1Structure Design of Lower Limb Exoskeletons for Gait Training显示文摘Due to the close physical interaction between human and machine in process of gait training, lower limb exoskeletons should be safe, comfortable and able to smoothly transfer desired driving force/moments to the patients. Correlatively, in kinematics the exoskeletons are required to be compatible with human lower limbs and thereby to avoid the uncontrollable interactional loads at the human-machine interfaces. Such requirement makes the structure design of exoskeletons very difficult because the human-machine closed chains are complicated. In addition, both the axis misalignments and the kinematic character difference between the exoskeleton and human joints should be taken into account. By analyzing the DOF(degree of freedom) of the whole human-machine closed chain, the human-machine kinematic incompatibility of lower limb exoskeletons is studied. An effective method for the structure design of lower limb exoskeletons, which are kinematically compatible with human lower limb, is proposed. Applying this method, the structure synthesis of the lower limb exoskeletons containing only one-DOF revolute and prismatic joints is investigated; the feasible basic structures of exoskeletons are developed and classified into three different categories. With the consideration of quasi-anthropopathic feature, structural simplicity and wearable comfort of lower limb exoskeletons, a joint replacement and structure comparison based approach to select the ideal structures of lower limb exoskeletons is proposed, by which three optimal exoskeleton structures are obtained. This paper indicates that the human-machine closed chain formed by the exoskeleton and human lower limb should be an even-constrained kinematic system in order to avoid the uncontrollable human-machine interactional loads. 2New research trends on high-precision time transfer technology显示文摘High-precision time transfer plays an important role in the areas of fundamental research and applications. Accompanying w ith the remarkable improvements in the ability of generating and measuring high-accuracy time-frequency signal,seeking for new time-transfer techniques betw een distant clocks w ith much further improved accuracy attracts attentions w orld-w idely. The time-transfer technique based on optical pulses has the highest precision presently,and the further improvement in the accuracy is heavily dependent on the time-domain properties of the pulse as w ell as the sensitivity of the applied measurement on the exchanged pulse. The application of optical frequency comb in time transfer for a precision up to femtosecond level are currently the focus of much interest,and has recently achieved many breakthroughs. Further investigations show that,utilizing quantum techniques,i.e. quantum measurement technique and quantum optical pulse source,can lead to a new limit on the measured timing information. Furthermore,it can be immune from atmospheric parameters,such as pressure,temperature,humidity and so on.Such quantum improvements on time-transfer have a bright prospect in the future applications requiring extremely high-accuracy timing and ranging. 3Human adenovirus(HAdV)infection in children with acute respiratory tract infections in Guangzhou,China,2010–2021:a molecular epidemiology study显示文摘Background Human adenovirus(HAdV)infection can cause a variety of diseases.It is a major pathogen of pediatric acute respiratory tract infections(ARIs)and can be life-threatening in younger children.We described the epidemiology and subtypes shifting of HAdV among children with ARI in Guangzhou,China.Methods We conducted a retrospective study of 161,079 children diagnosed with acute respiratory illness at the Guangzhou Women and Children’s Medical Center between 2010 and 2021.HAdV specimens were detected by real-time PCR and the hexon gene was used for phylogenetic analysis.Results Before the COVID-19 outbreak in Guangzhou,the annual frequency of adenovirus infection detected during this period ranged from 3.92%to 13.58%,with an epidemic peak every four to fve years.HAdV demonstrated a clear seasonal distribution,with the lowest positivity in March and peaking during summer(July or August)every year.A signifcant increase in HAdV cases was recorded for 2018 and 2019,which coincided with a shift in the dominant HAdV subtype from HAdV-3 to HAdV-7.The latter was associated with a more severe disease compared to HAdV-3.The average mortality proportion for children infected with HAdV from 2016 to 2019 was 0.38%but increased to 20%in severe cases.After COVID-19 emerged,HAdV cases dropped to 2.68%,suggesting that non-pharmaceutical interventions probably reduced the transmission of HAdV in the community.Conclusion Our study provides the foundation for the understanding of the epidemiology of HAdV and its associated risks in children in Southern China.Yi Chen Tao Lin Chang‑Bing Wang Wan‑Li Liang Guang‑Wan Lian Mark Zanin Sook‑San Wong Xin‑Gui Tian Jia‑Yu Zhong Ying‑Ying Zhang Jia‑Hui Xie Ling‑Ling Zheng Fei‑Yan Chen Run Dang Ming‑Qi Zhao Yi‑Yu Yang Rong Zhou Bing Zhu 2022World Journal of Pediatrics2022,18,8:5

6Kinetic Characteristics of Neutralizing Antibody Responses Vary among Patients with COVID-19显示文摘Objective The coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19) pandemic continues to present a major challenge to public health. Vaccine development requires an understanding of the kinetics of neutralizing antibody(NAb) responses to severe acute respiratory syndrome coronavirus 2(SARS-CoV-2).Methods In total, 605 serum samples from 125 COVID-19 patients(from January 1 to March 14, 2020)varying in age, sex, severity of symptoms, and presence of underlying diseases were collected, and antibody titers were measured using a micro-neutralization assay with wild-type SARS-CoV-2.Results NAbs were detectable approximately 10 days post-onset(dpo) of symptoms and peaked at approximately 20 dpo. The NAb levels were slightly higher in young males and severe cases, while no significant difference was observed for the other classifications. In follow-up cases, the NAb titer had increased or stabilized in 18 cases, whereas it had decreased in 26 cases, and in one case NAbs were undetectable at the end of our observation. Although a decreasing trend in NAb titer was observed in many cases, the NAb level was generally still protective.Conclusion We demonstrated that NAb levels vary among all categories of COVID-19 patients. 8Simulation of Silty Clay Compressibility Parameters Based on Improved BP Neural Network Using Bayesian Regularization显示文摘Soil compressibility parameters are important indicators in the geotechnical field and are affected by various factors such as natural conditions and human interference.When the sample size is too large,conventional methods require massive human and financial resources.In order to reasonably simulate the compressibility parameters of the sample,this paper firstly adopts the correlation analysis to select seven influencing factors.Each of the factors has a high correlation with compressibility parameters.Meanwhile,the proportion of the weights of the seven factors in the Bayesian neural network is analyzed based on Garson theory.Secondly,an output model of the compressibility parameters of BR-BP silty clay is established based on Bayesian regularized BP neural network.Finally,the model is used to simulate the measured compressibility parameters.The output results are compared with the measured values and the output results of the traditional LM-BP neural network.The results show that the model is more stable and has stronger nonlinear fitting ability.The output of the model is basically consistent with the actual value.Compared with the traditional LMBP neural network model,its data sensitivity is enhanced,and the accuracy of the output result is significantly improved,the average value of the relative error of the compression coefficient is reduced from 15.54%to 6.15%,and the average value of the relative error of the compression modulus is reduced from 6.07%to 4.62%.The results provide a new technical method for obtaining the compressibility parameters of silty clay in this area,showing good theoretical significance and practical value.CAI Run PENG Tao WANG Qian HE Fanmin ZHAO Duoying 2020Earthquake Research in China2020,34,3:1

13Analysis of the Short-Term Curative Effect of Roxadustat in Treating Renal Anemia in Patients with Peritoneal Dialysis显示文摘Objective:To analyze the short-term curative effect of roxadustat in the treatment of renal anemia in patients with peritoneal dialysis.Methods:70 patients with peritoneal dialysis renal anemia admitted to the dialysis department of our hospital from March 2021-March 2023 were selected as research objects,divided into a research group and a reference group according to random number drawing method,with each group consisting of 35 cases.The patients in the research group were treated with roxadustat,and those in the reference group were treated with recombinant human erythropoietin.The total efficacy,anemia index,iron metabolism index,and occurrence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups.Results:The total efficacy of the treatment received in the research group was significantly higher than that in the reference group(P<0.05).In terms of anemia indicators,there was no statistically significant difference between the hemoglobin(Hb),the red blood cell(RBC),and the hematocrit(HCT)of both groups(P>0.05)before treatment.After treatment,the anemia indicators of the patients in the research group were significantly better than those in the reference group,(P<0.05).In terms of iron metabolism,before treatment,there was no significant difference between the total iron-binding capacity(TIBC),the transferrin(TRF),the ferritin(FER),and iron(Fe)of both groups(P>0.05).After treatment,the research group’s iron metabolism indicators were significantly better than those of the reference group(P<0.05).The incidence of adverse reactions in the research group was significantly lower than that in the reference group(P<0.05).Conclusion:The short-term curative effect of roxadustat in the treatment of peritoneal dialysis patients was demonstrated through this study,making it a viable treatment option.Yuechun Cao Jianmin Gao Qiang Zhu Shuhang Miao Run Tao 2023Journal of Clinical and Nursing Research2023,7,6:0

15Comprehensive analysis of complement-associated molecular features in hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘The complement cascade plays a“complementing”role in human immunity.However,the potential roles of complement system in impacting molecular and clinical features of hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)remain unclear.In this study,eleven public datasets are analyzed to compare the complement status between normal and cancerous samples based on 18 classical complement-associated genes.The complement scores are constructed to quantify complement signatures of individual tumors.HCC patients in the The Cancer Genome Atlas(TCGA)cohort are focused to perform systematical analyses between complement status and immune infiltration,miRNA expression,DNA methylation,clinicopathological features,and drug response.The results show that the complement scores in normal tissues are dramatically higher than those of tumor tissues.Tumor samples in the TCGA cohort are classified into complement score-low and score-high groups.Pathway analysis reveals that tumor-promoting pathways are typically inhibited in complement score-high group.This study also shows that tumor-killing immune cells,such as CD8^(+)T cells and natural killer cells are abundant and tumor-suppressing miRNAs are upregulated in complement score-high samples.In addition,we identify that complement scores are negatively correlated with certain clinical features,including pathological grade,clinical-stage,and portal vein invasion.Moreover,various molecular features together with complement scores are found to be correlated with response to anti-cancer drugs.This study provides a comprehensive and multidimensional analysis conducive to understanding the role of complement in cancer.Run Huang Guiqi Zhu Xiutao Fu Weiren Liu Chenyang Tao Jun Gao Weifeng Qu Yuan Fang Xifei Jiang Zhenbin Ding Jian Zhou Yinghong Shi Jia Fan Zheng Tang 2022Acta Biochimica et Biophysica Sinica2022,54,11:0

18RASSF1A methylation as a biomarker for detection of colorectal cancer and hepatocellular carcinoma显示文摘BACKGROUND Studies have validated the potential of methylated cell-free DNA as a biomarker in various tumors,and methylated DNA in plasma may be a potential biomarker for cancer.AIM To evaluate the diagnostic value of RASSF1A methylation in plasma for colorectal cancer(CRC)and hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC).METHODS A total of 92 CRC patients,67 colorectal polyp(CRP)patients,63 HCC patients,and 66 liver cirrhosis(LC)patients were enrolled.The plasma DNA was subjected to DNA extraction,double-strand DNA concentration determination,bisulfite conversion,purification,single-strand DNA concentration determination,and digital polymerase chain reaction(PCR)detection.The methylation rate was calculated.The diagnostic value was evaluated by the area under the curve(AUC).RESULTS The age and sex in the CRC and CRP groups and the HCC and LC groups were also matched.The DNA methylation rate of RASSF1A in plasma in the CRC group was 2.87±1.80,and that in the CRP group was 1.50±0.64.DNA methylation of RASSF1A in plasma showed a significant difference between the CRC and CRP groups.The AUC of RASSF1A methylation for discriminating the CRC and CRP groups was 0.82(0.76-0.88).The AUCs of T1,T2,T3 and T4 CRC and CRP were 0.83(0.72-0.95),0.87(0.78-0.95),0.86(0.77-0.95),and 0.75(0.64-0.85),respectively.The DNA methylation rate of RASSF1A in plasma in the HCC group was 4.45±2.93,and that in the LC group was 2.46±2.07.DNA methylation of RASSF1A in plasma for the HCC and LC groups showed a significant difference.The AUC of RASSF1A methylation for discriminating the HCC and LC groups was 0.70(0.60-0.79).The AUCs of T1,T2,T3 and T4 HCC and LC were 0.80(0.61,1.00),0.74(0.59-0.88),0.60(0.42-0.79),and 0.68(0.53-0.82),respectively.CONCLUSION RASSF1A methylation in plasma detected by digital PCR may be a potential biomarker for CRC and HCC.Jian Li Huan Li Zeng-Ci Run Zhen-Lei Wang Tao Jiang Yang An Zhi Li 2022World Journal of Gastrointestinal Oncology2022,14,8:0
19New recessive compound heterozygous variants of RP1L1 in RP1L1 maculopathy显示文摘AIM:To identify a maculopathy patient caused by new recessive compound heterozygous variants in RP1L1.METHODS:Comprehensive retinal morphological and functional examinations were evaluated for the patient with RP1L1 maculopathy.Targeted sequence capture array technique was used to screen potential pathologic variants.Polymerase chain reaction and Sanger sequencing were used to confirm the screening results.RESULTS:Fundus examination showed round macular lesions appeared in both eyes.Optical coherence tomography showed that the inner segment/outer segment continuity was disorganized and disruptive in the left eye,but it was uneven and slightly elevated in the right eye.Fundus autofluorescence showed patchy hyper-autofluorescence in the macula.Visual field examination indicates central defects in both eyes.Electroretinogram(ERG)and multifocal ERG showed no obvious abnormalities.Fundus fluorescein angiography in the macula showed obviously irregular hyper-fluorescence in the right eye and slightly hyper-fluorescence in the left eye.We found that the proband carried a missense variant(c.1972C>T)and a deletion variant(c.4717_4718del)of RP1L1,which were originated from the parents and formed compound heterozygous variants.Both variants are likely pathogenic according to the ACMG criteria.Multimodal imaging,ERG and detailed medical history are important diagnostic tools for differentiating between acquired and inherited retinal disorders.CONCLUSION:A maculopathy case with detailed retinal phenotype and new recessive compound heterozygous variants of RP1L1 is identified in a Chinese family,which expands the understanding of phenotype and genotype in RP1L1 maculopathy.Wen-Chao Cao Qing-Shan Chen Run Gan Tao Huang Xiao-He Yan 2024International Journal of Ophthalmology(English edition)2024,17,1:0
20Microchannel reactors for Fischer-Tropsch synthesis:Experimental investigation and mathematical modeling显示文摘The Fischer-Tropsch synthesis is a significant technology for converting coal,natural gas,and biomass into synthetic fuels.In recent years,the use of microchannel reactors for the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis has attracted significant attention.Fischer-Tropsch synthesis experiments were carried out in a microchannel reactor and the influences of reaction conditions on the experimental results were investigated in this study.Based on the experimental data,a dynamic multi-component pseudo-homogeneous variable-volume flow model of microchannel reactors for the Fischer-Tropsch synthesis was built to determine the pressure-,velocity-,conversion-and(component-wise)concentration-distributions in reaction channels.The model takes into account the combined effects of gas volume expansion caused by the frictional pressure drop and gas volume contraction caused by reaction consumption.A novel effective method for calculating the pressure and superficial gas velocity values in microchannel reactors was proposed in the model.Besides that,two sets of experimental data were selected from references to evaluate the validity and accuracy of the model.The reaction performances in the microchannels were analyzed carefully based on the calculated results.Huili Cao Run Xu Xiaojin Tang Tao Yang Shuandi Hou Chaopeng Hou 2023Chinese Journal of Chemical Engineering2023,64,12:0
