1Paleogene-Neogene stratigraphic realm and sedimentary sequence of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and their response to uplift of the plateau显示文摘Based on the data of 1:250000 geological mapping completed by CGS and the previous literature of the Cenozoic strata, 98 remnant basins and 5 stratigraphic realms with 13 stratigraphic subrealms have been recognized on the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its adjacent area. 2Cenozoic sedimentary records and geochronological constraints of differential uplift of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau显示文摘Geological mapping data (1:250000) in the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau and its adjacent regions reveal the sediment sequences, distribution and tectonic evolution of the 92 Tertiary remnant basins. Southern Tibet and the Yecheng area in Xinjiang, located at southern and northwestern margins of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau, respectively, were parts of the Neo-Tethys remnant sea in the Paleogene. In southern Tibet, both the subabyssal and abyssal sequences occur at the Gyangze, Saga, Guoyala, and Sangmai areas. The deep-water facies successions outcrop in the west, whereas the shallow-water facies sequences in the east, indicating the east to the west retreat of the Neo-Tethys Ocean. The retreat of the Neo-Tethys Ocean in the east was contributed to the earlier tectonic uplift of the eastern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. The uplift process of the Plateau from the Late Cretaceous to Pliocene is described as follows: During the Late Cretaceous, tectonic uplift of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau occurred in the northeastern part and the configuration of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was characterized by rise in the northeast and depression in the west. In the Paleocene-Eocene interval, the Tengchong-Baingoin and Kuyake-Golmud areas experienced local tectonic uplifting, the West Kunlun uplift zone broadened easterly, the Qilian uplift zone broadened southerly, and the Songpan-Garzê uplift zone shrank easterly. The Oligocene configuration of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau was characterized by mountain chains rising along its margins and sedimentary basins in the central part because of tectonic uplifts of the Gangdisê and the Himalaya blocks. Meanwhile, the Kunlun-Altyn-Qilian uplift zones have also broadened southerly and northerly. In contrast, the great uplift zones of the Gangdisê, the Himalaya, the Karakorum, and the Kunlun blocks characterize the paleogeographic contours of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau during the Miocene-Pliocene. Additionally, the thermochronological data on tectonic uplift events in southern Tibet, West Kunlun Mountains, Altyn Tagh, eastern Tibet, and western Sichuan all suggest that the most intense deformation occurred at 13-8 Ma and since 5 Ma, respectively, corresponding to two great uplift periods in Neogene. As a result, turnover of paleogeographic configuration of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau occurred during the Neogene, experiencing a change from high contours in the east in the pre-Oligocene to high contours in the west at the end-Pliocene. 3Surface pollen assemblages of human-disturbed vegetation and their relationship with vegetation and climate in Northeast China显示文摘Pollen assemblages of 53 surface pollen samples from farmlands and wastelands in Northeast China were analyzed. Tree pollen percentages were usually higher than 30%, with Pinus (26.9%), Quercus (0.9%), Betula (0.9%) and Populus (0.7%) as the major types, and herb pollen percentages were usually higher than 50%, with weedy Poaceae (8.7%), Chenopodiaceae (7.1%), Artemisia (1.9%) and Compositae (3.5%) as the major taxa. Thus, the pollen assemblages were consistent with the regional vegetation compositions. However, there were differences in pollen assemblages among regions, especially among different geomorphological units. For example, in the mountains, there were more types of tree pollen and higher total percentages (average 42%) than in other areas, while cereal pollen percentages were lowest (11.2%). In the hills and high plains, herbs made up more than 60% of the pollens, with cereals (average 53.6%) the dominant type. In the low plains, pollen types were similar to those in the hills and high plains, but total pollen concentrations and the proportion of Concentricystes were much higher, while cereal pollen percentages were slightly lower (average 41.6%). Pollen assemblages in different land use types also differed. For example, in farmland, cereal pollen percentages were more than 40% and Chenopodiaceae was usually less than 2.5%, while in wasteland, weedy Poaceae was usually less than 10% and Chenopodiaceae was usually higher than 25%. Total pollen concentrations in farmland (average 3909 grains/g) were much lower than in wasteland (average 15074 grains/g). Redundancy analysis revealed that pollen assemblages were significantly negatively correlated with mean annual temperature (-0.73) and July mean temperature (-0.81) and significantly positively correlated with mean annual precipitation (0.48), indicating that pollen assemblages in the artificial or human-disturbed vegetation reflect regional climate well. Comparison of pollen assemblages in different areas of northern China showed that pollen concentrations reflect the intensities of human impact to some degree. For example, pollen concentrations decrease as human impacts increase in intensity. The cereal pollen proportions in farmland differed by area. 4Sedimentary Evolution of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in Cenozoic and its Response to the Uplift of the Plateau显示文摘We have studied the evolution of the tectonic lithofacies paleogeography of Paleocene-Eocene, Oligocene, Miocene, and Pliocene of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau by compiling data regarding the type, tectonic setting, and lithostratigraphic sequence of 98 remnant basins in the plateau area. Our results can be summarized as follows. (1) The Paleocene to Eocene is characterized by uplift and erosion in the Songpan-Garzê and Gangdisê belts, depression (lakes and pluvial plains) in eastern Tarim, Qaidam, Qiangtang, and Hoh Xil, and the Neo-Tethys Sea in the western and southern Qinghai-Tibet Plateau. (2) The Oligocene is characterized by uplift in the Gangdisê-Himalaya and Karakorum regions (marked by the absence of sedimentation), fluvial transport (originating eastward and flowing westward) in the Brahmaputra region (marked by the deposition of Dazhuka conglomerate), uplift and erosion in western Kunlun and Songpan-Garzê, and depression (lakes) in the Tarim, Qaidam, Qiangtang, and Hoh Xil. The Oligocene is further characterized by depressional littoral and neritic basins in southwestern Tarim, with marine facies deposition ceasing at the end of the Oligocene. (3) For the Miocene, a widespread regional unconformity (ca. 23 Ma) in and adjacent to the plateau indicates comprehensive uplift of the plateau. This period is characterized by depressions (lakes) in the Tarim, Qaidam, Xining-Nanzhou, Qiangtang, and Hoh Xil. Lacustrine facies deposition expanded to peak in and adjacent to the plateau ca. 18-13 Ma, and north-south fault basins formed in southern Tibet ca. 13-10 Ma. All of these features indicate that the plateau uplifted to its peak and began to collapse. (4) Uplift and erosion occurred during the Pliocene in most parts of the plateau, except in the Hoh Xil-Qiangtang, Tarim, and Qaidam. The continuous uplift and intensive taphrogeny in the plateau divided the original large basin into small basins, deposition of lacustrine facies decreased considerably, and boulderstone accumulated, indicating a response to the overall uplift of the plateau. Here, we discuss the evolution of tectonic lithofacies paleogeography in Cenozoic and its response to the tectonic uplift of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in relation to the above characteristics. We have recognized five major uplift events, which occurred during 58-53 Ma, 45-30 Ma, 25-20 Ma, 13-7 Ma, and since 5 Ma. 5Surface pollen assemblages as indicators of human impact in the warm temperate hilly areas of eastern China显示文摘Investigation of 78 surface pollen samples from warm temperate hilly areas of eastern China shows that pollen assemblages in areas of different land use are significantly different.Pollen concentrations in wastelands are higher than in plantations;these,in turn,are higher than in farmlands;implying that pollen concentration decreases with increasing human impact.Arboreal pollen dominated by Pinus and Quercus is common in all samples.Herbaceous pollen percentages are higher while shrub pollen,fern spores and fern allies are lower in farmlands than in wastelands.Crop pollen is only detectable in and near farmlands;its percentages and concentrations decrease in wastelands.Cereal and Cruciferae pollen percentages average 16.7% and 6.7% in farmland respectively,but Cereal reduces to less than 3% and Cruciferae to less than 0.5% in nearby wastelands.Principle coordinates analysis and clustering analysis indicate that pollen assemblages from farmlands are distinguishable from those under other vegetation types.Occurrence of Poaceae,Chenopodiaceae,Artemisia,and Compositae pollen and Selaginella sinensis spores are closely related to human activities,and their types and frequencies indicate intensity of human impact.The spatial distribution of crops,Chenopodiaceae,and Artemisia reflects changes in both natural environments and human activities.Percentages of cereal and Cruciferae pollen,for example,increase with decreasing altitude,but decrease with increasing latitude.Understanding pollen assemblages under artificial and human-disturbed vegetation in hilly areas may aid understanding of human impacts on the plains during the early-middle Holocene.DING Wei PANG RuiMing XU QingHai LI YueCong CAO XianYong 2011Chinese Science Bulletin2011,56,10:6

8Mesenchymal stromal cells alleviate acute respiratory distress syndrome through the cholinergic anti-inflammatory pathway显示文摘Mesenchymal stromal cells(MSCs)have been considered a promising alternative for treatment of acute respiratory distress syndrome(ARDS).However,there is significant heterogeneity in their therapeutic efficacy,largely owing to the incomplete understanding of the mechanisms underlying the therapeutic activities of MSCs.Here,we hypothesize that the cholinergic antiinflammatory pathway(CAP),which is recognized as a neuroimmunological pathway,may be involved in the therapeutic mechanisms by which MSCs mitigate ARDS.Using lipopolysaccharide(LPS)and bacterial lung inflammation models,we found that inflammatory cell infiltration and Evans blue leakage were reduced and that the expression levels of choline acetyltransferase(ChAT)and vesicular acetylcholine transporter(VAChT)in lung tissue were significantly increased 6 hours after MSC infusion.When the vagus nerve was blocked orα7 nicotinic acetylcholine(ACh)receptor(α7nAChR)-knockout mice were used,the therapeutic effects of MSCs were significantly reduced,suggesting that the CAP may play an important role in the effects of MSCs in ARDS treatment.Our results further showed that MSC-derived prostaglandin E2(PGE2)likely promoted ACh synthesis and release.Additionally,based on the efficacy of nAChR andα7nAChR agonists,we found that lobeline,the nicotinic cholinergic receptor excitation stimulant,may attenuate pulmonary inflammation and alleviate respiratory symptoms of ARDS patients in a clinical study(ChiCTR2100047403).In summary,we reveal a previously unrecognized MSC-mediated mechanism of CAP activation as the means by which MSCs alleviate ARDS-like syndrome,providing insight into the clinical translation of MSCs or CAP-related strategies for the treatment of patients with ARDS.Xiaoran Zhang Xuxia Wei Yiwen Deng Xiaofeng Yuan Jiahao Shi Weijun Huang Jing Huang Xiaoyong Chen Shuwei Zheng Jieying Chen Keyu Chen Ruiming Xu Hongmiao Wang Weiqiang Li Shiyue Li Huimin Yi Andy Peng Xiang 2022Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2022,7,10:1

11Unraveling the influence of interface defects on antimony trisulfide solar cells显示文摘Antimony trisulfide(Sb_(2)S_(3)) solar cells suffer from large open circuit voltage deficits due to their intrinsic defects which limit the power conversion efficiency.Thus,it is important to elucidate these defects’ origin and defects at the interface.Here,we discover that sulfide radical defects have a significant impact on the performance of Sb_(2)S_(3)solar cells.Moreover,it has been illustrated that these defects at the CdS/Sb_(2)S_(3)interface can be reduced by optimizing the deposition process.A trap distribution model is used to quantify the defect density at the CdS/Sb_(2)S_(3)interface.It shows that the interface defects can be reduced by24% by improving the deposition process.This work reveals the importance of interface defects and guides the future optimization of Sb_(2)S_(3)solar cells.Hongyi Chen Cheng Wang Shaoying Wang Ruiming Li Yan Zeng Zhe Li Zhengwei Ou Qianqian Lin Jianmin Li Ti Wang Hongxing Xu 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,3:0
12Global Ramp Uniformity Correction Method for Super-Large Array CMOS Image Sensors显示文摘Aiming at the problem of the non-uniformity of the ramp signal in the super-large array CMOS(complementary metal-oxide semiconductor)image sensors,a ramp uniformity correction method for CMOS image sensors is proposed in this paper.Based on the error storage technique,the ramp non-uniformity error is stored.And the input ramp signal of each column is shifted by level-shifting technique to eliminate the ramp non-uniformity error.Based on the 55 nm-1P4M CMOS process,this paper has completed the detailed circuit design and comprehensive simulation verification of the proposed method.Under the design conditions that the voltage range of the ramp signal is 1.4 V,the slope of the ramp signal is 71.908 V/ms,the number of pixels is 8192(H)×8192(V),and a single pixel size is 10μm,the correction method proposed in this paper reduces the ramp non-uniformity error from 7.89 mV to 36μV.The differential non-linearity of the ramp signal is+0.0013/−0.004 LSB and the integral non-linearity is+0.045/−0.021 LSB.The ramp uniformity correction method proposed in this paper reduces the ramp non-uniformity error by 99.54%on the basis of ensuring the high linearity of the ramp signal,without significantly increasing the chip area and without introducing additional power consumption.The column fixed-pattern noise is reduced from 1.9%to 0.01%.It provides theoretical support for the design of high-precision CMOS image sensors.Ruiming XU Zhongjie GUO Suiyang LIU Ningmei YU 2024Chinese Journal of Electronics2024,33,2:0

14Overcoming power efficiency limitation of white fluorescence light-emitting diodes via multilevel-hydrogen-bond matrix显示文摘High power efficiency and low efficiency roll-off at practical luminance are two requirements for new-generation energy-saving lighting technologies,which are still bottlenecks of thermally activated delayed fluorescence(TADF)white organic light-emitting diodes(WOLED),despite the advantages of TADF materials and devices in low cost and high sustainability.Herein,we developed a spiro phosphine oxide host named SSOXSPO,which can form multiple and multidirectional intermolecular hydrogen bonds(IHB).The resulted multilevel IHB network integrates long-range ordered and short-range disordered alignments for suppressing triplet-polaron quenching(TPQ)and triplet-triplet annihilation(TTA).Electronic characteristics of SSOXSPO matrix are further regulated,leading to the optimal exciton allocation through balancing energy and charge transfer.As consequence,using SSOXSPO as host,the single-emissive-layer TADF WOLEDs realized the record performance,including ultralow operation voltage as∼4.0 V,power efficiency beyond fluorescent tube(70.1 lm W−1)and negligible external quantum efficiency roll-off(3%)at 1000 nits for indoor lighting.This work demonstrates that multiple interplays supported by host matrixes in TADF WOLEDs can facilitate the synergistic effects of TADF emitters on 100%exciton utilization.Ruiming Du Peng Ma Yi Man Yudong Pang Chunbo Duan Chunmiao Han Jing Zhang Chenhui Cao Ying Wei Xinfeng Shui Hui Xu 2023Aggregate2023,4,6:0
15Post-modification of MOF to fabricate single-atom dispersed hollow nanocages catalysts for enhancing CO_(2)conversion显示文摘During the catalytic process,the microenvironment and surface area of the catalyst will affect the catalytic performance.Hence,an assisted organic linker coated metal-organic framework(MOF)has been applied,to form Ni/HNC(HNC represents hollow nanocage)for electrocatalytic CO_(2)reduction.Remarkably,Ni/HNC achieves superb activity with high Faradaic efficiency(FE)of 97.2%at 0.7 V vs.reversible hydrogen electrode(RHE)towards CO_(2)conversion to CO.In contrast to Ni/NPC(afforded from the naked MOF),the Ni/HNC displays higher FE and selectivity on CO rather than H_(2),owing to the large nanocage which extraordinarily facilitates CO_(2)enrichment and the active sites easily accessible.This work provides a general and feasible route to construct high-efficient electrochemical CO_(2)reduction reaction(EC-CO_(2)RR)catalysts via post-modified MOFs.Ruirui Yun Ruiming Xu Changsong Shi Beibei Zhang Tuanhui Li Lei He Tian Sheng Zheng Chen 2023Nano Research2023,16,7:0
16Output feedback stabilization of stochastic high-order planar nonlinear systems with stochastic inverse dynamics and output-constraint显示文摘In this paper,we solve the output feedback control problem of stochastic high-order planar nonlinear systems with output constraint and stochastic integral input-to-state stability(SiISS)inverse dynamics.By employing a key coordinate transformation,a stochastic nonlinear system with output constraint and SiISS inverse dynamics is converted into an unconstrained system.By skillfully constructing an observer and adopting SiISS small-gain conditions,we develop a new output feedback control design and analysis method,and prove that all the closed-system signals are bounded almost surely,the output constraint is not violated almost surely,and the equilibrium point of the closed-loop system is stochastically asymptotically stable.Ruiming XIE Shengyuan XU 2024Science China(Information Sciences)2024,67,3:0
