1Arabidopsis F-box gene FOA1 involved in ABA signaling显示文摘The expression of FOA1(F-box overexpressed/oppressed ABA signaling) in different organs of Arabidopsis,and in response to ABA and NaCl,was analyzed.The expression level of FOA1 is higher in the root and is lower in the stem,and is induced rapidly by ABA and NaCl.The phenotypes of T-DNA insertion mutant foa1 and FOA1 overexpression lines FOA1ox1 and FOA1ox2 were analyzed.The foa1 mutant exhibited a lower germination rate,shorter root length,more stomatal opening,increased proline accumulation and hypersensitivity to ABA compared with the wild type.In contrast,the overexpression lines showed lower sensitivity to ABA than the wild type.The expression levels of several ABA and stress-responsive transcription factors and genes were altered in the foa1 mutant in response to ABA.Compared with the wild type,the expression levels of ABA-responsive transcription factors were higher,but ABA and stress-responsive genes were lower in foa1 mutant.This study demonstrates that FOA1 is an ABA signaling-related gene,and may play a negative role in ABA signaling.PENG Juan YU DaShi WANG LiQun XIE MinMin YUAN CongYing WANG Yu TANG DongYing ZHAO XiaoYing LIU XuanMing 2012Science China(Life Sciences)2012,55,6:12

3The heterogeneity of islet autoantibodies and the progression of islet failure in type 1 diabetic patients显示文摘Type 1 diabetes mellitus is heterogeneous in many facets. The patients suffered from type 1 diabetes present several levels of islet function as well as variable number and type of islet-specific autoantibodies. This study was to investigate prevalence and heterogeneity of the islet autoantibodies and clinical phenotypes of type 1 diabetes mellitus; and also discussed the process of islet failure and its risk factors in Chinese type 1 diabetic patients. A total of 1,291 type 1 diabetic patients were enrolled in this study. Demographic information was collected. Laboratory tests including mixed-meal tolerance test, human leukocyte antigen alleles, hemoglobin A1 c, lipids, thyroid function and islet autoantibodies were conducted. The frequency of islet-specific autoantibody in newly diagnosed T1 DM patients(duration shorter than half year) was 73% in East China. According to binary logistic regressions, autoantibody positivity, longer duration and lower Body Mass Index were the risk factors of islet failure. As the disease developed, autoantibodies against glutamic acid decarboxylase declined as well as the other two autoantibodies against zinc transporter 8 and islet antigen 2. The decrease of autoantibodies was positively correlated with aggressive beta cell destruction. Autoantibodies can facilitate the identification of classic T1 DM from other subtypes and predict the progression of islet failure. 4Biochemistry of mammalian ferritins in the regulation of cellular iron homeostasis and oxidative responses显示文摘Ferritin,an iron-storage protein,regulates cellular iron metabolism and oxidative stress.The ferritin structure is characterized as a spherical cage,inside which large amounts of iron are deposited in a safe,compact and bioavailable form.All ferritins readily catalyze Fe(II)oxidation by peroxides at the ferroxidase center to prevent free Fe(II)from participating in oxygen free radical formation via Fenton chemistry.Thus,ferritin is generally recognized as a cytoprotective stratagem against intracellular oxidative damage.The expression of cytosolic ferritins is usually regulated by iron status and oxidative stress at both the transcriptional and post-transcriptional levels.The mechanism of ferritin-mediated iron recycling is far from clarified,though nuclear receptor co-activator 4(NCOA4)was recently identified as a cargo receptor for ferritin-based lysosomal degradation.Cytosolic ferritins are heteropolymers assembled by H-and L-chains in different proportions.The mitochondrial ferritins are homopolymers and distributed in restricted tissues.They play protective roles in mitochondria where heme-and Fe/S-enzymes are synthesized and high levels of ROS are produced.Genetic ferritin disorders are mainly related to the L-chain mutations,which generally cause severe movement diseases.This review is focused on the biochemistry and function of mammalian intracellular ferritin as the major iron-storage and anti-oxidation protein.Jianlin Zhang Xuehui Chen Juanji Hong Aifa Tang Yang Liu Ni Xie Guohui Nie Xiyun Yan Minmin Liang 2021Science China(Life Sciences)2021,64,3:5
5Effect of Mn content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg–6Li–4Zn-xMn alloys显示文摘The as-cast Mg–6Li–4Zn-x Mn alloys were prepared and extruded at 280℃with an extrusion ratio of 25:1.The effects of Mn content on the microstructure and mechanical properties of Mg–6Li–4Zn-x Mn alloys were investigated in this study.The XRD results show that Mg–6Li–4Zn–x Mn alloys consisted ofα-Mg(hcp)+β-Li(bcc)duplex structured matrix,Mg Li_(2)Zn and Mn phases.The grains of the extruded Mg–6Li–4Zn–x Mn alloys were refined by dynamic recrystallization during the extrusion process.The EBSD results show that the extruded alloys had basal textures.The grain size of the extruded alloys decreased while the basal texture was strengthened with the increasing Mn addition.The TEM results show that a large amount of nanoscale Mn precipitates existed in the extruded Mg–6Li–4Zn–1.2 Mn alloy,which can effectively inhibit the dynamic recrystallized(DRXed)grains growth during the hot extrusion and is beneficial to the improvement of mechanical properties.Mg–6Li–4Zn–1.2 Mn alloy in this research possesses the best mechanical properties with the ultimate tensile strength and yield strength of 321 MPa,250 MPa,respectively.Hongju Deng Yan Yang Minmin Li Xiaoming Xiong Guobing Wei Weidong Xie Bin Jiang Xiaodong Peng Fusheng Pan 2021Progress in Natural Science:Materials International2021,31,4:3

7Photoprotective Effects of D1 Protein Turnover and the Lutein Cycle on Three Ephemeral Plants under Heat Stress显示文摘To clarify the characteristics of photoinhibition and the primary defense mechanisms of ephemeral plant leaves against photodestruction under high temperature stress,inhibitors and the technology to determine chlorophyll fluorescence were used to explore the protective effects of D1 protein turnover and the lutein cycle in the high temperature stress of the leaves of three ephemeral plants.The results showed that the maximum light conversion efficiency(Fv/Fm)of the ephemeral plant leaves decreased,and the initial fluorescence(Fo)increased under 35℃±1℃ heat stress for 1-4 h or on sunny days in the summer.Both Fv/Fm and Fo could be recovered after 8 h of darkness or afternoon weakening of the external temperature.Streptomycin sulfate(SM)or dithiothreitol(DTT)accelerated the decrease of Fv/Fm and the photochemical quenching coefficient(qP)in the leaves of three ephemeral plants at high temperature,and the decrease was greater in the SM than in the DTT treatment.When the high temperature stress was prolonged,the Y(II)values of light energy distribution parameters of PSII decreased,and the Y(NPQ)and Y(NO)values increased gradually in all the treatment groups of the three ephemeral plants.The results showed that the leaves of the three ephemeral plants had their own highly advanced mechanisms to protect against photodamage,which inhibited the turnover of D1 protein and xanthophyll cycle.This can damage the PSII reaction center in the leaves of the three ephemeral plants under high temperature.The protective effect of D1 protein turnover on heat stress in Erodium oxyrrhynchum and Senecio subdentatus was greater than that of the lutein cycle,while the protective effect of lutein cycle was greater than that of D1 protein turnover in Heliotropium acutiflorum subjected to heat damage.Minmin Xiao Moxiang Cheng Shuangquan Xie Xiushuang Wang Xingming Hao Li Zhuang 2023Phyton-International Journal of Experimental Botany2023,92,6:0

10Bone metastasis is a late-onset and unfavorable event in survivors of gastric cancer after radical gastrectomy:Results from a clinical observational cohort显示文摘Background The timing and incidence of recurrent bone metastasis(BM)after radical gastrectomy in patients with gastric cancer(GC)as well as the survival of these patients were not fully understood.The aim of this study was to analyze the data of an observational GC cohort and identify patients who underwent curative gastrectomy and had recurrent BM to describe and clarify the pattern and profile of BM evolution after surgery.Methods Data were retrieved from a hospital-based GC cohort,and patients who underwent upfront radical gastrectomy were selected.The time points of specific organ metastatic events were recorded,and the person-year incidence rate of metastatic events was calculated.The latency period of BM events after gastrectomy was measured and compared with that of the other two most common metastatic events,liver metastasis(LM)and distant lymph node metastasis(LNM),using analysis of variance.Propensity score matching and subgroup analysis were used for sensitivity analysis.Results A total of 1324 GC cases underwent radical gastrectomy between January 2011 and December 2021.Of these,67 BM,218 LM,and 248 LNM occurred before the last follow-up.The incidence of BM events was 1.7/100 person-years,which was approximately 3-fold lower than that of LM and distant LNM events(5.5 and 6.3 per 100 person-years,respectively).BM events had a significantly longer latency(median time,16.5 months)than LM and LNM events(11.1 and 12.0 months,respectively).Recurrent BM led to a worse prognosis(median survival,4.5 months)than those of LM and LNM events(median survival,7.7 and 7.1 months,respectively).However,no difference in overall survival after gastrectomy was observed among the groups.Conclusions Compared with other common metastatic events,BM in GC after gastrectomy is a late-onset event indicating poor survival.Cheng Zhang Xiaopeng Zhang Chong Feng Yahui Yang Minmin Xie Ying Feng Zhijun Wu Hui Xu Changhao Wu Tai Ma 2024Cancer Pathogenesis and Therapy2024,2,1:0
11An Integration Testing Framework and Evaluation Metric for Vulnerability Mining Methods显示文摘Software vulnerability mining is an important way to detect whether there are some loopholes existing in the software, and also is an important way to ensure the security of information systems. With the rapid development of information technology and software industry, most of the software has not been rigorously tested before being put in use, so that the hidden vulnerabilities in software will be exploited by the attackers. Therefore, it is of great significance for us to actively detect the software vulnerabilities in the security maintenance of information systems. In this paper, we firstly studied some of the commonly used vulnerability detection methods and detection tools, and analyzed the advantages and disadvantages of each method in different scenarios. Secondly, we designed a set of evaluation criteria for different mining methods in the loopholes evaluation. Thirdly, we also proposed and designed an integration testing framework, on which we can test the typical static analysis methods and dynamic mining methods as well as make the comparison, so that we can obtain an intuitive comparative analysis for the experimental results. 13Iron-catalyzed hydroaminocarbonylation of alkynes:Selective and efficient synthesis of primaryα,β-unsaturated amides显示文摘α,β-Unsaturated primary amides are important intermediates and building blocks in organic synthesis.Herein,we report a ligand-free iron-catalyzed hydroaminocarbonylation of alkynes using NH_(4)HCO_(3)as the ammonia source,enabling the highly efficient and regioselective synthesis of linearα,β-unsaturated primary amides.Various aromatic and aliphatic alkynes are transformed into the desired linearα,β-unsaturated primary amides in good to excellent yields.Further studies show that using NH_(4)HCO_(3)as the ammonia source is key to obtain good yields and selectivity.The utility of this route is demonstrated with the synthesis of linearα,β-unsaturated amides including vanilloid receptor-1 antagonist TRPV-1.Zijun Huang Jia Tang Xiongwei Jiang Tianle Xie Minmin Zhang Donghui Lan Shaofeng Pi Zhengde Tan Bing Yi Yuehui Li 2022Chinese Chemical Letters2022,33,11:0
