| 1 | RhMYB108,an R2R3-MYB transcription factor,is involved in ethylene-and JA-induced petal senescence in rose plants显示文摘Rose(Rosa hybrida)plants are major ornamental species worldwide,and their commercial value greatly depends on their open flowers,as both the quality of fully open petals and long vase life are important.Petal senescence can be started and accelerated by various hormone signals,and ethylene is considered an accelerator of petal senescence in rose.To date,however,the underlying mechanism of signaling crosstalk between ethylene and other hormones such as JA in petal senescence remains largely unknown.Here,we isolated RhMYB108,an R2R3-MYB transcription factor,which is highly expressed in senescing petals as well as in petals treated with exogenous ethylene and JA.Applications of exogenous ethylene and JA markedly accelerated petal senescence,while the process was delayed in response to applications of 1-MCP,an ethylene action inhibitor.In addition,silencing of RhMYB108 alter the expression of SAGs such as RhNAC029,RhNAC053,RhNAC092,RhSAG12,and RhSAG113,and finally block ethylene-and JA-induced petal senescence.Furthermore,RhMYB108 was identified to target the promoters of RhNAC053,RhNAC092,and RhSAG113.Our results reveal a model in which RhMYB108 functions as a receptor of ethylene and JA signals to modulate the onset of petal senescence by targeting and enhancing senescence-associated gene expression. | Shuai Zhang Qingcui Zhao Daxing Zeng Jiehua Xu Hougao Zhou Fenglan Wang Nan Ma Yonghong Li | 2019 | Horticulture Research2019,6,1: | 10 |
| 2 | Anal swab findings in an infant with COVID-19显示文摘Introduction: The transmission pathways of coronavirus disease 2019 (COVID-19) remain not completely clear. In this case study the test for the novel severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2 (SARS-CoV-2) in pharyngeal swab and anal swab were compared.Case presentation: A 3-month-old girl was admitted to our hospital with COVID-19. Her parents had both been diagnosed with COVID-19. The results of pharyngeal swab and anal swab of the little girl were recorded and compared during the course of the disease. The oropharyngeal specimen showed negative result for SARS-CoV-2 on the 14th day after onset of the illness. However, the anal swab was still positive for SARS-CoV-2 on the 28th day after the onset of the illness.Conclusion: The possibility of fecal-oral transmission of COVID-19 should be assessed. | 3 | Meta-analysis evaluation of the treatment of neonatal hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy with ganglioside显示文摘The efficacy and safety of ganglioside in the treatment of neonates who suffer from hypoxic-ischemic encephalopathy(HIE)needs to be fully evaluated.We searched the following databases:PubMed,ScienceDirect,LISTA,CNKI,Chinese biomedical literature database and Wanfang digital journals of full-text database to determine the inclusion and exclusion criteria of papers and a total of 12 papers were included after quality evaluation.Then we conducted the meta-analysis with RevMan5.0 software.The results showed that compared with the control group,the abnormal rate declined in the ganglioside-treated group(relative risk(RR)=0.27,95%confidence interval(CI)=0.05-1.96).NBNA records of the 7,10-14d neonates were improved effectively:RR(95%CI)were 2.28(0.86-3.42)and 2.53(1.04-2.92)respectively.Neural system sequelae incidence was reduced significantly:RR(95%CI)=0.35:(0.15-0.79).Ganglioside treatment could effectively reduce the abnormality rate of head size,improve the neurological score,reduce the incidence of neurological sequelae,and significantly prompt clinical recovery for neonates with HIE. | Wen LI Junli YANG Dong ZHOU Jinghui ZHANG Qingcui ZHUO | 2019 | BIOCELL2019,43,1: | 2 |
| 4 | Overview to the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (Insight-HXMT) Satellite显示文摘As China’s first X-ray astronomical satellite, the Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope (HXMT), which was dubbed as Insight-HXMT after the launch on June 15, 2017, is a wide-band(1-250 ke V) slat-collimator-based X-ray astronomy satellite with the capability of all-sky monitoring in 0.2-3 Me V.
