2Materials and Society:Functional Chemicals and Materials in Banknote and Security Paper显示文摘1.INTRODUCTION Banknote and security paper have a vital role in market,transaction,and commodity economies,as well as many other areas of our society.Despite the shift to electronic currency and documents,banknote,and security paper will continue to hold an important role in the future.1,2 These specialty papers must,however,maintain their competitiveness through continuous technology development in order to meet the ever-increasing demands on their properties such as the paper strength,water resistance,washing resistance,durability,printability,ink fastness,and anticounterfeiting performance.Further,security printing companies are increasingly developing new generations of banknote and security paper toward diverse,intelligent,multifunctional,and high-performance products.To address the aforementioned challenges,researchers must seek solutions in an integrated,multidisciplinary way.This viewpoint will provide a broad and systematic overview of the functional chemicals and materials used during the manufacturing of banknote and security paper.Our goal is to provide researchers with the resources and perspective that may inspire chemists and materials scientists to develop new technologies and approaches in the technological development of security paper.Haihua Wang Liyu Sun 2021Accounts of Materials Research2021,2,1:3
3Tuning the dual-active sites of ZIF-67 derived porous nanomaterials for boosting oxygen catalysis and rechargeable Zn-air batteries显示文摘The rational control of the active site of metal-organic frameworks(MOFs)derived nanomaterials is essential to build efficient bifunctional oxygen reduction/evolution reaction(ORR/OER)catalysts.Accordingly,through designing and constructing a Co_(3)O_(4)-Co heterostructure embedded in Co,N co-doped carbon polyhedra derived(Co_(3)O_(4)-Co@NC)from the in-situ compositions of ZIF-67 and cobalt nanocrystals synthesized by the strategy of in-situ NaBH4 reduction,the dual-active site(Co_(3)O_(4)-Co and Co-N_(x))is synchronously realized in a MOFs derived nanomaterials.The formed Co_(3)O_(4)-Co@NC shows excellent bifunctional electrocatalytic activity with ultra-small potential gap(ΔE=E_(j=10)(OER)–E_(1/2)(ORR))of 0.72 V,which surpasses the commercial Pt/C and RuO_(2) catalysts.The theory calculation results reveal that the excellent bifunctional electrocatalytic activity can be attributed to the charge redistribution of Co of Co-N_(x) induced by the synergistic effects of well-tuned active sites of Co_(3)O_(4)-Co nanoparticle and Co-N_(x),thus optimizing the rate-determining step of the desorption of O_(2)^(*)intermediate in ORR and OH^(*)intermediate in OER.The rechargeable Zn-air batteries with our bifunctional catalysts exhibit superior performance as well as high cycling stability.This simple-effective optimization strategy offers prospects for tuning the active site of MOF derived bifunctional catalyst in electrochemical energy devices.Zeyi Zhang Yangyang Tan Tang Zeng Liyue Yu Runzhe Chen Niancai Cheng Shichun Mu Xueliang Sun 2021Nano Research2021,14,7:3

7Theoretical simulation of performances in CIGS thin-film solar cells with cadmiumfree buffer layer显示文摘Copper indium gallium selenium(CIGS) thin film solar cells have become one of the hottest topics in solar energy due to their high photoelectric transformation efficiency.To real applications,CIGS thin film is covered by the buffer layer and absorption layer.Traditionally,cadmium sulfide(CdS) is inserted into the middle of the window layer(ZnO) and absorption layer(CIGS) as a buffer layer.However,the application of the GIGS/CdS thin film solar cells has been limited because of the environmental pollution resulting from the toxic cadmium atom.Although zinc sulfide(ZnS) has been proposed to be one of the candidates,the performance of such battery cells has not been investigated.Here,in this paper,we systematically study the possibility of using zinc sulfide(ZnS) as a buffer layer.By including the effects of thickness,concentration of a buffer layer,intrinsic layer and the absorbing layer,we find that photoelectric transformation efficiency of ZnO/ZnS(n)/CIGS(i)/CIGS(p) solar cell is about 17.22%,which is qualified as a commercial solar cell.Moreover,we also find that the open-circuit voltage is ~0.60 V,the short-circuit current is ~36.99 mA/cm^2 and the filled factor is ~77.44%.Therefore,our results suggest that zinc sulfide may be the potential candidate of CdS as a buffer layer.Kang Luo Yulin Sun Liyu Zhou Fang Wang Fang Wu 2017Journal of Semiconductors2017,38,8:0
8A boundary surrogate model for micro/nano grooved surface structure applied in turbulence flow control over airfoil显示文摘The application of grooved surface structure is an emerging and effective means in turbulence flow control.However,for a realistic configuration,the global flow field described directly by simple application of massive grids makes it unfeasible to simulate.In this paper,a boundary surrogate model reproducing the effect of microscopic near-wall region is proposed to improve computational efficiency.The surrogate model trained with Lattice Boltzmann Method(LBM)considering the rarefied effect based on real micro/nanoflow field is new among literature,which accurately shows flow characteristics of the micro/nano structure.With this approach,numerical simulations via Reynolds-averaged Navier Stokes equations with modified wall boundary condition are performed in subsonic and transonic flow.The results show that micro/nano grooved surface structure has the effect of delaying transition from laminar to turbulence,thus reducing the skin friction significantly.Analysis of turbulence intensity and turbulence kinetic energy shows that the near-wall flow field of grooved airfoil is more stable compared with that of the smooth airfoil.The reducing rate of maximum turbulent intensity reaches 13.39%.The paper shows a perspective for further application of micro/nano groove structure to turbulence flow control in aircraft design by providing an accurate and efficient simulation method.Liyue WANG Cong WANG Shuyue WANG Sheng QIN Gang SUN Bo YOU Yongjian ZHONG 2022Chinese Journal of Aeronautics2022,35,2:0

10Analysis of Architectural Art of Traditional Ancestral Hall in Ji’an Meibei Village,Jiangxi Province显示文摘The traditional architecture in Ji’an area of Jiangxi Province is known for its ancient style,dignified,and grand,distinctive hierarchy,staggered,exquisite structure,carved beams,and painted buildings,and has a long history,so that the traditional architectural form and artistic style of the region has formed a strong regional characteristics,so the authors chose the traditional ancestral hall architecture in the region as the object of study.First of all,the basic information of traditional architecture,history,and culture in Meibei ancient village in Ji’an region was collected.Secondly,using field research method,data measurement,image collection,and relevant drawings were made for traditional ancestral hall architecture in Meibei ancient village,including the architectural form,decoration,etc.of“Yongmu Hall”and“Quzhi Hall”.Finally,we analyzed,compared,and researched these representative ancestral halls in a more systematic way with the theory of art class,and came to a more objective conclusion on the artistic characteristics of ancestral hall architecture.At the same time,the research and communication of this research can enhance people’s understanding of traditional architectural culture and aesthetic inculcation in Meibei ancient village,but also for further research of Ji’an traditional residential architecture and art and inheritance and promotion of traditional national culture to provide reference.LI Yanjun WU Liyue SUN Xingzhi 2022Psychology Research2022,12,5:0
11Paradoxical effects of DNA tumor virus oncogenes on epithelium-derived tumor cell fate during tumor progression and chemotherapy response显示文摘Epstein-Barr virus(EBV)and human papillomavirus(HPV)infection is the risk factors for nasopharyngeal carcinoma and cervical carcinoma,respectively.However,clinical analyses demonstrate that EBV or HPV is associated with improved response of patients,although underlying mechanism remains unclear.Here,we reported that the oncoproteins of DNA viruses,such as LMP1 of EBV and E7 of HPV,inhibit PERK activity in cancer cells via the interaction of the viral oncoproteins with PERK through a conserved motif.Inhibition of PERK led to increased level of reactive oxygen species(ROS)that promoted tumor and enhanced the efficacy of chemotherapy in vivo.Consistently,disruption of viral oncoprotein-PERK interactions attenuated tumor growth and chemotherapy in both cancer cells and tumor-bearing mouse models.Our findings uncovered a paradoxical effect of DNA tumor virus oncoproteins on tumors and highlighted that targeting PERK might be an attractive strategy for the treatment of NPC and cervical carcinoma.Jiang He Liyu Liu Feiyu Tang You Zhou Huan Liu Can Lu Deyun Feng Hong Zhu Yitao Mao Zhi Li Lu Zhang Yuemei Duan Zhi Xiao Musheng Zeng Liang Weng Lun-Quan Sun 2021Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2021,6,12:0
12CDK11 negatively regulates Wnt/β-catenin signaling in the endosomal compartment by affecting microtubule stability显示文摘Objectives:Improper activation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling has been implicated in human diseases.Beyond the well-studied glycogen synthase kinase 3p(GSK3p)and casein kinase 1(CK1),other kinases affecting Wnt/β-catenin signaling remain to be defined.Methods:To identify the kinases that modulate Wnt/β-catenin signaling,we applied a kinase small interfering RNA(siRNA)library screen approach.Luciferase assays,immunoblotting,and real-time polymerase chain reaction(PCR)were performed to confirm the regulation o f the Wnt/β-catenin signaling pathway by cyclin-dependent kinase 11(CDK11)and to investigate the underlying mechanism.Confocal immunofluorescence,coimmunoprecipitation(co-IP),and scratch wound assays were used to demonstrate colocalization,detect protein interactions,and explore the function of CDK11.Results:CDK11 was found to be a significant candidate kinase participating in the negative control of Wnt/P-catenin signaling.Down-regulation of CDK11 led to the accumulation of Wnt/β-catenin signaling receptor complexes,in a manner dependent on intact adenomatosis polyposis coli(APC)protein.Further analysis showed that CDK11 modulation of Wnt/P-catenin signaling engaged the endolysosomal machinery,and CDK11 knockdown enhanced the colocalization of Wnt/β-catenin signaling receptor complexes with early endosomes and decreased colocalization with lysosomes.Mechanistically,CDK11 was found to function in Wnt/β-catenin signaling by regulating microtubule stability.Depletion of CDK11 down-regulated acetyl-a-tubulin.Moreover,co-IP assays demonstrated that CDK11 interacts with the a-tubulin deacetylase SIRT2,whereas SIRT2 down-regulation in CDK11-depleted cells reversed the accumulation of Wnt/(3-catenin signaling receptor complexes.CDK11 was found to suppress cell migration through altered W nt/β-catenin signaling.Conclusions:CDK11 is a negative modulator of Wnt/β-catenin signaling that stabilizes microtubules,thus resulting in the dysregulation of receptor complex trafficking from early endosomes to lysosomes.Danmin Ou Lin Chen Jiang He Zhuoxian Rong Jie Gao Liyu Liu Feiyu Tang Jiang Li Yuezhen Deng Lunquan Sun 2020Cancer Biology & Medicine2020,17,2:0

14Bioinformatic Analysis of zm ERECTA-LIKE2Gene from Zea mays显示文摘Zm ERECTA-LIKE2 sequences were isolated according to the Zea mays genome. The study indicates that zm ERECTALIKE2 is composed of 2 410 nucleotides and encodes a receptor-like kinase which consists of 774 amino acids by biological analysis. 15Textured Asymmetric Membrane Electrode Assemblies of Piezoelectric Phosphorene and Ti_(3)C_(2)T_(x)MXene Heterostructures for Enhanced Electrochemical Stability and Kinetics in LIBs显示文摘Black phosphorus with a superior theoretical capacity(2596 mAh g^(-1))and high conductivity is regarded as one of the powerful candidates for lithium-ion battery(LIB)anode materials,whereas the severe volume expansion and sluggish kinetics still impede its applications in LIBs.By contrast,the exfoliated two-dimensional phosphorene owns negligible volume variation,and its intrinsic piezoelectricity is considered to be beneficial to the Li-ion transfer kinetics,while its positive influence has not been discussed yet.Herein,a phosphorene/MXene heterostructure-textured nanopiezocomposite is proposed with even phosphorene distribution and enhanced piezo-electrochemical coupling as an applicable free-standing asymmetric membrane electrode beyond the skin effect for enhanced Li-ion storage.The experimental and simulation analysis reveals that the embedded phosphorene nanosheets not only provide abundant active sites for Li-ions,but also endow the nanocomposite with favorable piezoelectricity,thus promoting the Li-ion transfer kinetics by generating the piezoelectric field serving as an extra accelerator.By waltzing with the MXene framework,the optimized electrode exhibits enhanced kinetics and stability,achieving stable cycling performances for 1,000 cycles at 2 A g^(-1),and delivering a high reversible capacity of 524 m Ah g^(-1)at-20℃,indicating the positive influence of the structural merits of self-assembled nanopiezocomposites on promoting stability and kinetics.Yihui Li Juan Xie Ruofei Wang Shugang Min Zewen Xu Yangjian Ding Pengcheng Su Xingmin Zhang Liyu Wei Jing‑Feng Li Zhaoqiang Chu Jingyu Sun Cheng Huang 2024Nano-Micro Letters2024,16,4:0
