| 1 | Spatial concentration,congener profiles and inhalation risk assessment of PCDD/Fs and PCBs in the atmosphere of Tianjin,China显示文摘Polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins/dibenzofurans(PCDD/Fs) and polychlorinated biphenyls(PCBs) were monitored in a seasonal passive sampling scheme during June 2008 and January 2009 to investigate the spatial concentration,congener profiles and evaluate the potential inhalation risk in different functional areas in Tianjin,China.The spatial air concentrations and I-TEQs ranged 1.08×102-8.19×10 3 fg m-3(average 2.63×103 fg m-3) and 4.08-325 fg I-TEQ m-3(average 91.4 fg I-TEQ m-3) respectively for PCDD/Fs.The concentration and I-TEQs of PCBs were 3.08×104-3.01×105 fg m-3(average 1.39×105 fg m-3) and 1.72-49.6 fg I-TEQ m-3(average 18.5 fg I-TEQ m-3).It is obvious that PCB concentrations were several hundred times higher than the PCDD/Fs.However,the ambient air PCDD/Fs contributed a major part to the total toxicity equivalents,varying from 72.7% to 89.0%(average 81.8%).The atmospheric PCDD/F levels were observed to be higher in winter for most of sampling sites in the downtown.Besides,inhalation risk assessment showed that local residents might suffer more risk near the point sources than those in living area,industrial zones and background area in Tianjin City.However,the total daily dioxin intake was approximately several to hundreds of times lower than the WHO criteria,showing relatively low exposure risks from the impact of industry point sources in Tianjin City. | DING Lei LI YingMing WANG Pu LI XiaoMin ZHAO ZongShan RUAN Ting ZHANG QingHua | 2013 | Chinese Science Bulletin2013,58,9: | 17 |
| 2 | Seasonal trend of ambient PCDD/Fs in Tianjin City, northern China using active sampling strategy显示文摘The spatial concentrations, seasonal trends, profiles and congener pairs of ambient polychlorinated dibenzo-p-dioxins (PCDDs) and polychlorinated dibenzofurans (PCDFs) were investigated within a seasonally active sampling scheme during Jun 2008 and Jan 2009 in Tianjin City, northern China. The PCDD/F concentrations ranged 14.2-172 fg I-TEQ/m3 (average 69.3 fg I-TEQ/m3 ) in summer and (89.8-1.01)×103 fg I-TEQ/m3 (average 509 fg I-TEQ/m3 ) in winter, respectively, except for the E-waste dismantling site where much higher values were observed (1.04×103 fg I-TEQ/m3 in summer and 7.123×103 fg I-TEQ/m3 in winter). The results indicated a significantly seasonal trend with higher TEQ values in winter as compared with summer, which could be related to increased emission sources and seasonal variations of the atmospheric boundary layer height. 2,3,4,7,8-PeCDF was the dominant contributor to the total PCDD/F toxic equivalents, and 2,3,7,8-TCDD was detected at almost all the sampling sites in winter. Most of the similarly substituted PCDD/F congener pairs exhibited high correlations, suggesting that they might have similar environmental fate or sources. | 4 | Research Progress on Heat Stress of Rice at Flowering Stage显示文摘Global warming has caused frequent occurrence of heat stress at the flowering stage of single-season rice in the Yangtze River region of China, which results in declines of spikelet fertility and yield in rice. Rice flowering stage is the most sensitive period to high temperatures, and therefore, the key for heat stress happening is the flowering stage coinciding with high temperature, which causes spikelet fertility decreasing in heat-sensitive varieties, and is the major factor for heat injury differences among various rice planting regions. With the development of rice breeding, temperature indexes for heat stress has been converted from daily maximum temperature of 35 oC to 38 oC with the stress duration of more than 3 d. During the flowering stage, anther dehiscence inhibition and low pollen shedding onto the stigma are two main reasons for spikelet fertility reduction under high temperatures. At panicle initiation stage, high temperatures aggravate spikelet degeneration, and destroy floral organ development. Various types of rice varieties coexist in production, and indica-japonica hybrid rice demonstrates the highest heat resistance in general, followed by indica and japonica rice varieties. In production, avoiding high temperature is the main strategy of preventing heat stress, and planting suitable cultivars and adjustment of sowing date are the most effective measures. Irrigation is an effective real-time cultivation measure to decline the canopy temperature during the rice flowering stage. We suggested that further study should be focused on exploring heat injury differences among different rice variety types, and innovating rice-planting methods according to planting system changes in rice planting regions with extreme heat stress. | 5 | Microfossils and molecular records in oil shales of the Songliao Basin and implications for paleo-depositional environment显示文摘Several oil shale beds, over 10 m thick, occur at the base of the first member of the Upper Cretaceous Qingshankou Formation (K2qn1) in the Songliao Basin. They act both as excellent source rocks for conventional oil and as potential oil deposit for shale oil production. Here we combine micropaleon-tology with organic geochemistry to investigate the paleo-depositional environment and organic source characteristics of the oil shales and black shales. Our results indicate that algal remains are dominant microfossils in K2qn1 oil shales, and their relatively high abundance suggests a major algal thriving event during the oil shale deposition. The presence of fresh water and brackish water species, Sentusidinium, Vesperopsis and Nyktericysta, and marine or brackish water deltaic and lagoonal species such as Kiokansium and Dinogymniopsis demonstrate that this paleo-continental lake was influenced by marine transgressions at the time of K2qn1 oil shale formation. The extremely low pristine/phytane ratios, relatively high abundance of gammacerane and 4-methyl steranes, and low δ 13C values of C14-C37 n-alkanes in the oil shale organic extracts indicate the deposition of oil shales in anoxic and highly stratified water columns and the significant contribution of lacustrine algae to sedimentary organic matter. High molecular-weight paraffinic hydrocarbons with unusually high abundance of nC43, nC45, and nC47 may be related to special algal species associated with marine transgression events. | 7 | Albedo of Coastal Landfast Sea Ice in Prydz Bay,Antarctica:Observations and Parameterization显示文摘The snow/sea-ice albedo was measured over coastal landfast sea ice in Prydz Bay, East Antarctica(off Zhongshan Station)during the austral spring and summer of 2010 and 2011. The variation of the observed albedo was a combination of a gradual seasonal transition from spring to summer and abrupt changes resulting from synoptic events, including snowfall, blowing snow, and overcast skies. The measured albedo ranged from 0.94 over thick fresh snow to 0.36 over melting sea ice. It was found that snow thickness was the most important factor influencing the albedo variation, while synoptic events and overcast skies could increase the albedo by about 0.18 and 0.06, respectively. The in-situ measured albedo and related physical parameters(e.g., snow thickness, ice thickness, surface temperature, and air temperature) were then used to evaluate four different snow/ice albedo parameterizations used in a variety of climate models. The parameterized albedos showed substantial discrepancies compared to the observed albedo, particularly during the summer melt period, even though more complex parameterizations yielded more realistic variations than simple ones. A modified parameterization was developed,which further considered synoptic events, cloud cover, and the local landfast sea-ice surface characteristics. | 8 | Regulatory mechanism of hormones of the pituitary-target gland axes in kidney-Yang deficiency based on a support vector machine model显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To study the development mechanism of kidney-Yang deficiency through the establishment of support vector machine models of relevant hormones of the pituitary-target gland axes in rats with kidney-Yang deficiency syndrome.METHODS:The kidney-Yang deficiency rat model was created by intramuscular injection of hydrocortisone,and contents of the hormones of the pituita- ry-thyroid axis:thyroid stimulating hormone(TSH),3,3',5-triiodothyronine(T_3) and thyroxine(T_4);hormones of the pituitary-adrenal gland axis:adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH) and Cortisol(CORT);and hormones of the pituitary-gonadal axis:luteinizing hormone(LH),follicle-stimulating hormone(FSH),and testosterone(T),were determined in the early,middle,and advanced stages.Ten support vector regression(SVR) models of the hormones were established to analyze the mutual relationships among the hormones of the three axes.RESULTS:The feedback control action of the pituitary-adrenal axis began to lose efficacy from the middle stage of kidney-Kong deficiency.The contents all hormones of the three pituitary-target gland axes decreased in the advanced stage.Relative errors of the jackknife test of the SVR models all were less than 10%.CONCLUSION:Imbalances in mutual regulation among the hormones of the pituitary-target gland axes,especially loss of effectiveness of the pituitary-adrenal axis,is one pathogenesis of kidney-Yang deficiency.The SVR model can accurately reflect the complicated non-linear relationships among pituitary-target gland axes in rats with of kidney-Yang deficiency. | Wang Xiufeng Zhang Lei Huang Rongbo Wu Qinghua Min Jianxin Ma Na Luo Laicheng | 2015 | Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2015,35,2: | 7 |

| 10 | Review of research on Arctic sea ice physics based on the Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition显示文摘China launched its Arctic research program and organized the first Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition(CHINARE-Arctic) in 1999. By 2016, six further expeditions had been conducted using the R/V Xuelong. The main region of the expeditions has focused on the Pacific sector of the Arctic Ocean for sea ice observations. The expeditions have used icebreaker, helicopter, boat, floe, and buoy platforms to perform these observations. Some new technologies have been developed, in particular, the underway auto-observing system for sea ice thickness using an electromagnetic instrument. The long-term measurement systems, e.g., the sea ice mass balance buoy, allow observations to extend from summer to winter. Some international cooperation projects have been involved in CHINARE-Arctic, especially the 'Developing Arctic Modeling and Observing Capabilities for Long-Term Environmental Studies' project funded by the European Union during the International Polar Year. Arctic sea ice observations have been used to verify remote sensing products, identify changes in Arctic sea ice, optimize the parameterizations of sea ice physical processes, and assess the accessibility of ice-covered waters, especially around the Northeast Passage. Recommendations are provided as guidance to future CHINARE-Arctic projects. For example, a standardized operation system of sea ice observations should be contracted, and the observations of sea ice dynamics should be enhanced. | 14 | Investigation of the thermodynamic processes of a floe-lead system in the central Arctic during later summer显示文摘Thermodynamic processes of a system involving a floe and a small lead in the central Arctic were investigated during the ice-camp period of the third Chinese National Arctic Research Expedition from 20 to 28 August,2008.The measurements included surface air temperatures above the floe,spectral albedo of the lead,seawater temperatures in the lead and under the ice cover,and the lateral and bottom mass balance of the floe.The surface air temperature at 1.15 m remained below 0℃throughout the observation period and sea ice had commenced its annual cycle of growth in response to autumn cooling during the study.The surface of the lead was frozen by 23 August,after which the spectral albedo of the thin-ice-covered lead in the band of 320 950 nm was 0.46 ±0.03,the seawater temperatures both in the lead and under the ice cover,as well as the vertical seawater-temperature gradient in the lead decreased gradually,and the oceanic heat under the ice was maintained at a low level approaching 0 W/m2.By the end of the measurement,the thickness of the investigated floe had reached its annual minimum,while the lateral of the floe was still in the melting phase,with a mean melting rate of 1.0 ±0.3 cm/d during the measurement,responding to an equivalent latent heat flux of 21 ±6 W/m2.The lateral melting of the floe had made a more significant contribution to the sea-ice mass balance than the surface and bottom melting in the end of August. | LEI RuiBo LI ZhiJun CHENG Bin YANG QingHua LI Na | 2011 | Chinese Journal of Polar Science2011,22,1: | 4 |

In order to explore the security risks in the voting attack of the DPOS consensus mechanism, an extensive game model between nodes was constructed, and it was concluded that the DPOS consensus mechanism relies too much on tokens, and the possibility of node attacks is very high. In order to solve the problems of frequent changes of DPOS consensus mechanism nodes, inactive node voting, excessive reliance on tokens, and malicious nodes, a dynamic, credible, and attack-evading DPOS consensus mechanism was proposed. | 20 | A Universal Principle to Accurately Synthesize Atomically Dispersed Metal–N_4 Sites for CO_2 Electroreduction显示文摘Atomically dispersed metal-nitrogen sites-anchored carbon materials have been developed as effective catalysts for CO2 electroreduction(CO2 ER),but they still suffer from the imprecisely control of type and coordination number of N atoms bonded with central metal.Herein,we develop a family of single metal atom bonded by N atoms anchored on carbons(SAs-M-N-C,M=Fe,Co,Ni,Cu)for CO2 ER,which composed of accurate pyrrole-type M-N4 structures with isolated metal atom coordinated by four pyrrolic N atoms.Benefitting from atomically coordinated environment and specific selectivity of M-N4 centers,SAs-Ni-N-C exhibits superior CO2 ER performance with onset potential of-0.3 V,CO Faradaic efficiency(F.E.) of 98.5%at-0.7 V,along with low Tafel slope of 115 mV dec-1 and superior stability of 50 h,exceeding all the previously reported M-N-C electrocatalysts for CO2-to-CO conversion.Experimental results manifest that the different intrinsic activities of M-N4 structures in SAs-M-N-C result in the corresponding sequence of Ni> Fe> Cu> Co for CO2 ER performance.An integrated Zn-CO2 battery with Zn foil and SAs-Ni-N-C is constructed to simultaneously achieve CO2-to-CO conversion and electric energy output,which delivers a peak power density of 1.4 mW cm-2 and maximum CO F.E.of 93.3%. | Wanzhen Zheng Feng Chen Qi Zeng Zhongjian Li Bin Yang Lecheng Lei Qinghua Zhang Feng He Xilin Wu Yang Hou | 2020 | Nano-Micro Letters2020,12,9: | 2 |
