| 3 | Organosilicon-group-derived silica-ionogel electrolyte for lithium ion batteries显示文摘In order to avoid leakage problem caused by liquid electrolyte, a new ionogel electrolyte was developed by in situ immobilizing organosilicon-functionalized ionic liquid within a nanoporous silica matrix. The ionic liquid evenly coats on the surface of porous silica and fills in the silica framework pores with no strong chemical interaction.The ionogel electrolyte has the dual advantages of a silica solid support and a wide electrochemical stability window of ionic liquid(4.87 V vs. Li^+/Li). The half-cells assembled with this electrolyte and LiFePO_4 electrode have excellent performance at room temperature and 60 ℃. | 4 | Compound from Magnolia officinalis Ameliorates White Matter Injury by Promoting Oligodendrocyte Maturation in Chronic Cerebral Ischemia Models显示文摘Chronic cerebral hypoperfusion leads to white matter injury(WMI),which subsequently causes neurodegeneration and even cognitive impairment.However,due to the lack of treatment specifically for WMI,novel recognized and effective therapeutic strategies are urgently needed.In this study,we found that honokiol and magnolol,two compounds derived from Magnolia officinalis,significantly facilitated the differentiation of primary oligodendrocyte precursor cells(OPCs)into mature oligodendrocytes,with a more prominent effect of the former compound.Moreover,our results demonstrated that honokiol treatment improved myelin injury,induced mature oligodendrocyte protein expression,attenuated cognitive decline,promoted oligodendrocyte regeneration,and inhibited astrocytic activation in the bilateral carotid artery stenosis model.Mechanistically,honokiol increased the phosphorylation of serine/threonine kinase(Akt)and mammalian target of rapamycin(mTOR)by activating cannabinoid receptor 1 during OPC differentiation.Collectively,our study indicates that honokiol might serve as a potential treatment for WMI in chronic cerebral ischemia. | Zhi Zhang Xin Shu Qian Cao Lushan Xu Zibu Wang Chenggang Li Shengnan Xia Pengfei Shao Xinyu Bao Liang Sun Yuhao Xu Yun Xu | 2023 | Neuroscience Bulletin2023,39,10: | 1 |
| 5 | G3BP2 regulates oscillatory shear stress-induced endothelial dysfunction显示文摘GTPase-activating SH3 domain-binding protein 2(G3BP2)is a mediator that responds to environmental stresses through stress granule formation and is involved in the progression of chronic diseases.However,no studies have examined the contribution of G3BP2 in the oscillatory shear stress(OSS)-induced endothelial dysfunction.Here we assessed the effects of G3BP2 in endothelial cells(ECs)function and investigated the underlying mechanism.Using shear stress apparatus and partial ligation model,we identified that stress granulerelated genes in ECs could be induced by OSS with RNA-seq,and then confirmed that G3BP2 was highly and specifically expressed in athero-susceptible endothelia in the OSS regions.G3bp2e/eApoee/e mice had significantly decreased atherosclerotic lesions associated with deficiency of G3BP2 in protecting endothelial barrier function,decreasing monocyte adhesion to ECs and inhibiting the proinflammatory cytokine levels.Furthermore,loss of G3BP2 diminished OSS-induced inflammation in ECs by increasing YAP nucleocytoplasmic shuttling and phosphorylation.These data demonstrate that G3BP2 is a critical OSS regulated gene in regulating ECs function and that G3BP2 inhibition in ECs is a promising atheroprotective therapeutic strategy. | Tianhan Li Juhui Qiu Tingting Jia Yinming Liang Kun Zhang Wenhua Yan Zhengjun Hou Shiwei Yang Lushan Liu Wenhao Xiong Yaokai Chen Guixue Wang | 2022 | Genes & Diseases2022,9,6: | 1 |
| 6 | Three new shRNA expression vectors targeting the CYP3A4 coding sequence to inhibit its expression显示文摘RNA interference(RNAi)is useful for selective gene silencing.Cytochrome P4503A4(CYP3A4),which metabolizes approximately 50% of drugs in clinical use,plays an important role in drug metabolism.In this study,we aimed to develop a short hairpin RNA(shRNA)to modulate CYP3A4 expression.Three new shRNAs(S1,S2 and S3)were designed to target the coding sequence(CDS)of CYP3A4,cloned into a shRNA expression vector,and tested in different cells.The mixture of three shRNAs produced optimal reduction(55%)in CYP3A4 CDS-luciferase activity in both CHL and HEK293 cells.Endogenous CYP3A4 expression in HepG2 cells was decreased about 50%at both mRNA and protein level after transfection of the mixture of three shRNAs.In contrast,CYP3A5 gene expression was not altered by the shRNAs,supporting the selectivity of CYP3A4 shRNAs.In addition,HepG2 cells transfected with CYP3A4 shRNAs were less sensitive to Ginkgolic acids,whose toxic metabolites are produced by CYP3A4.These results demonstrate that vector-based shRNAs could modulate CYP3A4 expression in cells through their actions on CYP3A4 CDS,and CYP3A4 shRNAs may be utilized to define the role of CYP3A4 in drug metabolism and toxicity. | Siyun Xu Yongsheng Xiao Li Li Lushan Yu Huidi Jiang Aiming Yu Su Zeng | 2014 | Acta Pharmaceutica Sinica B2014,4,5: | 0 |
| 7 | Preparation of highly preferred orientation TiB_2 coatings显示文摘This paper focuses on the preparation of titanium diboride (TiB2) coatings on the graphite substrate by continuous current plating (CCP) and pulse current plating (PIC) electrochemical techniques in fluoride electrolytes (LiF-NaF-KF) containing K2TiF6 and KBF4 as the electrochemically-active components at 700°C. Thick leveled and uniform coatings were obtained and were composed of relatively pure TiB2. The effect of the experimental parameters on the microstructure of the coatings was studied. The results showed the electrodeposition with PIC produced coatings with better quality, when compared with those obtained by CCP, under the conditions of the current density i = 0.6 A/cm2, frequency = 100 Hz, and ton/toff = 4/1. XRD analysis indicated that the preferred orientation of coatings is (110) plane, which is in accordance with the prediction of the two-dimensional crystal nuclei theory. | 9 | Enhancement of extracellular Cr(Ⅵ) reduction for anammox recovery using hydrazine: performance, pathways, and mechanism显示文摘The hexavalent chromium(Cr(Ⅵ))would frequently impose inhibition to anaerobic ammonium oxidation(anammox)process,hindering the efficiency of nitrogen removal in wastewater treatment.Hydrazine(N2H4),which is an intermediate product of anammox,participates in intracellular metabolism and extracellular Cr(Ⅵ)reduction.However,the roles of N_(2)H_(4)-induced intracellular metabolism and extracellular reduction in nitrogen removal under Cr(Ⅵ)stress remain unclear.The addition of 3.67 mg/L of N2H4 increased the anammox activity by 17%.As an intermediate,N2H4 enhanced anammox metabolism by increasing the heme c content and electron transfer system activity.As a reductant,N_(2)H_(4) accelerated the reduction of c-Cyts-mediated extracellular Cr(Ⅵ)to the less toxic Cr(Ⅲ).Extracellular Cr(Ⅲ)accounts for 74%of the total Cr in a Cr(Ⅵ)-stressed anammox consortia.These findings highlight that N_(2)H_(4)-induced extracellular Cr(Ⅵ)reduction is the dominant mechanism for the survival of anammox consortia.We also found that N_(2)H_(4) increased the production of extracellular polymeric substances to sequester excessive Cr(Ⅵ)and produced Cr(Ⅲ).Taken together,the study findings suggest a potential strategy for enhancing nitrogen removal from ammonium-rich wastewater contaminated with Cr(Ⅵ). | Caiyan Qu Lushan Li Fan Feng Kainian Jiang Xing Wu Muchuan Qin Jia Tang Xi Tang Ruiyang Xiao Di Wu Chongjian Tang | 2023 | Frontiers of Environmental Science & Engineering2023,17,9: | 0 |
| 10 | Experimental characterization and mechanism of hydraulic pulsation waves driving microscopic residual oil显示文摘To clarify microscopic mechanisms of residual oil displacement by hydraulic pulsation wave,microscopic visualization experiments of hydraulic pulsation wave driving residual oil were carried out by using the microscopic visualization device of pulsating water drive.For the four types of residual oil left in the reservoir after water flooding,i.e.membrane,column,cluster,and blind end residual oils,hydraulic pulsation waves broke the micro-equilibrium of the interface by disturbing the oil-water interface,so that the injected water invaded into and contacted with the remaining oil in small pores and blind holes,and the remaining oil was pushed or stripped to the mainstream channel by deformation superposition effect and then carried out by the injected water.In the displacement,the pulsation frequency mainly affected the cluster and blind end remaining oil,and the hydraulic pulsation wave with a frequency of about 1 Hz had the best effect in improving the recovery.The pulsation amplitude value mainly affected the membrane and column residual oil,and the larger the amplitude value,the more remaining oil the hydraulic pulsation wave would displace.The presence of low intensity continuous flow pressure and holding pressure end pressure promoted the concentration of pulsating energy and greatly improve the recovery of cluster residual oil.The rise in temperature made the hydraulic pulsation wave work better in displacing remaining oil,improving the efficiency of oil flooding. | WU Feipeng LI Na YANG Wei CHEN Jiahao DING Bujie XIA Lei LIU Jing WANG Cong WANG Lushan | 2022 | Petroleum Exploration and Development2022,49,6: | 0 |
