| 2 | Effects of Huatan Tongluo decoction on vascular endothelial growth factor receptor 2 expression in synovial tissues of rats with collagen-induced arthritis显示文摘OBJECTIVE: To determine the therapeutic effect and potential mechanism of Huatan Tongluo decoction on rats with collagen-induced arthritis.METHODS: Forty specific pathogen-free Wistar rats were selected, and 10 were randomly selected as the control(group 1). The remaining rats were injected intradermally with emulsified type Ⅱ bovine collagen at the tail base and back, followed by a booster 7 d post first immunization. After establishing collagen-induced arthritis(CIA), rats were randomly divided into three groups(n = 10). The rats were treated orally for 30 d as follows: group 1, saline; group 2, model(saline); group 3, tripterygium polyglycoside(TP; 7.81 mg/kg, positive control);group 4, Huatan Tongluo decoction(HTTL; 7.5 g/kg). Body weight, ankle swelling and arthritis index were measured over the course of the study. The rats were sacrificed 30 d after treatment. Morphological changes in the synovium were observed by hematoxylin and eosin staining. Pannus formation and synovial thickness in the left ankle were observed by color Doppler ultrasoundVascular endothelial growth factor(VEGF) and VEGFR2 protein levels were measured by immunohistochemistry.VEGF/VEGFR2 mRNA levels were measured by real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction.RESULTS: Compared with the model group, a significantly lower arthritis index was observed in the positive control group(P < 0.05) and HTTL group(P < 0.01), after treatment. Both positive control and HTTL reduced intra-articular pannus formation and synovial thickening. | 3 | Flame Retardancy of Epoxy Resin/β-cyclodextrin@Resorcinol Bisdiphenylphosphate Inclusion Composites显示文摘In order to improve the efficiency of β-CD,the inclusion complex of β-CD and resorcinol bisdiphenylphosphate (RDP) (β-CD@RDP) was prepared,which β-CD was as the host component and RDP was as the guest.The structure and thermal stability property of β-CD@RDP was also characterized.EP/β-CD@RDP composites were prepared by adding β-CD@RDP into EP matrix.The results of thermogravimetric test showed that the flame retardant systems could effectively increase the corresponding temperature of EP matrix to reach the maximum thermal decomposition rate,and exhibited good char-forming property.When the amount of β-CD@RDP in EP was 20wt%,the limiting oxygen index (LOI) value of EP was increased to 26.5% from 19.8%,and the vertical burning test (UL-94) reached V-1 level.The cone calorimeter test indicated that 20wt% loading in EP could reduce the peak of heat release rate (PHRR) and the total heat release (THR) of EP by 94.7% and 93.4% respectively,and the peak of smoke production rate (PSPR) and the total smoke production (TSP) was reduced by 16.7% and 22.2%,respectively.Therefore,the addition of β-CD@RDP could reduce the fire risk of EP effectively. | SHAN Xueying HAN Ji SONG Yan XING Zhixiang LI Jinchun | 2020 | Journal of Wuhan University of Technology(Materials Science)2020,35,2: | 4 |
| 4 | Synthetic Process of Bio-Based Phenol Formaldehyde Adhesive Derived from Demethylated Wheat Straw Alkali Lignin and Its Curing Behavior显示文摘Lignin is a natural biopolymer with a complex three-dimensional network, commercially obtained from wasteliquid of paper pulp and bioethanol production, and could be a candidate for preparation of environment-friendlybio-based polyphenol material. In the present work, the demethylated wheat straw alkali lignin (D-Lig), preparedby demethylation of wheat straw alkali lignin (Lig) using an in-situ generated Lewis acid, was used to synthesizebio-based phenol formaldehyde resin adhesive (D-LPF) applied in plywood. Effects of synthetic process’s factors,including lignin substitution for phenol, NaOH concentration and molar ratio of formaldehyde to phenol, on thebonding strength and free formaldehyde content of D-LPF were investigated in detail, and the optimum syntheticprocess of D-LPF was obtained as following: Lignin substitution for phenol 60%, NaOH concentration 5.0% andmolar ratio of formaldehyde to phenol 2.0, and under the optimum reaction condition, the D-LPF presented lower free formaldehyde content (0.18%) and higher bonding strength (2.19 MPa), which was better than those ofcontaining-lignin phenol formaldehyde resin adhesive (LPF). Additionally, the curing behavior of the adhesivewas studied by differential scanning calorimetry (DSC) combined with gel time. It can be obtained that D-LPFresin adhesive had the shortest gel time, and fastest curing rate, compared with those of PF and L-PF resin adhesives. The curing kinetics data was fitted well by Kissinger model using non-isothermal DSC method, and theaverage activation energy value was 85.3 kJ/mol, slightly higher than that of commercial PF resin, while lowerthan that of LPF (90.2 kJ/mol). | 6 | Sort-based relay selection algorithm for decode-and-forward relay system显示文摘In this paper, a sort-based relay selection algorithm is proposed for decode-and-forward wireless relay systems. The proposed algorithm can reduce computational complexity and system overhead in the relay selection for practical decode-and-forward wireless relay systems with multiple sources and multiple relays. This would be a very important improvement. Firstly, the sufficient and necessary conditions for a relay to be feasible to a source are derived. By adopting relay transmission via its feasible relay, the source can improve channel capacity compared to direct transmission. Then, a sort-based relay selection algorithm is proposed based on the sufficient and necessary conditions. In the proposed algorithm, each relay makes decision on its feasibility individually, but the final source-relay paring decision is made in a centralized manner. Simulation results show that the proposed algorithm can provide considerable system performance improvement over the existing algorithm. | 7 | Hypoxia-associated circular RNA RPPH1 modulates triple-negative breast cancer cell growth via the miR-1296-5p/TRIM14 axis显示文摘Hypoxia affects the advancement,metastasis,and metabolism of breast cancer(BC).The circular RNA ribonuclease P RNA component H1(circRPPH1)(has_circ_0000515)is implicated in tumor progression.Nevertheless,the regulatory mechanism related to circRPPH1 in hypoxia-mediated triple-negative breast cancer(TNBC)progression is indistinct.The expression levels of circRPPH1,miR-1296-5p,tripartite motif-containing 14(TRIM14)mRNA in tissue samples and cells were examined through quantitative real-time polymerase chain reaction(qRT-PCR).Cell viability,migration,and invasion were determined with Cell Counting Kit-8(CCK-8)or transwell assays.The levels of glucose consumption and lactate production were assessed via the Glucose Assay Kit or Lactate Assay Kit.The protein levels of TRIM14,Glucose Transporter GLUT1(GLUT1),and lactic dehydrogenase A(LDHA)were detected by western blot analysis.The targeting relationship between circRPPH1 or TRIM14 and miR-1296-5p was verified with dual-luciferase reporter assay.The role of circRPPH1 was confirmed via xenograft assay.We verified that circRPPH1 and TRIM14 expression were increased while miR-1296-5p expression was decreased in BC tissues and hypoxia-cultured TNBC cells.Functionally,circRPPH1 silencing reversed the promoting effect of hypoxia on viability,migration,invasion,and glycolysis of TNBC cells.CircRPPH1 knockdown repressed decreased TNBC cell growth in vivo.Mechanistically,circRPPH1 sponged miR-1296-5p to modulate TRIM14 expression.Also,miR-1296-5p silencing restored circRPPH1 inhibition-mediated influence on the viability,migration,invasion,and glycolysis of hypoxia-treated TNBC cells.TRIM14 elevation overturned the inhibitory impact of miR-1296-5p mimic on viability,migration,invasion,and glycolysis of hypoxia-cultured TNBC cells.In conclusion,hypoxia-induced circRPPH1 fostered TNBC progression through regulation of the miR-1296-5p/TRIM14 axis,indicating that circRPPH1 was a promising target for TNBC treatment. | DILIXIATI JINSIHAN DAN LI MINGSHUAI ZHANG JINCHUN FENG QIAN ZHAO | 2021 | BIOCELL2021,45,3: | 1 |

| 12 | The formation age and evolution of Kumtagh Desert显示文摘The ancient aeolian sand has been regarded as an indicator for the formation and evolution of a desert in the past.Kumtagh Desert is located at the northern fringe of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau.The first integrated scientific investigation to the desert was carried out during the period of 2004-2006.Kumtagh Desert is an ideal natural model for studying the formation and evolution of the desert because the Quaternary strata containing ancient aeolian sands are widely distributed.The integrated field investigation and studies on sedimentary,chronology and palynology of typical profiles named Suosuo gully,Xiaoquan gully and gravel body with ancient aeolian sand layers showed that Kumtagh Desert was probably formed as early as 2,097.7±314.7 ka BP.During the period of 386.9±58.0 ka BP to 285.9±42.9 ka BP,the desert largely expanded and formed its modern distribution pattern.The desert was originally developed in the southwest,subsequently,expanded to the north and northeast.The sedimentary facies of Suosuo gully profile revealed that the desert experienced at least 19 cycles of advance and inverse processes of desertification with an average period of 110 ka in the Quaternary.The neotectonic movements played an important role in the formation,development and geomorphology of the desert.On one hand,the movements caused the formation of intermontane fault basin,which was further developed towards the closed drought basin,and caused the formation of natural environment.On the other hand,under the control of surrounding faults,the unique broom-shaped desert landscape was formed,and the gullies and sand ridges in this region experienced an abrupt directional change from north by west to north by east at the location of 39°45'-39°55'N.The unique landscape of gravel body that occurred widely in the northern desert was formed after 285.9±42.9 ka BP.The results in this paper provide the scientific basis for studying the formation age and evolutionary process under the dry climate and environment in the northwestern China,and the uplifting of Qinghai-Tibet Plateau as well as its responses to the global climate changes. | JinNian TANG ZhiZhu SU Feng DING ShuJuan ZHU YouHao E XinWei ZHAI ZhiYu Yl HuJun LIU JinChun ZHANGI FaMing LI | 2011 | Journal of Arid Land2011,3,2: | 1 |

| 14 | A Study of Genetic Polymorphism of Cassava Germplasms and ISSR Molecular Markers显示文摘[Objective] This study aimed to analyze the genetic polymorphism of 39 cassava varieties (lines) preserved in Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region Research Institute for Subtropical Crops. [Method] ISSR primers with good polymorphisms and amplification effects in cassava were selected for PCR amplification of 39 cassava germplasms, statistics and analysis of the amplified bands were conducted. In addition, cluster analysis was conducted by using UPGMA method based on the genetic similarity among cassava varieties (lines). [Result] Ten pairs of ISSR primers were selected. A total of 70 clear electrophoretic bands were amplified, each pair of primers had amplified 3-9 electrophoretic bands, with an average of 7, and the length of amplified bands ranged from 150 to 2,000 bp; cluster analysis showed that 39 cassava varieties (lines) were clustered into two categories by the similarity coefficient of 0.67; in addition, the genetic distance among cassava was very narrow, with genetic similarity coefficients ranging between 0.80 and 1.00. | 15 | MiR-520f-3p inhibits epithelial-mesenchymal transition of colorectal cancer cells by targeting Yes-associated protein 1显示文摘Background:Colorectal cancer(CRC)is one of the most common malignancies.Early diagnosis is the key to effective treatment of CRC.Since microRNAs(miRNAs)can be used as biomarkers of CRC,the objective of this work was to examine the effect of miR-520f-3p,which targets YAP1(Yes-associated protein 1),on the ability of CRC cells to proliferate,invade,migrate,and undergo epithelial-mesenchymal transition(EMT).Methods:A miR-520f-3p mimic was used to overexpress miR-520f-3p in HT29 cells.To establish the tumor-bearing mouse model,transfected HT29 cells were subcutaneously implanted into BALB/c-nu nude mice,and YAP1 and miR-520f-3p levels were determined using qRT‒PCR.The viability,invasion ability,and migration ability of cells were evaluated by CCK-8,Transwell,and wound healing assays.Apoptosis was detected by flow cytometry and TUNEL assays.The regulatory link between miR-520f-3p and the YAP1 gene was examined by dual-luciferase reporter assay.Tumor tissues with positive Ki-67 expression were identified by immunohistochemistry.Vimentin,E-cadherin,and YAP1 expression were evaluated by western blotting.Results:MiR-520f-3p overexpression could inhibit proliferation,invasion,migration,and EMT and induce apoptosis in HT29 cells.YAP1 was found as a target of miR-520f-3p.The inhibitory effects of miR-520f-3p on proliferation,invasion,migration,and EMT may be reversed by overexpressing YAP1.In tumor-bearing mice,miR-520f-3p overexpression reduced the Ki-67 level,increased apoptosis,and prevented tumor development and spread.Conclusion:By targeting YAP1,miR-520f-3p may be capable of suppressing CRC cell proliferation,invasion,migration,and EMT,providing a novel therapeutic target for the disease. | LIJUN JIANG WENMIN JI YAJIE GONG JIAJUN LI JINCHUN LIU | 2023 | BIOCELL2023,47,8: | 0 |
| 16 | Diamond synthesis from a system of chromium-carbide andNi_(70)Mn_(25)Co_5 alloy显示文摘In order to ascertain the mechanism of interaction between carbide and metallic catalyst and formation of diamond under high pressure and high temperature, and find a new method to synthesize diamond with special properties, it is necessary to investigate the reaction behavior of different carbides and metallic solvent_catalysts under high pressure and high temperature. A system of Cr-3C-2 powder and Ni 70Mn 25Co 5 alloy in weight ratio of 1∶6 was treated under 6 0 GPa and 1 500℃ for 20, 30 or 60 min respectively. X_ray diffraction of the samples indicated the Cr 3C 2 decomposed partially after high pressure and temperature treatment, and Cr 7C 3, Cr and diamond formed respectively. There was not any trace of graphite in the samples. The result suggested that the separated carbon atoms could form diamond directly without conversion process of graphite into diamond. The observation of SEI, WDX and EDX also showed that diamond crystals were synthesized in the system, which have perfect surfaces and shapes, with the average grain size of about 40 μm. | 17 | TMAHS:a truthful multi-unit double auction framework for heterogeneous spectrum in secondary market显示文摘Auction was widely used to tackle spectrum allocation and sharing in the secondary market under the condition of spectrum scarcity. In real communication system, such as broadband communication, the utilization of spectrum resource is various because of different requirements and complex application scenarios. So, these schemes cannot be directly applied to the above wireless communication system. To solve this problem, a new model where sellers/buyers can sell/buy multi-unit for heterogeneous spectrum was proposed and a truthful multi-unit double auction framework was designed for heterogeneous spectrum trading. A valuation function is first applied to represent the buyer's true valuation of the sub-band and reflect the buyer's satisfaction degree and a novel concept termed ‘virtual player' was introduced. Then the buyer group was constructed based on the conflict graph to reuse the same spectrum among interference-free buyers in both spatial and temporal domains. The winner determination strategy and algorithm of clearing price were designed elaborately. According to the theoretical analysis, the scheme can satisfy three critical economic properties: truthfulness, individual rationality, and budget balance. Finally, simulation results show that the proposed scheme can achieve better user satisfaction, auction efficiency and spectrum reuse rate for the real communication system. | 19 | Effects of electrode immersion depth and remelting rate on electroslag remelting process显示文摘In the electroslag remelting process, the electrode molten state is a critical factor determining the ingot quality, while the electrode immersion depth and melting rate are key factors for the stability of the electroslag re-melting process. Studies were carried out to investigate the microscopic and macroscopic effects of electrode immersion depth and melting rate on the potential distribution and heat density in the slag bath, and on the depth and shape of the molten bath. Based on the finite element method and the numerical solution method, the effect of the electrode immersion depth on the slag bath heat density was researched; the relationship between the electrode immersion depth and the slag resistance was obtained; and the unsteady-state model of the solidification process of the re-melting ingot was solved using the finite difference method. The mathematical model and physical model of the electrode melting process were established and solved; and the corresponding curves between the electrode molten-state and slag-bath physical parameters were obtained.
