| 2 | Estimation of correction coefficients for measured coal bed methane contents显示文摘Improving the accuracy and precision of coal bed methane(CBM) estimates requires correction of older data from older coal exploration surveys to newer standards.Three methods,the depth gradient method,the contour aerial weight method,and the well-point aerial weight method,were used to estimate the correction coefficient required to predict CBM gas content from coal exploration data.The data from the Nos.3 and 15 coal seams provided the coal exploration data while the CBM exploration stages within the X1 well block located in the southern part of the Qinshui Basin provided the data obtained using newer standards.The results show the correction coefficients obtained from the two aerial weight methods are similar in value but lower than the one obtained from the depth gradient method.The three methods provide similar results for the Nos.3 and 15 seams in that the correction factor is lower for the former seam.The results from the depth gradient method taken together with the coal seam burial depth and the coal rank suggest that variations in the correction factor increase linearly along with coal seam burial depth and coal rank.The correlation obtained can be applied to exploration and the evaluation of coal bed gas resources located in coalfields. | Lei Bo Fu Xuehai Zhou Baoyan Shen Jia ZOU Mingjun Feng Qing | 2012 | International Journal of Mining Science and Technology2012,22,4: | 5 |
| 3 | Antibacterial behavior and related mechanisms of martensitic Cu-bearing stainless steel evaluated by a mixed infection model of Escherichia coli and Staphylococcus aureus in vitro显示文摘Escherichia coli(E.coli)and Staphylococcus aureus(S.aureus)are the most typical pathogenic bacteria with a significantly high risk of bio-contamination,widely existing in hospital and public places.Recent studies on antibacterial materials and the related mechanisms have attracted more interests of researchers.However,the antibacterial behavior of materials is usually evaluated separately on the single bacterial strain,which is far from the practical condition.Actually,the interaction between the polymicrobial communities can promote the growing profile of bacteria,which may weaken the antibacterial effect of materials.In this work,a 420 copper-bearing martensitic stainless steel(420 CuSS)was studied with respect to its antibacterial activity and the underlying mechanism in a co-culturing infection model using both E.coli and S.au reus.Observed via plating and counting colony forming units(CFU),Cu releasing,and material characterization,420 CuSS was proved to present excellent antibacterial performance against the mixed bacteria with an approximately 99.4%of antibacterial rate.In addition,420 CuSS could effectively inhibit the biofilm formation on its surfaces,resulting from a synergistic antibacterial effect of Cu ions,Fe ions,reactive oxygen species(ROS),and proton consumption of bacteria. | Mingjun Li Li Nan Chunyong Liang Ziqing Sun Lei Yang Ke Yang | 2021 | Journal of Materials Science & Technology2021,,3: | 3 |

| 7 | Increasing free-air 0℃ isotherm height in Southwest China from 1960 to 2010显示文摘Based on the radiosonde data observed at 14 stations in Southwest China from 1960 to 2010, as well as the corresponding surface air temperature, the long-term change of free-air 0 ℃isotherm height in Southwest China and the relationships between surface air temperature and 0 ℃isotherm height are discussed. The results indicated that the spatial distribution of 0 isotherm height is generally related with latitude, but the ℃ huge massif or plateau may complicate the latitude pattern. The two main regimes influencing the spatial patterns of 0 isotherm height℃ in Southwest China are latitude and huge massif. The annual 0 isotherm height has increased by 35 m per decade in the recent decades, which is st℃ atistically significant at the 0.001 level. Generally, the increasing trend can be examined for each seasonal series, especially in winter(53 m per decade). | 17 | Effects of herbicide butachlor application on the growth of periphytic biofilms and nitrogen loss in paddy systems显示文摘The application of butachlor as an herbicide in paddy fields is widely practiced,aiming to increase rice yield by directly or indirectly influencing the paddy environment.Periphytic biofilms,which form at the soil-water interface in paddy fields,are complex bioaggregates that play an important role in nitrogen (N) cycling.The objective of this study was to investigate the effect of butachlor on periphytic biofilm growth and N cycling under both light and dark conditions in the laboratory.The results revealed that butachlor application hindered the growth of periphytic biofilms and led to the dominance of Cyanobacteria as the primary prokaryotes,while inhibiting the development of eukaryotic Trebouxiophyceae.Furthermore,the application of butachlor reduced the richness and diversity of prokaryotes,but increased those of eukaryotes in periphytic biofilms.The light treatments exhibited higher total N loss because light favored periphytic biofilm growth and enhanced ammonium (NH_(4)^(+)) assimilation and nitrification.Additionally,butachlor application resulted in the increased retention of NH_(4)^(+)-N and nitrate (NO_(3)^(-))-N and an increase in N loss via denitrification.The abundances of functional genes encoding enzymes such as ammonia monooxygenase,nitrite reductase,and nitrous oxide reductase were increased by butachlor application,favoring nitrification and denitrification processes.Overall,the results suggest that butachlor application leads to an increase in total N loss mainly through denitrification in paddy systems,particularly in the presence of periphytic biofilms.Thus,the results may provide valuable insights into the changes in periphytic biofilm growth and N cycling induced by butachlor,and future studies can further explore the potential implications of these changes in paddy soils. | Yanhui ZHAO Mingjun LEI Liandong JING Fan XIA Meixia YAN Jiantong LIU Yonghong WU Yunli WU Chenxi WU | 2024 | Pedosphere2024,34,1: | 0 |
