Insight-HXMT observations of the first binary neutron star merger GW170817显示文摘Finding the electromagnetic(EM) counterpart of binary compact star merger, especially the binary neutron star(BNS) merger,is critically important for gravitational wave(GW) astronomy, cosmology and fundamental physics. On Aug. 17, 2017,Advanced LIGO and Fermi/GBM independently triggered the first BNS merger, GW170817, and its high energy EM counterpart,GRB 170817 A, respectively, resulting in a global observation campaign covering gamma-ray, X-ray, UV, optical, IR, radio as well as neutrinos. The High Energy X-ray telescope(HE) onboard Insight-HXMT(Hard X-ray Modulation Telescope) is the unique high-energy gamma-ray telescope that monitored the entire GW localization area and especially the optical counterpart(SSS17 a/AT2017 gfo) with very large collection area(~1000 cm^2) and microsecond time resolution in 0.2-5 MeV. In addition,Insight-HXMT quickly implemented a Target of Opportunity(ToO) observation to scan the GW localization area for potential X-ray emission from the GW source. Although Insight-HXMT did not detect any significant high energy(0.2-5 MeV) radiation from GW170817, its observation helped to confirm the unexpected weak and soft nature of GRB 170817 A. Meanwhile,Insight-HXMT/HE provides one of the most stringent constraints(~10^(-7) to 10^(-6) erg/cm^2/s) for both GRB170817 A and any other possible precursor or extended emissions in 0.2-5 MeV, which help us to better understand the properties of EM radiation from this BNS merger. Therefore the observation of Insight-HXMT constitutes an important chapter in the full context of multi-wavelength and multi-messenger observation of this historical GW event. | TiPei Li ShaoLin Xiong ShuangNan Zhang FangJun Lu LiMing Song XueLei Cao Zhi Chang Gang Chen Li Chen TianXiang Chen Yong Chen YiBao Chen YuPeng Chen Wei Cui WeiWei Cui JingKang Deng YongWei Dong YuanYuan Du MinXue Fu GuanHua Gao He Gao Min Gao MingYu Ge YuDong Gu Ju Guan ChengCheng Guo DaWei Han Wei Hu Yue Huang Jia Huo ShuMei Jia LuHua Jiang WeiChun Jiang Jing Jin YongJie Jin Bing Li ChengKui Li Gang Li MaoShun Li Wei Li Xian Li XiaoBo Li XuFang Li YanGuo Li ZiJian Li ZhengWei Li XiaoHua Liang JinYuan Liao CongZhan Liu GuoQing Liu HongWei Liu ShaoZhen Liu XiaoJing Liu Yuan Liu YiNong Liu Bo Lu XueFeng Lu Tao Luo Xiang Ma Bin Meng Yi Nang JianYin Nie Ge OU JinLu Qu Na Sai Liang Sun Yin Tan Lian Tao WenHui Tao YouLi Tuo GuoFeng Wang HuanYu Wang Juan Wang WenShuai Wang YuSa Wang XiangYang Wen BoBing WU Mei Wu GuangCheng Xiao He Xu YuPeng Xu LinLi Yan JiaWei Yang Sheng Yang YanJi Yang AiMei Zhang ChunLei Zhang ChengMo Zhang Fan Zhang HongMei Zhang Juan Zhang Qiang Zhang Shu Zhang Tong Zhang Wei Zhang WanChang Zhang WenZhao Zhang Yi Zhang Yue Zhang YiFei Zhang YongJie Zhang Zhao Zhang ZiLiang Zhang HaiSheng Zhao JianLing Zhao XiaoFan Zhao ShiJie Zheng Yue Zhu YuXuan Zhu ChangLin Zou | 2018 | Science China(Physics,Mechanics & Astronomy)2018,61,3: | 12

Hydrogel-based artificial enzyme for combating bacteria and accelerating wound healing显示文摘Artificial enzymes have provided great antimicrobial activity to combat wound infection. However, the lack of tissue repair capability compromised their treatment effect. Therefore, development of novel artificial enzyme concurrently with the excellent antibacterial activity and the property of promoting wound healing are required. Here,we demonstrated the hydrogel-based artificial enzyme composed of copper and amino acids possessed intrinsic peroxidase-like catalytic activity, which could combat wound pathogen effectively and accelerate wound healing by stimulating angiogenesis and collagen deposition.Furthermore, the system possesses good biocompatibility for practical application. The synergic effect of the hydrogel-based artificial enzyme promises the system as a new paradigm in bacteria-infected wound healing therapy. | Hao Qiu Fang Pu Zhengwei Liu Xuemeng Liu Kai Dong Chaoqun Liu Jinsong Ren Xiaogang Qu | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,2: | 6
The landscape of aging显示文摘Aging is characterized by a progressive deterioration of physiological integrity, leading to impaired functional ability and ultimately increased susceptibility to death. It is a major risk factor for chronic human diseases, including cardiovascular disease, diabetes, neurological degeneration, and cancer. Therefore, the growing emphasis on “healthy aging” raises a series of important questions in life and social sciences. In recent years, there has been unprecedented progress in aging research, particularly the discovery that the rate of aging is at least partly controlled by evolutionarily conserved genetic pathways and biological processes. In an attempt to bring full-fledged understanding to both the aging process and age-associated diseases,we review the descriptive, conceptual, and interventive aspects of the landscape of aging composed of a number of layers at the cellular, tissue, organ, organ system, and organismal levels. | Yusheng Cai Wei Song Jiaming Li Ying Jing Chuqian Liang Liyuan Zhang Xia Zhang Wenhui Zhang Beibei Liu Yongpan An Jingyi Li Baixue Tang Siyu Pei Xueying Wu Yuxuan Liu Cheng-Le Zhuang Yilin Ying Xuefeng Dou Yu Chen Fu-Hui Xiao Dingfeng Li Ruici Yang Ya Zhao Yang Wang Lihui Wang Yujing Li Shuai Ma Si Wang Xiaoyuan Song Jie Ren Liang Zhang Jun Wang Weiqi Zhang Zhengwei Xie Jing Qu Jianwei Wang Yichuan Xiao Ye Tian Gelin Wang Ping Hu Jing Ye Yu Sun Zhiyong Mao Qing-Peng Kong Qiang Liu Weiguo Zou Xiao-Li Tian Zhi-Xiong Xiao Yong Liu Jun-Ping Liu Moshi Song Jing-Dong J.Han Guang-Hui Liu | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,12: | 4

Biomarkers of aging显示文摘Aging biomarkers are a combination of biological parameters to(i)assess age-related changes,(ii)track the physiological aging process, and(iii)predict the transition into a pathological status.Although a broad spectrum of aging biomarkers has been developed, their potential uses and limitations remain poorly characterized. An immediate goal of biomarkers is to help us answer the following three fundamental questions in aging research:How old are we?Why do we get old?And how can we age slower? This review aims to address this need. Here,we summarize our current knowledge of biomarkers developed for cellular, organ, and organismal levels of aging, comprising six pillars:physiological characteristics, medical imaging, histological features, cellular alterations, molecular changes, and secretory factors. To fulfill all these requisites,we propose that aging biomarkers should qualify for being specific, systemic, and clinically relevant. | Aging Biomarker Consortium Hainan Bao Jiani Cao Mengting Chen Min Chen Wei Chen Xiao Chen Yanhao Chen Yu Chen Yutian Chen Zhiyang Chen Jagadish K Chhetri Yingjie Ding Junlin Feng Jun Guo Mengmeng Guo Chuting He Yujuan Jia Haiping Jiang Ying Jing Dingfeng Li Jiaming Li Jingyi Li Qinhao Liang Rui Liang Feng Liu Xiaoqian Liu Zuojun Liu Oscar Junhong Luo Jianwei Lv Jingyi Ma Kehang Mao Jiawei Nie Xinhua Qiao Xinpei Sun Xiaoqiang Tang Jianfang Wang Qiaoran Wang Siyuan Wang Xuan Wang Yaning Wang Yuhan Wang Rimo Wu Kai Xia Fu-Hui Xiao Lingyan Xu Yingying Xu Haoteng Yan Liang Yang Ruici Yang Yuanxin Yang Yilin Ying Le Zhang Weiwei Zhang Wenwan Zhang Xing Zhang Zhuo Zhang Min Zhou Rui Zhou Qingchen Zhu Zhengmao Zhu Feng Cao Zhongwei Cao Piu Chan Chang Chen Guobing Chen Hou-Zao Chen Jun Chen Weimin Ci Bi-Sen Ding Qiurong Ding Feng Gao Jing-Dong JHan Kai Huang Zhenyu Ju Qing-Peng Kong Ji Li Jian Li Xin Li Baohua Liu Feng Liu Lin Liu Qiang Liu Qiang Liu Xingguo Liu Yong Liu Xianghang Luo Shuai Ma Xinran Ma Zhiyong Mao Jing Nie Yaojin Peng Jing Qu Jie Ren Ruibao Ren Moshi Song Zhou Songyang Yi Eve Sun Yu Sun Mei Tian Shusen Wang Si Wang Xia Wang Xiaoning Wang Yan-Jiang Wang Yunfang Wang Catherine CL Wong Andy Peng Xiang Yichuan Xiao Zhengwei Xie Daichao Xu Jing Ye Rui Yue Cuntai Zhang Hongbo Zhang Liang Zhang Weiqi Zhang Yong Zhang Yun-Wu Zhang Zhuohua Zhang Tongbiao Zhao Yuzheng Zhao Dahai Zhu Weiguo Zou Gang Pei Guang-Hui Liu | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,5: | 2
Specific generation of nitric oxide in mitochondria of cancer cell for selective oncotherapy显示文摘Nitric oxide(NO)gas therapy,especially,L-arginine(L-Arg)-based NO treatment strategies have attracted extensive attention in the field of oncotherapy. However, current strategies are unable to differentiate well between normal cells and cancer cells, which may lead to unpredictable toxicity.Motivated by the fact that mitochondria of cancer cells can express excessive nitric oxide synthetase(NOS),herein,a nanozyme-based NO generator, cerium oxide(CeO_(2))-AT,is fabricated to specifically catalyze the production of NO in cancer cells for selective tumor treatment. In this system, after being endocytosed into cancer cells, the generator can produce a number of NO under the catalysis of NOS in mitochondria of cancer cells, which can disrupt the mitochondrial respiratory chain of tumor cells and further induce cell apoptosis. In addition, the generator with catalase(CAT)-like activity can catalyze H_(2)O_(2)to produce O_(2),which can promote the generation of NO and improve the performance of NO gas therapy. What is more, our system has no obvious impact on the viability of normal cells owing to the less production of NO.Our work paves a new way for the development of highly selective NO-based treatment particularly useful for the safe and specific cancer therapy. | Mengyu Sun Yanjuan Sang Qingqing Deng Zhengwei Liu Jinsong Ren Xiaogang Qu | 2022 | Nano Research2022,15,6: | 1

Preliminary Screening and Characterization of Microsatellite Markers in RAD-seq Data of Datnioides pulcher显示文摘[Objective]The paper was to develop the microsatellite markers of Datnioides pulcher, and to screen polymorphic SSR primers.[Method]D.pulcher was performed reduced-representation genome sequencing using RAD-seq(Restriction-site associated DNA sequencing).[Result]A total of 13308806 high-quality clean reads(HQ clean reads)lengths were obtained and 26359 simple sequence repeats(SSR)loci were detected in the obtained sequence by SSR search software, which consisted of 496 repeat motifs. The most common types of repeat were A/T in single base repeat sequence, and AC/GT and A G/GT repeat units in di-base repeat sequence.AGG/CCT,AGC/CTG and AGG/CCT were the dominant types in tri-base repeat sequence. In quantity, the di-base repeat type SSR loci were the largest(19492),accounting for 73.95%of the total SSR loci.Except for mono-nucleotide type, the repetition frequency of SSR loci was mainly ranged from 4 to 9,and the number of polymorphic SSR loci was 2783.About 20066 pairs of SSR primers were successfully designed with Primer 5.0.The success rate of primer design was 76.13%.According to the repetition type and repetition number in the sequencing data,100 di-to penta-base repetition type SSRs were randomly selected and validated by PCR and polyacrylamide gel in six D.pulcher samples.A total of 73 pairs of primers were amplified by electrophoresis, and 20 of them were polymorphic.[Conclusion]The developed SSR sequences can be used for genetic analysis, genetic map construction and molecular marker assisted breeding of D.pulcher and its related species. | Qu Zhengwei Song Hongmei Wang Xuejie Liu Yi Mu Xidong Liu Chao Hu Yinchang | 2020 | Animal Husbandry and Feed Science2020,12,2: | 0
Reduced irreversible capacities of graphene oxide-based anodes used for lithium ion batteries via alkali treatment显示文摘The large irreversible capacities of graphene oxide-based anodes hinder commercial applications of GO materials although the high specific capacity of it has been universally accepted. In this paper, GO was treated under alkaline condition and the composite consisting of the modified GO and graphite was used as anode for lithium ion batteries (LIBs), resulting in an improved initial coulombic efficiency. Electrochemical tests also showed that the modified GO/graphite electrode possessed 86.0% of initial coulombic efficiency, which was 15% higher than that of pristine GO/graphite electrode. The species and the content of functional groups were investigated via XPS, FTIR characterizations in detail, which certified that the ring-opening reaction of epoxides under alkaline condition could greatly reduce the irreversible capacity of GO/graphite anode, in addition, the reversible capacity was guaranteed at the same time. This modified GO/graphite electrodes in the LIBs exhibit superior rate capability and long cycle life. The uniqueness of this electrode lied in its chemical stability, which benefits from the transition of epoxide group and unstable functional groups removal. | Danhua Jiao Zhengwei Xie Qi Wan Meizhen Qu | 2019 | Journal of Energy Chemistry2019,28,10: | 0
