1Shape and size effects of ceria nanoparticles on the impact strength of ceria/epoxy resin composites显示文摘Ceria nanoparticles with various shapes (rods, cubes, and plates) and sizes were controllably synthesized and then introduced into epoxy resin. Subsequently, we investigated correlations between the shape and size of ceria nanostructures and the mechanical performance of composites. The samples were characterized by transmission electron microscopy, scanning electron microscopy, and X-ray diffraction. Compared with commercial ceria filled composites, the composites made with morphology-controlled ceria nanos-tructures show a higher impact strength. It is found that epoxy resins made with high-aspect-ratio ceria nanorods show the highest impact strength, up to 17.27 kJ/m 2 , which is about four times that of the neat epoxy resin.Xiaoqiang He Dengsong Zhang Hongrui Li Jianhui Fang Liyi Shi 2011Particuology2011,9,1:7
2Defect inspection of flip chip package using SAM technology and fuzzy C-means algorithm显示文摘Solder bumps are widely used in surface mount components, which provide electrical and mechanical connection between the chip/package and the substrate. As the solder bump getting smaller in dimension and pitch, it becomes more difficult to inspect the solder defects hidden in the IC package. In this paper, an intelligent inspection method using the scanning acoustic microscopy(SAM) and the fuzzy C-means(FCM) algorithm was investigated. A flip chip package of FA10 was chosen as the test sample. The SAM tests of FA10 were carried out in C-scan mode. The sub-image of every solder bump was segmented from the SAM image. The statistical features were then calculated and adopted for clustering of solder bumps using the FCM algorithm. The recognition results of FCM reached a high accuracy of 94.3%. 3Overview of Thrust Ripple Suppression Technique fbr Linear Motors显示文摘Direct-drive actuators,linear motors are widely used in many industrial and military applications,particularly in high-end manufacturing due to advantages of high force density,rapid dynamic response,and low thermal losses.Permanent magnet linear synchronous motors(PMLSMs)can dramatically improve the dynamic and static performance of the motion system.However,as one of the most critical sources of error,the thrust ripple of linear motors can deteriorate performance and even excite the mechanical resonance.Thrust ripple suppression technology had received broad interest and has been researched extensively.Therefore,this paper summarizes different types of thrust ripple suppression methods and their principles are analyzed in detail.Firstly,structural optimization methods are introduced to suppress the thrust ripple and increase the precision of the thrust.Secondly,control methods are described to decrease the velocity fluctuation caused by the thrust ripple.Thirdly,a combination of structural design and control method is presented to compensate the ripple,meaning high order harmonic components are eliminated by permanent magnets(PM)skewing technology and low order harmonic are compensated by a linearization observer.Finally,conclusions are made regarding thrust ripple suppression technology and the future trend is proposed.Mingyi Wang Liyi Li Rui Yang 2016Chinese Journal of Electrical Engineering2016,2,1:2
4Removal of toxic metal ions using chitosan coated carbon nanotube composites for supercapacitors显示文摘Environmental pollution and energy crisis are two major global challenges to human beings.Recovering energy from wastewater is considered to be one of the effective approaches to address these two issues synchronously.As the main pollutants in wastewater,toxic heavy metal ions are the potential candidates for energy storage devices with pseudocapacitive behaviors.In this study,toxic metal ions of Cr(VI)and Cu(II)are removed efficiently by chitosan coated oxygen-containing functional carbon nanotubes,and the corresponding equilibrium adsorption capacity is 142.1 and 123.7 mg g^(-1).Followed by carbonization of metal ions-adsorbed adsorbents,Cu-and Cr N-loaded carbon composites can be obtained.Electrochemical measurements show that the supercapacitor electrodes based on Cu-and Cr N-loaded carbon composites have specific capacitance of 144.9 and 114.9 F g^(-1)at2 m V s^(-1),with superior electrochemical properties to pure chitosan coated carbon nanotubes after carbonization.This work demonstrates a new strategy for the resource-utilization of other heavy metal ions for energy devices,and also provides a new way to turn environmental pollutants into clean energy.Pin Hao Xiaoye Ma Junfeng Xie Fengcai Lei Liyi Li Wenqian Zhu Xin Cheng Guanwei Cui Bo Tang 2018Science China Chemistry2018,61,7:2

8Facile synthesis of Er^(3+)/Tm^(3+)co-doped magnetic/luminescent nanosystems for possible bioimaging and therapy applications显示文摘Manganese-zinc ferrite is a kind of very important magnetic ferrite material.The properties of wide absorption band,sensitivity to ultraviolet(UV)light and tumor H_(2)O_(2) promise it to be possibly used as a photothermal therapy(PTT),photodynamic therapy(PDT)and chemodynamic therapy(CDT)agent.Based on the unique advantages of rare-earth doped nanoparticles,an Er^(3+),Tm^(3+)co-doped upconversion-mediated nanosystem with manganese-zinc ferrite shell(named as UCNPS@M)was developed through a facile thermal co-decomposition method.The final nanosystems were surface-modified by using dopamine hydrochloride(DA)in order to warrant good biocompatibility(named as UCNPS@M@DA).Under irradiation of near-infrared(NIR)light,UCNPS emit both ultraviolet and visible light.The UV light is mostly abso rbed by manga nese-zinc ferrite shell to produce reactive oxygen species(ROS),which is essential to the potential PDT and CDT effect of nanosystems,and at the same time,Mn_(0.5)Zn_(0.5)Fe2O_(4) can further react with H_(2)O_(2) to promote the efficiency of OH-generation.It is expected that UCNPS@M@DA can act as upconversion luminescence imaging guidance due to the visible emission from UCNPS.In addition,the energy absorbed by the nanosystems can be transferred to heat to realize photothermal effect.Moreover,UCNPS@M@DA was successfully applied as a T_(1)/T_(2)-weighted magnetic resonance imaging(MRI)contrast agent due to the existence of Gd,Mn,and Fe elements.In light of the upconversion luminescence(UCL)imaging from the UCNPS as well as potential PTT,PDT,CDT effect mentioned above,this work provides a possibility to realize cancer multi-model bioimaging guided treatment by using an all-in-one diagnosis and therapy nanosystem through a simple yet powerful strategy.Hongyu Liu Jiabei Li Pengfei Hu Songqiang Sun Liyi Shi Lining Sun 2022Journal of Rare Earths2022,40,1:1
