfeng Su Xinjie Huang Tian Wang Kun Rui Cheng Wang Huiling Liu Zhiyi Lu Peilei He 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:2

6Perceptions of climate change in China:The research and policy connection显示文摘Global climate change has evolved from a scientific problem into an economic and political problem of worldwide interest.National perspectives play a crucial role in addressing climate change.Mutual understanding of perspectives is necessary to result in rational policies and a consensus among stakeholders with divergent interests.Conceptual frameworks for understanding the problem of climate change in China,the largest developing country and the largest greenhouse gas emitter,are of great significance to national and international efforts to address the problems of climate change.Chinese perceptions of climate change as a sustainable development problem have recently been in tension with an emerging Western perspective that frames climate change as a security issue.This paper explores Chinese perceptions of climate change as expressed in recent governmental policy statements,public opinion surveys,and academic scholarship with a focus on publications in Chinese-language journals,often unfamiliar in the West.It looks at the relationship between Chinese research and policy and finds that the Chinese policy frame of climate change as a sustainable development problem draws from the body of domestic research and is reflective of the perspectives and multidisciplinary approach of Chinese researchers in areas of climate change.LiHua Zhou J. 10Effect of Ultra-high Pressure Treatment on the Quality of Persimmon Pulp显示文摘Different pressures and different durations of ultra-high pressure treatment were conducted for persimmon pulp after vacuum packing.The results showed that with the increase of pressure and extension of duration,the total number of bacteria in persimmon pulp decreased gradually.The treatment at 400 MPa for 15 min could meet the requirement of commercial sterility.After treatment,the color and the contents of soluble sugar,soluble solids and titratable acid of persimmon pulp were not changed significantly compared with the control group(P >0.05).The content of vitamin C in persimmon pulp declined gradually with the increase in pressure and time,with the maximum loss of 8.06% observed at 600 MPa for 20 min.Peroxidase( POD) activity also declined gradually with the increase of pressure and time.The activity of polyphenol oxidase( PPO) declined gradually with the increase of time,and increased first and then decreased with the increase of pressure.The content of polyphenols increased first and then decreased with the increase in pressure,and tended to increase overall with the increase in time.Under the treatment of 400 MPa for 20 min,the content of polyphenols reached the maximum.The antioxidant capacity of persimmon pulp after ultra-high pressure treatment was higher than that in the control group,but no significant differences were found among the treatment groups( P > 0.05).Compared with the control group,soluble tannin content was increased after ultra-high pressure treatment,but was far below the critical value for astringency(2 mg/g).In conclusion,ultra-high pressure treatment has only a slight effect on the sensory quality of persimmon pulp and can maintain its nutritional quality to a large extent and improve its antioxidant capacity.Moreover,ultra-high pressure treatment can eliminate astringency completely.Zhihong LIANG Xiaoping LI Huiling RU Yingzhong LU 2018Asian Agricultural Research2018,10,7:1
11Effect of cooling rate on evolution of superconducting phases during decomposition and recrystallization of (Bi,Pb)-2223 core in Ag-sheathed tape显示文摘The reformation of (Bi,Pb)-2223 from the liquid or melt is very important for a melting process of (Bi,Pb)-2223 tape. By combination of quenching experiment with X-ray diffraction (XRD) analysis, the effect of cooling rate on the evolution of three superconducting phases in the (Bi,Pb)-2223 core of Ag-sheathed tape was investigated. The results show that (Bi,Pb)-2223 reformation from the melt seems to experience different routes during slowly cooling at different rates. One is that (Bi,Pb)-2223 phase reformed directly from the melt, and no Bi-2212 participate in this process. The other is that (Bi,Pb)-2223 is converted from the intermediate product, Bi-2212, which formed from the melt during the first cooling stage. 15A multichannel neural signal detecting module:Its design and test in animal experiments显示文摘A four-channel neural signal detecting module with an implantable 12-contact cuff electrode was designed for real-time neural signal recording on peripheral and central nerves. The mathematic coupling model between nerve and electronic system was analyzed. Electrode connection configurations were considered. The detecting circuit included an input coupling network, a pre-amplifier, and some filtering and notching stages. Shield guarding and the right-leg-driven circuit were developed for further elimination of common mode interference. By electrode switches, the module could cooperate with a nerve functional electrical stimulation circuit, building a neural channel bridge-connection system. It was tested by recording experiments on rat’s sciatic and spine nerves. The signals in spontaneous and evoked conditions have been captured successfully. 17Honeycomb-Like Hydrogel Microspheres for 3D Bulk Construction of Tumor Models显示文摘A two-dimensional(2D)cell culture-based model is widely applied to study tumorigenic mechanisms and drug screening.However,it cannot authentically simulate the threedimensional(3D)microenvironment of solid tumors and provide reliable and predictable data in response to in vivo,thus leading to the research ilusionis and failure of drug screening.In this study,honeycomb-like gelatin methacryloyl(GelMA)hydrogel microspheres are developed by synchronous photocrosslinking microluidic technique to construct a 3D model of osteosarcoma.The in vitro study shows that ostcosarcoma cells(K7M2)culured in 3D GelMA microspheres have stronger tumorous stemness。proliferation and migration abilitics,more osteoclastogenetic ability,and reistance to chemotherapeutic drugs(DOX)than that of cells in 2D cultures.More imporantly,the 3D-cultured K7M2 cells show more tumorigenicity in immunologically sound mice,characterized by shorter tumorigenesis time,larger tumor volumc,severe bone destruction,and higher mortality.In conclusion,honeycomb like porous microsphere scaffolds are constructed with uniform structure by micofluidic technology to massively produce tumor cells with original phenotypes.Those microspheres could recapitulate the physiology microenvironment of tumors.maintain ell-cell and cell-extracellular matrix interactions,and thus provide an efective and convenient strategy for tumor pathogenesis and drug screening research.Jiachen He Chichi Chen Liang Chen Ruoyu Cheng Jie Sun Xingzhi Liu Lin Wang Can Zhu Sihan Hu Yuan Xue Jian Lu Huiling Yang Wenguo Cui Qin Shi 2022Research2022,,2:1

19Sequentially responsive size reduction and drug release of core-satellite nanoparticles to enhance tumor penetration and effective tumor suppression显示文摘Poor tumor accumulation remains a serious challenge for nanomedicines to achieve ideal antitumor outcomes.The different size preferences for systematic circulation,tumor retention and deep permeation have attracted great attention when designing antineoplastic nano-delivery system.Herein,we developed a nano-system which can shrink its size in tumor microenvironment to achieve better tumor retention and penetration.In this work,the cationic bovine serum albumin-protected,doxorubicin-loaded gold nanoclusters(CAuNC-DOX)and amino-functionalized mesoporous silica nanoparticles(MSN)are connected by Fe^(2+)and are further coated with hyaluronic acid(HA)to obtain a core-satellite MSN-Fe-CAuNCDOX@HA nano system(MFADH).When reaching the tumor site,the HA shell,which endows the system with both good biocompatibility and preferable tumor targeting ability,was disintegrated,followed by acid-stimulated release of small-sized pharmacological unit—CAuNC-DOX for further tumor penetration.As demonstrated in both in vitro and in vivo results,MFADH showed excellent antitumor effect,providing a proof of concept for the feasibility of shrinkable nanoplatforms in tumor treatment.Jiayi Sun Jingyang Li Xi Li Lu Yang Yitong Liu Huile Gao Li Xiang 2023Chinese Chemical Letters2023,34,5:0
20Numerical simulation of cavitating flow around a slender body with slip boundary condition显示文摘In this paper, we perform a numerical simulation of the cavitating flow around an underwater hemispherical-head slender body running at a high speed. For the first time, the slip boundary condition is introduced into this problem, and we find that the slip boundary condition has a big influence on the cavitation in the flow-separation zone. By simulating the cavitating flow under different cavitation numbers, we demonstrate that the slip boundary condition can effectively reduce the intensity of cavitation, as represented by the length of cavitation bubbles.
