1The influence of stage at diagnosis and molecular subtype on breast cancer patient survival: a hospital.based multi.center study显示文摘Background: Stage at diagnosis and molecular subtype are important clinical factors associated with breast cancer patient survival. However, subgroup survival data from a large study sample are limited in China.To estimate the survival differences among patients with different stages and various subtypes of breast cancer, we conducted a hospital-based multi-center study on breast cancer in Beijing, China.Methods: All resident patients diagnosed with primary, invasive breast cancer between January 1,2006 and December 31,2010 from four selected hospitals in Beijing were included and followed up until December 31,2015. Hospitalbased data of stage at diagnosis, hormone receptor status, and selected clinical characteristics, including body mass index(BMI), menopausal status, histological grade, and histological type, were collected from the medical records of the study subjects. Overall survival(OS) and cancer-specific survival(CSS) were estimated. Cox proportional hazards models were employed to evaluate the associations of stage at diagnosis and molecular subtype with patient survival.Results: The 5-year OS and CSS rates for all patients were 89.4% and 90.3%. Survival varied by stage and molecular subtype. The 5-year OS rates for patients with stage I, Ⅱ, Ⅲ, and IV diseases were 96.5%, 91.6%, 74.8%, and 40.7%,respectively, and the corresponding estimates of 5-year CSS rates were 97.1%, 92.6%, 75.6%, and 42.7%, respectively.The 5-year OS rates for patients with luminal A, luminal B, HER2, and triple-negative subtypes of breast cancer were92.6%, 88.4%, 83.6%, and 82.9%, respectively, and the corresponding estimates of 5-year CSS rates were 93.2%, 89.1 %,85.4%, and 83.5%, respectively. Multivariate analysis showed that stage at diagnosis and molecular subtype were important prognostic factors for breast cancer.Conclusions: Survival of breast cancer patients varied significantly by stage and molecular subtype. Cancer screening is encouraged for the early detection and early diagnosis of breast cancer. 3Investigation and Analysis of Three Nitrogen Pollution in Groundwater in Ledong, Hainan Province显示文摘[Objectives]This study was conducted to systematically monitor the contents of 'three nitrogen',including ammonia nitrogen (NH4^+-N),nitrate nitrogen (NO3^--N) and nitrite nitrogen (NO2^--N) in groundwater in Ledong and analyze the reasons.[Methods]A total of 30 sampling points were set up in Ledong,including 22 ground waters and 8 surface waters.NO3^--N,NH4^+-N,NO2^--N and pH indicators were detected.[Results]① There is a problem of excessive nitrogen in the groundwater of Ledong,Hainan.NH4^+-N and NO3^--N exceeded the standards severely,and the over-standard rates were 27.27% and 13.64%,respectively.NO2^--N didn't exceed the standard.Among them,the highest concentration of NH4^+-N was up to 2.692 mg/L;and the highest concentration of NO3^--N reached 24.071 mg/L.② The pollution trends of NH4^+-N and NO2^--N in Ledong County were similar,and NO3^--N had no similarity.③ There was a regional difference in the groundwater three nitrogen in Ledong,Hainan.The pollution level near the farmland was greater than that far from the farmland.The pollution level near the farm area was greater than that far from the farm area.In addition,in combination with the layout of the sampling points and the test results,it was not found that the area far from the coastline would be lower than the area near the coastline in the pollution level.④ The main reasons for the excessive nitrogen in the groundwater of Ledong,Hainan are farmland fertilization,random discharge of domestic sewage,discharge of aquaculture wastewater,and discharge of industrial water at will.[Conclusions]This study is of great significance to safe prevention and control of groundwater in Ledong.Zixi TANG Yongfu ZHANG Lifang ZENG Qiang YUAN Na LI 2019Agricultural Biotechnology2019,8,3:5
4Tetrahymena Gene Expression Database (TGED):A resource of microarray data and co-expression analyses for Tetrahymena显示文摘Tetrahymena thermophila is a model eukaryotic organism. Functional genomic analyses in Tetrahymena present rich opportunities to address fundamental questions of cell and molecular biology. The Tetrahymena Gene Expression Database (TGED; available at http://gffzz5d146715fb2e495ehwcuxpv569o9w6665.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn) is the first expression database of a ciliated protozoan. It covers three major physiological and developmental states: growth, starvation, and conjugation, and can be accessed through a user-friendly web interface. The gene expression profiles and candidate co-expressed genes for each gene can be retrieved using Gene ID or Gene description searches. Descriptions of standardized methods of sample preparation and the opportunity to add new Tetrahymena microarray data will be of great interest to the Tetrahymena research community. 5Effect of water on extractive desulfurization of fuel oils using ionic liquids: A COSMO-RS and experimental study显示文摘When evaluating ionic liquids(ILs) for extractive desulfurization(EDS) of fuel oils, the inevitable presence of water in the system may have a significant and in many cases strongly negative effect. However, few studies have considered this particular issue and a promoted water effect on EDS is scarcely reported. In this work,COSMO-RS was firstly employed to calculate the capacity and selectivity for EDS of various IL/H_2 O mixtures,which cover different IL characters and a wide water concentration range. Experiments were then conducted with a representative IL [C_4MIM][H_2PO_4], whose stable and even promoted extraction performance with a small amount of water was suggested by COSMO-RS. Through analyses of the desulfurization ratio, the crosssolubility and the water content in the desulfurized fuel, the promoted effect of water within a certain range(b 10 wt%) was experimentally demonstrated. 7Application Effect of Sludge Extract in the Planting of Zinnia elegans显示文摘[Objectives] The research aimed to study the effect of sludge extract on the growth of Zinnia elegans, and evaluate its possibility of application. [Methods] Z. elegans was taken as research object, and the effect of sludge extract on the growth indicators of Z. elegans was studied. [Results] The sludge extract can obviously promote the growth of Z. elegans, and the growth indicators were significantly improved when compared with the control group. The application effect was close to that of foliar fertilizer purchased in the market. In each treatment group, the low concentration of sludge extract did not significantly promote the growth of Z. elegans, while too high concentration could inhibit its growth, and the optimal dilution ratio was 600 times. 8Mechanism analysis of hysteretic aerodynamic characteristics on variable-sweep wings显示文摘Variable-sweep wings have large shape-changing capabilities and wide flight envelops,which are considered as one of the most promising directions for intelligent morphing UAVs.Aerodynamic investigations always focus on several static states in the varying sweep process,which ignore the unsteady aerodynamic characteristics.However,deviations to static aerodynamic forces are inevitably caused by dynamic sweep motion.In this work,first,unsteady aerodynamic characteristics on a typical variable-sweep UAV with large aspect ratio were analyzed.Then,deep mechanism of unsteady aerodynamic characteristics in the varying sweep process was studied.Finally,numerical simulation method integrated with structured moving overset grids was applied to solve the unsteady fluid of varying sweep process.The simulation results of a sweep forward-backward circle show a distinct dynamic hysteresis loop surrounding the static data for the aerodynamic forces.Compared with the static lift coefficients,at the same sweep angles,dynamic lift coefficient in sweep forward process are all smaller,while dynamic sweep backward lift coefficient are all larger.In addition,dynamic deviations to static lift coefficient are positively related with the varying sweep speeds.Mechanism study on the unsteady aerodynamic characteristics indicates that three key factors lead to the dynamic hysteresis loop in varying sweep process.They are the effects of additional velocity caused by varying sweep motion,the effects of flow hysteresis and viscosity.The additional velocity induced by sweep motion affects the transversal flow direction along the wing and the effective angle of attack at the airfoil profile.The physical properties of flow,the hysteresis and viscosity affect the unsteady aerodynamic characteristics by flow separation and induced vortexes.Lifang ZENG Liu LIU Xueming SHAO Jun LI 2023Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2023,36,5:0

10Clinical phenotype features and genetic etiologies of 38 children with progressive myoclonic epilepsy显示文摘Background:Progressive myoclonic epilepsy(PME)is a group of neurodegenerative diseases with genetic heterogeneity and phenotypic similarities,and many cases remain unknown of the genetic causes.This study is aim to summarize the clinical features and study the genetic causes of PME patients.Methods:Sanger sequencing of the target gene,Next Generation Sequencing(NGS)panels of epilepsy,trio-based Whole Exome Sequencing(WES)and detection of cytosine-adenine-guanine(CAG)repeat number were used to investigate the genetic causes of PME patients.Results:Thirty-eight children with PME whose seizure onset age ranged from 3 months to 12 years were collected from February 2012 to November 2019 in three hospitals in Beijing,China.The seizure types included myoclonic seizures(n=38),focal seizures(n=19),generalized tonic-clonie seizure(GTCS)(n=13),absence seizures(n=4),atonic seizures(n=3),epileptic spasms(n=2)and tonic seizures(n=1).Twenty-seven cases were sporadic and 11 had family members affected.Established PME-related genes were identified in 30 out of 38(78.9%)patients who had either recessively inherited or de novo heterozygous mutations.Among these 30 cases,there were 12 cases(31.6%)of neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses(the causing gene contains TPP1,PPT1,CLN5,CLN6 and MFSD8),two cases of sialidosis(the causing gene is NEU1),two cases of neuronopathic Gaucher disease(the causing gene is GBA),one case of spinal muscular atrophy-progressive myoclonic epilepsy(the causing gene is ASAH1),four cases of KCNC1 mutation-related PME,four cases of KCTD7 mutation-related PME,two cases of TBC1D24 mutation-related PME,one case of GOSR2 related PME,and two of dentatorubral-pallidoluysian atrophy(the causing gene is ATN1).In total,13 PME genes were identified in our cohort.The etiology was not clear in eight patients.Conclusion:PME is a group of clinically and genetically heterogeneous diseases.Genetic diagnosis was clear in 78.9%of PME patients.Various of genetic testing methods could increase the rate of genetic diagnosis.Neuronal ceroid lipofuscinoses(NCL)is the most common etiology of PME in children.Nearly one third PME children were diagnosed with NCL.GOSR2 related PME was in our cohort in Asia for the first time.Jing Zhang Ying Yang Xueyang Niu Jiaoyang Chen Wei Sun Changhong Ding Lifang Dai Liping Zhang Qi Zeng Yi Chen Xiaojuan Tian Xiaoling Yang Taoyun Ji Zhixian Yang Yanling Yang Yuwu Jiang Yuehua Zhang 2020Acta Epileptologica2020,2,1:0
