| 1 | WGDI:A user-friendly toolkit for evolutionary analyses of whole-genome duplications and ancestral karyotypes显示文摘Evidence of whole-genome duplications(WGDs)and subsequent karyotype changes has been detected in most major lineages of living organisms on Earth.To clarify the complex resulting multi-layered patterns of gene collinearity in genome analyses,there is a need for convenient and accurate toolkits.To meet this need,we developed WGDI(Whole-Genome Duplication Integrated analysis),a Python-based command-line tool that facilitates comprehensive analysis of recursive polyploidization events and cross-species genome alignments.WGDI supports three main workflows(polyploid inference,hierarchical inference of genomic homology,and ancestral chromosome karyotyping)that can improve the detection of WGD and characterization of WGD-related events based on high-quality chromosome-level genomes.Significantly,it can extract complete synteny blocks and facilitate reconstruction of detailed karyotype evolution.This toolkit is freely available at GitHub(http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460asqbpxfccoxv6b6qn9.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/SunPengChuan/wgdi).As an example of its application,WGDI convincingly clarified karyotype evolution in Aquilegia coerulea and Vitis vinifera following WGDs and rejected the hypothesis that Aquilegia contributed as a parental lineage to the allopolyploid origin of core dicots. | Pengchuan Sun Beibei Jiao Yongzhi Yang Lanxing Shan Ting Li Xiaonan Li Zhenxiang Xi Xiyin Wang Jianquan Liu | 2022 | Molecular Plant2022,15,12: | 5 |

| 7 | The Relationship between Mental Health Literacy and Subjective Well-Being of Young and Middle-Aged Residents: Perceived the Mediating Role of Social Support and Its Urban-Rural Differences显示文摘This study investigates mental health literacy among young and middle-aged urban and rural residents and the differences in mental health literacy,perceived social support and subjective well-being.From January to February 2022,620 participants(320 rural and 300 urban residents)from three provinces of China were selected by con-venience sampling.A general data questionnaire,mental health literacy scale,perceived social support scale and subjective well-being scale were administered.The mental health literacy scores of urban residents were 3.34±0.57 and those of rural residents were 2.73±0.79.The results of multiple regression analysis showed that the mental health literacy scores of rural residents were more significant than those of urban residents in terms of sex and age,while urban residents’mental health literacy scores were more significant than those of rural resi-dents in terms of monthly income.Mental health literacy,perceived social support and subjective well-being of young and middle-aged urban and rural residents were all positively correlated(P<0.01).While the level of mental health literacy is better among urban residents than rural residents,perceived social support plays a partial mediating role between mental health literacy and subjective well-being of both urban and rural residents,and should be the focus of researchers seeking to improve the level of well-being of residents. | Zhen Zhang Suyan Chen Xiaoxuan Wang Jun Liu Yilin Zhang Yongxia Mei Zhenxiang Zhang | 2023 | International Journal of Mental Health Promotion2023,25,4: | 1 |

| 10 | Gut microbiota links with cognitive impairment in amyotrophic lateral sclerosis: A multi-omics study显示文摘Recently, cognitive impairments(CI) and behavioral abnormalities in patients with amyotrophic lateral sclerosis(ALS) have been reported. However, the underlying mechanisms have been poorly understood. In the current study, we explored the role of gut microbiota in CI of ALS patients. We collected fecal samples from 35ALS patients and 35 healthy controls. The cognitive function of the ALS patients was evaluated using the Edinburgh Cognitive and Behavioral ALS Screen. We analyzed these samples by using 16S rRNA gene sequencing as well as both untargeted and targeted(bile acids) metabolite mapping between patients with CI and patients with normal cognition(CN). We found altered gut microbial communities and a lower ratio of Firmicutes/Bacteroidetes in the CI group, compared with the CN group. In addition, the untargeted metabolite mapping revealed that 26 and 17 metabolites significantly increased and decreased, respectively, in the CI group, compared with the CN group. These metabolites were mapped to the metabolic pathways associated with bile acids. We further found that cholic acid and chenodeoxycholic acid were significantly lower in the CI group than in the CN group. In conclusion, we found that the gut microbiota and its metabolome profile differed between ALS patients with and without CI and that the altered bile acid profile in fecal samples was significantly associated with CI in ALS patients. | 15 | 乳腺癌中肿瘤相关巨噬细胞STAT3激活与多种细胞因子及预后因素有关(英文)显示文摘Objective:The aim of this study was to investigate the correlation of STAT3 activation of tumor-associated macrophages(TAMs) and local cytokines(IL-1β,TNF-α,TGF-β and IL-12) and prognostic factors in breast cancer.Methods:TAMs in 50 primary breast cancers and macrophages in 15 normal breasts were examined by immunohistochemistry.And STAT3 DNA-binding activity of TAMs in 33/50 primary breast cancers was measured by transcription factor DNA-binding ELISA.In addition,the concentrations of IL-1β,TNF-α,TGF-β and IL-12 were measured in the 33 primary breast cancers extracts by ELISA.The correlation between STAT3 activity of TAMs and concentrations of IL-1β,TNF-α,TGF-β and IL-12 were analyzed.The correlation between STAT3 activity of TAMs and conventional clinicopathologic parameters were also evaluated.Results:The macrophages density showed a significant increase in primary breast cancers compared to normal breasts.STAT3 DNA-binding activity of TAMs in breast cancer was significantly higher than that of monocytes/macrophages from peripheral blood of the patients.Furthermore,STAT3 activity of TAMs was correlated significantly with the levels of IL-1β,TNF-α and TGF-β in breast cancer tissues.But an inverse association was observed between STAT3 activity of TAMs and IL-12.In addition,STAT3 activity of TAMs was higher in high histological type than in low histological type,and STAT3 activity of TAMs was higher in CerBb-2 positive than CerBb-2 negative.Conclusion:STAT3 activation of TAMs may be associate with increasing of IL-1β,TNF-α and TGF-β and decreasing of IL-12 in breast cancer.STAT3 activation of TAMs may also be correlated with histological grade and CerBb-2 status of breast cancer. | Zhengkui Sun Shengchun Liu Zhenxiang Yao | 2009 | The Chinese-German Journal of Clinical Oncology2009,8,7: | 0 |
| 16 | Wax from Pyrolysis of Waste Plastics as a Potential Source of Phase Change Material for Thermal Energy Storage显示文摘Over the past half-century, plastic consumption has grown rapidly due to its versatility, low cost, and unrivaled functional properties. Among the diff erent implemented strategies for recycling waste plastics, pyrolysis is deemed the most economical option. Currently, the wax obtained from the pyrolysis of waste plastics is mainly used as a feedstock to manufacture chemicals and fuels or added to asphalt for pavement construction, with no other applications of wax being reported. Herein, the thermal pyrolysis of three common waste polyolefin plastics: high-density polyethylene(HDPE), low-density polyethylene(LDPE), and polypropylene(PP), was conducted at 450 ℃. The waste plastics-derived waxes were characterized and studied for a potential new application: phase change materials(PCMs) for thermal energy storage(TES). Gas chromatography–mass spectrometry analysis showed that paraffin makes up most of the composition of HDPE and LDPE waxes, whereas PP wax contains a mixture of naphthene, isoparaffin, olefin, and paraffin. Diff erential scanning calorimetry(DSC) analysis indicated that HDPE and LDPE waxes have a peak melting temperature of 33.8 ℃ and 40.3 ℃, with a relatively high latent heat of 103.2 J/g and 88.3 J/g, respectively, whereas the PP wax was found to have almost negligible latent heat. Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy and DSC results revealed good chemical and thermal stability of HDPE and LDPE waxes after 100 cycles of thermal cycling.
