| 1 | Antimony speciation in the environment:Recent advances in understanding the biogeochemical processes and ecological effects显示文摘Antimony(Sb) is a toxic metalloid, and its pollution has become a global environmental problem as a result of its extensive use and corresponding Sb-mining activities. The toxicity and mobility of Sb strongly depend on its chemical speciation. In this review, we summarize the current knowledge on the biogeochemical processes(including emission, distribution,speciation, redox, metabolism and toxicity) that trigger the mobilization and transformation of Sb from pollution sources to the surrounding environment. Natural phenomena such as weathering, biological activity and volcanic activity, together with anthropogenic inputs, are responsible for the emission of Sb into the environment. Sb emitted in the environment can adsorb and undergo redox reactions on organic or inorganic environmental media, thus changing its existing form and exerting toxic effects on the ecosystem. | 2 | Reconfigurable photovoltaic effect for optoelectronic artificial synapse based on ferroelectric p-n junction显示文摘Neuromorphic machine vision has attracted extensive attention on wide fields.However,both current and emerging strategies still suffer from power/time inefficiency,and/or low compatibility,complex device structure.Here we demonstrate a driving-voltage-free optoelectronic synaptic device using non-volatile reconfigurable photovoltaic effect based on MoTe_(2)/α-In_(2)Se_(3) ferroelectric p-n junctions.This function comes from the non-volatile reconfigurable built-in potential in the p-n junction that is related to the ferroelectric polarization inα-In_(2)Se_(3).Reconfigurable rectification behavior and photovoltaic effect are demonstrated firstly.Notably,the figure-of-merits for photovoltaic effect like photoelectrical conversion efficiency non-volatilely increases more than one order.Based on this,retina synapse-like vision functions are mimicked.Optoelectronic short-term and long-term plasticity,as well as basic neuromorphic learning and memory rule are achieved without applying driving voltage.Our work highlights the potential of ferroelectric p-n junctions for enhanced solar cell and low-power optoelectronic synaptic device for neuromorphic machine vision. | Yanrong Wang Feng Wang Zhenxing Wang Junjun Wang Jia Yang Yuyu Yao Ningning Li Marshet Getaye Sendeku Xueying Zhan Congxin Shan Jun He | 2021 | Nano Research2021,14,11: | 2 |

| 7 | Gefitinib facilitates PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitophagy by enhancing mitochondrial recruitment of OPTN显示文摘Gefitinib,a well-known epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)tyrosine kinase inhibitor for the targeted therapy of lung cancer,induces autophagy in association with drug resistance.However,it remains unclear whether gefitinib treatment can affect the selective form of autophagy(i.e.,mitophagy)and be beneficial for the treatment of human diseases with decreased autophagy,such as neurodegenerative diseases.Here,we show that gefitinib treatment promotes PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitophagy in both nonneuronal and neuronal cells,and this effect is independent of EGFR.Moreover,we found that gefitinib treatment increases the recruitment of the autophagy receptor optineurin(OPTN)to damaged mitochondria,which is a downstream signaling event in PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitophagy.In addition,gefitinib treatment significantly alleviated neuronal damage in TBK1-deficient neurons,resulting in impeded mitophagy.In conclusion,our study suggests that gefitinib promotes PINK1/Parkin-mediated mitophagy via OPTN and may be beneficial for the treatment of neurodegenerative diseases that are associated with defective mitophagy. | Ningning Li Shan Sun Guoqiang Ma Hongyu Hou Qilian Ma Li Zhang Zengli Zhang Hongfeng Wang Zheng Ying | 2022 | Fundamental Research2022,2,5: | 0 |
| 8 | Percolation-induced resistivity drop in lutetium dihydride with controllable electrical conductivity over six orders of magnitude显示文摘The recent report of near-ambient superconductivity in the nitrogen-doped lutetium hydride has attracted considerable attention.Subsequent follow-up studies confirmed the pressure-induced color changes in both N-free and N-doped LuH_(2) but failed to reproduce superconductivity. It remains a puzzle why the samples in the original report exhibited pronounced resistance anomaly reminiscent of the superconducting transition. Here, we show that percolation of metallic grains with high conductivity through the insulating surfaces in cold-pressed LuH_(2) samples can occasionally produce sharp resistance drops, which even display magnetic field and/or current dependences but stay far from zero resistance. The insulating surface of LuH2grain should be attributed to the modification of hydrogen stoichiometry or the contamination by oxygen/nitrogen, resulting in an increase of resistance by over six orders of magnitude. Such an effect is more significant than that discovered recently in LaH_(3±x), which may indicate that LuH_(2) can be a potential superionic conductor. | 13 | Simulation on Peak-to-Average Power Ratio for Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing显示文摘Clipping is a simple and convenient PAPR (peak-to-average power ratio) reduction method for high speed OFDM (orthogonal frequency division multiplexing) communication system. In this paper, we propose a new PAPR reduction method for Wireless-MAN(metropolitan area network)-OFDM system based on IEEE 802.16, which is over-sampling clipping arithmetic. Simulation and performance of the over-samples clipping’s PAPR reduction capability, BER effect is given. The simulation indicates that the PAPR of at least 99.9% OFDM symbol is below 6dB after 2 Nyquist rate clipping, and the performance of BER has 1dB SNR(signal noise ratio) loss. The results prove that this method has better capacity to reducing PAPR.
