1Review of the characteristics and graded utilisation of coal gasification slag显示文摘The characteristics of the energy structure of rich coal,less oil and less gas,coupling with a high external dependence on oil and natural gas and the emphasis on the efficient and clean utilisation of coal,have brought opportunities for coal chemical industry.However,with the large-scale popularisation of coal gasification technology,the production and resulting storage of coal gasification slag continue to increase,which not only result in serious environmental pollution and a waste of terrestrial resources,but also seriously affect the sustainable development of coal chemical enterprises.Hence,the treatment of coal gasification slag is extremely important.In this paper,the production,composition,morphology,particle size structure and water holding characteristics of coal gasification slag are introduced,and the methods of carbon ash separation of gasification slag,both domestically and abroad,are summarised.In addition,the paper also summarises the research progress on gasification slag in building materials,ecological restoration,residual carbon utilisation and other high-value utilisation,and ultimately puts forward the idea of the comprehensive utilisation of gasification slag.For large-scale consumption to solve the environmental problems of enterprises and achieve high-value utilisation to increase the economic benefits of enterprises,it is urgent to zealously design a reasonable and comprehensive utilisation technologies with simple operational processes,strong adaptability and economic benefits.Xiaodong Liu Zhengwei Jin Yunhuan Jing Panpan Fan Zhili Qi Weiren Bao Jiancheng Wang Xiaohui Yan Peng Lv Lianping Dong 2021Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2021,34,7:21
2Reproductive management through integration of PGD and MPS-based noninvasive prenatal screening/diagnosis for a family with GJB2-associated hearing impairment显示文摘A couple with a proband child of GJB2(encoding the gap junction protein connexin 26)-associated hearing impairment and a previous pregnancy miscarriage sought for a reproductive solution to bear a healthy child. Our study aimed to develop a customized preconception-to-neonate care trajectory to fulfill this clinical demand by integrating preimplantation genetic diagnosis(PGD), noninvasive prenatal testing(NIPT), and noninvasive prenatal diagnosis(NIPD) into the strategy. Auditory and genetic diagnosis of the proband child was carried out to identify the disease causative mutations. The couple then received in-vitro-fertilization treatment, and eight embryos were obtained for day 5 biopsy. PGD was performed by short-tandem-repeat linkage analysis and Sanger sequencing of GJB2 gene. Transfer of a GJB2 c.235del C heterozygous embryo resulted in a singleton pregnancy. At the 13 th week of gestation, genomic DNA(g DNA) from the trio family and cell-free DNA(cf DNA) from maternal plasma were obtained for assessment of fetal chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2 mutations. NIPT and NIPD showed the absence of chromosomal aneuploidy and GJB2-associated disease in the fetus, which was later confirmed by invasive procedures and postnatal genetic/auditory diagnosis. 3Physiological effects of weightlessness: countermeasure system development for a long-term Chinese manned spaceflight显示文摘The Chinese space station will be built around 2020. As a national space laboratory, it will offer unique opportunities for studying the physiological effects of weightlessness and the efficacy of the countermeasures against such effects. In this paper, we described the development of countermeasure systems in the Chinese space program. To emphasize the need of the Chinese space program to implement its own program for developing countermeasures, we reviewed the literature on the negative physiological effects of weightlessness, the challenges of completing missions, the development of countermeasure devices, the establishment of countermeasure programs, and the efficacy of the countermeasure techniques in American and Russian manned spaceflights. 4Variations in carbon isotopic composition in the subcontinental lithospheric mantle beneath the Yangtze and North China Cratons:Evidence from in-situ analysis of diamonds using SIMS显示文摘The components and evolution of subcontinental lithospheric mantle beneath the North China Craton and the Yangtze Craton is a current topic in the geological study of China and the carbon isotopic composition of diamond is one of the most direct probes into cratonic lithospheric mantle processes.In this paper,in-situ SIMS(Secondary Ion Mass Spectrometry) techniques were used to analyze the carbon isotope compositions at different internal growth zones of diamonds from Shandong and Liaoning in the North China Craton and Hunan in the Yangtze Craton.It was found that the carbon isotopic range of diamonds from the North China Craton are rather distinct from those of the Yangtze Craton;the former has a range of 6.0‰ to 2.0‰(relative to VPDB) with an average value of 3.0‰ in their core areas,which is consistent with global peridotitic diamonds;the diamonds from the Yangtze Craton,however,have a carbon isotopic range from 8.6‰ to 3.0‰ with an average value of 7.4‰ in their core areas,being more consistent with global eclogitic diamonds.The variations of carbon isotope ratios between different internal growth zones in individual diamonds were different in the three diamond localities studied.There was a clear correlation between changes in carbon isotopic composition and phases of diamond dissolution and new growth,while no correlation was observed between δ13C and internal inclusions.The variations suggest that the carbon isotopic compositions of mantle fluids were changing during the process of diamond crystallization,and that the heterogeneity of the carbon isotopic composition in mantle carbon reservoirs was a more important factor than carbon isotope fractionation in controlling the carbon isotopic compositions and their variation in diamonds.In addition,the preliminary results of in-situ nitrogen analyses demonstrated that the variation of carbon isotopic compositions between the core and outer growth zones does not correlate with nitrogen abundances,implying either that diamonds crystallized in an open environment or that the carbon isotopic composition and nitrogen contents in mantle fluids were controlled by other,not yet understood factors.The experimental results provide hints that the isotopic composition of carbon and its original sources were different in metasomatic fluids controlling diamond formation in the mantle beneath the North China Craton and the Yangtze Craton.CHEN Hua QIU ZhiLi LU TaiJin STERN Richard STACHEL Thomas SUN Yuan ZHANG Jian KE Jie PENG ShuYi QIN SheCai 2013Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,1:7
5Axial gradient excitation accelerates volumetric imaging of two-photon microscopy显示文摘Two-photon excitation fluorescence microscopy(TPM),owing to its capacity for subcellular resolution,intrinsic optical sectioning,and superior penetration depth in turbid samples,has revolutionized biomedical research.However,its layer-by-layer scanning to form a three-dimensional image inherently limits the volumetric imaging speed and increases phototoxicity significantly.In this study,we develop a gradient excitation technique to accelerate TPM volumetric imaging.The axial positions of the fluorophores can be decoded from the intensity ratio of the paired images obtained by sequentially exciting the specimen with two axially elongated two-photon beams of complementary gradient intensities.We achieved a 0.63μm axial localization precision and demonstrate the flexibility of the gradient TPM on various sparsely labeled samples,including bead phantoms,mouse brain tissues,and live macrophages.Compared with traditional TPM,our technique improves volumetric imaging speed(by at least sixfold),decreases photobleaching(i.e.,less than 2.07±2.89%in 25 min),and minimizes photodamages.Yufeng Gao Xianyuan Xia Lina Liu Ting Wu Tingai Chen Jia Yu Zhili Xu Liang Wang Fei Yan Zhuo Du Jun Chu Yang Zhan Bo Peng Hui Li Wei Zheng 2022Photonics Research2022,10,3:3

8Network pharmacology and in vitro study of Fengreqing oral liquid(风热清口服液) in the intervention of wind-heat pattern显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To investigate the underlying mechanism of the effect of Fengreqing oral liquid(风热清口服液,FOL)on wind-heat pattern(WHP).METHODS:In this study,we predicted the potential targets of FOL via the approach of network pharmacology and verified it by in vitro inflammation model.In the network pharmacology part,two strategies,namely the direct target search and the indirect one,were used to collect the target sets of FOL in WHP treatment.The enrichment analysis was carried out by David database and Clue Go plug-in in Cytoscape.Furthermore,the potential targets were mapped in the candidate pathways.In the verification experiment section,in vitro model of lipopolysaccharide(LPS)induced RAW 264.7 was used to confirm the predictive results in the network pharmacology part.RESULTS:Through the two screening strategies,a total of 141 non-repetitive intervention targets of FOL on WHP were obtained.Gene ontology(GO)and Kyoto Encyclopedia of Genes and Genomes(KEGG)enrichment analysis showed that the intervention effect was mainly focused on the anti-inflammatory effect,and the Toll-like receptor signaling pathway was one of the most critical regulatory pathways.Further mapping analysis showed that phosphatidylinositol 3-kinase(PI3 K)-protein kinase B(AKT)signaling transfer might be the key part of regulating the concentration of inflammation mediators of FOL in the Toll-like receptor signaling pathway.In vitro experiment showed that FOL significantly reduced the levels of NO,IL-1,IL-6,and TNF-αproduced by RAW264.7 induced by LPS.Further immunofluorescence found that this effect is related to the regulation of PI3 K-AKT pathway activity by FOL.CONCLUSION:FOL can intervene in WHP by regulating the content of inflammatory mediators via the PI3 K-AKT pathway.YANG Ruocong RAO Zhili LI Xiangyu WANG Dejian PENG Xi ZENG Nan 2021Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2021,41,5:1

10Leaf nitrogen resorption is more important than litter nitrogen mineralization in mediating the diversity–productivity relationship along a nitrogen-limited temperate forest succession chronosequence显示文摘The resorption of nutrients by plants before litter fall and the mineralization of nutrients from plant litter by soil processes are both important pathways supporting primary productivity. While the positive relationship between plant biodiversity and primary productivity is widely accepted for natural ecosystems, the roles of nutrient resorption and mineralization in mediating that relationship remains largely unknown. Here, we quantified the relative importance of nitrogen(N) resorption and N mineralization in driving plant community N investment and the correlation between species diversity and community productivity along an N-limited successional chronosequence of the mixed broadleaved–Korean pine(Pinus koraiensis) forest in northeastern China. Leaf N resorption efficiency(NRE) at the community level increased significantly along the successional chronosequence,whereas litter N mineralization rate decreased significantly. Leaf NRE was more important than litter N mineralization rate in driving the diversity–productivity relationship. However, higher leaf NRE led to less N mineralization as succession progressed along the chronosequence. Our results highlight the importance of the N resorption pathway rather than the N mineralization pathway for forest N acquisition with community succession,and they provide mechanistic insights into the positive effects of biodiversity on ecosystem functioning. 12Environmental selection and evolutionary process jointly shape genomic and functional profiles of mangrove rhizosphere microbiomes显示文摘Mangrove reforestation with introduced species has been an important strategy to restore mangrove ecosystem functioning.However,how such activities affect microbially driven methane(CH4),nitrogen(N),and sulfur(S)cycling of rhizosphere microbiomes remains unclear.To understand the effect of environmental selection and the evolutionary process on microbially driven biogeochemical cycles in native and introduced mangrove rhizospheres,we analyzed key genomic and functional profiles of rhizosphere microbiomes from native and introduced mangrove species by metagenome sequencing technologies.Compared with the native mangrove(Kandelia obovata,KO),the introduced mangrove(Sonneratia apetala,SA)rhizosphere microbiome had significantly(p<0.05)higher average genome size(AGS)(5.8 vs.5.5 Mb),average 16S ribosomal RNA gene copy number(3.5 vs.3.1),relative abundances of mobile genetic elements,and functional diversity in terms of the Shannon index(7.88 vs.7.84)but lower functional potentials involved in CH4 cycling(e.g.,mcrABCDG and pmoABC),N2 fixation(nifHDK),and inorganic S cycling(dsrAB,dsrC,dsrMKJOP,soxB,sqr,and fccAB).Similar results were also observed from the recovered Proteobacterial metagenome-assembled genomes with a higher AGS and distinct functions in the introduced mangrove rhizosphere.Additionally,salinity and ammonium were identified as the main environmental drivers of functional profiles of mangrove rhizosphere microbiomes through deterministic processes.This study advances our understanding of microbially mediated biogeochemical cycling of CH_(4),N,and S in the mangrove rhizosphere and provides novel insights into the influence of environmental selection and evolutionary processes on ecosystem functions,which has important implications for future mangrove reforestation.Xiaoli Yu Qichao Tu Jihua Liu Yisheng Peng Cheng Wang Fanshu Xiao Yingli Lian Xueqin Yang Ruiwen Hu Huang Yu Lu Qian Daoming Wu Ziying He Longfei Shu Qiang He Yun Tian Faming Wang Shanquan Wang Bo Wu Zhijian Huang Jianguo He Qingyun Yan Zhili He 2023mLife2023,2,3:0

17Neuro-11:a new questionnaire for the assessment of somatic symptom disorder in general hospitals显示文摘Background Somatic symptom disorder(SSD)commonly presents in general hospital settings,posing challenges for healthcare professionals lacking specialised psychiatric training.The Neuro-11 Neurosis Scale(Neuro-11)offers promise in screening and evaluating psychosomatic symptoms,comprising 11 concise items across three dimensions:somatic symptoms,negative emotions and adverse events.Prior research has validated the scale’s reliability,validity and theoretical framework in somatoform disorders,indicating its potential as a valuable tool for SSD screening in general hospitals.Aims This study aimed to establish the reliability,validity and threshold of the Neuro-11 by comparing it with standard questionnaires commonly used in general hospitals for assessing SSD.Through this comparative analysis,we aimed to validate the effectiveness and precision of the Neuro-11,enhancing its utility in clinical settings.Methods Between November 2020 and December 2021,data were collected from 731 patients receiving outpatient and inpatient care at Shenzhen People’s Hospital in China for various physical discomforts.The patients completed multiple questionnaires,including the Neuro-11,Short Form 36 Health Survey,Patient Health Questionnaire 15 items,Hamilton Anxiety Scale and Hamilton Depression Scale.Psychiatry-trained clinicians conducted structured interviews and clinical examinations to establish a gold standard diagnosis of SSD.Results The Neuro-11 demonstrated strong content reliability and structural consistency,correlating significantly with internationally recognised and widely used questionnaires.Despite its brevity,the Neuro-11 exhibited significant correlations with other questionnaires.A test-retest analysis yielded a correlation coefficient of 1.00,Spearman-Brown coefficient of 0.64 and Cronbach’sαcoefficient of 0.72,indicating robust content reliability and internal consistency.Confirmatory factor analysis confirmed the validity of the three-dimensional structure(p<0.001,comparative fit index=0.94,Tucker-Lewis index=0.92,root mean square error of approximation=0.06,standardised root mean square residual=0.04).The threshold of the Neuro-11 is set at 10 points based on the maximum Youden’s index from the receiver operating characteristic curve analysis.In terms of diagnostic efficacy,the Neuro-11 has an area under the curve of 0.67.Silin Zeng Yian Yu Shan Lu Sirui Zhang Xiaolin Su Ge Dang Ying Liu Zhili Cai Siyan Chen Yitao He Xin Jiang Chanjuan Chen Lei Yuan Peng Xie Jianqing Shi Qingshan Geng Rafael H Llinas Yi Guo 2023General Psychiatry2023,36,4:0
