| 1 | Antibiotics-mediated intestinal microbiome perturbation aggravates tacrolimus-induced glucose disorders in mice显示文摘Both immunosuppressants and antibiotics (ABX) are indispensable for transplant patients. However, the former increases the risk of new-onset diabetes, whereas the latter impacts intestinal microbiota (IM). It is still unclear whether and how the interaction between immunosuppressants and ABX alters the IM and thus leads to glucose metabolism disorders. This study examined the alterations of glucose and lipid metabolism and IM in mice exposed to tacrolimus (TAC) with or without ABX. We found that ABX further aggravated TAC-induced glucose tolerance and increased insulin secretion. Combined treatment resulted in exacerbated lipid accumulation in the liver. TAC-altered microbial community was further amplified by ABX administration, as characterized by reductions in phylum Firmicutes, family Lachnospiraceae, and genus Copyococcus. Analyses based on the metagenomic profiles revealed that ABX augmented the effect of TAC on microbial metabolic function mostly related to lipid metabolism. The altered components of gut microbiome and predicted microbial functional profiles showed significant correlation with hepatic lipid accumulation and glucose disorders. In conclusion, ABX aggravated the effect of TAC on the microbiome and its metabolic capacities, which might contribute to hepatic lipid accumulation and glucose disorders. | 3 | Comparison on Adsorptive Separation of n-Paraffins Based on Binderless and Binder-containing Zeolite 5A Pellets显示文摘Binderless zeolite is considered to be a potential alternative for binder-containing zeolite in the industrial applications of adsorptive separation process. Synthesized binderless zeolite and commercial binder-containing product were used in adsorptive separation of n-paraffins from a model oil, with their performance compared. It is indicated that the binderless zeolite exhibits by 25%-35% higher in saturated adsorption capacity and by 115%-130% more adsorption amount at the breakthrough point with much shorter length of mass-transfer zone. Adsorptive separation of n-paraffins from naphtha was carried out in a fixed-bed adsorber containing the synthesized binderless zeolite 5 A under the operating conditions covering a feed space velocity of 90 h-1 and an adsorption temperature of 573 K. | 7 | Diagnostic accuracy and safety of Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus extracts used for skin prick test显示文摘Background:Dermatophagoides pteronyssinus is a common allergen causing allergic diseases in China.The aim of this study was to evaluate the efficacy and safety of D.pteronyssinus extracts produced by Peking Union Medical College Hospital(PUMCH)for the skin prick test(SPT)in the diagnosis of D.pteronyssinus allergy.Methods:A total of 910 subjects with allergic diseases were prescribed D.pteronyssinus SPT and specific sIgE(sIgE)test among the Outpatients of Department of Allergy,PUMCH from August 10,2015 to August 30,2017.Receiver operating characteristic curve(ROC)analysis was performed according to the results of D.pteronyssinus-sIgE detection.The accuracy of D.pteronyssinus extracts used for SPT in the diagnosis of D.pteronyssinus allergy was evaluated under different cutoff values.Adverse events after SPT were recorded to evaluate safety.Results:There were 796 and 618 subjects in the full analysis set(FAS)and the per protocol set(PPS),respectively.The areas under the curve of FAS and PPS were 0.871 and 0.873,respectively.According to the ROC of PPS,the optimal and 95%specificity diagnostic cutoff values of D.pteronyssinus SPT mean wheal diameter were 3.25 and 3.75 mm,respectively.No adverse events occurred.Conclusion:The extracts of D.pteronyssinus for SPT were simple,highly accurate,and safe and should be considered for recommendation in the clinical diagnosis of D.pteronyssinus allergy. | Rui Tang Xiaohong Lyu Yuxi Liu Ruiqi Wang Lianglu Wang Hong Li Jinlyu Sun Yuxiang Zhi Jianqing Gu Kai Guan Liping Wen Zixi Wang Lisha Li Le Cui Yingyang Xu Junxiong Zhou Tao Xu Jia Yin | 2022 | Chinese Medical Journal2022,135,21: | 0 |
