1Kinetics of the accumulation of group 2 innate lymphoid cells in IL-33-induced and IL-25-induced murine models of asthma:a potential role for the chemokine CXCL16显示文摘ILC2s are implicated in asthma pathogenesis, but little is known about the mechanisms underlying their accumulation in airways.We investigated the time course of ILC2 accumulation in different tissues in murine models of asthma induced by a serial per-nasalchallenge with ovalbumin (OVA), house dust mice (HDM), IL-25 and IL-33 and explored the potential roles of ILC2-attractingchemokines in this phenomenon. Flow cytometry was used to enumerate ILC2s at various time points. The effects of cytokines andchemokines on ILC2 migration were measured in vitro using a chemotaxis assay and in vivo using small animal imaging. Comparedwith saline and OVA challenge, both IL-25 and IL-33 challenge alone induced significant accumulation of ILC2s in the mediastinallymph nodes, lung tissue and bronchoalveolar lavage fluid of challenged animals, but with a distinct potency and kinetics. In vitro,IL-33 and CXCL16, but not IL-25 or CCL25, directly induced ILC2 migration. Small animal in vivo imaging further confirmed that asingle intranasal provocation with IL-33 or CXCL16 was sufficient to induce the accumulation of ILC2s in the lungs followinginjection via the tail vein. Moreover, IL-33-induced ILC2 migration involved the activation of ERK1/2, p38, Akt, JNK and NF-κB, whileCXCL16-induced ILC2 migration involved the activation of ERK1/2, p38 and Akt. These data support the hypothesis that epitheliumderived IL-25 and IL-33 induce lung accumulation of ILC2s, while IL-33 exerts a direct chemotactic effect in this process. 2Formation mechanism of a smooth, defectfree surface of fused silica optics using rapid CO2 laser polishing显示文摘Surface defects introduced by conventional mechanical processing methods can induce irreversible damage and reduce the service life of optics applied in high-power lasers.Compared to mechanical processing,laser polishing with moving beam spot is a noncontact processing method,which is able to form a defect-free surface.This work aims to explore the mechanism of forming a smooth,defect-free fused silica surface by high-power density laser polishing with coupled multiple beams.The underlying mechanisms of laser polishing was revealed by numerical simulations and the theoretical results were verified by experiments.The simulated polishing depth and machined surface morphology were in close agreement with the experimental results.To obtain the optimized polishing quality,the effects of laser polishing parameters(e.g.overlap rate,pulse width and polishing times)on the polishing quality were experimentally investigated.It was found that the processing efficiency of fused silica materials by carbon dioxide(CO2)laser polishing could reach 8.68 mm2 s−1,and the surface roughness(Ra)was better than 25 nm.Besides,the cracks on pristine fused silica surfaces introduced by initial grinding process were completely removed by laser polishing to achieve a defect-free surface.The maximum laser polishing rate can reach 3.88μm s−1,much higher than that of the traditional mechanical polishing methods.The rapid CO2 laser polishing can effectively achieve smooth,defect-free surface,which is of great significance to improve the surface quality of fused silica optics applied in high-power laser facilities.Linjie Zhao Jian Cheng Mingjun Chen Xiaodong Yuan Wei Liao Qi Liu Hao Yang Haijun Wang 2019International Journal of Extreme Manufacturing2019,1,3:8

4Achieving long-cycling sodium-ion full cells in ether-based electrolyte with vinylene carbonate additive显示文摘Application of sodium-ion batteries is suppressed due to the lack of appropriate electrolytes matching cathode and anode simultaneously.Ether-based electrolytes,preference of anode materials,cannot match with high-potential cathodes failing to apply in full cells.Herein,vinylene carbonate(VC)as an additive into NaCF_(3) SO_(3)-Diglyme(DGM)could make sodium-ion full cells applicable without preactivation of cathode and anode.The assembled FeS@C||Na3 V2(PO_(4))_(3)@C full cell with this electrolyte exhibits long term cycling stability and high capacity retention.The deduced reason is additive VC,whose HOMO level value is close to that of DGM,not only change the solvent sheath structure of Na^(+),but also is synergistically oxidized with DGM to form integrity and consecutive cathode electrolyte interphase on Na3 V2(PO_(4))_(3)@C cathode,which could effectively improve the oxidative stability of electrolyte and prevent the electrolyte decomposition.This work displays a new way to optimize the sodium-ion full cell seasily with bright practical application potential.Juan Shi Lina Ding Yanhua Wan Liwei Mi Linjie Chen Dan Yang Yuxiong Hu Weihua Chen 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,6:4
5Increased mtDNA copy number promotes cancer progression by enhancing mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation in microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer显示文摘Colorectal cancer is one of the leading causes of cancer death worldwide.According to global genomic status,colorectal cancer can be classified into two main types:microsatellite-stable and microsatellite-instable tumors.Moreover,the two subtypes also exhibit different responses to chemotherapeutic agents through distinctive molecular mechanisms.Recently,mitochondrial DNA depletion has been shown to induce apoptotic resistance in microsatellite-instable colorectal cancer.However,the effects of altered mitochondrial DNA copy number on the progression of microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer,which accounts for the majority of colorectal cancer,remain unclear.In this study,we systematically investigated the functional role of altered mitochondrial DNA copy number in the survival and metastasis of microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer cells.Moreover,the underlying molecular mechanisms were also explored.Our results demonstrated that increased mitochondrial DNA copy number by forced mitochondrial transcription factor A expression significantly facilitated cell proliferation and inhibited apoptosis of microsatellitestable colorectal cancer cells both in vitro and in vivo.Moreover,we demonstrated that increased mitochondrial DNA copy number enhanced the metastasis of microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer cells.Mechanistically,the survival advantage conferred by increased mitochondrial DNA copy number was caused in large part by elevated mitochondrial oxidative phosphorylation.Furthermore,treatment with oligomycin significantly suppressed the survival and metastasis of microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer cells with increased mitochondrial DNA copy number.Our study provides evidence supporting a possible tumor-promoting role for mitochondrial DNA and uncovers the underlying mechanism,which suggests a potential novel therapeutic target for microsatellite-stable colorectal cancer.Xiacheng Sun Lei Zhan Yibing Chen Gang Wang Linjie He Qian Wang Feng Zhou Fang Yang Jin Wu Yousheng Wu Jinliang Xing Xianli He Qichao Huang 2018Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2018,3,1:3

7Inside-out dual-doping effects on tubular catalysts:Structural and chemical variation for advanced oxygen reduction performance显示文摘Dual-doping of carbon,especially the combination of nitrogen and a secondary heteroatom,has been demonstrated efficient to optimize the oxygen reduction reaction(ORR)performance.However,the optimum dual-doping is still not clear due to the lack of strong experimental proofs,which rely on a reliable method to prepare carbon materials that can rule out the interference factors and then emphasize only the doping effects.In this work,an inside-out doping method is reported to prepare carbon submicrotubes(CSTs)as a material to study the principles of designing dual-doping catalysts for ORR.The interference factors including the metal impurities and doping gradient in the bulk phase are excluded,and the doping effects including the structural and chemical variation of carbon are studied.P-doping exhibited a higher pore-forming ability to perforate carbon and a lower doping content,but a higher ORR catalytic activity as compared with S-and B-doped N-CSTs,demonstrating the N,P co-doping is more efficient in making carbon-based catalysts for ORR.First-principle calculations reveal that the edge C situated around the oxidized P site nearby a graphitic N atom is the active site that shows the lowest ORR overpotential comparable to Pt-based catalysts.This study suggests that the catalytic activity of dual-heteroatoms-doped carbons not only depends on the intrinsic chemical bonding between heteroatoms and carbon,but also is affected by the structural variation generated by introducing different atoms,which can be extended to the study of other kinds of functionalization of carbon and potential reactions besides ORR.Yang Gao Debin Kong Jiaxu Liang Daliang Han Bin Wang Quan-Hong Yang Linjie Zhi 2022Nano Research2022,15,1:2
8中国西南地区2007年-2011年男性乳腺癌发生率(英文)显示文摘Objective: Male breast cancer is a rare disease with an incidence of about 1% of breast cancers in USA, but relatively lack of the information of male breast cancer in China, especially in Southwest of China, led us to study its incidence trends. Methods: Chongqing is one of the biggest and the most important areas that is located in Southwest of China. There are around 31.4 million people who live in approximate 82 402.95 km2area of Chongqing. Data about breast cancer patients registered in the Center for Disease Prevention and Control of Chongqing(China) were statistically collected from 187 hospitals, about 58 hospitals in city and 129 hospitals in country, and over 6.2 million people were studied every year. It was tried to represent all the people in villages and cities in Chongqing, China. Results: The incidence of male breast cancer in Southwest of China ranged from 0.34/100 000 to 1.45/100 000 between 2007 and 2011, while the incidence of female breast cancer ranged from 15.40/100000 to 21.66/100000 at the same time. The rate of male breast cancer to female breast cancer ranged from 0.02:1 to 0.07:1, male breast cancer accounted for 1.96% to 6.5%(with the mean value of 2.9%) of breast cancers in Southwest of China from 2007 to 2010. Conclusion: In Southwest of China male breast cancer accounts for about 2.9% of breast cancers which is higher than that in United States. 14An AIEgen/graphene oxide nanocomposite(AIEgen@GO)-based two-stage“turn-on”nucleic acid biosensor for rapid detection of SARS-CoV-2 viral sequence显示文摘The ongoing outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2)pandemic has posed significant challenges in early viral diagnosis.Hence,it is urgently desirable to develop a rapid,inexpensive,and sensitive method to aid point-of-care SARS-CoV-2 detection.In this work,we report a highly sequence-specific biosensor based on nanocomposites with aggregationinduced emission luminogens(AIEgen)-labeled oligonucleotide probes on graphene oxide nanosheets(AIEgen@GO)for one step-detection of SARS-CoV-2-specific nucleic acid sequences(Orf1ab or N genes).A dual“turn-on”mechanism based on AIEgen@GO was established for viral nucleic acids detection.Here,the first-stage fluorescence recovery was due to dissociation of the AIEgen from GO surface in the presence of target viral nucleic acid,and the second-stage enhancement of AIEbased fluorescent signal was due to the formation of a nucleic acid duplex to restrict the intramolecular rotation of the AIEgen.Furthermore,the feasibility of our platform for diagnostic application was demonstrated by detecting SARS-CoV-2 virus plasmids containing both Orf1ab and N genes with rapid detection around 1 h and good sensitivity at pM level without amplification.Our platform shows great promise in assisting the initial rapid detection of the SARS-CoV-2 nucleic acid sequence before utilizing quantitative reverse transcription-polymerase chain reaction for second confirmation.Qin Zhang Bohan Yin Jianhua Hao Linjie Ma Yingying Huang Xueying Shao Chuanqi Li Zhiqin Chu Changqing Yi Siu Hong Dexter Wong Mo Yang 2023Aggregate2023,4,1:0

17Potential damage threats to downstream optics caused by Gaussian mitigation pits on rear KDP surface显示文摘To determine whether a potassium dihydrogen phosphate(KDP)surface mitigated by micro-milling would potentially threaten downstream optics,we calculated the light-field modulation based on angular spectrum diffraction theory,and performed a laser damage test on downstream fused silica.The results showed that the downstream light intensification caused by a Gaussian mitigation pit of 800μm width and 10μm depth reached a peak value near the KDP rear surface,decreased sharply afterward,and eventually kept stable with the increase in downstream distance.The solved peak value of light intensification exceeded 6 in a range 8–19 mm downstream from the KDP rear surface,which is the most dangerous for downstream optics.Laser damage sites were then induced on the fused silica surface in subsequent laser damage tests.When the distance downstream was greater than 44 mm with a downstream light intensification of less than 3,there were no potential damage threats to downstream optics.The study proves that a mitigated KDP surface can cause laser damage to downstream optical components,to which attention should be paid in an actual application.Through this work,we find that the current manufacturing process and the mitigation index still need to be improved.The research methods and calculation models are also of great reference significance for related studies like optics mitigation and laser damage.Hao Yang Jian Cheng Zhichao Liu Qi Liu Linjie Zhao Chao Tan Jian Wang Mingjun Chen 2020High Power Laser Science and Engineering2020,8,4:0

Satellite communication applications include applications in data transmission services, applications in mobile communication systems, applications in video broadcast services, and applications in interactive services such as telephony. With the advancement of satellite communication technology and the improvement of satellite communication capability, the application of satellite communication is becoming more and more extensive, and the service level is getting higher and higher. In today's rapid development of terrestrial communications, satellite communications in the development of the market despite the great diffi culties and risks, and even suff ered major setbacks, but because of its irreplaceable characteristics of the decision it is still to develop and application. 20Synergistically tuning the graphitic degree,porosity,and the configuration of active sites for highly active bifunctional catalysts and Zn-air batteries显示文摘Rational design and tailoring of the structural features of Co-N-C catalysts are urgently required to construct highly efficient bifunctional non-noble metal electrocatalysts for both oxygen evolution reaction(OER)and oxygen reduction reaction(ORR).Herein,we report a series of carbon-based catalysts with varied structural features,specifically the graphitic degree of carbon,porosity,and the configuration of active sites,and their effects on bifunctional oxygen electrocatalytic reactions.Through the synergistic tuning of these structural factors,the well-tailored Co-N-C catalyst exhibits a high bifunctional electrocatalytic activity,as revealed by a half-wave potential of 0.84 V for ORR and a low overpotential of 420 mV at 10 mA·cm^(−2)for OER.More impressively,the Zn-air battery using the optimum catalyst delivers excellent performance including a peak power density of 125.2 mW·cm_(−2)and a specific capacity of 790.8 mAh·gZn^(−1),as well as stable cycling durability,outperforming the noble metalsbased catalysts.The first-principles calculations reveal that the interlayer interaction between the pyridinic N-doped graphene and the confined Co nanoparticles increases the electronic states of the active C atoms near the Fermi level,thus enhancing the adsorption of the HOO*intermediate and generating superior catalytic activity for bifunctional oxygen electrocatalysis.By comprehensively studying the structural factors of catalysts,the bifunctional catalytic behaviors,the use in a practical Zn-air device,and theoretical simulations,this work may also give inspirations to the design,use,and understanding of other kinds of catalysts.Yang Gao Debin Kong Fengli Cao Shuai Teng Tao Liang Bin Luo Bin Wang Quan-Hong Yang Linjie Zhi 2022Nano Research2022,15,9:0
