| 1 | Effect of Different Dietary Protein and Lipid Levels on the Growth,Body Composition,and Intestinal Digestive Enzyme Activities of Juvenile Yellow Drum Nibea albiflora(Richardson)显示文摘An 8-week feeding trial was conducted to determine the optimal dietary protein-to-lipid ratio for juvenile Nibea albiflora with an initial weight of(11.76 ± 0.20) g.Nine experimental diets containing different concentrations of protein(40%,47%,or 54%) and lipids(5%,9%,or 13%) in a 3 × 3 factorial experimental design were tested in triplicate groups of fish,while the protein-to-energy(P/E) ratios of the diets varied in the range of 19.74–28.32 mg k J^(-1).Results showed that fish fed diets containing 9% or 13% lipids with 54% protein exhibited significantly higher weight gains and specific growth rates than those fed other diets.The feed conversion rate of fish fed the diet with 40% protein and 5% lipids was significantly poorer than that of fish fed other diets.The protein efficiency rate of fish fed diets with 5% lipids was significantly lower than that of fish fed 9% or 13% lipid diets.Carcass lipid and energy contents were positively correlated with dietary lipid level regardless of protein level.Fish fed a 54% protein diet showed the highest trypsin activity.The intestinal lipase activity of fish fed the diet containing 13% lipids was significantly higher than that of fish fed 5% or 9% lipid diets.These results demonstrate the high protein dietary requirements of N.albiflora.A diet containing 54% protein and 9%–13% lipids with a P/E ratio of 26.2–27.81 mg protein k J^(-1) can be considered optimal for juvenile N.albiflora. | WANG Ligai HU Shenyu LOU Bao CHEN Dongxing ZHAN Wei CHEN Ruiyi LIU Feng XU Dongdong | 2018 | Journal of Ocean University of China2018,17,5: | 4 |
| 2 | Monte Carlo simulation of scintillation crystal detector for formation element logging显示文摘Formation elements logging is a neutron gamma spectroscopy logging technique used to acquire the content of elements and minerals by recording the gamma ray produced by the reaction of neutron and elemental nucleus in the formation. It has a wide usage in discriminating complex lithology and evaluating unconventional reservoir. The Monte Carlo simulation model of formation elements logging tool is established in this paper, with which the effects of tool parameters including the material and length of the scintillation crystal and source spacing on logging responses are modeled. The results show that the energy response of LaBr_3: Ce crystal is better than others, and the detection efficiency increases with the crystal length but decrease with source spacing. | 7 | Reduced smooth muscle-fibroblasts transformation potentially decreases intestinal wound healing and colitis-associated cancer in ageing mice显示文摘Cancer and impaired tissue wound healing with ageing are closely related to the quality of life of the elderly population.Given the increased incidence of cancer and the population ageing trend globally,it is very important to explore how ageing impairs tissue wound healing and spontaneous cancer.In a murine model of DSS-induced acute colitis and AOM/DSS-induced colitis-associated cancer(CAC),we found ageing significantly decreases intestinal wound healing and simultaneous CAC initiation,although ageing does not affect the incidence of AOM-induced,sporadic non-inflammatory CRC.Mechanistically,reduced fibroblasts were observed in the colitis microenvironment of ageing mice.Through conditional lineage tracing,an important source of fibroblasts potentially derived from intestinal smooth muscle cells(ISMCs)was identified orchestrating intestinal wound healing and CAC initiation in young mice.However,the number of transformed fibroblasts from ISMCs significantly decreased in ageing mice,accompanied by decreased intestinal wound healing and decreased CAC initiation.ISMCs-fibroblasts transformation in young mice and reduction of this transformation in ageing mice were also confirmed by ex-vivo intestinal muscular layer culture experiments.We further found that activation of YAP/TAZ in ISMCs is required for the transformation of ISMCs into fibroblasts.Meanwhile,the reduction of YAP/TAZ activation in ISMCs during intestinal wound healing was observed in ageing mice.Conditional knockdown of YAP/TAZ in ISMCs of young mice results in reduced fibroblasts in the colitis microenvironment,decreased intestinal wound healing and decreased CAC initiation,similar to the phenotype of ageing mice.In addition,the data from intestine samples derived from inflammatory bowel disease(IBD)patients show that activation of YAP/TAZ also occurs in ISMCs from these patients.Collectively,our work reveals an important role of the ageing stromal microenvironment in intestinal wound healing and CAC initiation.Furthermore,our work also identified a potential source of fibroblasts involved in colitis and CAC. | Yi Liu Yanhong Ji Ruiyi Jiang Chao Fang Gang Shi Lin Cheng Yinan Zuo Yixin Ye Xiaolan Su Junshu Li Huiling Wang Yuan Wang Yi Lin Lei Dai Shuang Zhang Hongxin Deng | 2023 | Signal Transduction and Targeted Therapy2023,8,9: | 0 |

| 11 | Quality of experience evaluation of HTTP video streaming based on user interactive behaviors显示文摘User interactive behaviors play a dual role during the hypertext transfer protocol(HTTP) video service: reflection and influence. However, they are seldom taken into account in practices. To this end, this paper puts forward the user interactive behaviors, as subjective factors of quality of experience(QoE) from viewer level, to structure a comprehensive multilayer evaluation model based on classic network quality of service(QoS) and application QoS. First, dual roles of user behaviors are studied and the characteristics are extracted where the user experience is correlated with user interactive behaviors. Furthermore, we categorize QoE factors into three dimensions and build the metric system. Then we perform the subjective tests and investigate the relationships among network path quality, user behaviors, and QoE. Ultimately, we employ the back propagation neural network(BPNN) to validate our analysis and model. | 13 | Lanthanide-semiconductor probes for precise imaging-guided phototherapy and immunotherapy显示文摘Objective::Immunotherapy is an effective tumor treatment strategy.However,its long treatment cycle limits its wide application across all cancer types.In this study,we optimized upconversion nanoparticles and manganese composite particles with a porous structure as a nanoplatform for synergistic photodynamic therapy(PDT)and photothermal therapy(PTT),and subsequent longer-term immunotherapy.Methods::The morphology,phase,and stability were first characterized to evaluate the biocompatibility of this material.The upconversion and near infrared II luminescence properties of the material and its stimuli-response effect were assessed from the absorbance and photoluminescence spectra.Phototherapy including PDT and PTT was demonstrated in vitro and in vivo,and immunotherapy was used to enhance the phototherapy.This study was approved by the Xi’an Jiaotong University,China(approval No.XJTULAC2020-585)on April 2,2020.Results::The nanoplatform showed good PDT and PTT effects with high upconversion luminescence,and exhibited a more sensitive glutathione response(detection limit:55μg/mL)using fluorescence recovery than that based on absorbance recovery,with the detection range extending up to 1.2 mg/mL.When the surface of the composite particles was modified with an anti-PD-L1 immune checkpoint inhibitor,it targeted A549 lung cancer cells.The resulting immune response enhanced the long-term anti-tumor effect of the therapy,especially in lung cancer patients with high PD-L1 expression.Conclusion::The designed composite can be simultaneously used to detect the glutathione concentration based on luminescence recovery in the tumor cells and as a theranostic nanoplatform for synergistic immuno-phototherapy when combined with an antibody. | Yanxing Wang Weidong Lü Ruiyi Dai Bi Lin Ruichan Lv | 2020 | Journal of Bio-X Research2020,3,4: | 0 |
