1Prediction of permafrost changes in Northeastern China under a changing climate显示文摘Northeastern China has the second largest expanse of permafrost in China,primarily known as Xing'an-Baikal permafrost.Located on the southeastern edges of the Eurasian cryolithozone,the permafrost is thermally unstable and ecologically sensitive to external changes.The combined impacts of climatic,environmental,and anthropogenic changes cause 3-dimensional degradation of the permafrost.To predict these changes on the southern limit and ground temperature of permafrost in Northeastern China,an equivalent latitude model (ELM) for the mean annual ground surface temperature (MAGSTs) was proposed,and further improved to take into account of the influences of vegetation and snow-cover based on observational data and using the SHAW model.Using the finite element method and assuming a climate warming rate of 0.048°C a-1,the ELM was combined with the unsteady-state heat conduction model to simulate permafrost temperatures at present,and to predict those after 50 and 100 a.The results indicate that at present,sporadic permafrost occurs in the zones with MAGSTs of 1.5°C or colder,and there would still be a significant presence of permafrost in the zones with the present MAGSTs of 0.5°C or colder after 50 a,and in those of-0.5°C or colder after 100 a.Furthermore,the total areal extent of permafrost would decrease from 2.57×105 km2 at present to 1.84×105 km2 after 50 a and to 1.29×105 km2 after 100 a,i.e.,a reduction of 28.4% and 49.8% in the permafrost area,respectively.Also the permafrost would degrade more substantially in the east than in the west.Regional warming and thinning of permafrost would also occur.The area of stable permafrost (mean annual ground temperature,or MAGT≤-1.0°C) would decrease from present 1.07×105 to 8.8×104 km2 after 50 a,and further decrease to 5.6×104 km2 after 100 a.As a result,the unstable permafrost and seasonally frozen ground would expand,and the southern limit of permafrost would shift significantly northwards.The changes in the permafrost environment may adversely affect on ecological environments and engineering infrastructures in cold regions.Avoidance of unnecessary anthropogenic changes in permafrost conditions is a practical approach to protect the permafrost environment.WEI Zhi JIN HuiJun ZHANG JianMing YU ShaoPeng HAN XuJun JI YanJun HE RuiXia CHANG XiaoLi 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,6:15

3High-performance asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on Sb/WSe2 heterostructure显示文摘Two-dimensional (2D) van der Waals (vdWs) metal-semiconductor heterostructures with atomically sharp interface and matched work functions have recently attracted great attention due to their unique electronic and optoelectronic properties. Here we report the vapor phase epitaxial growth of large-scale vertical Sb/WSe2 metal-semiconductor vdWs heterostructures with uniform stacking orientation. Compared with the growth on S1O2/S1 substrate, the thick ness of Sb nan osheet on WSe2 can be reduced effectively to mono layer. We con struct Sb-WSe2-Au asymmetric electrodes photodiode based on the Sb/WSe2 heterostructures. Electrical transport measurements indicate that the photodiode show obvious rectifying effect. Optoelectronic characterizations show prominent photoresponse with a high photoresposivity of 364 mA/W, a fast response time of less than 8 ms, a large open-circuit voltage of 0.27 V and a maximum electrical power output of 0.11 nW. 4Anomalously low ozone of 1997 and 2011 Arctic spring: Monitoring results and analysis显示文摘Total ozone observations from the Total Ozone Unit (TOU) aboard the Chinese second generation polar orbiting mete- orological satellite, Fengyun-3/A (FY-3/A), revealed that total column ozone over the Arctic declined rapidly from the beginning of March 2011. An extensive region of low column amount formed around mid March; monthly mean total column ozone in March 2011 was about 30% lower than the average observed during 1979-2010. Daily total column density of ozone near the center of low ozone area in mid March was less than 240 Dobson units, about half the total column ozone amount observed during the same period of the prior 10 years. We analyzed total column ozone data from different satellites during 1979-2011. Results show that the Arctic depletion of ozone in spring 2011 was initiated by the cold polar vortex in the lower stratosphere. The March mean total ozone over the Arctic has shown a decreasing trend over the past 32 years, and its variation is strongly correlated with the polar vortex. 5Decadal variations in the season advancement of spring water cycle over Eastern China显示文摘Spring is the critical period for atmospheric circulation transition from winter to summer.The spring water cycle is very im-portant to agriculture in planting crop and the initial growth of crop.Note that there was a significant abrupt decadal change in the water budget increase during early spring over eastern China in the late 1970s.Studied here are the decadal variations of water budgets over the key regions and the associated change of water cycle over East Asia and atmospheric circulation over Asia-West Pacific region in early spring,using the observed(OBS) precipitation,the ECMWF(ERA) and NCEP/NCAR rea-nalysis(NRA),and the Mantua's Pacific decadal oscillation index(PDOI).The water budget increments from March to April exhibited a sharp decrease over the key region around Huaihe River basin(HHR)(111°-120°E;31°-36°N) after year 1978.Before 1977 the water vapor flux through south boundary of the HHR region increased greatly during March to April by 1.52 mm d 1 in ERA and 1.88 mm d 1 in NRA.Concurrently the moisture convergence and precipitation over the region also in-creased greatly.The increment for the moisture convergence was 1.11 mm d 1 in ERA and 1.22 mm d 1 in NRA,and for the precipitation was 1.08 mm d 1 in observation and 1.05 mm d 1 in ERA.April was the time that the water budgets over HHR increased most rapidly before 1977.But after 1978 the water budgets decreased conversely from Mach to April.The water vapor flux increment through the south boundary was 0.03 mm d 1 in ERA and 0.01 mm d 1 in NRA,the moisture conver-gence increment was 0.91 mm d 1 in ERA and 0.53 mm d 1 in NRA,and precipitation increment was 0.08 mm d 1 in ob-servation and 0.15 mm d 1 in ERA.Further investigation has shown that the large-scale atmospheric circulation in the early spring has correspondingly changed significantly after the late 1970s.During March to April,the weakening of the trough over East Asia became significantly slower,and the strengthening of the ridge over the west China became significantly faster in the middle troposphere after the late 1970s.At the same time,in the lower troposphere,the strengthening and northward extending of the west part of the subtropical high and the weakening of the trough over the southwest part of the Aleutian low in the early spring became slower,and the weakening of the main part of Asian high became slower,but the strengthening of its west part became faster.This significant decadal change of circulation caused a sharp decrease in the northward extending speed of wa-ter vapor transport,and in the water budgets increasing speed over the southeastern China during early spring after the late 1970s.ZHAO RuiXia ZHANG Hong WU GuoXiong LI WeiPing SHI AiLi 2012Science China Earth Sciences2012,55,8:4
6Downregulation of long non-coding RNA MEG3 promotes proliferation, migration, and invasion of human hepatocellular carcinoma cells by upregulating TGF-β1显示文摘Hepatocellular carci no ma is a common malig nant can cer with high incide nee. And long noncoding RNAs (lncRNAs) play pivotal roles in the development of different types of cancers. In this study, we aimed to investigate the role of lncRNA maternally expressed gene 3 (MEG3) in the development and progression of hepatocellular carcinoma. Expression of MEG3 in tumor tissues and adjacent healthy tissues of hepatocellular carcinoma patients, as well as the serum of both hepatocellular carcinoma patients and healthy controls, was detected by quantitative reverse transcriptase-polymerase chain reaction. The results showed that expression level of MEG3 was significantly lower in tumor tissues than in adjacent healthy tissues. Serum level of MEG3 was also significantly lower in hepatocellular carci noma patients tha n in normal controls. The receiver operating characteristic curve analysis was used to evaluate the diagnostic value of MEG3 for hepatocellular carcinoma, and the prognostic value of MEG3 for this disease was analyzed using Kaplan-Meier method. The results indicated that serum level of MEG3 was a diagnostic and prognostic marker for hepatocellular carcinoma. We also found that MEG3 small interfering Ribonucleic Acid (siRNA) silencing promoted the proliferation, migration, and invasi on of hepatocellular carci noma cells by CCK-8 assay, transwell migration, and invasion assay, respectively, while TGF-β inhibitor treatment reduced those enhancing effects. MEG3 siRNA silencing also increased the expression level of TGF-β1. 7Effects of L-3-n-butylphthalide on caspase-3 and nuclear factor kappa-B expression in primary basal forebrain and hippocampal cultures after beta-amyloid peptide 1-42 treatment显示文摘BACKGROUND:L-3-n-butylphthalide(L-NBP) can inhibit phosphorylation of tau protein and reduce the neurotoxicity of beta-amyloid peptide 1-42(Aβ_(1-42)). OBJECTIVE:To observe the neuroprotective effects of L-NBP on caspase-3 and nuclear factor kappa-B(NF-κB) expression in a rat model of Alzheimer's disease. DESIGN,TIME AND SETTING:A cell experiment was performed at the Central Laboratory of Provincial Hospital affiliated to Shandong University between January 2008 and August 2008. MATERIALS:L-NBP(purity>98%) was provided by Shijiazhuang Pharma Group NBP Pharmaceutical Company Limited.Aβ_(1-42),3-[4,5-dimethylthiazolo-2]-2,5 iphenyltetrazolium bromide(MTT),and rabbit anti-Caspase-3 polyclonal antibody were provided by Cell Signaling, USA;goat anti-choactase and rabbit anti-NF-κB antibodies were provided by Santa Cruz,USA. METHODS:Primary cultures were generated from rat basal forebrain and hippocampal neurons at 17 or 19 days of gestation.The cells were assigned into five groups:the control group,the Aβ_(1-42) group(2μmol/ L),the Aβ_(1-42) + 0.1μmol/L L-NBP group,the Aβ_(1-42)+ 1μmol/L L-NBP group,and the Aβ_(1-42)+ 10μmol/L L-NBP group.The neurons were treated with Aβ_(1-42)(2μmol/L) alone or in combination with L-NBP(0.1,1,10μmol/L) for 48 hours.Cells in the control group were incubated in PBS. MAIN OUTCOME MEASURES:Morphologic changes were evaluated using inverted microscopy, viability using the MTT method,and the changes in caspase-3 and NF-κB expression using Western blot. RESULTS:Induction with Aβ_(1-42) for 48 hours caused cell death and soma atrophy,and increased caspase-3 and NF-κB expression(P<0.05).L-NBP blocked these changes in cell morphology, decreased caspase-3 and NF-κB expression(P<0.05),and improved cell viability,especially at the high dose(P<0.05). 8A DFT theoretical study of CH_4 dissociation on gold-alloyed Ni(111)surface显示文摘A density-functional theory(DFT)method has been conducted to systematically investigate the adsorption of CHx(x=0~4)as well as the dissociation of CHx(x=1~4)on(111)facets of gold-alloyed Ni surface.The results have been compared with those obtained on pure Ni(111)surface.It shows that the adsorption energies of CHx(x=1~3)are lower,and the reaction barriers of CH4 dissociation are higher in the first and the fourth steps on gold-alloyed Ni(111)compared with those on pure Ni(111).In particular,the rate-determining step for CH4 dissociation is considered as the first step of dehydrogenation on gold-alloyed Ni(111),while it is the fourth step of dehydrogenation on pure Ni(111).Furthermore,the activation barrier in rate-determining step is higher by 0.41 eV on gold-alloyed Ni(111)than that on pure Ni(111).From above results,it can be concluded that carbon is not easy to form on gold-alloyed Ni(111)compared with that on pure Ni(111).Hongyan Liu Ruixia Yan Riguang Zhang Baojun Wang Kechang Xie 2011Journal of Natural Gas Chemistry2011,20,6:2

12Direct van der Waals epitaxial growth of 1D/2D Sb2Se3/WS2 mixed-dimensional p-n heterojunctions显示文摘The mixed-dimensional integration of two-dimensional (2D) materials with non-2D materials can give rise to prominent advances in performance or function.To date,the mixed-dimensional one-dimensional (1D)/2D heterostructures have been fabricated using various physical assembly approaches.However,direct epitaxial growth method which has notable advantages in preparing large-scale products and obtaining perfect interfaces is rarely investigated.Herein,we demonstrate for the first time the direct synthesis of the 1D/2D mixed-dimensional heterostructures by sequential vapor-phase growth of Sb2Se3 nanowires on WS2 monolayers.X-ray diffraction (XRD) pattern and Raman spectrum confirm the composition of the Sb2Se3/NS2 heterostructures.Transmission electron microscope (TEM) measurement demonstrates high quality of the heterostructures.Electrical transport characterization reveals that Sb2Se3 nanowire exhibits p-type characteristic and that WS2 monolayer exhibits n-type behavior,and that the p-n diode from 1D/2D mixed-dimensional Sb2Se3/WS2 heterostructure possesses obvious current rectification behavior.Optoelectronic measurements of the heterostructures show apparent photovoltaic response with an open-circuit voltage of 0.19 V,photoresponsivity of 1.51 A/W (Vds =5 V) and fast response time of less than 8 ms.The van der Waals epitaxial growth mode of Sb2Se3 nanowires on WS2 monolayers is verified by stripping the Sb2Se3 nanowire from the heterostructures using tape.Together,the direct van der Waals epitaxy opens a facile pathway to 1D/2D mixed-dimensional heterostructures for functional electronic and optoelectronic devices.Guangzhuang Sun Bo Li Jia Li Zhengwei Zhang Huifang Ma Peng Chen Bei Zhao Ruixia Wu Weiqi Dang Xiangdong Yang Xuwan Tang Chen Dai Ziwei Huang Yuan Liu Xidong Duan Xiangfeng Duan 2019Nano Research2019,12,5:2
13The development from hyperuricemia to gout:key mechanisms and natural products for treatment显示文摘Gout is a common of inflammatory arthritis and is caused by the deposition of monosodium urate(MSU)crystals as a result of hyperuricemia(HUA).Although HUA is considered to be the main risk factor for gout,only approximately 10%of the individuals with HUA will eventually experience a gout attack.In this review,we first briefly introduce the development of gout and then summarize several possible reasons for its development.Genetic factors play a more prominent role in gout than in other diseases;functional mutations related to urate control and innate immunity components have been found to be associated with gout.Here,we list some of the most prominent genes involved in the pathogenesis of gout.In joints with MSU deposition,mature macrophages may uptake MSU crystals without causing inflammation,and this helps to maintain joints in an asymptomatic state.As an auxiliary inflammation pathway,the ATP-P2X7R-NLRP3 axis may contribute to the amplification of MSU-induced inflammation to affect the development of gout.Finally,this review summarizes the research progress on natural products that can be used in the treatment of HUA and gout.Lin Liu Dan Wang Mengyang Liu Haiyang Yu Qian Chen Yuzheng Wu Ruixia Bao Yi Zhang Tao Wang 2022Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine2022,2,1:2
14Stability,acidity and interaction properties of [Bmim][SbF_6] coupled with concentrated sulfuric acid显示文摘Ionic liquid coupled with strong acid systems presents considerable promise in some catalytic fields.In the present work,the multiple complex systems composed by 98 wt%concentrated sulfuric acid and[Bmim][SbF_6]were investigated in the terms of stability,acidity and interaction properties.It was found that acidolysis of[Bmim][SbF_6]occurred in the 98 wt%concentrated sulfuric acid accompanied by HF releasing and SbF_6~ degrading to[SbF_(6-y)XHSO_4]_y]^-.The species after acidolysis in the multiple complex systems were checked and confirmed by electrospray ionization mass spectrometry(ESI-MS),Fourier transform infrared spectroscopy(FT-IR),~1H NMR and ^(19)F NMR.Acidity increased slightly with less than 1 wt%[Bmim][SbF_6]addition,while decreased with more proportion,which was determined based on the Hammett acidity functions H_0,using ^(13)C NMR.The strong hydrogen bond S-O-H…F of interaction among the multiple complex systems was confirmed by molecular dynamic simulation.Honghua Zhang Ruixia Liu Ruirui Zhang Feng Huo Zhiqiang Yang Bin He Suojiang Zhang Yanji Wang 2017Science China Chemistry2017,60,9:2
15Effects of organic strength on performance of microbial electrolysis cell fed with hydrothermal liquefied wastewater显示文摘Microbial electrochemical technology has drawn increasing attention for the treatment of recalcitrant wastewater as well as production of energy or value-added chemicals recently.However,the study on the treatment of hydrothermal liquefied wastewater(HTL-WW)using microbial electrolysis cell(MEC)is still in its infancy.This study focused on the effects of organic loading rates(OLRs)on the treatment efficiency of recalcitrant HTL-WW and hydrogen production via the MEC.In general,the chemical oxygen demand(COD)removal rate was more than 71.74%at different initial OLRs.Specially,up to 83.84%of COD removal rate was achieved and the volatile fatty acids were almost degraded at the initial OLR of 2 g COD/L·d in the anode of MEC.The maximum hydrogen production rate was 3.92 mL/L·d in MEC cathode,corresponding to a hydrogen content of 7.10%at the initial OLR of 2 g COD/L·d.And in the anode,the maximum methane production rate of 826.87 mL/L·d was reached with its content of 54.75%at the initial OLR of 10 g COD/L·d.Analysis of electrochemical properties showed that the highest open circuit voltage of 0.48 V was obtained at the initial OLR of 10 g COD/L·d,and the maximum power density(1546.22 mW/m3)as well as the maximum coulombic efficiency(6.01%)were obtained at the initial OLR of 8 g COD/L·d.GC-MS analysis revealed the existence of phenols and heterocyclic matters in the HTL-WW,such as 1-acetoxynonadecane and 2,4-bis(1-phenylethyl)-phenol.These recalcitrant compounds in HTL-WW were efficiently removed via MEC,which was probably due to the combination effect of microbial community and electrochemistry in MEC anode.Shen Ruixia Lu Jianwen Zhu Zhangbing Duan Na Lu Haifeng Yuanhui Zhang Liu Zhidan 2017International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2017,10,3:2
16Comparative catalytic study on butene/isobutane alkylation over LaX and CeX zeolites: The influence of calcination atmosphere显示文摘Lanthanum-containing(LaX)and cerium-containing X zeolites(CeX)were prepared by a doubleexchange,double-calcination method.By changing the calcination atmospheres between nitrogen and air,the Ce^(IV) contents in CeX zeolites were adjusted and their impacts on physicochemical properties and catalytic performance in isobutane alkylation were established.The crystallinity of CeX zeolite was found to be negatively correlated with the Ce^(IV) content.This i s believed to be due to the water formed during the oxidation of Ce^(III),which facilitates the framework dealumination.As a consequence,calcining in air resulted in a great elimination of strong Brønsted acid sites while under nitrogen protection,this phenomenon was mostly hindered and the sample’s acidity was preserved.When tested in a continuously flowed slurry reactor,the catalyst lifetime for isobutane alkylation was found to be linearly related to the strong Brønsted acid concentration.In addition,Ce^(3+)was found more benefit for the hydride transfer compared with La^(3+),which is ascribed to the stronger polarization effect on the CH bond of isobutane.Moreover,the decline of hydride transfer activity can be slowed down by the catalytic cracking of the bulky molecules.Based on the product distribution,a new catalytic cycle of dimethylhexanes(DMHs)involving a direct formation of isobutene rather than tert-butyl carbocation was proposed in isobutane alkylation.Zhiqiang Yang Ruirui Zhang Honghua Zhang Hongguo Tang Ruixia Liu Suojiang Zhang 2022Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2022,35,6:2
