1Geological Characteristics and Ore-forming Time of the Dexing Porphyry Copper Ore Mine in Jiangxi Province显示文摘The Dexing porphyry copper ore mine is located in the Qin-Hang metallogenic belt between the Yangtze block and the Cathaysia block. It is a giant porphyry copper mine in China, including 3 ore districts: Tongchang, Fujiawu and Zhushahong. Our analyses of Re in molybdenite indicate that the ore-forming material of the copper ore deposits in Dexing should be mainly mantle-derived. Our study fills in a gap in the study of formation time of the Dexing copper mine, and further proves that the copper ore deposits in the three ore districts should be formed simultaneously, about 170 Ma, belonging to the early Yanshan period, and that the formation time of the copper ore deposits should be consistent with the formation time of granodiorite porphyry in which the copper ore deposits are hosted. 3Chemotherapy initiation with single-course methotrexate alone or combined with dactinomycin versus multi-course methotrexate for low-risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia: a multi-centric randomized clinical trial显示文摘We aimed to evaluate the effectiveness and safety of single-course initial regimens in patients with low-risk gestational trophoblastic neoplasia(GTN).In this trial (NCT01823315),276 patients were analyzed.Patients were allocated to three initiated regimens:single-course methotrexate(MTX),single-course MTX+dactinomycin(ACTD),and multi-course MTX(control arm).The primary endpoint was the complete remission(CR)rate by initial drug(s).The primary CR rate was 64.4%with multi-course MTX in the control arm.For the single-course MTX arm,the CR rate was 35.8%by one course;it increased to 59.3%after subsequent multi-course MTX,with non-inferiority to the control(difference-5.1%,95%confidence interval(CI)-19.4%to 9.2%,P=0.014).After further treatment with multi-course ACTD,the CR rate(93.3%)was similar to that of the control(95.2%,P=0.577).For the single-course MTX+ACTD arm,the CR rate was 46.7%by one course,which increased to 89.1%after subsequent multi-course,with non-inferiority(difference 24.7%,95%CI 12.8%-36.6%,P<0.001)to the control.It was similar to the CR rate by MTX and further ACTD in the control arm(89.1%vs.95.2%,P=0.135).Four patients experienced recurrence,with no death,during the 2-year follow-up.We demonstrated that chemotherapy initiation with single-course MTX may be an alternative regimen for patients with low-risk GTN.Lili Chen Ling Xi Jie Jiang Rutie Yin Pengpeng Qu Xiuqin Li Xiaoyun Wan Yaxia Chen Dongxiao Hu Yuyan Mao Zimin Pan Xiaodong Cheng Xinyu Wang Qingli Li Danhui Weng Xi Zhang Hong Zhang Quanhong Ping Xiaomei Liu Xing Xie Beihua Kong Ding Ma Weiguo Lu 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,2:2

6Proteomic profiling of cotton fiber developmental transition from cell elongation to secondary wall deposition显示文摘Cotton fiber developmental transition from elongation to secondary cell wall biosynthesis is a critical growth shifting phase that affects fiber final length,strength,and other properties.Morphological dynamic analysis indicated an asynchronous fiber developmental pattern between two most important commercial cotton species,Gossypium hirsutum(Gh)and G.barbadense(Gb).Using isobaric tags for relative and absolute quantitation techniques,we examined the temporal changes of protein expression at three representative development periods(15-19,19-23,and 23-27 dpa)in both species.Strikingly,a large proportion of differentially expressed proteins(DEPs)were identified at 19-23 dpa in Gh and at 23-27 dpa in Gb,corresponding to their fiber developmental transition timing.To better understand fiber transitional development,we comparatively analyzed those DEPs in 19-23 dpa of Gh vs.in 23-27 dpa of Gb,and noted that these cotton species indeed share fundamentally similar fiber developmental features under the biological processes.We also showed that there are limited overlaps in both specific upregulated and downregulated proteins between the two species,suggesting species-specific protein regulations in the development process.Proteomic profiling results revealed dynamic changes of several key proteins and biological processes that are potentially correlated with fiber developmental transition.During the transition,upregulated proteins are mainly involved in carbohydrate/energy metabolism,oxidation-reduction,cytoskeleton,protein turnover,Ca2+signaling,etc.,whereas important downregulated proteins are mostly involved in phenylpropanoid and flavonoid secondary metabolism pathways.The gene expressions of several changed proteins in this key stage were also examined by quantitative reverse transcription polymerase chain reaction.Overall,the present study provides accurate pictures of the regulatory networks of functional proteins during the fiber developmental transition,therefore highlighting candidate genes/proteins and related pathways for the cotton fiber improvement.Xiaoyun Zhou Wenran Hu Bo Li Yang Yang Yong Zhang Kieran Thow Ling Fan Yanying Qu 2019Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2019,51,11:1

12Changes in corneal curvature and aberrations after cataract surgery显示文摘Background:Surgically induced astigmatism(SIA)and corneal high-order aberrations(HOAs)are the two main causes of poor visual quality after cataract surgery.Changes in the parameters of corneal HOAs after cataract surgery and their effects on and relationships with changes in corneal curvature have not yet been reported.This study aimed to explore changes in anterior,posterior and total corneal curvature,astigmatism and HOAs after microincision cataract surgery.Methods:Sixty-one age-related cataract patients(61 eyes)were included in this prospective study.The total,anterior and posterior corneal astigmatism and corneal HOAs were analyzed by anterior segment optical coherence tomography(AS-OCT)and iTrace before,one day,one week and three months after 2.2 mm temporal microincision coaxial phacoemulsification to evaluate the changes in anterior,posterior and total corneal curvature,astigmatism and corneal HOAs.Results:The mean J0 and J45 values of anterior,posterior and total corneal curvature obtained by ASOCT showed no statistically significant difference between preoperatively and any postoperative followup.SIA occurred on the anterior,posterior and total corneal surfaces and showed no statistically significant difference at any postoperative follow-up.No significant changes in 3rd-order oblique trefoil,vertical coma or 4th-order spherical aberrations were observed after surgery except for a significant increase in horizontal coma at postoperative day 1(POD1).Conclusions:There were no significant changes in corneal curvature after 2.2 mm temporal microincision coaxial phacoemulsification,and the corneal HOAs were not changed significantly except for the increase in horizontal coma at POD1,which may be one of the main reasons of poor visual quality at POD1 in some cataract patients who have good uncorrected or corrected distance vision.Ye Dai Xiaoting Ruan Wei Wang Xiaoyun Chen Guangming Jin Lanhua Wang Xiaoxun Gu Bo Qu Jianping Liu Xuhua Tan Enen Zhang Jun Fu Lixia Luo Zhenzhen Liu Yizhi Liu 2022Annals of Eye Science2022,,3:0
13Zeolite-encaged Ultrasmall Pt-Zn Species with Trace Amount of Pt for Efficient Propane Dehydrogenation显示文摘Propane dehydrogenation(PDH)has become a globe-welcoming technology to meet the massive demand for propylene,but the most commonly used Pt-based catalysts suffer from quick sintering,poor selectivity for propylene,and unsatisfied Pt utilization.Herein,a series of Silicalite-1(S-1)zeolite-encaged ultrasmall Pt-Zn clusters with a trace amount of Pt[40—180 ppm(parts per million)]were developed by using a one-pot ligand-protected direct H_(2) reduction method.Interestingly,the extremely low amount of Pt can significantly promote the activity of zeolite-encaged Zn catalysts in PDH reactions.Thanks to the high Pt dispersion,the synergy between Pt and Zn species,and the confinement effect of zeolites,the optimized PtZn@S-1 catalyst with 180 ppm Pt and 1.88%(mass fraction)Zn,exhibited an extraordinarily high propane conversion(33.9%)and propylene selectivity(99.5%)at 550℃with a weight hourly space velocity(WHSV)of 8 h^(-1),affording an extremely high propylene formation rate of 340.7 mol_(C_(3)H_(6))·g_(Pt^(-1))·h^(-1).This work provides a reference for the preparation of zeolite-encaged metal catalysts with high activity and noble metal utilization in PDH reactions.QU Ziqiang ZHANG Tianjun YIN Xichen ZHANG Junyi XIONG Xiaoyun SUN Qiming 2023Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2023,39,6:0
14More common RNAemia in the early stage of severe SARS-CoV-2 BF.7.14 infections in pediatric patients显示文摘The risk factors of severe infections in children during the severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS‐CoV‐2)outbreak in Beijing remain elusive.SARS‐CoV‐2‐positive children admitted to the intensive care unit(ICU)with collected plasma specimens were enrolled and screened for common pathogens using capillary electrophoresis‐based multiplex PCR from December 12,2022,to January 24,2023.The SARS‐CoV‐2 subvariants were identified using next‐generation sequencing.Plasma was positive for two(positive;P),one(suspicious;S),or no(negative;N)SARS‐CoV‐2 genes were classified as plasmatic RNA‐positive(RNAemia;P+S)or without RNAemia(N).Clinical and laboratory data of the enrolled cases were then collected and analyzed.The 34 enrolled children included 26 males and 24 younger than three years.All were negative for other respiratory pathogens.BF.7.14(18/29)was the predominant subvariant.Viral loads in respiratory specimens,hours from symptom onset to the first respiratory specimen collection(time‐variable),with comorbidities and BF.7.14 and BA.5.2 distributions were significantly different in P vs.N and RNAemia vs.without RNAemia group.Among most cases,the T lymphocyte ratios decreased,while the cytokine level and the B lymphocyte ratio increased.The time variables were 2.22±2.05 and 4.00±2.49 days in BF.7.14 and BA.5.2 infections,respectively.In conclusion,SARS‐CoV‐2 was more likely to cause severe infections among males aged≤3 years old with comorbidities during the SARS‐CoV‐2 outbreak in Beijing,while RNAemia is more common in children at the early stage of severe BF.7.14 infections,and most had high cytokine levels and B‐cell activation.Yu Sun Runan Zhu Yang Pan Ri De Shuang Liu Liping Jia Bing Lv Xiaoyun Li Dongmei Chen Yao Yao Dong Qu Daitao Zhang Linqing Zhao 2024Biosafety and Health2024,6,1:0
15Genetic Diversity of Lotus(Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn.) Cultivars Revealed by ISSR Analysis显示文摘[Objectives] This study was conducted to investigate the genetic diversity of 20 lotus( Nelumbo nucifera Gaertn) samples. [Methods]On this optimal ISSR amplification system,16 primers were screened with good polymorphism,and the DNA was used to amplify the 20 plant samples. [Results] The 16 primers produced 225 loci,of which 170 were polymorphic,and the polymorphic loci percentage was up to 75. 56%. The genetic similarity coefficients between the 20 varieties ranged from 0. 577 8 to 0. 951 1,which were calculated by POPGENE32. The 20 varieties by UPMGA analysis could be clustered into 2 groups,the first of which included Baiyangdian red lotus and Donggua lotus,and other varieties was included in the second group. 16Transmembrane domain of IFITM3 is responsible for its interaction with influenza virus HA_(2) subunit显示文摘Interferon-inducible transmembrane protein 3(IFITM3)inhibits influenza virus infection by blocking viral membrane fusion,but the exact mechanism remains elusive.Here,we investigated the function and key region of IFITM3 in blocking influenza virus entry mediated by hemagglutinin(HA).The restriction of IFITM3 on HAmediated viral entry was confirmed by pseudovirus harboring HA protein from H5 and H7 influenza viruses.Subcellular co-localization and immunocoprecipitation analyses revealed that IFITM3 partially co-located with the full-length HA protein and could directly interact with HA_(2) subunit but not HA_(1) subunit of H5 and H7 virus.Truncated analyses showed that the transmembrane domain of the IFITM3 and HA_(2) subunit might play an important role in their interaction.Finally,this interaction of IFITM3 was also verified with HA_(2) subunits from other subtypes of influenza A virus and influenza B virus.Overall,our data demonstrate for the first time a direct interaction between IFITM3 and influenza HA protein via the transmembrane domain,providing a new perspective for further exploring the biological significance of IFITM3 restriction on influenza virus infection or HA-mediated antagonism or escape.Wang Xu Yuhang Wang Letian Li Xiaoyun Qu Quan Liu Tiyuan Li Shipin Wu Ming Liao Ningyi Jin Shouwen Du Chang Li 2022Virologica Sinica2022,37,5:0
17Preparation of Nickel‑Cobalt/Carborundum Carbide Composite Coatings by Supergravity Field‑Enhanced Electrodeposition显示文摘Nickel-cobalt/silicon carbide(Ni-Co/SiC)composite coatings were fabricated by supergravity field-enhanced electrodeposition.The surface morphology and the distribution of the SiC particles in the coatings were examined by scanning electron microscope and energy dispersive X-ray spectrometry.The preferred orientations of the coatings were measured by X-ray diffractometry.The wear resistance and microhardness were measured by a reciprocating tribometer and a microhardness instrument,respectively.The results revealed that the use of the supergravity field enhanced the smoothness of the as-deposited Ni-Co/SiC coatings,and the SiC nanoparticles were uniformly distributed in comparison with that for conventional electrodeposition.When the rotation speed of the cathode,which provided the supergravity field,was 800 r/min,the SiC content in the coating reached a maximum of 8.1 wt%,which was a much higher content than the 2.2 wt%value obtained under conventional electrodeposition.The highest coating microhardness of 680 HV was also observed at this rotation speed.In addition,the wear resistance of the as-prepared Ni-Co/SiC coatings exhibited improved performance relative to that prepared under normal gravity.A minimum wear weight loss of 1.4 mg together with an average friction coefficient of 0.13 were also realized at a rotation speed of 800 r/min,values which were much lower than those for normal gravity.Xiaoyun Hu Ningsong Qu 2020Chinese Journal of Mechanical Engineering2020,33,4:0
