| 1 | Deformation characteristics and safety assessment of a high-speed railway induced by undercutting metro tunnel excavation显示文摘Stratum deformation(settlement) is a challenging issue in tunnel engineering, especially when construction of metro tunnels has to undercut high-speed railway. For this purpose, we used the FLAC30 software to analyze the stratum settlement characteristics of high-speed railway at different crossing angles intersected by metro tunnel, in terms of ground settlement trough, stratum slip line and irregularity of ballastless tracks. According to the evolution of the stratum settlement at different angle regions, an optimized angle is proposed for the actual project design. In order to reduce the influence of stratum settlement on the safety of high-speed railway, an approach of safety assessment is proposed for the shield engineering undercutting high-speed railway, as per Chinese specifications using numerical results and on-site conditions. A case study is conducted for the shield tunnel section crossing the Wuhan-Guangzhou High-speed Railway between the Guangzhou North Railway Station and the Huacheng Road Station, which represents the first metro tunnel project passing below a high-speed railway in China. A series of measures is taken to ensure the safe excavation of the shield tunnel and the operation of the high-speed railway. | 2 | Western medication plus Traditional Chinese Medicine preparations in patients with chronic heart failure:a prospective,single-blind,randomized,controlled,and multicenter clinical trial显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To assess the efficacy and safety in patients with chronic heart failure(CHF) of Western medication plus Traditional Chinese Medicine(TCM) preparations.METHODS: This prospective, single-blind, randomized, controlled, and multicenter clinical trial began on September 17, 2008, and was completed on June 25, 2011. A total of 340 inpatients, aged 40-79 years, with exacerbating CHF from 10 hospitals were enrolled and randomly allocated within 24 h of admission. The trial included three intervention periods. During hospitalization, the control group received western medication for CHF and the treatment group received Danhong injection with Shenfu injection or Shenmai injection. After discharge,all patients were treated with Qiliqiangxin capsules and Buyiqiangxin tablets or a placebo for 6 months. After the 6-month intervention, both groups received only continuous western medication. The primary endpoint was all-cause mortality.The efficacy assessments were as follows: B-type natriuretic peptide(BNP), Lee's HF score, the 6-minute walking test(6 MWT), left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF), and the Minnesota Living with Heart Failure Questionnaire(MLHFQ). The safety assessments were as follows: blood and urine routine examination, hepatic and renal function, electrolytes in blood and adverse events.RESULTS: Compared with the control group, the treatment group showed a 30.99% reduction in all-cause mortality and an improved survival rate.The treatment group showed greater improvement in 6 MWT(P = 0.02) than the control group on discharge, after 12-month follow-up, there was a time-group interaction for MLHFQ(P = 0.03). | 4 | PARylation regulates stress granule dynamics, phase separation, and neurotoxicity of disease-related RNA-binding proteins显示文摘Mutations in RNA-binding proteins (RBPs) localized in ribonucleoprotein (RNP) granules, such as hnRNP A1 and TDP-43, promote aberrant protein aggregation, which is a pathological hallmark of various neurodegenerative diseases, such as amyotrophic lateral sclerosis (ALS) and frontotemporal dementia (FTD). Protein posttranslational modifications (PTMs) are known to 佗gulate RNP granules. In this study, we investigate the function of poly(ADP-ribosyl)ation (PARylation), an important PTM involved in DNA damage repair and cell death, in RNP granule-related neurodegeneration. We reveal that PARylation levels are a major regulator of the assembly-disassembly dynamics of RNP granules containing disease-related RBPs, hnRNP A1 and TDP-43. We find that hnRNP A1 can both be PARylated and bind to PARylated proteins or poly(ADP-ribose)(PAR). We further uncover that PARylation of hnRNP A1 at K298 controls its nucleocytoplasmic transport, whereas PAR-binding via the PAR-binding motif (PBM) of hnRNP Al regulates its association with stress granules. Moreover, we reveal that PAR not only dramatically enhances the liquid-liquid phase separation of hnRNP A1, but also promotes the co-phase separation of hnRNP A1 and TDP-43 in vitro and their interaction in vivo. Finally, both genetic and pharmacological inhibition of PARP mitigates hnRNP Al- and TDP-43-mediated neurotoxicity in cell and Drosophila models of ALS. | 7 | Whole-Genome Resequencing of a Worldwide Collection of Rapeseed Accessions Reveals the Genetic Basis of Ecotype Divergence显示文摘Rapeseed (Brassica napus),an important oilseed crop,has adapted to diverse climate zones and latitudes by forming three main ecotype groups,namely winter,semiwinter,and spring types. However,genetic variations underlying the divergence of these ecotypes are largely unknown. Here,we report the global pattern of genetic polymorphisms in rapeseed determined by resequencing a worldwide collection of 991 germplasm accessions.A total of 5.56 and 5.53 million singlenucleotide polymorphisms (SNPs)as Well as 1.86 and 1.92 million InDels were identified by mapping reads to the reference genomes of 'Darmor-bzh'and 'Tapidor,'respectively.We generated a map of allelic drift paths that shows splits and mixtures of the main populations,and revealed an asymmetric evolution of the two subgenomes of B.napus by calculating the genetic diversity and linkage disequilibrium parameters.Selective-sweep analysis revealed genetic changes in genes orthologous to those regulating various aspects of plant development and response to stresses.A genome-wide association study identified SNPs in the promoter regions of FLOWERING LOCUS T and FLOWERING LOCUS C orthologs that corresponded to the different rapeseed ecotype groups. | 10 | Dual-comb spectroscopy resolved three-degreeof-freedom sensing显示文摘Precise and fast determination of position and orientation, which is normally achieved by distance and angle measurements, has broad applications in academia and industry. We propose a dynamic three-degree-of-freedom measurement technique based on dual-comb interferometry and a self-designed grating-corner-cube(GCC) combined sensor. Benefiting from its unique combination of diffraction and reflection characteristics, the absolute distance, pitch, and yaw of the GCC sensor can be determined simultaneously by resolving the phase spectra of the corresponding diffracted beams. We experimentally demonstrate that the method exhibits a ranging precision(Allan deviation) of 13.7 nm and an angular precision of 0.088 arcsec, alongside a 1 ms reaction time. The proposed technique is capable of precise and fast measurement of distances and two-dimensional angles over long stand-off distances. | 11 | MicroRNA-125b regulates Th17/Treg cell differentiation and is associated with juvenile idiopathic arthritis显示文摘Background Juvenile idiopathic arthritis(JIA)is the most common rheumatic disease in childhood driven by aberrant pathways of T-cell activation.T helper 17(Th17)/regulatory T cell(Treg)imbalance plays critical roles in the pathogenesis of arthritis.MicroRNA-125b(miR-125b)was upregulated after the activation of the initial CD4^+T cells,and could regulate the differentiation of CD4^+T cells.However,the effects of miR-125b on Th17/Treg imbalance and differentiation of Th 17/Treg cells remain unknown.Methods In this study,we evaluated the expression of miR-125b in the peripheral blood mononuclear cells(PBMCs)of children with JIA,and the relationship of miR-125b with Th17/Treg imbalance.Then,we used lentivirus vector-mediated overexpression technology to investigate the regulatory function of miR-125b in CD4^+T cells or dendritic cell/CD4^+T co-culture system.Results Decreased miR-125b expression in PBMCs and CD4^+T cells of JIA patients was negatively correlated with the ratio of Th17/Treg cells.It also correlated negatively with retinoic acid receptor-related orphan receptorγt but positively with Forkhead box protein 3 at transcriptional levels.Furthermore,we found that miR-125b overexpression inhibited Th17 cell differentiation,whereas facilitated the differentiation of Treg cells.MiR-125b upregulation led to the decrease of Th 17-secreting cytokines but the increase of the Treg-secreting cytokines.Conclusions Our results demonstrate that miR-125b participated in regulating Thl7/Treg cell differentiation and imbalance in JIA patients.These findings provide novel insight into the critical role of miR-125b in the Th17/Treg imbalance of JIA,and raise the distinct possibility that miR-125b may prove to be a potential therapeutic target for JIA. | Zhi-Dan Fan Qian Cao Na Huang Le Ma Hui-Hui Ma Ya-Yuan Zhang Hai-Guo Yu Guo-Ping Zhou | 2020 | World Journal of Pediatrics2020,16,1: | 7 |

| 16 | Cross-Scale Synthesis of Organic High-k Semiconductors Based on Spiro-Gridized Nanopolymers显示文摘High dielectric constants in organic semiconductors have been identified as a central challenge for the improvement in not only piexoelectric,preolecric,and freeltric efcts but also photoclecric conversion eficiency in OPVs,carrier mobility in OFETS,and charge density in charge-trapping memories.Herein,we report an ultralong persistence length(≈41 nm)efet of spiro-fused organic nanopolymers on dielectric properties,together with excitonic and charge carrier behaviors.The state-of-the-art nanopolymers,namely,nanopolyspirogrids(NPSGs),are synthesized via the simple crossscale Friedel-Crafts polygridlization of AjB-type nanomonomers.The high dielectric constant(k=8.43)of NPSG is firstly achieved by locking spiro-polygridization efect that results in the enhancement of dipole polarization.When doping into a polystyrene-based dielectric layer,such a high-k feature of NPSG increases the feld-ffct carrier mobility from 0.20 to 0.90cm^(2)Vl s'in pentacene OFET devices.Meanwhile,amorphous NPSG film exhibits an ultralow energy disorder(<50 meV)for an exellent zero-field hole mobility of 3.94×10^(-1)cm^(2)V^(-1)s^(-1).surpassing most of the amorphousπconjugated polymers Onganic nanopolymers with high dielectric constants open a new way to break through the bottleneck of eficiency and multifunctionality in the blueprint of the fourth generation semiconductors. | Dongqing Lin Wenhua Zhang Hang Yin Haixia Hu Yang Li He Zhang Le Wang Xinmiao Xie Hongkai Hu Yongxia Yan Haifeng Ling Jin'an Liu Yue Qian Lei Tang Yongxia Wang Chaoyang Dong Linghai Xie Hao Zhang Shasha Wang Ying Wei Xuefeng Guo Dan Lu Wei Huang | 2022 | Research2022,,2: | 3 |

| 19 | An investigation on application potentiality of microstructure heat sinks with different flow topological morphology显示文摘Microstructure heat sinks have great potential for high heat flux cooling.In this paper,we compared microchannel(MC),micro-pin-fin(MPF),manifold microchannel(MMC),and manifold micro-pin-fin(MMPF)heat sinks to figure out the pros and cons.Fluid flow and manifold unit models are used to study thermal and hydrodynamic performance.The heat sinks with different channel/fin sizes,manifold numbers,and porosities are discussed according to the pressure drop,temperature,thermal resistance,and coefficient of performance.Results show that MMC and MMPF heat sinks are superior to MC and MPF heat sinks,and there are also differences between MMC and MMPF heat sinks.Typically,the MMPF heat sink has lower maximum temperature,temperature non-uniformity,and total thermal resistance R_(tot).In contrast,the MMC heat sink has a lower pressure drop and higher COP.For the MMPF heat sink,at the nozzle width of 6.75μm and the MPF width of 70.71μm(porosity=0.167),it achieves the lowest total thermal resistance of R_(tot)=2.97×10^(-6)K m^(2)/W.Under 10^(3)W/cm^(2)heat flux,the maximum surface temperature rise is 29.74 K,and the maximum temperature difference of the heating surface is 3.15 K.This research initially provides a clear reference on the selection of single-phase cooling microstructures for ultra-high heat flux dissipation. | YAO XiaoLe SHI QianLei LIU Qian QIN Le JU Xing XU Chao | 2022 | Science China(Technological Sciences)2022,65,12: | 2 |
