| 1 | Clue to a thorough understanding of terahertz pulse generation by femtosecond laser filamentation显示文摘In this work, it has been demonstrated that in order to fully understand the terahertz(THz) pulse generation process during femtosecond laser filamentation, the interaction between THz wave and air plasma has to be taken into account. This interaction is mainly associated with the spatial confinement of the THz pulse by the plasma column, which could be described by the one-dimensional negative dielectric(1DND) waveguide model. By combining the 1 DND model with the conventional four-wave mixing(4WM) and photocurrent(PC) models,the variation of THz spectral amplitude and width obtained in experiments could be better understood. | 2 | Spaceflight and simulated microgravity suppresses macrophage development via altered RAS/ERK/NFκB and metabolic pathways显示文摘Spaceflight-associated immune system weakening ultimately limits the ability of humans to expand their presence beyond the earth's orbit. A mechanistic study of microgravity-regulated immune cell function is necessary to overcome this challenge. Here, we demonstrate that both spaceflight (real) and simulated microgravity significantly reduce macrophage differentiation, decrease macrophage quantity and functional polarization, and lead to metabolic reprogramming, as demonstrated by changes in gene expression profiles. Moreover, we identified RAS/ERK/NFκB as a major microgravity-regulated pathway. Exogenous ERK and NFκB activators significantly counteracted the effect of microgravity on macrophage differentiation. In addition, microgravity also affects the p53 pathway, which we verified by RT-qPCR and Western blot. | 8 | The role of varied metal protrusions on the conductor surfaces in corona discharge subjected to DC high voltages显示文摘Conductor corona performance is significant in the evaluation of electromagnetic environment for high voltage power transmission lines. The influence of artificial contaminated conductors on corona discharge was studied and turned out to be complicated. The ionized field strength on the corona cage was measured by field mill. Meanwhile, photos of corona plumes were photographed and grayed to quantitate the corona discharge intensity. Subsequently, a calculation model for equivalent electric field strength coefficient was established to evaluate the discharge intensity of conductors in coaxial cylindrical electrode. It could be found the computational results achieved an agreement with the observed experimental phenomena. By means of simulation results, a reasonable explanation was given to the finding that the closer the distance between the two protrusions was, the lower the corona discharge intensity and higher corona inception voltage of the conductors would be. Corona cage is one of the indispensable equipments for conductor corona performance researches. Tests of conductor co- rona characteristics in corona cages can overcome the shortages of those with test lines.The dimensions of several corona cages constructed overseas were introduced in this paper. Based on foreign experiences and the requirement of State Grid Corporation of China, the UHVDC corona cage was designed as double-cage, double-layer, three-sections, and catenary shape with the size of 70 m×22 m×13 m. The corona loss measurement system, radio interference measuring system, and the audible noise measuring system are also detailed, including the measurement theory, connection with the cage, the parameters and the designing basis. The UHVDC corona cage has been put into service.
