| 1 | Internet of Things to network smart devices for ecosystem monitoring显示文摘Smart, real-time, low-cost, and distributed ecosystem monitoring is essential for understanding and managing rapidly changing ecosystems. However, new techniques in the big data era have rarely been introduced into operational ecosystem monitoring, particularly for fragile ecosystems in remote areas.We introduce the Internet of Things(IoT) techniques to establish a prototype ecosystem monitoring system by developing innovative smart devices and using IoT technologies for ecosystem monitoring in isolated environments. The developed smart devices include four categories: large-scale and nonintrusive instruments to measure evapotranspiration and soil moisture, in situ observing systems for CO2 and d13 C associated with soil respiration, portable and distributed devices for monitoring vegetation variables, and Bi-CMOS cameras and pressure trigger sensors for terrestrial vertebrate monitoring. These new devices outperform conventional devices and are connected to each other via wireless communication networks. The breakthroughs in the ecosystem monitoring IoT include new data loggers and longdistance wireless sensor network technology that supports the rapid transmission of data from devices to wireless networks. The applicability of this ecosystem monitoring IoT is verified in three fragile ecosystems, including a karst rocky desertification area, the National Park for Amur Tigers, and the oasis-desert ecotone in China. By integrating these devices and technologies with an ecosystem monitoring information system, a seamless data acquisition, transmission, processing, and application IoT is created. | 2 | The synthesis of 6-(tert-butyl)-8-fluoro-2,3-dimethylquinoline carbonate derivatives and their antifungal activity against Pyricularia oryzae显示文摘A series of novel 6-(/er/-butyl)-8-fluoro-2,3- dimethylquinoline carbonate derivatives were designed and synthesized. Bioassay results showed that some of them exhibited good activity against Pyricularia oryzae (P. oryzae). It was found that the compound 5q (benzyl (6-(tert-butyl)-8-fluoro-2,3-dimethylquinolin-4-yl) carbonate) possessed good activity against P. oryzae whatever protective activity (10 mg·L^-1) or curative activity (25 mg·L^-1), which was better than that of control tebufloquin. | 5 | Simultaneous determination of Repaglinide and Irbesartan in biological plasmas using micellar enhanced excitation-emission matrix fluorescence coupled with ATLD method显示文摘A highly sensitive and selective 3D excitation-emission fluorescence method has been proposed to rapidly quantify the combined antidiabetics Repaglinide(Re) and Irbesartan(Ir) in rat and human plasmas with the aid of second-order calibration method based on alternating trilinear decomposition(ATLD) method. Re and Ir with weak fluorescence can be endowed with strong fluorescent property by changing the microenvironment in samples and improving the fluorescence quantum yield by using an appropriate micellar enhanced surfactant. The enhanced excitation-emission matrix fluorescence of Re and Ir can be accurately resolved and can simultaneously attain the optimal concentration even in the presence of a potentially strong intrinsic fluorescence from complex biological matrices, such as rat and human plasmas, by using the ATLD method, which completely exploits the 'second-order advantage'. The average recoveries of Re and Ir obtained from ATLD with the factor number of 3(N=3) were 101.0%±4.3% and 99.1%±4.1% for rat plasma and 100.5%±5.4% and 97.1%±3.6% for human plasma. Several statistical methods, including Student's t-test, figures of merit, and elliptical joint confidence region, have been utilized to evaluate the accuracy of the proposed method. | 6 | Optimization of process parameters for preparation of powdered activated coke to achieve maximum SO_(2)adsorption using response surface methodology显示文摘Powdered activated coke(PAC)is a good adsorbent of SO_(2),but its adsorption capacity is affected by many factors in the preparation process.To prepare the PAC with a high SO_(2)adsorption capacity using JJ-coal under flue gas atmosphere,six parameters(oxygen-coal equivalent ratio,reaction temperature,reaction time,O_(2)concentration,CO_(2)concentration,and H_(2)O concentration)were screened and optimized using the response surface methodology(RSM).The results of factor screening experiment show that reaction temperature,O_(2)concentration,and H_(2)O(g)concentration are the significant factors.Then,a quadratic polynomial regression model between the significant factors and SO_(2)adsorption capacity was established using the central composite design(CCD).The model optimization results indicate that when reaction temperature is 904.74℃,O_(2)concentration is 4.67%,H_(2)O concentration is 27.98%,the PAC(PAC-OP)prepared had a higher SO_(2)adsorption capacity of 68.15 mg/g while its SO_(2)adsorption capacity from a validation experiment is 68.82 mg/g,and the error with the optimal value is 0.98%.Compared to two typical commercial activated cokes(ACs),PAC-OP has relatively more developed pore structures,and its SBET and Vtot are 349 m^(2)/g and 0.1475 cm3/g,significantly higher than the 186 m^(2)/g and 0.1041 cm3/g of AC1,and the 132 m^(2)/g and 0.0768 cm3/g of AC2.Besides,it also has abundant oxygen-containing functional groups,its surface O content being 12.09%,higher than the 10.42%of AC1 and 10.49%of AC2.Inevitably,the SO_(2)adsorption capacity of PAC-OP is also significantly higher than that of both AC1 and AC2,which is 68.82 mg/g versus 32.53 mg/g and 24.79 mg/g,respectively. | Binxuan ZHOU Tao WANG Tianming XU Cheng LI Yuan ZHAO Jiapeng FU Zhen ZHANG Zhanlong SONG Chunyuan MA | 2021 | Frontiers in Energy2021,15,1: | 0 |
| 7 | Amorphous hollow carbon film as a flexible host for liquid Na-K alloy anode显示文摘Compared with solid alkali metal anodes(Li, Na, K), liquid metal anodes(LMAs) could enable high-energy batteries due to their unique advantages, such as self-healing property and no dendrites. Among LMAs,liquid Na-K alloy anode has become a hotspot due to its high theoretical capacity, low redox potential and formation at room temperature(RT). However, it is challenging to utilize liquid Na-K alloy directly and independently as an electrode;and the high surface tension makes it more difficult to immerse into porous current collectors at RT. Herein, an amorphous hollow carbon film(AHCF) consisting of hollow spheres with significant surface defects has been designed to quickly infiltrate Na-K liquid alloy into the hollow carbon film at RT, forming a composite electrode(Na-K@AHCF). The symmetric cell with Na-K@AHCF could exhibit a cycle lifespan up to 400 h at 0.1 m A/cm^(2) and achieve stable stripping/deposition even at 5 mA/cm^(2). | 8 | Upregulation of Zip14 correlates with induction of endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS)in hypertrophied hearts of Dahl saltsensitive rats显示文摘Zinc is a trace element involved in maintaining cellular structure and function.Although zinc is associated with left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH),there have been few reports on this association.This study aimed to evaluate the correlation between Zip14 and expression of endoplasmic reticulum stress(ERS)associated molecules in hypertrophied hearts of rats.Dahl salt-sensitive rats were fed a high salt diet to establish a left ventricular hypertrophy(LVH)rat model.RT-PCR was used to determine Zip14,activating transcription factor(ATF4),ATF6,x-box-binding protein 1(xBP1),C/EBP homologous protein(CHOP),immunoglobulin-binding protein(BiP)mRNA expression.Western blotting was used to evaluate Zip14,BiP,CHOP,GAPDH expression.Zinc levels were measured by Inductively Coupled Plasma Optical Emission Spectroscopy.The results indicated that compared with the Control group,Zip14 mRNA and protein expression in LVH rat hearts were markedly increased(P<0.01).Zinc content in rat heart tissue was significantly increased in the LVH group compared with the Control group(P<0.05).ATF4,ATF6,xBP1 mRNA expressions were increased in LVH rat hearts compared with Control hearts(P<0.001).Compared with the Control group,CHOP and BiP mRNA and protein expression were markedly increased in LVH rat hearts(P<0.05,P<0.01).Linear regression models showed that Zip14 mRNA expressions were positively correlated with zinc concentration,ATF4 and ATF6 mRNA expressions in Control hearts(P=0.0005,P=0.0052,P=0.0026,respectively)and LVH rat hearts(P<0.0001,P=0.0119,P=0.0033,respectively).In conclusion,upregulation of Zip14 in LVH rat hearts correlated with zinc accumulation and induction of ERS. | JINYONG HUANG TIANMING TENG BO BIAN YUCHEN XUE LONGFEI HUANG ZHELONG XU QING YANG YUEMIN SUN | 2022 | BIOCELL2022,46,3: | 0 |

| 11 | Anti-Interference Low-Power Double-Edge Triggered Flip-Flop Based on C-Elements显示文摘When the input signal has been interfered and glitches occur,the power consumption of Double-Edge Triggered Flip-Flops(DETFFs)will significantly increase.To effectively reduce the power consumption,this paper presents an anti-interference low-power DETFF based on C-elements.The improved C-element is used in this DETFF,which effectively blocks the glitches in the input signal,prevents redundant transitions inside the DETFF,and reduces the charge and discharge frequencies of the transistor.The C-element has also added pull-up and pull-down paths,reducing its latency.Compared with other existing DETFFs,the DETFF proposed in this paper only flips once on the clock edge,which greatly reduces the redundant transitions caused by glitches and effectively reduces power consumption.This paper uses HSPICE to simulate the proposed DETFF and other 10 DETFFs.The findings show that compared with the other 10 types of DETFFs,the proposed DETFF has achieved large performance indexes in the total power consumption,total power consumption with glitches,delays,and power delay product.A detailed analysis of variance indicates that the proposed DETFF features less sensitivity to process,voltage,temperature,and Negative Bias Temperature Instability(NBTI)-induced aging variations. | Zhengfeng Huang Xiao Yang Tai Song Haochen Qi Yiming Ouyang Tianming Ni Qi Xu | 2022 | Tsinghua Science and Technology2022,27,1: | 0 |
| 12 | A novel ferroptosis-related microRNA signature with prognostic value in osteosarcoma显示文摘The induction of ferroptosis is suggested to be a potential therapeutic strategy for cancers.MicroRNAs(miRNAs)are reported to play an important role in cell death processes.This study aims to construct and validate a risk model based on ferroptosis-related miRNAs(FR_miRNAs)to predict prognosis and identify novel therapeutic targets for osteosarcoma.Data from the Therapeutically Applicable Research to Generate Effective Treatments database are used as the training cohort.A prognostic signature based on two FR_miRNAs(miR-635 and miR-593)is developed using univariate Cox regression,least absolute shrinkage and selection operator regression,and multivariate Cox regression analyses.The area under the curve values of the prognostic signature to predict the 1-year,2-year,3-year,and 5-year overall survival rates in patients with osteosarcoma are 0.782,0.781,0.722,and 0.777,respectively,indicating a good predictive ability.Based on the risk score,patients are divided into low-risk and high-risk groups.Patients with high-risk scores are associated with poor survival.The risk level is determined to be an independent prognostic factor.A nomogram is established for predicting prognosis.The expression levels of PRNP(miR-635-related ferroptosis-related gene(FRG);P=0.024)and HILPDA(miR-593-related FRG;P=0.025)are significantly different between the low-risk and high-risk groups.All results are validated in an external cohort(GSE39040).The results of the functional assay reveal that miR-635 mimics inhibit osteosarcoma(OS)cell proliferation and migra-tion,whereas miR-593 overexpression exerts the opposite effect.In conclusion,miR-635 and miR-593 exert con-trasting regulatory effects on OS cell proliferation and migration. | Jie Shao Yi Zhang Zhu Chang Shiyao Du Wei Li Yushu Bai Chunwen Lu Tianming Xu | 2023 | Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2023,55,11: | 0 |
| 13 | Study on direct point spread function measurement of capillary plate collimators with divergent X-ray beams显示文摘Purpose The Filed of View(FOV)of eXTP/LAD is limited by lead-glass capillary plate collimators placed in front of the Silicon Drift Detectors(SDDs)for reducing the background contamination caused by the photons of Cosmic X-ray Background(CXB)leaking from outside the FOV.The core quality parameters of lead-glass capillary plate collimators are Open Area Ratio(OAR)and FOV.The performance of lead-glass capillary plate collimators is determined by its design specification such as pore-to-pore misalignment,pore perpendicularity with collimator surface and pore diameter.Since the design specification is the result of a large number of micropores,we use the full width at half maximum(FWHM)and peak value of point spread function(PSF)to characterize the capillary plate collimator performance.In order to quickly evaluate the performances of collimators,we developed a direct PSF measurement method using divergent beams.Methods In this paper,the simulation package of the divergent beamsmeasurement setup is developed based on Geant4.The simulation parameters of scintillator absorption length are corrected by experimental data.We simulate the PSF of collimators with different distribution of pore diameter and misalignment by parallel beams and divergent beams.By comparing the peak value and FWHM of collimators PSF,the feasibility in replacing parallel beams measurement with divergent beams measurement is studied.Results It is verified that the influence of the geometric size of 33μm radius of the micro-focus of X-ray tube can be ignored.The results show that the FWHM of collimators is increased with error root mean square error(RMS)of the distribution of collimators pore diameter and pore inclination angle.The peak value of PSF is mainly influenced by pore non-parallelism of the pores,and it decreases with an increase in pore inclination angle.Comparison of parallel beams PSF and divergent beams PSF shows well consistency of peak value and FWHM of collimator.But,the peak value of the divergent beams PSF is mainly affected by the defects of the pores close to the optical axis and result in difference from the parallel beams results consequently.We have developed capillary plate collimators response function based on the projected area function of a cylindrical pore and the fluorescence broadening of the scintillator and fitted PSF by response function.The capillary plate collimator open area ratio is calculated by using the micropores radius and collimator frame thickness obtained by fitting parameter,and the result is close to the parallel beams PSF.Conclusion The feasibility divergent beams measurement is verified. | Tianming Li Tao Luo Yupeng Xu Huilin He Liming Song | 2023 | Radiation Detection Technology and Methods2023,7,3: | 0 |
