| 2 | Slope Debris Flows in the Wenchuan Earthquake Area显示文摘Avalanches and landslides,induced by the Wenchuan Earthquake on May 12,2008,resulted in a lot of disaggregated,solid material on slopes that could be readily mobilized as source material for debris flows.Rainstorms triggered numerous slope debris flows with great damage to highways and rivers over the subsequent two years.Slope debris flows(as opposed to channelized debris flows) are defined as phenomena in which high-concentration mixtures of debris and water flow down slopes for short distances to highways and river banks.Based on field investigations and measurements of 19 slope debris flows,their main characteristics and potential mitigation strategies were studied.High rainfall intensity is the main triggering factor.Critical rainfall intensities for simultaneous occurrence of single,several and numerous slope debris flow events were 20 mm/day,30mm/day,and 90 mm/day,respectively.Field investigations also revealed that slope debris flows consist of high concentrations of cobbles,boulders and gravel.They are two-phase debris flows.The liquid phase plays the role of lubrication instead of transporting medium.Solid particles collide with each other and consume a lot of energy.The velocities of slope debris flows are very low,and their transport distances are only several tens of meters.Slope debris flows may be controlled by construction of drainage systems and by reforestation. | LI Yanfu WANG Zhaoyin SHI Wenjing WANG Xuzhao | 2010 | Journal of Mountain Science2010,7,3: | 13 |
| 3 | Influence of Mg and Ti on the microstructure and electrochemical performance of aluminum alloy sacrificial anodes显示文摘The experiments focused on the influence of magnesium and titanium as additional alloying elements on the microstructure and electro-chemical behavior of Al-Zn-In sacrificial anodes. The electrochemical behavior of the aluminum sacrificial anode with 3 wt.% sodium chloride solution was studied by electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) tests. It was found that a microstructure with few precipitates and refined grains could be achieved by adding 1 wt.% Mg and 0.05 wt.% Ti to the Al-Zn-In alloy,resulting in the improved current capacity and efficiency of the alloy. | 4 | Impacts of artificially planted vegetation on the ecological restoration of movable sand dunes in the Mugetan Desert,northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘Controlling desertification is an important ecological target for the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau of China,where studies on impacts of vegetation restoration measures on sandy soil improvement are still lacking.The Mugetan Desert in Guinan County,Qinghai Province,northeastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is a representative ecological restoration area.The impacts of artificial vegetation on the ecological restoration and its properties are studied by using field investigation and sample testing including contents of the surface layer and the vegetation composition of movable,semi-fixed,and fixed sand dunes.Results demonstrate that the moss crust has formed on the surface of a sand dune which has become fixed after 30 years under the impact of artificial vegetation(i.e.Cathay poplar).Meanwhile,the clay minerals,organic matter,and other soil available nutrients have markedly increased.A correlation has been found between these materials,i.e.,clay minerals and organic matter content increasing with silt and clay increases with reduction in sand content.In addition,soil nutrient were positively correlated with the increase of plant diversity.Under the current meteorological conditions,the artificial vegetation is helpful for the stabilization of sand dune and the ecological restoration in the Mugetan Desert. | Yanfu Li Zhiwei Li Zhaoyin Wang Wenlong Wang Yanhong Jia Shimin Tian | 2017 | International Journal of Sediment Research2017,32,2: | 8 |

| 7 | esveratrol inhibits necroptosis by mediating the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL pathway in myocardial hypoxia/reoxygenation injury显示文摘Resveratrol(RES)protects myocardial cells from hypoxia/reoxygenation(H/R)-caused injury.However,the mechanism of this effect has not been clarified.Thus,in this study,we aimed to determine whether RES attenuates H/R-induced cell necroptosis by inhibiting the tumor necrosis factor-alpha(TNF-α)/receptor-interacting protein kinase 1(RIP1)/RIP3/mixed-lineage kinase domain-like(MLKL)signaling pathway.Rat myocardial ischemia/reperfusion(I/R)models and H/R-injured cell models were constructed.Our study showed that myocardial H/R injury significantly increased the levels of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL by western blot analysis.Cell viability assay and 4,6-dianmidino-2-phenylindole(DAPI)-propidium iodide staining showed that the cell viability was decreased,and necroptosis was increased after myocardial H/R injury.The expressions of TNF-α,RIP1,RIP3,and p-MLKL/MLKL in H/R myocardial cells treated with different concentrations of RES were significantly downregulated.In addition,we also found that the cell viability was increased and necroptosis was decreased in dose-dependent manners when H/R-injured cells were treated with RES.In addition,the enhanced effect of TNF-αon necroptosis in myocardial H/R-injured cells was improved by RES,and the effect of RES was confirmed in vivo in I/R rats.This study also showed that RES suppresses necroptosis in H9c2 cells,which may occur through the inhibition of the TNF-α/RIP1/RIP3/MLKL signaling pathway.Our data suggest that necroptosis is a promising therapeutic target and may be a promising therapeutic target for the treatment of myocardial I/R injury. | Yongjun Hu Hongwei Pan Jianqiang Peng Jin He Mingxiang Tang Sulan Yan Jingjing Rong Junshan Li Zhaofen Zheng Haijun Wang Yanfu Liu Xin Zhong | 2021 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2021,53,4: | 6 |

In the present study, four dehydration responsive element-binding(DREB) genes(Sm DREB1, Sm DREB2, Sm DREB and Sm DREB1) were isolated from S. moorcroftiana for the first time and their expression and proline content under abiotic stress were analyzed. Proline accumulated in seedlings under drought, salt, cold, and heat stress treatments. The four genes were variously expressed in response to the four abiotic stresses. Sm DREB1 was induced by drought, cold, and heat stresses; Sm DREB2 and Sm DREB4 were both induced by salt, cold, and heat stresses, whereas Sm DREB3 was induced by drought and heat stresses. | 9 | Passivation of degradation path enables high performance perovskite nanoplatelet lasers with high operational stability显示文摘MAPbI_(3)perovskite has attracted widespread interests for developing low-cost near infrared semiconductor gain media.However,it faces the instability issue under operation conditions,which remains a critical challenge.It is found that the instability of the MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet laser comes from the thermal-induced degradation progressing from the surface defects towards neighboring regions.By using PbI_(2) passivation,the defect-initiated degradation is significantly suppressed and the nanoplatelet degrades in a layer-by-layer way,enabling the MAPbI_(3)laser to sustain for 4500 s(2.7×10^(7) pulses),which is nearly three times longer than that of the nanoplatelet laser without passivation.Meanwhile,the PbI_(2) passivated MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet laser with the nanoplatelet cavity displays a maximum quality factor up to∼7800,the highest reported for all MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet cavities.Furthermore,a high stability MAPbI_(3)nanoplatelet laser that can last for 8500 s(5.1×10^(7) pulses)is demonstrated based on a dual passivation strategy,by retarding the defect-initiated degradation and surface-initiated degradation simultaneously.This work provides in-depth insights for understanding the operating degradation of perovskite lasers,and the dual passivation strategy paves the way for developing high stability near infrared semiconductor laser media. | GUOHUI LI HUIHUI PI YANFU WEI BOLIN ZHOU YA GAO RONG WEN YUYING HAO HAN ZHANG BENG S.ONG YANXIA CUI | 2022 | Photonics Research2022,10,6: | 2 |

As the result,cell-to-cell interference(CCI) becomes more serious and hence causes an increase in the raw bit error rate of data stored in the cells.Recently, low-density parity-check(LDPC)codes have appeared to be a promising solution to combat the interference of MLC NAND flash memory. However, the decoding complexity of the sum-product algorithm(SPA) is extremely high. In this paper, to improve the accuracy of the log likelihood ratio(LLR) information of each bit in each NAND flash memory cell, we adopt a non-uniform detection(N-UD) which uses the average maximum mutual information to determine the value of the soft-decision reference voltages.Furthermore, with an aim to reduce the decoding complexity and improve the decoding performance, we propose a modified soft reliabilitybased iterative majority-logic decoding(MSRBI-MLGD) algorithm, which uses a non-uniform quantizer based on power function to decode LDPC codes. | 13 | A study on limit velocity and its mechanism and implications for alluvial rivers显示文摘Observations from field investigations showed that flow velocity greater than 3 m/s rarely occurs in nature,and high flow velocity stresses the bio-community and causes instability to the channel.For alluvial rivers without strong human disturbance,the flow velocity varies within a limited range,generally below 3 m/s,while the discharge and wet area may vary in a range of several orders.This phenomenon was studied by analyzing hydrological data,including daily average discharge,stage,cross sections,and sediment concentration,collected from 25 stations on 20 rivers in China,including the Yangtze,Yellow,Songhua,Yalu,Daling,and Liaohe Rivers.The cross-sectional average velocity was calculated from the discharge and wet area using the continuity equation.For alluvial rivers,the wet cross section may self-adjust in accordance with the varying flow discharge so that the flow velocity does not exceed a limit value.In general,the average velocity increases with the discharge increase at low discharge.As the discharge exceeds the discharge capacity of the banks,any further increase in discharge does not result in a great increase in velocity.The average velocity approaches an upper limit as the discharge increases.This limit velocity,in most cases,is less than 3 m/s.Human activities,especially levee construction,disturb the limit velocity law for alluvial rivers.In these cases,the average velocity may be approximately equal to or higher than the limit velocity.The limit velocity law has profound morphological and ecological implications on alluvial rivers and requires further study.Rivers should be trained and managed by mimicking natural processes and meeting the limit velocity law,so as to maintain ecologically-sound and morphological stability. | Yanhong Jia Zhaoyin Wang Xiangmin Zheng Yanfu Li | 2016 | International Journal of Sediment Research2016,31,3: | 1 |
