1Effects of Nitrogen Rate and Split Application Ratio on Nitrogen Use and Soil Nitrogen Balance in Cotton Fields显示文摘The Yellow River valley is one of the three largest cotton production areas in China.An experiment was performed in cotton fields of Anyang,China from 2013 to 2014 to investigate the effects of nitrogen(N) application rate and the ratio between basal and topdressing N fertilizer on N balance in a soil-plant system,N use efficiency,and cotton yield.Five N application rates as treatments were applied with the same split application ratio.Half of the N(50% basal fertilizer) was applied at pre-planting and the other half(50% topdressing fertilizer) at the initial flowering stage.These treatments were:zero N(N0,control),90 kg N ha^(-1)(N90(5/5)),180 kg N ha^(-1)(N180(5/5)),270 kg N ha^(-1)(N270(5/5),a reduced N rate),and 360 kg N ha^(-1)(N360(5/5),a conventional N rate).Additional 2 split application ratios as treatments were applied with the same N rate of 270 kg N ha^(-1).The split application ratios between basal N and topdressing N were 30%:70%(N270(3/7)) and 70%:30%(N270(7/3)).Results demonstrated that soil NH_4-N content in the 0–60 cm layer and NO3-N content in the 0–20 cm layer increased with increased N rate at the squaring and boll-opening stages and then decreased to lower levels at the initial flowering and harvest stages.Soil NO_3-N content in the 20–60 cm layer after the initial flowering stage increased with the increase of topdressing N rate.Soil apparent N surplus varied at different growth stages,while the soil apparent N surplus over the entire growth period exhibited a positive relationship at N rates over 180 kg ha^(-1).Seed cotton yield of N270(3/7) was the highest of all treatments.Plant N uptake,N agronomic efficiency,and apparent N recovery efficiency of N270(3/7) were significantly higher than those of N270(5/5) and N270(7/3) in both growing seasons.These suggest both economic and ecological benefits in cotton production in the Yellow River valley could be created,by appropriately reducing total N application rate and increasing the ratio of topdressing to basal N fertilizer at the initial flowering stage.LI Pengcheng DONG Helin LIU Aizhong LIU Jingran SUN Miao LI Yabing LIU Shaodong ZHAO Xinhua MAO Shuchun 2017Pedosphere2017,27,4:7
2A Novel Parallel Scheme for Fast Similarity Search in Large Time Series显示文摘The similarity search is one of the fundamental components in time series data mining,e.g.clustering,classification,association rules mining.Many methods have been proposed to measure the similarity between time series,including Euclidean distance,Manhattan distance,and dynamic time warping(DTW).In contrast,DTW has been suggested to allow more robust similarity measure and be able to find the optimal alignment in time series.However,due to its quadratic time and space complexity,DTW is not suitable for large time series datasets.Many improving algorithms have been proposed for DTW search in large databases,such as approximate search or exact indexed search.Unlike the previous modified algorithm,this paper presents a novel parallel scheme for fast similarity search based on DTW,which is called MRDTW(MapRedcuebased DTW).The experimental results show that our approach not only retained the original accuracy as DTW,but also greatly improved the efficiency of similarity measure in large time series.YIN Hong YANG Shuqiang MA Shaodong LIU Fei CHEN Zhikun 2015China Communications2015,12,2:6
3Effects of uranium on hydrocarbon generation of hydrocarbon source rocks with type-Ⅲ kerogen显示文摘Organic-inorganic interaction exists universally and is important in the process of mineral resources formation.It is the essential reason why organic oil,gas,coal and inorganic uranium coexist,accumulate,and mineralize in the same sedimentary basins.Hydrocarbon-generating simulation experiment was conducted using low-mature hydrocarbon source rock containing kerogen type III with uranium(UO2CO3 solution)added to study the effects of uranium on the hydrocarbon generation of hydrocarbon source rocks.Experiment results show that uranium can enhance the yield of gas hydrocarbon,promote the total gas output,and increase the total hydrocarbon production(mass or volume).Uranium may lower the hydrocarbon generation threshold temperature and lead to the generation of liquid hydrocarbon in the relative low temperature of hydrocarbon source rock.Uranium can enhance the yield of saturated hydrocarbon,promote the low molecular weight hydrocarbons generating,and in turn increase the content of CH4 and the content of dry gas of the generated hydrocarbons.Uranium is one of the potential inorganic accelerating factors of the immature hydrocarbons.MAO GuangZhou LIU ChiYang ZHANG DongDong QIU XinWei WANG JianQiang LIU BaoQuan LIU JingJiang QU ShaoDong DENG Yu WANG FeiFei ZHANG Can 2014Science China Earth Sciences2014,57,6:5
4Origin of Phosphate-bearing Carbonate Concretions in the Upper Triassic Lacustrine Black Shales of the Southern Ordos Basin,China显示文摘Carbonate concretions are conspicuous in organic-rich shales and are generally related to decomposition of organic matter.The black shales from the Chang 7 Member of the Upper Triassic Yanchang Formation of the southern Ordos Basin host abundant carbonate concretions,which provide a unique record of depositional and early diagenetic conditions of the paleo-lake sediments.However,little attention has been given to the genesis and growth processes of the concretions in these lacustrine petroleum source rocks.New petrographic observations and geochemical analysis show that the concretions are composed of calcite,phosphate fossil fragments,K-NH4-feldspar,quartz,bitumen,and minor Fe-dolomite.Phosphate minerals,mainly carbonate fluorapatite(CFA),show pervasive replacement by calcite,most of which contains phosphorus,ranging in concentration from 0.26 to 2.35 wt%.This suggests that the phosphate minerals are the precursors for concretion growth.Positiveδ13C(+5.6 to+12.4‰V-PDB)signatures and the absence of pyrite indicate that microbial methanogenesis was the dominant driver for concretion growth,rather than bacterial sulfate reduction.Quartz,bitumen,and Fe-dolomite are the last cements that occurred,at deep burial depths and high temperatures.The formation of phosphate minerals might have been induced by upwelling of phosphate-enriched deep water in the Late Triassic paleo-lake,which promoted phytoplankton blooms and further enrichment of organic matter.Extremely slow sedimentation rates of fine-grained detrital minerals,relative to dead organism accumulation,led to the high permeabilities of the organic-rich sediments and rapid concretion growth during shallow burial.The close association of phosphate-bearing carbonate concretions and organic-rich shales reflects that upwelling played a critical role in the formation of the high-quality petroleum source rocks in the Triassic paleo-Ordos lake.ZHANG Long LIU Chiyang ZHANG Dongdong QU Shaodong MA Huanhuan JIANG Chong LEI Kaiyu 2021Acta Geologica Sinica(English Edition)2021,95,3:2

7Supervised Analysis of Hepatitis C Virus RNA-Positive Case Reporting in County-Level Hospitals--China,2013−2018显示文摘What is already known on this topic?To understand the status of the diagnosis and reporting of hepatitis C and standardize the reporting of hepatitis C cases in county-level hospitals,we conducted the first supervised analysis of hepatitis C cases in county-level hospitals in China from 2013 to 2018,covering all provincial-level administrative divisions(PLADs)except Tibet.What is added by this report?Through 6 years of supervision,we have obtained key data such as the nucleic acid detection rate and positive rate of hepatitis C virus(HCV)antibody positive cases in our county-level hospitals,the report rate and accuracy of HCV RNA positive cases,and standardized and improved the hepatitis C case reporting in countylevel hospitals to improve data quality and provide data support for the judgment and estimation of hepatitis C in China.What are the implications for public health practice?By strengthening the management and supervision of hepatitis C case reporting,the reporting rate and accuracy of HCV RNA positive cases in county-level hospitals in China had been greatly improved.By combining the number of HCV antibody tests and the number of viral nucleic acid tests in medical institutions around the country,it was possible to effectively assess the current status of hepatitis C in China and to provide a scientific basis for the development of hepatitis C prevention and treatment measures.Faxin Hei Guowei Ding Shaodong Ye Hailiang Yu Lin Pang Zhongfu Liu 2020China CDC weekly2020,2,31:1

11Potassium tantalate niobate crystals:Efficient quadratic electro-optic materials and their laser modulation technology显示文摘Electro-optic(EO)crystals are important material for all-solid-state laser technology,which can be used to fabricate various laser modulators,such as EO switches,laser deflectors,and optical waveguide.The improvements in new high-efficiency EO crystal materials have held great significance to the development of laser technology.Potassium tantalate niobate(KTN)is a popular multifunctional crystal because of its remarkable and excellent quadratic EO effect.KTN EO modulation technology offers numerous advantages,such as high efficiency,good stability,a quick response time,and inertia-free characteristics.In this paper,we summarize the research progress of KTN series crystals systemically,including the theoretical exploration on quadratic EO effect,solid-melt crystal growth technique,comprehensive physical characterization,new physical effect and mechanisms exploration,new EO devices development and design.The EO modulation technique based on the Kerr effect of KTN series crystal offers obvious advantages in reducing the drive voltage and device size,which could better meet the developmental needs of future lasers with a wide wavelength,miniaturization,and integration.This may provide theoretical guidance and an experimental basis for the design and development of new EO crystal devices and promote the development of laser technology.Xuping Wang Xinguo Mao Pan Chen Qian Du Yuguo Yang Panyu Qiao Shaodong Zhang Zhijian Li Rui Zhang Bing Liu Jiyang Wang 2023Journal of Materiomics2023,9,5:1

14Photonuclear production of medical isotopes^(62,64)Cu using intense laser-plasma electron source显示文摘^(62,64)Cu are radioisotopes of medical interest that can be used for positron emission tomography(PET)imaging.Moreover,64Cu hasβ−decay characteristics that allowfor targeted radiotherapy of cancer.In the present work,a novel approach to experimentally demonstrate the production of ^(62,64)Cu isotopes fromphotonuclear reactions is proposed in which large-current laser-based electron(e−)beams are generated fromthe interaction between sub-petawatt laser pulses and near-critical-density plasmas.According to simulations,at a laser intensity of 3.431021 W/cm2,a dense e−beamwith a total charge of 100 nCcan be produced,and this in turn produces bremsstrahlung radiation of the order of 1010 photons per laser shot,in the region of the giant dipole resonance.The bremsstrahlung radiation is guided to a natural Cu target,triggering photonuclear reactions to produce themedical isotopes ^(62,64)Cu.An optimal target geometry is employed to maximize the photoneutron yield,and ^(62,64)Cuwith appropriate activities of 0.18 GBq and 0.06 GBq are obtained for irradiation times equal to their respective half-livesmultiplied by three.The detection of the characteristic energy for the nuclear transitions of ^(62,64)Cu is also studied.The results of our calculations support the prospect of producing PET isotopes with gigabecquerel-level activity(equivalent to the required patient dose)using upcoming high-intensity laser facilities.ZhiGuo Ma HaoYang Lan WeiYuan Liu ShaoDong Wu Yi Xu ZhiChao Zhu Wen Luo 2019Matter and Radiation at Extremes2019,4,6:1

20On the distinct reactivity of two isomers of[IrC_(4)H_(2)]^(+)toward methane and water显示文摘The gas-phase reactions of[IrC_(4)H_(2)]^(+)with methane and water have been explored by using mass spectrometry combined with quantum chemical calculations.Interestingly,under the employed conditions,two isomers of[IrC_(4)H_(2)]^(+)co-exist with different reactivity.One of them only activates methane while the other is solely reactive with water to produce CO.Apparently,upon varying the coordination patterns,the Ir center gains rather distinct capabilities of mediating the bond breaking and making processes.The reactivity toward methane mainly depends on the orbital orientation,while the π-aromaticity of the reaction complex matters for the conversion of water.The experimental and theoretical findings in this work not only imply the promising role the Ir atom can play in the bulk-system methane conversion,but may also be instructive on how to construct a highperformance center for steam reforming of methane.Bowei Yuan Zizhuang Liu Xiao-Nan Wu Shaodong Zhou 2022Science China Chemistry2022,65,9:0
