| 3 | Bioassay-Guided Extraction of Crude Fucose-Containing Sulphated Polysaccharides from Sargassum fusiforme with Response Surface Methodology显示文摘The response surface methodology(RSM) combined with bioassays was employed to optimize the extraction process of crude fucose-containing sulphated polysaccharides(c FCSP) from Sargassum fusiforme. The central composite design(CCD) was used with four variables, five levels, and four responses. The four variables were p H value of hydrochloric acid solution, extraction temperature(℃), ratio of liquid to raw material(m L g^(-1)), and extraction time(h), respectively. Chemical and bioassay indices were used in combination as the response parameters, which included the yield of c FCSP, fucose content, proliferation rate of spleen cells, and lipopolysaccharide-induced proliferation of splenocytes. The experimental data were fitted to a second-order polynomial equation using multiple regression analysis, and examined using the appropriate statistical methods. The best extraction conditions were as follows: the p H value of hydrochloric acid solution was 3.50; the extraction temperature was 100℃; the ratio of liquid to raw material was 15.00 m L g^(-1) and the extraction time was 2.50 h. The experimental yield was close to the predicted from the model. The extract could promote spleen lymphocyte proliferation, especially the lipopolysaccharide-induced lymphocyte proliferation in vitro, which suggested that its immunomodulatory effect on B lymphocytes. | 6 | Regulating the morphology of fluorinated non-fullerene acceptor and polymer donor via binary solvent mixture for high efficiency polymer solar cells显示文摘Fluorinated non-fullerene acceptors(NFAs) usually have planar backbone and a higher tendency to crystallize compared to their non-fluorinated counterparts, which leads to enhanced charge mobility in organic solar cells(OSCs). However, this selforganization behavior may result in excessive phase separation with electron donors and thereby deteriorate device efficiency.Herein, we demonstrate an effective approach to tune the molecular organization of a fluorinated NFA(INPIC-4 F), and its phase separation with the donor PBDB-T, by varying the casting solvent. A prolonged film drying time encourages the crystallization of INPIC-4 F into spherulites and consequently results in excessive phase separation, leading to a low device power conversion efficiency(PCE) of 8.1%. Contrarily, a drying time leads to fine mixed domains with inefficient charge transport properties,resulting in a moderate device PCE of 11.4%. An intermediate film drying time results in the formation of face-on π-π stacked PBDB-T and INPIC-4 F domains with continuous phase-separated networks, which facilitates light absorption, exciton dissociation as well as balanced charge transport towards the electrode, and achieves a remarkable PCE of 13.1%. | 8 | Synthetic poly-dioxolane as universal solid electrolyte interphase for stable lithium metal anodes显示文摘Lithium (Li) metal is a promising anode for the next generation high-energy–density batteries. However, the growth of Li dendrites, low coulombic efficiency and dramatic volume change limit its development. Here, we report a new synthetic poly-dioxolane (PDOL) approach to constructing an artificial 'elastic' SEI to stabilize the Li/electrolyte interface and the Li deposition/dissolution behavior in a variety of electrolytes. By coating PDOL with optimized molecular weights and synthetic routes on Li metal anode, the 'elastic' SEI layer could be maintained on top of the Li metal anode to accommodate the Li deposition/dissolution. No dendrite formation was observed during the cycling process, and the interfacial side reactions were reduced significantly. Consequently, we successfully achieved 330 cycles with a CE of 98.4% in ether electrolytes and 90 cycles with a CE of 94.3% in carbonate electrolytes. Simultaneously, the Li-metal batteries with LiFePO_(4) as cathodes also exhibited improved cycling performance. | 19 | Mechanical design of a low β superconducting elliptical cavity for CSNS-II显示文摘Background A lowβsuperconducting elliptical cavity was designed for the China Spallation Neutron Source phase II project(CSNS-II).Methods The method to improve the mechanical stability of the lowβsuperconducting elliptical cavity was introduced,and the corresponding mechanical design was given.The software COMSOL Multiphysics and ANSYS APDL were used to calculate the static Lorentz force detuning factor k_(L)(LFD)and the helium pressure sensitivity factor k_(p)(DFDP)of the bare cavity,which were−4.71 Hz(MV/m)^(−2) and−21.1 Hz/mbar,respectively.The double-ring stiffeners reinforcement scheme was adopted.Results The radii of the double-ring stiffeners were 70 and 135 mm,respectively.The structure design of the helium vessel of the cavity was given.The following is the mechanical parameters of the reinforced cavity,the tuning sensitivity is 199.8 kHz/mm,longitudinal stiffness is 4.76kN/mm,k_(L) and k_(p) were−1.39 Hz(MV/m)^(−2) and 4.67 Hz/mbar,respectively,which met the operating requirements.The tuning sensitivity and stiffness of the reinforced cavity with different wall thicknesses were optimized,and the final wall thickness was selected as 4 mm.Conclusion The mechanical design of CSNS-II 648 MHz five-cell lowβsuperconducting elliptical cavity was introduced systematically in the paper.The LFD,DFDP,and the maximum surface stress of the cavity were reduced by optimizing the cavity wall thickness and the position of the double-ring stiffeners.The reinforced cavity met operational requirements. | Peihua Qu Huachang Liu Yun Wang Bo Li Xiaolei Wu Ahong Li Mengxu Fan Qiang Chen Jun Peng | 2021 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2021,5,3: | 0 |
| 20 | Potassium alleviated high nitrogen-induced apple growth inhibition by regulating photosynthetic nitrogen allocation and enhancing nitrogen utilization capacity显示文摘There is a close relationship between potassium(K)and nitrogen(N).However,the roles of K under high N conditions remain unclear.Using a hydroponics approach,we monitored the morphological,physiological,and molecular changes in M9T337 apple(Malus domestica)rootstocks under different nitrate(10 and 30 mmol·L^(-1)NO_(3)^(-))and K supply(0.5,6,10,and 20 mmol·L_(-1)K^(+))conditions.Results revealed that high nitrate inhibited the root growth of M9T337 rootstocks,downregulated the expressions of K transporter genes(MdPT5,MdHKT1,and MdATK1),and reduced the net NO3-and K+influx at the surface of roots,thereby resulting in an N/K imbalance in rootstocks.Further investigation showed that 10 mmol·L^(-1)K increased the activity of N metabolic enzymes(NR,GS,NiR,and GOGAT),upregulated the expressions of genes related to nitrate uptake and transport(MdNRT1.1,MdNRT1.2,MdNRT1.5,and MdNRT2.4),promoted15N transport from the roots to the shoots,optimized leaf N distribution,and improved photosynthetic N utilization efficiency under high nitrate conditions.These results suggest that the negative effects of high nitrate may be related to the N/K imbalance and that reducing N/K in plants by increasing K supply level can effectively alleviate the inhibition of N assimilation by high nitrate stress. | Xinxiang Xu Guangyuan Liu Jingquan Liu Mengxue Lyu Fen Wang Yue Xing Hao Meng Min Li Yu Jiang Ge Tian Zhanling Zhu Yuanmao Jiang Shunfeng Ge | 2024 | Horticultural Plant Journal2024,10,1: | 0 |
