1Durability of neutralizing antibodies and T-cell response post SARS-CoV-2 infection显示文摘The ongoing pandemic of coronavirus disease 19(COVID-19)is caused by a newly discoveredβcoronavirus named severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).How long the adaptive immunity triggered by SARS-CoV-2 can last is of critical clinical relevance in assessing the probability of second infection and efficacy of vaccination.Here we examined,using ELISA,the IgG antibodies in serum specimens collected from 17 COVID-19 patients at 6–7 months after diagnosis and the results were compared to those from cases investigated 2 weeks to 2 months post-infection.All samples were positive for IgGs against the S-and N-proteins of SARS-CoV-2.Notably,14 samples available at 6–7 months post-infection all showed significant neutralizing activities in a pseudovirus assay,with no difference in blocking the cell-entry of the 614D and 614G variants of SARS-CoV-2.Furthermore,in 10 blood samples from cases at 6–7 months post-infection used for memory T-cell tests,we found that interferonγ-producing CD4+and CD8+cells were increased upon SARS-CoV-2 antigen stimulation.Together,these results indicate that durable anti-SARS-CoV-2 immunity is common in convalescent population,and vaccines developed from 614D variant may offer protection from the currently predominant 614D variant of SARS-CoV-2.Yun Tan Feng Liu Xiaoguang Xu Yun Ling Weijin Huang Zhaoqin Zhu Mingquan Guo Yixiao Lin Ziyu Fu Dongguo Liang Tengfei Zhang Jian Fan Miao Xu Hongzhou Lu Saijuan Chen 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,6:6
2Scoping review update on somatic symptom disorder that includes additional Chinese data显示文摘Somatic symptom disorder(SSD)is a new diagnosis introduced into the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders,Fifth Edition(DSM-5),which is expected to solve the diagnostic difficulties of patients with medically unexplained symptoms.Based on the previous work,this review aims to comprehensively synthesise updated evidence related to SSD from recent years in English publications and,more extensively,from data published in Chinese language journals.The scoping review update was based on an earlier scoping review and included Chinese language publication data from China National Knowledge Internet(CNKI),WANFANG and WEIPU between January 2013 and May 2022 and data from PubMed,PsyclNFO,and Cochrane Library between June 2020 and May 2022.Initially,2984 articles were identified,of which 63 full texts were included for analysis.In China,SSD is mainly applied in scientific research,but it also shows good predictive validity and clinical application potential.The mean frequency of SSD was 4.5%in the general population,25.2%in the primary care population and 33.5%in diverse specialised care settings.Biological factors,such as brain region changes and heart rate variability,are associated with the onset of sSD.Psychological impairment related to somatic symptoms is the best predictor of prognosis.While adolescent SSD is significantly associated with family function,SSD overall is associated with an increased dysfunction of cognition and emotion,decreased quality of life,and high comorbidity with anxiety and depressive disorders.Further research is needed on suicide risk and cultural and gender-related issues.Updating the data of Chinese language studies,our research enriches the evidence-based findings related to the topics addressed in the text sections of the SSD chapter of DSM-5.However,research gaps remain about SSD reliability,population-based prevalence,suicide risk,and cultural and gender-related issues.Heng Wu Ayinuer Manglike Yixiao Chen Ziming Liu Kurt Fritzsche Zheng Lu 2023General Psychiatry2023,36,3:1
3Characterizing the spatiotemporal variations of evapotranspiration and aridity index in mid-western China from 2001 to 2016显示文摘Mid-western China is one of the most sensitive and fragile areas on the Earth.Evapotranspiration(ET)is a key part of hydrological cycle in these areas and is affected by both global climate change and human activities.The dynamic changes in ET and potential evapotranspiration(PET),which can reflect water consumption and demand,are still unclear,and there is a lack of predictive capacity on drought severity.In this study,we used global MODIS(moderate-resolution imaging spectroradiometer)terrestrial ET(MOD16)products,Morlet wavelet analysis,and simple linear regression to investigate the spatiotemporal variations of ET,PET,reference ET(ET0),and aridity index(AI)in mid-western pastoral regions of China(including Gansu Province,Qinghai Province,Ningxia Hui Autonomous Region,and part of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region)from 2001 to 2016.The results showed that the overall ET gradually increased from east to southwest in the study area.Actual ET showed an increasing trend,whereas PET tended to decrease from 2001 to 2016.The change in ET was affected by vegetation types.During the study period,the average annual ET0 and AI tended to decrease.At the monthly scale within a year,AI value decreased from January to July and then increased.The interannual variations of ET0 and AI showed periodicity with a main period of 14 a,and two other periodicities of 11 and 5 a.This study showed that in recent years,drought in these pastoral regions of mid-western China has been alleviated.Therefore,it is foreseeable that the demand for irrigation water for agricultural production in these regions will decrease.MU Le LU Yixiao LIU Minguo YANG Huimin FENG Qisheng 2021Journal of Arid Land2021,13,12:1
4Engineering Pt heterogeneous catalysts for accelerated liquid–solid redox conversion in Li-S batteries显示文摘The shuttle effect caused by soluble lithium polysulfides (LiPSs) deteriorates multiphase transformation reaction kinetics of sulfur species,and gives rise to an unserviceable lithium-sulfur (Li-S) battery.Catalysis,as a process optimization approach,offers an option to eliminate the intrinsic issues.However,exploring and understanding the role of catalysts on electrode reaction remains critical bottlenecks,particularly as they are prone to continuous evolution under complex dynamic environment.Herein,platinum nanoparticles loaded on MXene nanosheets,as sulfur host,and the action of catalysts on the reaction process are investigated via ex-situ monitors upon solid–liquid–solid chemical transformation of sulfur species.These traces confirm that the high performance originates from electron transfer between catalysts and LiPSs,which lowers the nucleation barrier from liquid LiPSs to solid Li_(2)S/Li_(2)S_(2).Further,the accelerated liquid–solid conversion can alleviate the accumulation of LiPSs,and boost the reaction kinetics in Li-S batteries.The findings corroborate the electronic modulation between catalysts and LiPSs,which is a generalizable strategy to optimize energy conversion efficiency of Li-S batteries.Qinhua Gu Yujie Qi Wuxing Hua Tongxin Shang Junnan Chen Luozhen Jiang Lina Li Ming Lu Yixiao Zhang Xi Liu Ying Wan Bingsen Zhang 2022Journal of Energy Chemistry2022,31,6:1
5COVID-19 vaccination intention and vaccine characteristics infuencing vaccination acceptance: a global survey of 17 countries显示文摘Background:The availability of various types of COVID-19 vaccines and diverse characteristics of the vaccines pre‑sent a dilemma in vaccination choices,which may result in individuals refusing a particular COVID-19 vaccine ofered,hence presenting a threat to immunisation coverage and reaching herd immunity.The study aimed to assess global COVID-19 vaccination intention,vaccine characteristics infuencing vaccination acceptance and desirable vaccine characteristics infuencing the choice of vaccines.Methods:An anonymous cross-sectional survey was conducted between 4 January and 5 March 2021 in 17 coun‑tries worldwide.Proportions and the corresponding 95%confdence intervals(CI)of COVID-19 vaccine acceptance and vaccine characteristics infuencing vaccination acceptance were generated and compared across countries and regions.Multivariable logistic regression analysis was used to determine the factors associated with COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy.Results:Of the 19,714 responses received,90.4%(95%CI 81.8–95.3)reported likely or extremely likely to receive COVID-19 vaccine.A high proportion of likely or extremely likely to receive the COVID-19 vaccine was reported in Australia(96.4%),China(95.3%)and Norway(95.3%),while a high proportion reported being unlikely or extremely unlikely to receive the vaccine in Japan(34.6%),the U.S.(29.4%)and Iran(27.9%).Males,those with a lower educational level and those of older age expressed a higher level of COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy.Less than two-thirds(59.7%;95%CI 58.4–61.0)reported only being willing to accept a vaccine with an efectiveness of more than 90%,and 74.5%(95%CI 73.4–75.5)said they would accept a COVID-19 vaccine with minor adverse reactions.A total of 21.0%(95%CI 20.0–22.0)reported not accepting an mRNA vaccine and 51.8%(95%CI 50.3–53.1)reported that they would only accept a COVID-19 vaccine from a specifc country‐of‐origin.Countries from the Southeast Asia region reported the highest proportion of not accepting mRNA technology.The highest proportion from Europe and the Americas would only accept a vaccine produced by certain countries.The foremost important vaccine characteristic infuencing vaccine choice is adverse reactions(40.6%;95%CI 39.3–41.9)of a vaccine and efectiveness threshold(35.1%;95%CI 33.9–36.4).Conclusions:The inter-regional and individual country disparities in COVID-19 vaccine hesitancy highlight the importance of designing an efcient plan for the delivery of interventions dynamically tailored to the local population.Li Ping Wong Haridah Alias Mahmoud Danaee Jamil Ahmed Abhishek Lachyan Carla Zi Cai Yulan Lin Zhijian Hu Si Ying Tan Yixiao Lu Guoxi Cai Di Khanh Nguyen Farhana Nishat Seheli Fatma Alhammadi Milkar D.Madhale Muditha Atapattu Tasmi Quazi‑Bodhanya Samira Mohajer Gregory D.Zimet Qinjian Zhao 2021Infectious Diseases of Poverty2021,10,5:0
6Atomic-resolution characterization on the structure of strontium doped barium titanate nanoparticles显示文摘Ferroelectric barium titanate nanoparticles(BTO NPs)may play critical roles in miniaturized passive electronic devices such as multi-layered ceramic capacitors.While increasing experimental and theoretical understandings on the structure of BTO and doped BTO have been developed over the past decade,the majority of the investigation was carried out in thin-film materials;therefore,the doping effect on nanoparticles remains unclear.Especially,doping-induced local composition and structure fluctuation across single nanoparticles have yet to be unveiled.In this work,we use electron microscopy-based techniques including high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy(HAADF-STEM),integrated differential phase contrast(iDPC)-STEM,and energy dispersive X-ray spectroscopy(EDX)mapping to reveal atomically resolved chemical and crystal structure of BTO and strontium doped BTO nanoparticles.Powder X-ray diffraction(PXRD)results indicate that the increasing strontium doping causes a structural transition from tetragonal to cubic phase,but the microscopic data validate substantial compositional and microstructural inhomogeneities in strontium doped BTO nanoparticles.Our work provides new insights into the structure of doped BTO NPs and will facilitate the materials design for next-generation high-density nano-dielectric devices.Haoyu Jiang Jizhen Qi Dongchang Wu Wei Lu Jiahui Qian Haifeng Qu Yixiao Zhang Pei Liu Xi Liu Liwei Chen 2021Nano Research2021,14,12:0
7Effects of asthma on stability of Wisconsin card sorting test measures A twin study显示文摘BACKGROUND: The four measures used to assess the stability of the Wisconsin card sorting test (WCST), that is, the number of preservative errors, percentage of preservative errors, number of categories completed, and the number of trials to complete the first category, reflect the function of the frontal lobe. OBJECTIVE: This study was designed to investigate the effects of asthma on the stability of WCST measurements through the use of a twin study, and to analyze whether egg-type difference exists. DESIGN: A cohort study. SETTING: Mental Health Center, the First Affiliated Hospital of Chongqing Medical University. PARTICIPANTS: Fifty-nine pairs of twins, aged 6–16 years, were primarily selected from schools between August 2005 and February 2007 and the WCST and Zygosity identification test was applied. Twins with achromatopsia, severe upper limb diseases, somatic diseases, or mental disorders were excluded. According to disease history of asthmatic attack, children were assigned into asthma (n = 16) and non-asthma (n = 43) groups. METHODS: Four WCST measurements were determined in the 59 pairs of twins, and egg-type differences were identified in conjunction. RESULTS: All 59 pairs of twins were included in the final analysis. Among the pairs of twins, 28 (48.5 %) were monozygotic twins, and 31 (52%) were dizygotic twins. Among the monozygotic and dizygotic twins, the number of preservative errors and percentage of preservative errors were significantly higher in the asthma group than in the non-asthma group (P < 0.05). However, there was no significant difference of each corresponding measure between the monozygotic and dizygotic twins (P > 0.05). 8Enhancing the performances of all-small-molecule ternary organic solar cells via achieving optimized morphology and 3D charge pathways显示文摘With the emergence of non-fullerene acceptors(NFAs),the power conversion efficiencies(PCEs)of allsmall-molecule organic solar cells(ASM-OSCs)have been significantly improved.However,due to the strong crystallinities of small molecules,it is much more challenging to obtain the ideal phase separation morphology and efficient charge transport pathways for ASM-OSCs.Here,a high-efficiency ternary ASMOSC has been successfully constructed based on H11/IDIC-4 F system by introduction of IDIC with a similar backbone as IDIC-4F but weak crystallinity.Notably,the addition of IDIC has effectively suppressed large-scale phase aggregation and optimized the morphology of the blend film.More importantly,the molecular orientation has also been significantly adjusted,and a mixed face-on and edge-on orientation has formed,thus establishing a more favorable three-dimensional(3D)charge pathways in the active layer.With these improvements,the enhanced short-circuit current density(JSC)and fill factor(FF)of the ternary system have been achieved.In addition,because of the high lowest unoccupied molecular orbital(LUMO)energy level of IDIC as well as the alloyed structure of the IDIC and IDIC-4F,the promoted open circuit voltage(VOC)of the ternary system has also been realized.Yanhong Chang Jing Li Yilin Chang Yixiao Zhang Jianqi Zhang Kun Lu Xiangnan Sun Zhixiang Wei 2021Chinese Chemical Letters2021,32,9:0

10Histidine-rich glycoprotein (HRGP):Pleiotropic and paradoxical effects on macrophage,tumor microenvironment,angiogenesis,and other physiological and pathological processes显示文摘Histidine-rich glycoprotein(HRGP)is a relatively less known glycoprotein,but it is abundant in plasma with a multidomain structure,which allows it to interact with many ligands and regulate various biological processes.HRGP ligands includes heme,Zn^(2+),thrombospondin,plasmin/plasminogen,heparin/heparan sulfate,fibrinogen,tropomyosin,IgG,FcγR,C1q.In many conditions,the histidine-rich region of HRGP strengthens ligand binding following interaction with Zn^(2+)or exposure to low pH,such as sites of tissue injury or tumor growth.The multidomain structure and diverse ligand binding attributes of HRGP indicates that it can act as an extracellular adaptor protein,connecting with different ligands,especially on cell surfaces.Also,HRGP can selectively target IgG,which blocks the production of soluble immune complexes.The most common cell surface ligand of HRGP is heparan sulfate proteoglycan,and the interaction is also potentiated by elevated Zn^(2+)concentration and low pH.Recent reports have shown that HRGP can modulate macrophage polarization and possibly regulate other physiological processes such as angiogenesis,anti-tumor immune response,fibrinolysis and coagulation,soluble immune complex clearance and phagocytosis of apoptotic/necrosis cells.In addition,it has also been reported that HRGP has antibacterial and anti-HIV infection effects and may be used as a novel clinical biomarker accordingly.This review outlines the molecular,structural and biological properties of HRGP as well as presenting an update on the function of HRGP in various physiological processes.Yixiao Pan Lu Deng Hai Wang Kang He Qiang Xia 2022Genes & Diseases2022,9,2:0
11Double Z-Scheme g-C_(3)N_(4)/BiOI/CdS heterojunction with I_(3)^(-)/I^(-) pairs for enhanced visible light photocatalytic performance显示文摘The g-C_(3)N_(4)/BiOI/CdS double Z-scheme heterojunction photocatalyst with I_(3)^(-)/I^(-) redox pairs is prepared using simple calcination,solvothermal,and solution chemical deposition methods.The photocatalyst comprised mesoporous,thin g-C_(3)N_(4) nanosheets loaded on flower-like microspheres of BiOI with CdS quantum dots.The g-C_(3)N_(4)/BiOI/CdS double Z-scheme heterojunction has abundant active sites and in situ redox I_(3)^(-)/I^(-) mediators and shows quantum size effects,which are all conducive to enhancing the separation of photoinduced charges and increasing the photocatalytic degradation efficiency for bisphenol A,a model pollutant.Specifically,the heterojunction photocatalyst achieves a photocatalytic degradation efficiency for bisphenol A of 98.62%in 120 min and photocatalytic hydrogen production of 863.44 mmol h^(-1) g^(-1) on exposure to visible light.The excellent visible-light photocatalytic performance is as a result of the Z-scheme heterojunction,which extends absorption to the visible light region,as well as the I_(3)^(-)/I^(-) pairs,which accelerate photoinduced charge carrier transfer and separation,thus dramatically boosting the photocatalytic performance.In addition,the key role of the charge transfer across the indirect Z-scheme heterojunction has been elucidated and the transfer mechanism is confirmed based on the detection of intermediate I_(3)^(-)ions.Thus,this study provides guidelines for the design of indirect Z-scheme heterojunction photocatalysts.Yan Zhang Yixiao Wu Liang Wan Wenfeng Yang Huijun Ding Chongyang Lu Weihao Zhang Zipeng Xing 2022Green Energy & Environment2022,7,6:0
