1Petrogenesis and tectonic implications of early Paleozoic granitoids in East Kunlun belt: Evidences from geochronology, geochemistry and isotopes显示文摘The East Kunlun Orogenic Belt(EKOB) provides an important link to reconstruct the evolution of the Proto-Tethys and Paleo-Tethys realm. The EKOB is marked by widespread Early Paleozoic magmatism.Here we report the petrology, bulk geochemistry, zircon Ue Pb dating and, Lue Hf and SreN d isotopic data of the Early Paleozoic granitic rocks in Zhiyu area of the southern EKOB. Based on the zircon U-Pb dating, these granitoids, consisting of diorite, granodiorite and monzogranite, were formed during 450 -430 Ma the Late Ordovician to Middle Silurian. The diorite and granodiorite are high Sr/Y ratio as adakitic affinities, and the monzogranite belongs to highly fractionated I-type. Their(^(87)Sr/^(86)Sr)ivalues range from 0.7059 to 0.7085, εNd(t) values from -1.6 to -6.0 and the zircon εHf(t) values show large variations from +9.1 to -8.6 with Hf model ages(T_(DM2)) about 848 Ma and 1970 Ma. The large variations of whole-rock Nd and zircon Hf isotopes demonstrate strong isotopic heterogeneity of the source regions which probably resulted from multi-phase underplating of mantle-derived magmas. Geochemical and isotopic studies proved that the diorite and granodiorite had been derived from partial melting of heterogeneous crustal source with variable contributions from ancient continental crust and juvenile components, and the monzogranites were representing fractional crystallization and crustal contamination for arc magma. The Early Paleozoic adakitic rocks and high-K calc-alkaline granitoids in the southern EKOB were likely emplaced in a continental marginal arc setting possibly linked to the southwards subduction of the Paleo Kunlun Ocean and the magma generation is linked to partial melting of thickened continental crust induced by underplating of mantle-derived magmas.Guochen Dong Mingfei Luo Xuanxue Mo Zhidan Zhao Liangqiong Dong Xuehui Yu Xin Wang Xiaowei Li Xiongfei Huang Yanbin Liu 2018Geoscience Frontiers2018,9,5:10

4Predicting densities and elastic moduli of SiO_(2)-based glasses by machine learning显示文摘Chemical design of SiO_(2)-based glasses with high elastic moduli and low weight is of great interest.However,it is difficult to find a universal expression to predict the elastic moduli according to the glass composition before synthesis since the elastic moduli are a complex function of interatomic bonds and their ordering at different length scales.Here we show that the densities and elastic moduli of SiO_(2)-based glasses can be efficiently predicted by machine learning(ML)techniques across a complex compositional space with multiple(>10)types of additive oxides besides SiO_(2).Our machine learning approach relies on a training set generated by high-throughput molecular dynamic(MD)simulations,a set of elaborately constructed descriptors that bridges the empirical statistical modeling with the fundamental physics of interatomic bonding,and a statistical learning/predicting model developed by implementing least absolute shrinkage and selection operator with a gradient boost machine(GBM-LASSO).Yong-Jie Hu Ge Zhao Mingfei Zhang Bin Bin Tyler Del Rose Qian Zhao Qun Zu Yang Chen Xuekun Sun Maarten de Jong Liang Qi 2020npj Computational Materials2020,,1:2

7Simultaneous Optimization of Efficiency,Stretchability,and Stability in All-Polymer Solar Cells via Aggregation Control显示文摘With the emergence of Y-series small molecule acceptors,polymerizing the small molecule acceptors with aromatic linker units has attracted significant research attention,which has greatly advanced the photovoltaic performance of all-polymer solar cells.Despite the rapid increase in efficiency,the unique characteristics(e.g.,mechanical stretchability and flexibility)of all-polymer systems were still not thoroughly explored.In this work,we demonstrate an effective approach to simultaneously improve device performance,stability,and mechanical robustness of all-polymer solar cells by properly suppressing the aggregation and crystallization behaviors of polymerized Y-series acceptors.Strikingly,when introducing 50 wt%PYF-IT(a fluorinated version of PY-IT)into the well-known PM6:PY-IT system,the all-polymer devices delivered an impressive photovoltaic efficiency of 16.6%,significantly higher than that of the control binary cell(15.0%).Compared with the two binary systems,the optimal ternary blend exhibits more efficient charge separation and balanced charge transport accompanying with less recombination.Moreover,a high-performance 1.0 cm^(2)large-area device of 15%efficiency was demonstrated for the optimized ternary all-polymer blend,which offered a desirable PCE of 14.5%on flexible substrates and improved mechanical flexibility after bending 1000 cycles.Notably,these are among the best results for 1.0 cm^(2)all-polymer OPVs thus far.This work also heralds a bright future of all-polymer systems for flexible wearable energy-harvesting applications.Kaihu Xian Kangkang Zhou Mingfei Li Junwei Liu Yaowen Zhang Tao Zhang Yong Cui Wenchao Zhao Chunming Yang Jianhui Hou Yanhou Geng Long Ye 2023Chinese Journal of Chemistry2023,41,2:1

10Are matrix isolated species really “isolated”? Infrared spectroscopic and theoretical studies of noble gas-transition metal oxide complexes显示文摘In this review, we summarize our recent results on matrix isolation infrared spectroscopic studies and theoretical investigations of noble gas-transition metal oxide complexes. The results show that some transition metal oxide species trapped in solid noble gas matrices are chemically coordinated by one or multiple noble gas atoms forming noble gas complexes and, hence, cannot be regarded as isolated species. Noble gas coordination alters the vibrational frequencies as well as the geometric and electronic structures of transition metal oxide species trapped in solid noble gas matrixes. The interactions between noble gas atoms and transition metal oxides involve ion-induced dipole interactions as well as chemical bonding interactions. 11Co-thermal in-situ reduction of inorganic carbonates to reduce carbon-dioxide emission显示文摘Thermal decomposition of inorganic metal carbonates is the main path to prepare metal oxides;nonetheless,it is always accompanied by the emission of large amounts of CO_(2) as one of the gas products.This study reports a concept of co-thermal insitu reduction of inorganic carbonates by using the energy released by carbonate decomposition under pure hydrogen atmosphere,which reduces the decarboxylation temperature and significantly inhibits the CO_(2) emissions.A combination of hydrogen–deuterium exchange,isotope experiment,and density functional theory calculations demonstrates that the CO results from the selective cleavage of Ca–O bonds at the surface of CaCO_(3) via the direct hydrogenation mechanism at relatively low temperature.However,it undergoes the reverse water–gas shift reaction path at high temperature,i.e.,CO being produced by the reduction of CO_(2) released by the decomposition of carbonates.This study sheds light on the potential of green hydrogen technology for inorganic carbonate valorization toward high value-added products,which can facilitate the large-scale industrial applications.Zhen Xue Jingyi Guo Shasha Wu Wenfu Xie Yujing Fu Xiaojie Zhao Kui Fan Ming Xu Hong Yan Mingfei Shao Xue Duan 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,4:0
12Refining acceptor aggregation in nonfullerene organic solar cells to achieve high efficiency and superior thermal stability显示文摘With the rapid increase in photoelectric conversion efficiency of organic photovoltaics(OPVs),prolonging the operational lifetime of devices becomes one of the critical prerequisites for commercial applications.Guided by the theoretical calculations of molecular stacking and miscibility,we proposed an effective approach to simultaneously improve device performance and thermal stability of high-efficiency OPVs by refining the aggregation of Y-series acceptors.The key to this approach is deliberately designing an asymmetric Y-series acceptor,named Y6-CNO,which acts as a third component regulator to finely tune the degree of acceptor aggregation and crystallization in the benchmark PM6:Y6-BO system.Strikingly,a champion photovoltaic efficiency of 18.0%was achieved by introducing 15 wt%Y6-CNO into the PM6:Y6-BO system,significantly higher than the control binary cell(16.7%).Moreover,annealing at 100°C for over 1,200 h does not markedly affect the photovoltaic performance of the optimal ternary devices,maintaining above 95%of the initial performance and exhibiting an exceptionally high T_(80)lifetime of 9,000 h under continuous thermal annealing.By contrast,binary devices suffer from excessive crystallization of acceptors with long-term annealing.Additionally,mixing thermodynamics combined with morphological characterizations were employed to elucidate the microstructure-thermal stability relationships.The ternary OPVs consisting of symmetric and asymmetric homologous acceptors form better charge transport channels and can effectively suppress excessive aggregation of acceptors under long-term annealing.This work demonstrates the effectiveness of refining acceptor aggregation via molecular design for highly efficient and stable nonfullerene-based OPVs.Kaihu Xian Shengnan Zhang Ye Xu Junwei Liu Kangkang Zhou Zhongxiang Peng Mingfei Li Wenchao Zhao Yu Chen Zhuping Fei Jianhui Hou Yanhou Geng Long Ye 2023Science China Chemistry2023,66,1:0
13Dramatic femtosecond nonlinear absorption at a strongly coupled porphyrin-graphene nanoconjugate显示文摘Edge-functionalization of graphene is emerging as a powerful chemical method for the construction ofπ-delocalized highlyplanar graphene nanoconjugates that are not accessible through surface-supported syntheses.Herein,a graphene-porphyrin nanoconjugate via a robust pyrazine(pz)linkage has been obtained by condensing 2,3-diamino-5,10,15,20-tetraphenylporphyrin(DA-TPP)with ortho-quinone(o-quinone)moieties at edge sites of graphene oxide(GO).The as-prepared GO-pz-TPP exhibits an intense absorption extending from 375 to 900 nm and a high quenching yield(98%)of fluorescence,indicating a strong electronic coupling effect between GO and TPP units.GO-pz-TPP displays strong nonlinear optical(NLO)absorption and giant NLO coefficients with 800 and 1,030 nm fs laser,in sharp contrast to traditional graphene-porphyrin nanohybrids only NLO-active towards ns laser.Such a dramatic NLO performance towards femtosecond pulsed laser has not been achieved in any carbonchromophores nanohybridized materials to date.This work validates theπ-extended edge-functionalization strategy as a means to tune the NLO properties of graphene,thereby providing a new paradigm for the assembly of versatile optoelectronic materials.Lulu Fu Yan Fang Zihao Guan Zhiyuan Wei Rui Yang Naying Shan Fang Liu Yang Zhao Mingfei Zhang Zhipeng Huang Mark GHumphrey Chi Zhang 2023Nano Research2023,16,4:0

15Nanostructure and reactivity of soot from biofuel 2,5-dimethylfuran pyrolysis with CO_(2) additions显示文摘This paper investigated the nanostructure and oxidation reactivity of soot generated from biofuel 2,5-dimethylfuran pyrolysis with different CO_(2) additions and different temperatures in a quartz tube flow reactor.The morphology and nanostructure of soot samples were characterized by a low and a high resolution transmission electron spectroscopy(TEM and HRTEM)and an X-ray diffraction(XRD).The oxidation reactivity of these samples was explored by a thermogravimetric analyzer(TGA).Different soot samples were collected in the tail of the tube.With the increase of temperature,the soot showed a smaller mean particle diameter,a longer fringe length,and a lower fringe tortuosity,as well as a higher degree of graphization.However,the variation of soot nanostructures resulting from different CO_(2) additions was not linear.Compared with 0%,50%,and 100%CO_(2) additions at one fixed temperature,the soot collected from the 10%CO_(2) addition has the highest degree of graphization and crystallization.At three temperatures of 1173 K,1223 K,and 1273 K,the mean values of fringe length distribution displayed a ranking of 10%CO_(2)>100%CO_(2)>50%CO_(2) while the mean particle diameters showed the same order.Furthermore,the oxidation reactivity of different soot samples decreased in the ranking of 50%CO_(2) addition>100%CO_(2) addition>10%CO_(2) addition,which was equal to the ranking of mean values of fringe tortuosity distribution.The result further confirmed the close relationship between soot nanostructure and oxidation reactivity.Lijie ZHANG Kaixuan YANG Rui ZHAO Mingfei CHEN Yaoyao YING Dong LIU 2022Frontiers in Energy2022,16,2:0
16Elevational patterns and ecological determinants of mean family age of angiosperm assemblages in temperate forests within Mount Taibai, China显示文摘Aims Species assembly is shaped by the interactions among ecological and evolutionary processes.By integrating the niche conservatism and evolutionary history,the tropical niche conservatism hypoth-esis(TCH)has clarified species latitudinal diversity gradient at large scales.One of the TCH’s central predictions,though lack-ing empirical evidence,implies that positive relationship between clade age and temperature along the altitudinal gradient should also be observed.Thus,we aim to test this prediction using a data set derived from forest communities of Mt.Taibai,central China.Methods We systematically established 49 plots(20 m×30 m)along the north slope on Mt.Taibai,China.We calculated the mean family age(MFA)and its corresponding standardized values through rarefi-cation and standardization,for woody and herbaceous angiosperm assemblages in each community respectively.Generalized linear models with Akaike weight and correlation analysis was used to evaluate the relationships between MFA with seven environmental predictors.Important Findings For both woody and herbaceous assemblages,the standardized MFA showed significant decreasing tendencies along the eleva-tional gradient and positive associations with minimum temperature(measured as mean temperature of the coldest month).Additionally,minimum temperature is the dominant predictor compared with the others in the regression models.These findings are generally con-sistent with the age-related predictions of the TCH,but are contrary to the results of related studies conducted in tropical regions.Mingfei Zhao Yuhang Wang Feng Xue Wanyi Zuo Kaixiong Xing Guoyi Wang Muyi Kang Yuan Jiang 2018Journal of Plant Ecology2018,11,6:0
17ARoad Segmentation Model Based on Mixture of the Convolutional Neural Network and the Transformer Network显示文摘Convolutional neural networks(CNN)based on U-shaped structures and skip connections play a pivotal role in various image segmentation tasks.Recently,Transformer starts to lead new trends in the image segmentation task.Transformer layer can construct the relationship between all pixels,and the two parties can complement each other well.On the basis of these characteristics,we try to combine Transformer pipeline and convolutional neural network pipeline to gain the advantages of both.The image is put into the U-shaped encoder-decoder architecture based on empirical combination of self-attention and convolution,in which skip connections are utilized for localglobal semantic feature learning.At the same time,the image is also put into the convolutional neural network architecture.The final segmentation result will be formed by Mix block which combines both.The mixture model of the convolutional neural network and the Transformer network for road segmentation(MCTNet)can achieve effective segmentation results on KITTI dataset and Unstructured Road Scene(URS)dataset built by ourselves.Codes,self-built datasets and trainable models will be available on http://gffzz188fe103f8f1460as9fu6fkcq5oqx6cno.ffgz.tsg.suse.edu.cn/xflxfl1992/MCTNet.Fenglei Xu Haokai Zhao Fuyuan Hu Mingfei Shen Yifei Wu 2023Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2023,,5:0
