1Methylmercury and sulfate-reducing bacteria in mangrove sediments from Jiulong River Estuary,China显示文摘Estuaries are important sites for mercury (Hg) methylation,with sulfate-reducing bacteria (SRB) thought to be the main Hg methylators.Distributions of total mercury (THg) and methylmercury (MeHg) in mangrove sediment and sediment core from Jiulong River Estuary Provincial Mangrove Reserve,China were determined and the possible mechanisms of Hg methylation and their controlling factors in mangrove sediments were investigated.Microbiological and geochemical parameters were also determined.Results showed that SRB constitute a small fraction of total bacteria (TB) in both surface sediments and the profile of sediments.The content of THg,MeHg,TB,and SRB were (350±150)ng/g,(0.47±0.11)ng/g,(1.4×10 11±4.1×109)cfu/g dry weight (dw),and (5.0×106±2.7×106)cfu/g dw in surficial sediments,respectively,and (240±24)ng/g,(0.30±0.15)ng/g,(1.9×1011± 4.2×1010)cfu/g dw,and (1.3×106± 2.0×106) cfu/g dw in sediment core,respectively.Results showed that THg,MeHg,TB,MeHg/THg,salinity and total sulfur (TS) increased with depth,but total organic matter (TOM),SRB,and pH decreased with depth.Concentrations of MeHg in sediments showed significant positive correlation with THg,salinity,TS,and MeHg/THg,and significant negative correlation with SRB,TOM,and pH.It was concluded that other microbes,rather than SRB,may also act as main Hg methylators in mangrove sediments.Hao Wu Zhenhua Ding Yang Liu Jinling Liu Haiyu Yan Jiayong Pan Liuqiang Li Huina Lin Guanghui Lin Haoliang Lu 2011Journal of Environmental Sciences2011,23,1:17
2Two-dimensional optical spatial differentiation and high-contrast imaging显示文摘Optical analog signal processing technology has been widely studied and applied in a variety of science and engineering fields, with the advantages of overcoming the low-speed and high-power consumption associated with its digital counterparts. Much attention has been given to emerging metasurface technology in the field of optical imaging and processing systems. Here, we demonstrate, for the first time, broadband two-dimensional spatial differentiation and high-contrast edge imaging based on a dielectric metasurface across the whole visible spectrum. This edge detection method works for both intensity and phase objects simply by inserting the metasurface into a commercial optical microscope. 3Event-triggered neural network control of autonomous surface vehicles over wireless network显示文摘In this paper, an event-triggered neural network control method is proposed for autonomous surface vehicles subject to uncertainties and input constraints over wireless network. An event-triggered mechanism with three logic rules is employed to determine the wireless data transmission of states and control inputs. An event-driven neural network is applied to approximate the uncertainties using aperiodic sampled states. In addition, a predictor is employed to update the weights of neural network. An event-based bounded kinetic control law is applied to address the actuator constraints. The advantage of the proposed event-triggered neural network control approach is that the network traffic can be reduced while guaranteeing system stability and speed following performance. The closed-loop control system is proved to be input-tostate stable via cascade theory. The Zeno behavior can be avoided via the proposed event-triggered neural network control approach. 4Lipidomic and transcriptomic analysis reveals reallocation of carbon flux from cuticular wax into plastid membrane lipids in a glossy“Newhall”navel orange mutant显示文摘Both cuticle and membrane lipids play essential roles in quality maintenance and disease resistance in fresh fruits.Many reports have indicated the modification of alternative branch pathways in epicuticular wax mutants;however,the specific alterations concerning lipids have not been clarified thus far.Here,we conducted a comprehensive,timeresolved lipidomic,and transcriptomic analysis on the“Newhall”navel orange(WT)and its glossy mutant(MT)“Gannan No.1”.The results revealed severely suppressed wax formation accompanied by significantly elevated production of 36-carbon plastid lipids with increasing fruit maturation in MT.Transcriptomics analysis further identified a series of key functional enzymes and transcription factors putatively involved in the biosynthesis pathways of wax and membrane lipids.Moreover,the high accumulation of jasmonic acid(JA)in MT was possibly due to the need to maintain plastid lipid homeostasis,as the expression levels of two significantly upregulated lipases(CsDAD1 and CsDALL2)were positively correlated with plastid lipids and characterized to hydrolyze plastid lipids to increase the JA content.Our results will provide new insights into the molecular mechanisms underlying the natural variation of plant lipids to lay a foundation for the quality improvement of citrus fruit.Haoliang Wan Hongbo Liu Jingyu Zhang Yi Lyu Zhuoran Li Yizhong He Xiaoliang Zhang Xiuxin Deng Yariv Brotman Alisdair RFernie Yunjiang Cheng Weiwei Wen 2020Horticulture Research2020,7,1:2
5Transient characteristics verification method for DC transformer used in flexible HVDC system显示文摘Previous studies have proposed higher requirements for the transient characteristics of a DC transformer used in a flexible high-voltage direct current(HVDC) system to achieve faster sampling speed and meet wider bandwidth requirements of the control and protection signal, and to eventually suppress the large transient fault current. In this study, a transient characteristics verification method is proposed for transient characteristics verification of a DC transformer used in a flexible HVDC system based on resampling technology and LabVIEW measurement technology after analyzing the key technology for transient characteristics verification of a DC transformer. 7Highly efficient flexible perovskite solar cells with vacuum-assisted low-temperature annealed SnO2 electron transport layer显示文摘The demand for lightweight, flexible, and high-performance portable power sources urgently requires high-efficiency and stable flexible solar cells. In the case of perovskite solar cells(PSCs), most of the common electron transport layer(ETL) needs to be annealed for improving the optoelectronic properties,while conventional flexible substrates could barely stand the high temperature. Herein, a vacuumassisted annealing SnO_(2) ETL at low temperature(100℃) is utilized in flexible PSCs and achieved high efficiency of 20.14%. Meanwhile, the open-circuit voltage(V_(oc)) increases from 1.07 V to 1.14 V. The flexible PSCs also show robust bending stability with 86.8% of the initial efficiency is retained after 1000 bending cycles at a bending radius of 5 mm. X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS), atomic force microscopy(AFM), and contact angle measurements show that the density of oxygen vacancies, the surface roughness of the SnO_(2) layer, and film hydrophobicity are significantly increased, respectively. These improvements could be due to the oxygen-deficient environment in a vacuum chamber, and the rapid evaporation of solvents. 14Design and characterization of a novel Cu_(2.3)Al_(1.3)Ni_(1.7)SnCr_(0.3) multi-principal element alloy coating on magnesium alloy by laser cladding显示文摘The evaporation and dilution of substrate seriously limit the performance of laser cladding coatings on magnesium alloys.In order to overcome the above shortcomings,a multi-step ultrasonic assisted laser remelting technology was proposed to improve the performance of the coating.In this work,a novel Cu_(2.3)Al_(1.3)Ni_(1.7)SnCr_(0.3) multi-principal element alloy coating(MPEAC)was prepared on the surface of mag-nesium alloy.Characterization techniques such as transmission electron microscopy(TEM),electron back scatter diffraction(EBSD)and scanning electron microscopy(SEM)were employed to characterize the microstructure and phase composition of the coatings.And the phase structure and morphology at the interface between the coating and the substrate were also studied via focus ion beam(FIB)and TEM method.In addition,the corrosion and wear resistance ability of the coatings were monitored by potentiodynamic polarization(PDP),and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy(EIS),hardness and friction tests.The results show that Cu_(2.3)Al_(1.3)Ni_(1.7)SnCr_(0.3) MPEAC with ultrasonic assisted is composed of FCC phase and eutectic phases(Cu_(10)Sn_(3) and Cu_(2)Ni_(3)Sn_(3)).Due to the forced convection generated by ultrasonic waves,some Cu and Ni phases are precipitated around Cu_(2)Ni_(3)Sn_(3) phases,which is beneficial to enhance the corrosion resistance.Because of the grain refinement effect caused by ultrasonic,the wear resistance of the coating is also improved.Furthermore,ultrasonic vibration can effectively weaken and eliminate the texture density of the Cu_(2.3)Al_(1.3)Ni_(1.7)SnCr_(0.3) MPEAC fabricated by laser cladding.Lipeng Jiang Xiufang Cui Guo Jin Zhimin Tian Xin Wen Haoliang Tian Erbao Liu 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,21:1

16Mapping the scientific knowledge of glomalin-related soil protein with implications for carbon sequestration显示文摘Arbuscular mycorrhizal fungi(AMF)derived refractory organic matter,mainly in glomalinrelated soil protein(GRSP),stores globally significant amounts of carbon,attracting wide attention in response to climatic change.However,there is no synthesis review has been done so far toreveal global research progresses on GRSP,especially its ecological role forclimate mitigation.Here,we conducted a bibliometric analysis of the papers on GRSP research from 1998 to 2021,based on the Web of Science(WOS)Core Collection.We collected a total of 634 papers and analyzed the characteristics of publication outputs in various countries and institutions.In addition,keywords analysis was conducted to reveal the main researchdirections and hot trends in the field of GRSP.We confirmed that 1)the number of papers published per year has gradually increased since 2010,and increased sharply in 2019;2)the United States was the earliest country to conduct GRSP research,while Chinacurrently has the largest number of publications;3)relevant studies focus on the role from AMF and GRSP in soil health and plant health;4)the contribution of GRSP to soil carbon and its ecological function in mitigatingclimate change are the hotspot of research.The benefits of GRSP have become a consensus,however,the nature of glomalin and the mechanisms of GRSP-associated benefits still need to explore.As an important soil recalcitrant organic carbon,further studies are need to elucidate the land-ocean biogeochemical processes of GRSP and its contribution to global blue carbon.Shanle Liu Qizhi Wang Lu Qian Binghuang Zhang Xiangwen Chen Hualong Hong Shengjie Wu Jingchun Liu Chongling Yan Haoliang Lu 2022Ecosystem Health and Sustainability2022,8,1:0
17Safety-Critical Model-Free Control for Multi-Target Tracking of USVs with Collision Avoidance显示文摘Dear editor,This letter addresses the multi-target tracking of underactuated unmanned surface vehicles(USVs)subject to multiple stationary/moving obstacles.The kinetic model parameters of each USV are totally unknown.A safety-critical model-free control method is proposed for tracking multiple targets with a collision-free containment formation.Specifically,a distributed containment extended state observer(DCESO)is designed to estimate the convex hull spanned by the multiple targets.At the kinematic level,a collision-free kinematic guidance law is presented using a control barrier function(CBF)and an extended state observer for each follower USV.At the kinetic level,a model-free position tracking control law by using an adaptive ESO(AESO)is presented for each follower USV.By the designed safety-critical model-free control method,cooperative tracking of multiple targets under multiple stationary/moving obstacles can be achieved using completely unknown kinetic model parameters.Simulations are provided to illustrate the efficacy of the proposed safety-critical model-free control method for a fleet of USVs.Shengnan Gao Zhouhua Peng Haoliang Wang Lu Liu Dan Wang 2022IEEE/CAA Journal of Automatica Sinica2022,9,7:0
18Realizing n-type CdSb with promising thermoelectric performance显示文摘Realizing high performance in both n-type and p-type materials is essential for designing efficient ther-moelectric devices.However,the doping bottleneck is often encountered,i.e.,only one type of conduction can be realized.As one example,p-type CdSb with high thermoelectric performance has been discovered for several decades,while its n-type counterpart has rarely been reported.In this work,the calculated band structure of CdSb demonstrates that the valley degeneracy is as large as ten for the conduction band,and it is only two for the valence band.Therefore,the n-type CdSb can potentially realize an ex-ceptional thermoelectric performance.Experimentally,the n-type conduction has been successfully real-ized by tuning the stoichiometry of CdSb.By further doping indium at the Cd site,an improved room-temperature electron concentration has been achieved.Band modeling predicts an optimal electron con-centration of∼2.0×1019 cm−3,which is higher than the current experimental values.Therefore,future optimization of the n-type CdSb should mainly focus on identifying practical approaches to optimize the electron concentration.Peng Zhao Honghao Yao Shizhen Zhi Xiaojing Ma Zuoxu Wu Yijie Liu Xinyu Wang Li Yin Zongwei Zhang Shuaihang Hou Xiaodong Wang Siliang Chen Chen Chen Xi Lin Haoliang Liu Xingjun Liu Feng Cao Qian Zhang Jun Mao 2023Journal of Materials Science & Technology2023,,13:0
19Challenges and opportunities for spintronics based on spin orbit torque显示文摘Spintronic devices based on spin orbit torque(SoT)have become the most promising pathway to the nextgeneration of ultralow-power nonvolatile logic and memory applications.Typical SOT-based spintronic devices consist of two functional materials:a spin source and a magnetic material.Spin source materials possess a strong spin orbit coupling,enabling efficient interconversion between charge and spin current,Magnetic materials are used to process and archive the information via the interaction between the local magnetic moment and the spin current generated from spin source.Considerable efforts have been put into the design of materials and devices in the past decades to realize the electrical control of magnetic switching.However,a number of key challenges stll remain to be addressed for the practical application.In this paper,we reviewed the development of a range of novel materials for both the spin source and the magnetic functionalities,particularly the complex oxides and organic spintronic materials.We also discussed and highlighted several key issues,such as the mechanism and manipulation of SOT and the large-scale integration of sOT-based devices,which merit more attention in the future.Shuai Ning Haoliang Liu Jingxiong Wue Feng Luo 2022Fundamental Research2022,2,4:0
