1Crop positioning for robotic intra-row weeding based on machine vision显示文摘A machine-vision-based method of locating crops is described in this research.This method was used to provide real-time positional information of crop plants for a mechanical intra-row weeding robot.Within the normalized red,green,and blue chromatic coordinates(rgb),a modified excess green feature(g-r>T&g-b>T)was used to segment plant material from back ground in color images.The threshold T was automatically selected by the maximum variance(OTSU)algorithm to cope with variable natural light.Taking into account the geometry of the camera arrangement and the crop row spacing,the target regions covering the crop rows were defined based on a pinhole camera model.According to the statistical variation in the pixel histogram in each target region,locations of the crop plants were initially estimated.To obtain the accurate locations of crops,median filtering was conducted locally in the bounding boxes of the crops close to the bottom of the images.For the lateral guidance of the robot,a novel method of calculating lateral offset was proposed based on a simplified match between a template and the detected crops.Field experiments were conducted under three different illumination conditions.The results showed that the accurate identification rates on lettuce,cauliflower and maize were all above 95%.The positional error as within±15 mm,and the average processing time for a 640×480 image was 31 ms.The method was adequate to meet the technical requirement of the weeding robot,and laid a foundation for robotic weeding in commercial production system.Li Nan Zhang Chunlong Chen Ziwen Ma Zenghong Sun Zhe Yuan Ting Li Wei Zhang Junxiong 2015International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2015,8,6:4
2Electrospun carbon nanofibers for lithium metal anodes:Progress and perspectives显示文摘Li metal anodes(LMAs)has attracted extensive research interest because of its extremely high theoretical capacity(3860 m Ah/g)at low redox potential(-3.04 V vs.standard hydrogen electrode).However,the extremely high chemical reactivity and the intrinsic“hostless”nature of LMAs bring about serious dendritic growth and dramatic volume change during the plating/strapping process,thus resulting in poor Coulombic efficiency,short lifespan,and severe safety concerns.Of various strategies,the construction of three-dimensional carbonaceous scaffolds for LMAs can substantially reduce the local current density,inhibit Li dendrite growth,and accommodate volume variation.Electrospinning is a simple yet effective strategy to fabricate carbon nanofibers(CNFs),which have been regarded as promising skeletons for LMAs,owing to their large surface areas,good electrical conductivity,and high porosity.In this Mini Review,we briefly introduce the fabrication of CNFs using electrospinning and the modification of CNFs.We highlight the recent advances in electrospun CNF skeletons for LMAs,including pure CNF and CNF-based composite scaffolds.Finally,we discuss the remaining challenges of electrospun CNF scaffolds for LMAs and provide possible solutions to push forward the advancement in this field.Hongyang Chen Manxian Li Chuanping Li Xuan Li Yaling Wu Xiaochuan Chen Junxiong Wu Xiaoyan Li Yuming Chen 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,1:3
3Privacy Protection Based Access Control Scheme in Cloud-Based Services显示文摘With the rapid development of computer technology, cloud-based services have become a hot topic. They not only provide users with convenience, but also bring many security issues, such as data sharing and privacy issue. In this paper, we present an access control system with privilege separation based on privacy protection(PS-ACS). In the PS-ACS scheme, we divide users into private domain(PRD) and public domain(PUD) logically. In PRD, to achieve read access permission and write access permission, we adopt the Key-Aggregate Encryption(KAE) and the Improved Attribute-based Signature(IABS) respectively. In PUD, we construct a new multi-authority ciphertext policy attribute-based encryption(CP-ABE) scheme with efficient decryption to avoid the issues of single point of failure and complicated key distribution, and design an efficient attribute revocation method for it. 4Polyimide separators for rechargeable batteries显示文摘Separators are indispensable components of modern electrochemical energy storage devices such as lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).They perform the critical function of physically separating the electrodes to prevent short-circuits while permitting the ions to pass through.While conventional separators using polypropylene(PP) and polyethylene(PE) are prone to shrinkage and melting at relatively high temperatures(150℃ or above) causing short circuits and thermal runaway,separators made of thermally stable polyimides(PIs) are electrochemically stable and resistant to high temperatures,and possess good mechanical strength-making them a promising solution to the safety concerns of LIBs.In this review,the research progress on PI separators for use in LIBs is summarized with a special focus on molecular design and microstructural control.In view of the significant progress in advanced chemistries beyond LIBs,recent advances in PI-based membranes for applications in lithium-sulfur,lithium-metal,and solid-state batteries are also reviewed.Finally,practical issues are also discussed along with their prospects.Ziheng Lu Fan Sui Yue-E Miao Guohua Liu Cheng Li Wei Dong Jiang Cui Tianxi Liu Junxiong Wu Chunlei Yang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:3
5Feature extraction of jujube fruit wrinkle based on the watershed segmentation显示文摘The degree of surface wrinkles on a dried jujube fruit(Ziziphus jujuba Mill.)is an important quality grading criterion.The aim of this research was to propose an image processing method based on the watershed segmentation to extract the wrinkle features of jujube fruits.Original images of jujube fruit taken under cyan light were transformed into grayscale images.The noise in these images was then removed by morphological reconstruction.The H-minima extended transformation was used to label the foreground of jujube fruit images after reconstruction,and the labeled foreground regions were segmented by a distance transform-based watershed algorithm.Then,the grayscale images were filtered with a local range filter.The segmentation function was obtained using the minima imposition method.Finally,a watershed segmentation was used to extract the wrinkle features of jujube fruits.Experiments on 304 images of jujube fruit showed that the accuracy of wrinkle-based grading obtained by the algorithm was 92.11%,which proved that this method could be used to classify jujube wrinkles.Zhang Junxiong Ma Qingqing Li Wei Xiao Tingting 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,4:2
6Sodium-rich NASICON-structured cathodes for boosting the energy density and lifespan of sodium-free-anode sodium metal batteries显示文摘Rechargeable sodium metal batteries(SMBs)have emerged as promising alternatives to commercial Li-ion batteries because of the natural abundance and low cost of sodium resources.However,the overuse of metallic sodium in conventional SMBs limits their energy densities and leads to severe safety concerns.Herein,we propose a sodium-free-anode SMB(SFA-SMB)configuration consisting of a sodium-rich Na superionic conductor-structured cathode and a bare Al/C current collector to address the above challenges.Sodiated Na_(3)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)in the form of Na_(5)V_(2)(PO_(4))_(3)was investigated as a cathode to provide a stable and controllable sodium source in the SFA-SMB.It provides not only remarkable Coulombic efficiencies of Na plating/stripping cycles but also a highly reversible three-electron redox reaction within 1.0–3.8 V versus Na/Na+confirmed by structural/electrochemical measurements.Consequently,an ultrahigh energy density of 400 Wh kg^(-1)was achieved for the SFA-SMB with fast Na storage kinetics and impressive capacity retention of 93%after 130 cycles.A narrowed voltage window(3.0–3.8 V vs.Na/Na+)further increased the lifespan to over 300 cycles with a high retained specific energy of 320 Wh kg^(-1).Therefore,the proposed SFA-SMB configuration opens a new avenue for fabricating next-generation batteries with high energy densities and long lifetimes.Junxiong Wu Cong Lin Qinghua Liang Guodong Zhou Jiapeng Liu Gemeng Liang Man Wang Baohua Li Liang Hu Francesco Ciucci Qiang Liu Guohua Chen Xiaoliang Yu 2022InfoMat2022,4,4:2
7Electrospinning Engineering Enables High‑Performance Sodium‑Ion Batteries显示文摘As a promising energy storage device,sodium-ion batteries(SIBs)have received continuous attention due to their low-cost and environmental friendliness.However,the sluggish kinetics of Na ion usually makes SIBs hard to realize desirable electrochemical performance when compared to lithium-ion batteries(LIBs).The key to addressing this issue is to build up nanostructured materials which enable fast Na-ion insertion/extraction.One-dimensional(1D)nanocarbons have been considered as both the anode and the matrix to support active materials for SIB electrodes owing to their high electronic conductivity and excellent mechanical property.Because of their large surface areas and short ion/electron difusion path,the synthesized electrodes can show good rate performance and cyclic stability during the charge/discharge processes.Electrospinning is a simple synthetic technology,featuring inexpensiveness,easy operation and scalable production,and has been largely used to fabricate 1D nanostructured composites.In this review,we frst give a simple description of the electrospinning principle and its capability to construct desired nanostructures with diferent compositions.Then,we discuss recent developments of carbon-based hybrids with desired structural and compositional characteristics as the electrodes by electrospinning engineering for SIBs.Finally,we identify future research directions to realize more breakthroughs on electrospun electrodes for SIBs.Chuanping Li Min Qiu Ruiling Li Xuan Li Manxi Wang Jiabo He Ganggang Lin Liren Xiao Qingrong Qian Qinghua Chen Junxiong Wu Xiaoyan Li Yiu‑Wing Mai Yuming Chen 2022Advanced Fiber Materials2022,4,1:1

13Enhanced-performance self-powered photodetector based on multi-layer MoS_(2) sandwiched between two asymmetric graphene contacts显示文摘Self-powered photodetectors can convert light into electrical signals without external power input and are widely used in applications such as imaging,sensing,communication,and security.The most popular approach for constructing a self-powered photodetector is typically based on the fabrication of an asymmetric metal-semiconductor(MS)contact;however,this technique is seriously limited by the Fermi-level pinning effect.Here,we report a room-temperature photodetector based on multi-layer MoS_(2) sandwiched between two separated asymmetric graphene contacts.Our photodetector was driven by the built-in electric field generated by a van der Waals(vd W)contact instead of the traditional MS contact.Operating under zero-bias voltage,the highest photoresponsivity of 0.63 AW^(-1) and a specific detectivity of 7.71×10^(12) Jones were achieved at a wavelength of 450 nm with 0.08μW cm^(-2) incident power intensity.Compared with devices using symmetric contacts,a high ON/OFF current ratio of approximately 1520 and a fast response time on the order of microseconds were also observed in our asymmetric graphene contact device.Our experimental results may open a novel way toward the realization of vd W contacts for the fabrication of selfpowered photodetectors.GUO JunXiong LI ShangDong LIN Lin CAI Ji CHEN JianBo WANG ShiCai GOU Xin YE JingHua LUO ZhengHua HUANG Wen 2022Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,11:1
14Ferroelectric-controlled graphene plasmonic surfaces for all-optical neuromorphic vision显示文摘Artificial visual systems can recognize desired objects and information from complex environments, and are therefore highly desired for pattern recognition, object detection, and imaging applications. However, state-of-the-art artificial visual systems with high recognition performances that typically consist of electronic devices face the challenges of requiring huge storage space and high power consumption owing to redundant data. Here, we report a terahertz(THz) frequency-selective surface using a graphene split-ring resonator driven by ferroelectric polarization for efficient visual system applications. The downward polarization of the ferroelectric material offers an ultrahigh electrostatic field for doping p-type graphene with an anticipated Fermi level. By optimizing the geometric parameters of the devices and modulating the carrier behaviors of graphene, our plasmonic devices exhibit a tunable spectral response in a range of 1.7–6.0 THz with continuous transmission values. The alloptical neural network using graphene plasmonic surfaces designed in this study exhibited excellent performance in visual preprocessing and convolutional filtering and achieved an ultrahigh recognition accuracy of up to 99.3% in training the Modified National Institute of Standards and Technology(MNIST) handwritten digit dataset. 15Analysis of moisture and total sugar content of Huizao based on surface images显示文摘Moisture and total sugar content are two important internal qualities of Huizao.In order to explore their correlation with external qualities,a novel method of moisture and total sugar content analysis was proposed based on surface images.Firstly,five geometric features and seven texture features of Huizao were obtained to be the external quality indexes by digital image processing technology.Secondly,the wrinkle degree as an important index was extracted by marked watershed segmentation algorithm.According to the external quality the Huizao samples were grouped,and the moisture and total sugar content were determined through physical and chemical methods.Lastly,the moisture and total sugar content and twelve external indexes were all processed by step discriminatory analysis.Meanwhile,the regression models of moisture content with short diameter,contrast,and wrinkle degree and total sugar with wrinkle degree were established.The coefficients of the model were 0.9992 and 0.9978 respectively,and all the significance was less than 0.01,which show that the regression equation and regression coefficient effect are highly significant.The results indicate that the moisture and total sugar content of Huizao are greatly correlated with the wrinkle degree.The moisture and total sugar content are the highest when the wrinkle degree is at 2 to 3 grade,and they decrease gradually with the wrinkle degree increasing.Moisture content shows positive correlation with the size of Huizao.The results of model analysis agree well with the experimental results,which can provide valuable reference for improving Huizao grade diversity.Junxiong Zhang Qingqing Ma Fen He Feng Qu Wei Li 2018International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2018,11,4:0

18CO_(2)-promoted transfer-free growth of conformal graphene显示文摘Gaseous promotors have readily been adopted during the direct synthesis of graphene over insulators to enhance the growth quality and/or boost the growth rate.The understanding of the real functions of carbon-containing promotors has still remained elusive.In this study,we identify the critical roles of a representative CO_(2)promotor played in the direct growth of graphene.The comparative experimental trials validate CO_(2)as an effective modulator to decrease graphene nucleation density,improve growth kinetics,mitigate adlayer formation.The first-principles calculations illustrate that the generation of gas-phase OH species in CO_(2)-assisted system helps decrease the energy barriers of CH4 decomposition and carbon attachment to the growth front,which might be the key factor to allow high-quality direct growth.Such a CO_(2)-promoted strategy enables the conformal coating of graphene film over curved insulators,where the sheet resistance of grown graphene on quartz reaches as low as 1.26 kΩ·sq^(−1)at an optical transmittance of~95.8%.The fabricated endoscope lens based on our conformal graphene harvests an apoptosis of 82.8%for noninvasive thermal therapy.The work presented here is expected to motivate further investigations in the controllable growth of high-quality graphene on insulating substrates.Ruojuan Liu Zhe Peng Xiaoli Sun Zhaolong Chen Zhi Li Haina Ci Bingzhi Liu Yi Cheng Bei Jiang Junxiong Hu Wanjian Yin Jingyu Sun Zhongfan Liu 2023Nano Research2023,16,5:0
19Nitrogen doping induced by intrinsic defects of recycled polyethylene terephthalate-derived carbon nanotubes显示文摘The indiscriminate utilization of nondegradable polyethylene terephthalate(PET)-based products has triggered serious environmental pollution that has to be resolved vigorously.A simple synthesis of N-doped carbon nanotubes from recycled PET(NCNTs_(r-PET))was developed by a nitric acid-assisted hydrothermal method.Experimental results and theoretical calculations show that the intrinsic defects in CNTs_(r-PET)would induce N-doping by NH_(3)generated from nitric acid during the hydrothermal process,thus producing the NCNTs_(r-PET).The life cycle assessment proves that the developed method for N-doped CNTs using r-PET as the carbon source is more environmentally friendly than the conventional chemical vapor deposition using acetylene as the carbon source.As a typical application,the NCNTs_(r-PET)delivered an impressive sodium storage capacity with an ultralong lifespan.This work not only provides a new route to upcycling waste plastics into valuable carbonaceous materials in an ecofriendly manner,but also reveals a basic understanding of the N-doping mechanism in carbonaceous materials.Chuanping Li Lijuan Tong Shuling Wang Qian Liu Yaxin Wang Xuan Li Manxi Wang Manxian Li Xiaochuan Chen Junxiong Wu Qinghua Chen Yiu-Wing Mai Weiwei Fan Yuming Chen Xiaoyan Li 2023SusMat2023,3,3:0
20Diagnostic accuracy and safety of Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus extracts used for skin prick test显示文摘Background:Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus is a common allergen causing allergic diseases in China.The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of D.pteronyssinus extracts produced by Peking Union Medical College Hospital(PUMCH)for the skin prick test(SPT)in the diagnosis of D.pteronyssinus allergy.Methods:A total of 910 subjects with allergic diseases were prescribed D.pteronyssinus SPT and specific sIgE(sIgE)test among the Outpatients of Department of Allergy,PUMCH from August 10,2015 to August 30,2017.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis was performed according to the results of D.pteronyssinus-sIgE detection.The accuracy of D.pteronyssinus extracts used for SPT in the diagnosis of D.pteronyssinus allergy was evaluated under different cutoff values.Adverse events after SPT were recorded to evaluate safety.Results:There were 796 and 618 subjects in the full analysis set(FAS)and the per protocol set(PPS),respectively.The areas under the curve of FAS and PPS were 0.871 and 0.873,respectively.According to the ROC of PPS,the optimal and 95%specificity diagnostic cutoff values of D.pteronyssinus SPT mean wheal diameter were 3.25 and 3.75 mm,respectively.No adverse events occurred.Conclusion:The extracts of D.pteronyssinus for SPT were simple,highly accurate,and safe and should be considered for recommendation in the clinical diagnosis of D.pteronyssinus allergy.Rui Tang Xiaohong Lyu Yuxi Liu Ruiqi Wang Lianglu Wang Hong Li Jinlyu Sun Yuxiang Zhi Jianqing Gu Kai Guan Liping Wen Zixi Wang Lisha Li Le Cui Yingyang Xu Junxiong Zhou Tao Xu Jia Yin 2022Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,21:0
