3Infective viruses produced from full-length complementary DNA of swine vesicular disease viruses HK/70 strain显示文摘The full-length cDNA clone of swine vesicular disease virus HK/70 strain named pSVOK12 was constructed in order to study the antigenicity, replication, maturation and pathogenicity of swine vesicular disease virus. In vitro transcription RNA from pSVOK12 transfected IBRS-2 cells and the re- covered virus RNA were isolated and sequenced, then indirect hemagglutination test, indirect im- munofluorescence assays, eleectron microscope test, 50% tissue culture infecting dose (TCID50) assays and mouse virulence studies were performed to study the antigenicity and virulence of the recovered virus. The result showed that the infectious clones we ob- tained and the virus derived from pSVOK12 had the same biological properties as the parental strain HK/70. 6LncDACH1 promotes mitochondrial oxidative stress of cardiomyocytes by interacting with sirtuin3 and aggravates diabetic cardiomyopathy显示文摘Diabetic cardiomyopathy(DCM)is a common complication in diabetic patients.The molecular mechanisms of DCM remain to be fully elucidated.The intronic long noncoding RNA of DACH1(lnc DACH1)has been demonstrated to be closely associated with heart failure and cardiac regeneration.In this study,we investigated the role of lnc DACH1 in DCM and the underlying molecular mechanisms.The expression of lnc DACH1 was increased in DCM hearts and in high glucose-treated cardiomyocytes.Knockout of lnc DACH1 reduced mitochondrial oxidative stress,cell apoptosis,cardiac fibrosis and hypertrophy,and improved cardiac function in DCM mice.Overexpression of lnc DACH1 exacerbated mitochondria-derived reactive oxygen species(ROS)level and apoptosis,decreased activity of manganese superoxide dismutase(Mn-SOD);while silencing of lnc DACH1 attenuated ROS production,mitochondrial dysfunction,cell apoptosis,and increased the activity of Mn-SOD in cardiomyocytes treated with high glucose.Lnc DACH1 directly bound to sirtuin3(SIRT3)and facilitated its degradation by ubiquitination,therefore promoting mitochondrial oxidative injury and cell apoptosis in mouse hearts.In addition,SIRT3 silencing abrogated the protective effects of lnc DACH1 deficiency in cardiomyocytes.In summary,lnc DACH1 aggravates DCM by promoting mitochondrial oxidative stress and cell apoptosis via increasing ubiquitination-mediated SIRT3 degradation in mouse hearts.Inhibition of lnc DACH1 represents a novel therapeutic strategy for the intervention of diabetic cardiomyopathy.Qi Zhang Danyang Li Xue Dong Xiaowen Zhang Junwu Liu Lili Peng Bo Meng Qi Hua Xinyu Pei Lu Zhao Xiaoxi Hu Yang Zhang Zhenwei Pan Yanjie Lu Baofeng Yang 2022Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,6:4

8An improved method of absolute calibration to satellite altimeter: A case study in the Yellow Sea, China显示文摘An improved absolute calibration technology based on indirect measurements was developed through two probative experiments, the performance of which was evaluated by applying the approach to in situ sea surface height(SSH) at the Tianheng Island(tidal gauge) and the satellite nadir(GPS buoy). Using Geoid/MSS(mean sea surface) data, which accounted for a constant offset between nadir and onshore tidal gauge water levels, and TMD(tidal model driver), which canceled out the time-varying offsets, nadir SSH(sea surface height) could be indirectly acquired at an onshore tidal gauge instead of from direct offshore observation. 9Band Engineering and Morphology Control of Oxygen‑Incorporated Graphitic Carbon Nitride Porous Nanosheets for Highly Efficient Photocatalytic Hydrogen Evolution显示文摘Graphitic carbon nitride(g-C3N4)-based photocatalysts have shown great potential in the splitting of water.However,the intrinsic drawbacks of g-C3N4,such as low surface area,poor diffusion,and charge separation efficiency,remain as the bottleneck to achieve highly efficient hydrogen evolution.Here,a hollow oxygen-incorporated g-C3N4 nanosheet(OCN)with an improved surface area of 148.5 m2 g^−1 is fabricated by the multiple thermal treatments under the N2/O2 atmosphere,wherein the C–O bonds are formed through two ways of physical adsorption and doping.The physical characterization and theoretical calculation indicate that the O-adsorption can promote the generation of defects,leading to the formation of hollow morphology,while the O-doping results in reduced band gap of g-C3N4.The optimized OCN shows an excellent photocatalytic hydrogen evolution activity of 3519.6μmol g^−1 h^−1 for~20 h,which is over four times higher than that of g-C3N4(850.1μmol g^−1 h^−1)and outperforms most of the reported g-C3N4 catalysts.Yunyan Wu Pan Xiong Jianchun Wu Zengliang Huang Jingwen Sun Qinqin Liu Xiaonong Cheng Juan Yang Junwu Zhu Yazhou Zhou 2021Nano-Micro Letters2021,13,3:3
10Electroluminescence performances of 1,1-bis(4-(N,N-dimethylamino)phenyl)-2,3,4,5-tetraphenylsilole based polymers in three cathode architectures显示文摘A new silole monomer with two 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)phenyl substitutions on silicon atom as designed and synthesized.Three copolymers PF-N-HPS1,PF-N-HPS10 and PF-N-HPS20 were then obtained by copolymerizations of 2,7-fluorene derivatives with the silole monomer at feed ratios of 1%,10%,and 20%.Their UV-vis absorption,electrochemical,photoluminescent,and electroluminescent (EL) properties were investigated.PF-N-HPS possessed HOMO levels of 5.25-5.58 eV,and showed green emissions.Using PF-N-HPS as the emissive layer,three different polymer light-emitting diodes were fabricated as device A with ITO/PEDOT/PF-N-HPS/Al,device B with ITO/PEDOT/PF-N-HPS/Ba/Al,and device C with ITO/PEDOT/PF-N-HPS/TPBI/Ba/Al.For the device A,PF-N-HPS only showed very low EL efficiency of 0.06-0.33 cd/A,indicating that the Al cathode could not inject electron efficiently to the emissive polymers containing the 4-(N,N-dimethylamino)phenyl groups.For the device B,low work function Ba supplied better electron injections,and the EL efficiency could be improved to 0.85-1.44 cd/A.TPBI with a deep HOMO level of 6.2 eV could enhance electron transport and hole blocking.Thus modified recombinations and largely elevated EL efficiency of 4.56-7.96 cd/A were achieved for the device C.The separation of the emissive layer and metal cathode with the TPBI layer may also suppress exciton quenching at the cathode interface.LIU ZhiTian HU SuJun ZHANG LinHua CHEN JunWu PENG JunBiao CAO Yong 2013Science China Chemistry2013,56,8:2

12Study of a new-type of steel buckling-restrained brace显示文摘The rectangle core plate of all-steel buckling-restrained braces(BRBs) usually exhibit obvious local buckling, due to the lack of longitudinal restraint from the encasing tube. To eliminate the undesirable effects, a novel steel BRB is proposed. In this new-type steel BRB, two T-shaped steels are adopted as the minor restraint elements to restrain the core plate instead of infilled concrete or mortar. Meanwhile, the ingot-iron material with low yielding strength and high elongation is applied to the steel core to study the mechanical properties of steel BRBs. To validate the theoretical requirements for the width-to-thickness ratio of the steel core and the thickness of angle steel, quasi-static tests of eight specimens were conducted. The tests focused on the energy dissipation capacity and failure modes of the proposed steel BRBs. Nonlinear finite element analysis was also carried out to validate the experimental results. 13An imputed whole-genome sequence-based GWAS approach pinpoints causal mutations for complex traits in a specific swine population显示文摘Sequencing-based genome-wide association studies(GWAS) have facilitated the identification of causal associations between genetic variants and traits in diverse species. However, it is cost-prohibitive for the majority of research groups to sequence a large number of samples. Here, we carried out genotype imputation to increase the density of single nucleotide polymorphisms in a large-scale Swine F;population using a reference panel including 117 individuals, followed by a series of GWAS analyses. The imputation accuracies reached 0.89 and 0.86 for allelic concordance and correlation, respectively. A quantitative trait nucleotide(QTN) affecting the chest vertebrate was detected directly, while the investigation of another QTN affecting the residual glucose failed due to the presence of similar haplotypes carrying wild-type and mutant allelesin the reference panel used in this study. A high imputation accuracy was confirmed by Sanger sequencing technology for the most significant loci. Two candidate genes,CPNE5 and MYH3, affecting meat-related traits were proposed. 18Novel uniaxial concrete constitutive model considering bond-slip effect显示文摘A uniaxial concrete constitutive model considering the bond-slip effect is proposed and its finite element analysis(FEA)implementation on a fiber section of a beam-column element is presented.The tension-stiffening,crackclosing,crack-opening,cyclic degradation of the tensile capacity of reinforced concrete are modeled,which reveals the significance of energy dissipation resulting from bond slip during crack opening and closing under cyclic loading.The model is based on a simplified mechanical concept in a smeared manner and verified through quasi-static test results of X-type slender RC columns.The FEA results using a common concrete model with no consideration of bond slip present significant pinching when predicting the hysteretic loop of slender columns,which is not consistent with the test results and underestimates the capacity of energy dissipation of cracking during cyclic load.The results obtained with the proposed model show good agreement with the test results,which can reflect the degradation of stiffness and strength as well as the energy dissipation of the crack opening and closing due to the bond slip effect.Considering its simplicity and computational efficiency,it is more applicable for analyzing large-scale structures than other methods that consider the bond-slip effect,especially for slender columns,such as those used in cooling towers and subjected to seismic excitation.Liu Yongbin Dai Junwu Yang Yongqiang Jiang Tao 2020Earthquake Engineering and Engineering Vibration2020,19,3:1
