1The synthesis of 6-(tert-butyl)-8-fluoro-2,3-dimethylquinoline carbonate derivatives and their antifungal activity against Pyricularia oryzae显示文摘A series of novel 6-(/er/-butyl)-8-fluoro-2,3- dimethylquinoline carbonate derivatives were designed and synthesized. Bioassay results showed that some of them exhibited good activity against Pyricularia oryzae (P. oryzae). It was found that the compound 5q (benzyl (6-(tert-butyl)-8-fluoro-2,3-dimethylquinolin-4-yl) carbonate) possessed good activity against P. oryzae whatever protective activity (10 mg·L^-1) or curative activity (25 mg·L^-1), which was better than that of control tebufloquin. 2Cerebral fractional amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations may predict headache intensity improvement following acupuncture treatment in migraine patients显示文摘OBJECTIVE:To explore how baseline resting-state cerebral function predicts clinical outcomes of acupuncture treatment for migraine.METHODS:One hundred migraine patients and 46 healthy subjects were recruited.Patients were randomized into the acupuncture,sham acupuncture,and waiting list groups.Resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging data were collected at baseline and after 1 month of longitudinal acupuncture treatments.Fractional amplitude of low-frequency fluctuations(f ALFF)calculations were applied to explore the associations between baseline f ALFF and changes in clinical variables in the acupuncture treatment group and the waiting list group.RESULTS:Compared with healthy subjects,migraine patients had lower f ALFF in the left rostral ventromedial medulla,right thalamus,left amygdala,and right angular gyrus.Regression analyses revealed that baseline f ALFF values in the left middle frontal gyrus,left superior temporal gyrus,and middle temporal gyrus were positively associated with headache intensity changes in the acupuncture treatment group,while baseline f ALFF values in the bilateral lingual gyrus and cuneus were negatively associated with headache intensity changes in this group.CONCLUSION:The baseline f ALFF values of brain regions associated with cognitive pain modulation,but not migraine severity,may predict future headache intensity improvement levels in migraine patients receiving acupuncture treatment.Li Zhengjie Zhou Jun Cheng Shirui Lan Lei Sun Ruirui Liu Mailan Yang Jie Gao Yujie Guo Taipin Gong Qiyong Zeng Fang Liang Fanrong 2020Journal of Traditional Chinese Medicine2020,40,6:5

4Particulate matter pollution in Kunshan High-Tech zone: Source apportionment with trace elements, plume evolution and its monitoring显示文摘Particulate matter(PM) in the Kunshan High-Tech zone is studied during a three-month campaign. PM and trace elements are measured by the online pollution monitoring, forecastwarning and source term retrieval system AS3. Hourly measured concentrations of PM_(10), PM_(2.5) and 16 trace elements in the PM_(2.5) section(Ca, Pb, Cu, Cl, V, Cr, Fe, Ti, Mn, Ni, Zn, Ga, As, Se, Sr, Ba)are focused. Source apportionment of trace elements by Positive Matrix Factorization modeling indicates that there are five major sources, including dust, industrial processing, traffic,combustion, and sea salt with contribution rate of 23.68%, 21.66%, 14.30%, 22.03%, and 6.89%,respectively. Prediction of plume dispersion from concrete plant and traffic emissions shows that PM_(10) pollution of concrete plant is three orders of magnitude more than that of the traffic. The influence range can extend to more than 3 km in 1 hr. Because the footprint of the industrial plumes is constantly moving according to the local meteorological conditions, the fixed monitoring sites scattered in a few hundred meters haven't captured the heaviest pollution plume at the local scale of a few km^2. As a more intensive monitoring network is not operationally possible, the use of online modeling gives accurate and quantitative information of plume location, which increases the spatial pollution monitoring capacity and improves the understanding of measurement data. 11Arbitrary manipulations of focused higher-order Poincare beams by a Fresnel zone metasurface with alternate binary geometric and propagation phases显示文摘The manipulation of high-quality vector beams(VBs)with metasurfaces is an important topic and has potential for classical and quantum applications.In this paper,we propose a Fresnel zone(FZ)metasurface with metallic nanoslits arranged on FZs,which sets alternate binary geometric and propagation phases to cancel the incident spin component and focus the converted spin component(CSC).The rotation designs of nanoslits transform the incident polarization state on the conventional Poincare sphere to VBs on the higher-order Poincare(HOP)sphere.The two orbital angular momentum states of the CSCs were manipulated,and the focused HOP beams were generated.The experimental results demonstrate the broadband generation of arbitrarily focused HOP beams of high quality under the illumination of the red(632.8 nm),green(532 nm),and blue(473 nm)light.This work will be of significance for the applications of VBs in different areas,such as precision metrology,optical micromanipulation,and quantum information.XIANGYU ZENG YUQIN ZHANG MANNA GU ZIJUN ZHAN RUIRUI ZHANG YU ZHANG RUI SUN CHANGWEI HE CHUNXIANG LIU CHUANFU CHENG 2022Photonics Research2022,10,4:0

13Efficacy Differences of First-line EGFR-TKIs Alone vs in Combination with Chemotherapy in Advanced Lung Adenocarcinoma Patients with Sensitive EGFR Mutation and Concomitant Non-EGFR Genetic Alterations显示文摘Background and objective:Epidermal growth factor receptor(EGFR)mutations are often associated with non-EGFR genetic alterations,which maybe a reason for the poor efficacy of EGFR tyrosine kinase inhibitors(TKIs).Here we conducted this study to explore whether EGFR-TKIs combined with chemotherapy would benefit advanced lung adenocarcinoma patients with both sensitive EGFR mutation and concomitant non-EGFR genetic alterations.Materials and methods:Cases of advanced lung adenocarcinoma with EGFR mutation combined with concomitant nonEGFR genetic alterations were retrospectively collected.And the patients were required to receive first-line EGFR-TKIs and chemotherapy combination or EGFR-TKIs monotherapy.Demographic,clinical and pathological data were collected,and the electronic imaging data were retrieved to evaluate the efficacy and time of disease progression.Survival data were obtained through face-to-face or telephone follow-up.The differences between the two groups in objective response rate(ORR),disease control rate(DCR),progression-free survival(PFS)and overall survival(OS)were investigated.Results:107 patients were included,including 63 cases in the combination group and 44 cases in the monotherapy group.The ORR were 78%and 50%(P=0.003),and DCR were 97%and 77%(P=0.002),respectively.At a median follow-up of 13.7 mon,a PFS event occurred in 38.1%and 81.8%of patients in the two groups,with median PFS of18.8 mon and 5.3 mon,respectively(P<0.000,1).Median OS was unreached in the combination group,and 27.8 mon in the monotherapy group(P=0.31).According to the Cox multivariate regression analysis,combination therapy was an independent prognostic factor of PFS.Conclusion:In patients with EGFR-mutant advanced lung adenocarcinoma with concomitant non-EGFR genetic alterations,combination of TKIs and chemotherapy was significantly superior to EGFR-TKIs monotherapy,which should be the preferred treatment option.Guowei ZHANG Ruirui CHENG Yuanyuan NIU Huijuan WANG Xiangtao YAN Mina ZHANG Xiaojuan ZHANG Jinpo YANG Chunhua WEI Zhiyong MA 2022中国肺癌杂志2022,25,9:0
