| 1 | Risk factors associated with 90-day recurrent stroke in patients on dual antiplatelet therapy for minor stroke or high-risk TIA:a subgroup analysis of the CHANCE trial显示文摘Objective Many patients receiving dual antiplatelet therapy still had recurrent strokes.We aimed to identify factors associated with recurrent stroke at 90 days in patients receiving dual antiplatelet therapy in Clopidogrel in High-risk patients with Acute Non-disabling Cerebrovascular Events trial.Methods Patients with transient ischaemic attack or minor stroke receiving clopidogrel and aspirin in the trial were analysed in the study.The primary outcome was recurrent stroke within 90 days after the index event.Cox proportional hazard model with backward selection was used to identify factors associated with stroke.results Among 2584 patients,212(8.2%)had a recurrent stroke,216(8.4%)had a composite of stroke,myocardial infarction,or vascular death and 204(7.9%)had ischaemic stroke within 90 days.Multivariate analysis identified the following factors associated with stroke:history of hypertension with poor blood pressure control(HR,1.92;95%CI 1.22 to 3.03),the high baseline National Institute of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS)score of 2 and 3(2.12(1.07 to 4.21)and 4.11(2.05 to 8.22),respectively),time from onset to randomisation of<12 hours(1.47(1.12 to 1.94)),the lipid-lowering therapy(0.61(0.47 to 0.83)),the open-label aspirin dose at day 1 of≥300 mg(1.98(1.45 to 2.69)).Intracranial arterial stenosis(ICAS)was significantly associated with stroke in the sensitivity analysis(2.17(1.16 to 4.04)).conclusions The high baseline NIHSS score,hypertension with poor blood pressure control,ICAS,time from onset to randomisation of less than 12 hours and no lipid-lowering therapy were associated with stroke,suggesting that patients with identified predictors still remain to be at high risk of recurrent stroke although being under the dual antiplatelet therapy. | Runqi Wangqin Xianwei Wang Yilong Wang Ying Xian Xingquan Zhao Liping Liu Hao Li Xia Meng Yongjun Wang | 2017 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2017,2,4: | 6 |

The spatial distribution pattern of the TM varies with the longitudinal distributions of salinity and suspended sediment concentration(SSC). The SSC is enhanced and the TM is intensified during dry seasons,whereas the center of the TM moves upstream by a distance of 10 km during wet seasons. | 4 | Statistical analysis of mesoscale eddy propagation velocity in the South China Sea deep basin显示文摘Using mesoscale eddy trajectory product derived from satellite altimetry data from 1993 to 2017,this study analyzes the statistical characteristics of spatiotemporal distribution of mesoscale eddy propagation velocities(C)in the South China Sea(SCS)deep basin with depths>1000 m.Climatologically,the zonal propagation velocities(cx)are westwards in the whole basin,and the meridional velocities(cy)are southwards in the northwestern basin,and northwards in the southeastern basin.The variation of cy with longitude is consistent with that of the background meridional currents with correlation coefficient R2 of 0.96,while the variation of cx is related both to the background zonal currents andβeffect.The propagation velocities characterize significant seasonality with the minimum magnitude occurring in summer and the maximum in winter for cx and C.Interannually,larger values of cx and cy mostly occurred in La Ni?a years in the negative phase of the Pacific Decadal Oscillation(PDO).Mesoscale eddies move fast at the beginning and end of their life span,i.e.,at their growth and dissipation periods,and slowly during their stable'midlife'period.This trend is negatively correlated with the rotating tangential velocity with R2 of–0.93.Eddies with extreme propagation velocities are defined,which are slower(faster)than 1.5 cm/s(15.4 cm/s)and take 1.5%(1.9%)of the total eddies.The extremely slow-moving(fastmoving)eddies tend to appear in the middle(on the edge)of the basin,and mostly occur in summer(winter).The mechanism analysis reveals that the spatiotemporal distributions of the propagation velocities of mesoscale eddies in the SCS are modulated by the basin-scale background circulation. | Runqi Huang Lingling Xie Quanan Zheng Mingming Li Peng Bai Keyi Tan | 2020 | Acta Oceanologica Sinica2020,39,11: | 4 |

| 6 | LDL-C levels,lipid-lowering treatment and recurrent stroke in minor ischaemic stroke or TIA显示文摘Background and purpose Dyslipidaemia is a major risk factor for ischaemic stroke and transient ischaemic attack(TIA).This study aimed to investigate the association between baseline low-density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL-C)level,lipid-lowering treatment and short-term risk of new stroke in patients with a minor ischaemic stroke or TIA.Methods We derived data from the Clopidogrel in High-risk patients with Acute Non-disabling Cerebrovascular Events trial.Patients with a minor stroke or TIA were categorised by LDL-C level at baseline(<2.6 or≥2.6 mmol/L(100 mg/dL))and with or without lipid-lowering treatment after symptom onset.The primary outcome was a new ischaemic stroke at 3 months.The association of baseline LDL-C level,lowering treatment and outcomes were assessed.Results Among 3027 patients,2154(71.2%)patients had an initial LDL-C≥2.6 mmol/L,of which 1267(41.9%)received lipid-lowering treatment.Elevated LDL-C level was associated with a higher risk of new ischaemic stroke at 3 months in patients without lipid-lowering treatment(adj.HR=1.35,95%CI:1.19 to 1.53),but not in those with lipid-lowering treatment(adj.HR=0.99,95%CI:0.82 to 1.19)(p for interaction=0.007).Patients with LDL-C≥2.6 mmol/L had a numerically higher risk of ischaemic stroke(11.8%vs 8.0%,adj.HR=1.37,95%CI:0.96 to 1.96)in those without lipid-lowering treatment.For patients with LDL-C≥2.6 mmol/L,lipid-lowering treatment was associated with reduced risk of ischaemic stroke at 3 months(7.9%vs 11.8%;adj.HR=0.54,95%CI:0.39 to 0.75).Conclusions Elevated untreated baseline LDL-C level was associated with an increased short-term risk of ischaemic stroke among patients presenting with minor ischaemic stroke or TIA.There was potential benefit of lipid-lowering treatment in minor stroke or TIA patients with LDL-C≥2.6 mmol/L.Trial registration number NCT00979589. | Yuesong Pan Runqi Wangqin Hao Li Aoming Jin Jiejie Li Jinxi Lin Xia Meng Ying Xian Daniel T Laskowitz Yongjun Wang | 2022 | Stroke & Vascular Neurology2022,7,4: | 2 |
| 7 | TaMADS29 interacts with TaNF-YB1 to synergistically regulate early grain development in bread wheat显示文摘Grain development is a crucial determinant of yield and quality in bread wheat(Triticum aestivum L.).However,the regulatory mechanisms underlying wheat grain development remain elusive.Here we report how Ta MADS29 interacts with Ta NF-YB1 to synergistically regulate early grain development in bread wheat.The tamads29 mutants generated by CRISPR/Cas9 exhibited severe grain filling deficiency,coupled with excessive accumulation of reactive oxygen species(ROS)and abnormal programmed cell death that occurred in early developing grains,while overexpression of Ta MADS29 increased grain width and1,000-kernel weight.Further analysis revealed that Ta MADS29 interacted directly with Ta NF-YB1;null mutation in Ta NF-YB1caused grain developmental deficiency similar to tamads29 mutants.The regulatory complex composed of Ta MADS29 and Ta NF-YB1 exercises its possible function that inhibits the excessive accumulation of ROS by regulating the genes involved in chloroplast development and photosynthesis in early developing wheat grains and prevents nucellar projection degradation and endosperm cell death,facilitating transportation of nutrients into the endosperm and wholly filling of developing grains.Collectively,our work not only discloses the molecular mechanism of MADS-box and NF-Y TFs in facilitating bread wheat grain development,but also indicates that caryopsis chloroplast might be a central regulator of grain development rather than merely a photosynthesis organelle.More importantly,our work offers an innovative way to breed high-yield wheat cultivars by controlling the ROS level in developing grains. | Guoyu Liu Runqi Zhang Sen Li Rehmat Ullah Fengping Yang Zihao Wang Weilong Guo Mingshan You Baoyun Li Chaojie Xie Liangsheng Wang Jie Liu Zhongfu Ni Qixin Sun Rongqi Liang | 2023 | Science China(Life Sciences)2023,66,7: | 1 |

| 9 | Yeast hydrolysate attenuates lipopolysaccharide-induced inflammatory responses and intestinal barrier damage in weaned piglets显示文摘Background Intestinal inflammation is the main risk factor causing intestinal barrier dysfunction and lipopolysaccharide(LPS)can trigger inflammatory responses in various eukaryotic species.Yeast hydrolysate(YH)possesses multibiological effects and is received remarkable attention as a functional ingredient for improving growth performance and promoting health in animals.However,there is still inconclusive on the protective effects of dietary YH supplementation on intestinal barrier of piglets.This study was conducted to investigate the attenuate effects of YH supplementation on inflammatory responses and intestinal barrier injury in piglets challenged with LPS.Methods Twenty-four piglets(with an average body weight of 7.42±0.34 kg)weaned at 21 days of age were randomly assigned to one of two dietary treatments(12 replications with one pig per pen):a basal diet or a basal diet containing YH(5 g/kg).On the 22nd d,6 piglets in each treatment were intraperitoneally injected with LPS at 150μg/kg BW,and the others were injected with the same amount of sterile normal saline.Four hours later,blood samples of each piglet were collected and then piglets were euthanized.Results Dietary YH supplementation increased average daily feed intake and average daily gain(P<0.01),decreased the ratio of feed intake to gain of piglets(P sponse,evidenced by the increase o=0.048).Lipopolysaccharide(LPS)injection induced systemic inflammatory ref serum concentrations of haptoglobin(HP),adrenocorticotropic hormone(ACTH),cortisol,and interleukin-1β(IL-1β).Furthermore,LPS challenge resulted in inflammatory intestinal damage,by up-regulation of the protein or mRNA abundances of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α),IL-1β,toll-like receptors 4(TLR4)and phosphor-nuclear factor-κB-p65(p-NFκB-p65)(P<0.01),and down-regulation of the jejunal villus height,the protein and mRNA abundances of zonula occludens-1(ZO-1)and occludin(OCC;P<0.05)in jejunal mucosa.Dietary YH supplementation decreased the impaired effects of ACTH,cortisol,HP,IL-1βand diamine oxidase in serum(P<0.05).Moreover,YH supplementation also up-regulated the jejunal villus height,protein and mRNA abundances of ZO-1 and OCC(P<0.05),down-regulated the mRNA expressions of TNF-αand IL-1βand the protein abundances of TNF-α,IL-1β,TLR4 and p-NFκB-p65 in jejunal mucosa in LPS-challenged pigs(P<0.01).Conclusion Yeast hydrolysate could attenuate inflammatory response and intestinal barrier injury in weaned piglets challenged with LPS,which was associated with the inhibition of TLR4/NF-κB signaling pathway activation. | Runqi Fu Chan Liang Daiwen Chen Gang Tian Ping Zheng Jun He Jie Yu Xiangbing Mao Yuheng Luo Junqiu Luo Bing Yu | 2023 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2023,14,4: | 0 |

| 11 | Blood pressure,body mass index lowering and ketogenesis in Qigong Bigu显示文摘Background:Hypertension is one of the most common comorbid conditions of epilepsy.Hypertension and epilepsy may be related to each other.Qigong Bigu practice induces a similar effect as fasting in the first week.As ketogenesis is induced during ketogenic diet therapy,we hypothesize that ketogenesis is detectable and related body weight loss would occur during the first week of Qigong Bigu practice.Methods:During the prospective observational study,34 healthy adult participants attended the Qigong Bigu practice for one week.The blood pressure,body weight,calorie consumption,blood glucose and beta-hydroxybutyrate level were measured.Results:The body weight and body mass index decreased by 2.39±1.34 kg(95%CI 1.92–2.85)and 0.94±0.57(95%CI 0.73–1.15),respectively,after five days of practice(P<0.001).The systolic and diastolic blood pressure decreased by 17.86±14.17 mmHg(95%CI 12.36–23.35)and 9.75±7.45 mmHg(95%CI 6.86–12.64),respectively(P<0.001).The average five-day calorie consumption was 1197.47±569.97 kcal(95%CI 998.60–1396.35).Meanwhile,no symptomatic hypoglycemia or other significant side effects were observed.The blood beta-hydroxybutyrate level increased to a nutritional level of 1.15±1.12 mmol/L(95%CI 0.76–1.62).The calorie consumption negatively correlated to the beta-hydroxybutyrate level in the blood.The loss of body weight and the decrease of body mass index were positively correlated to the blood beta-hydroxybutyrate level.Conclusions:Qigong Bigu can decrease the blood pressure,the body weight and the body mass index in healthy adult participants.The fasting stage of Qigong Bigu is accompanied by ketogenesis.Clinical trial of Qigong Bigu in hypertension and epilepsy patients might be worthwhile.The blood beta-hydroxybutyrate might be used as a biomarker to evaluate the effect of Qigong Bigu practice during fasting. | Bin Hong Runqi Luo Dezhi Cao Man Zhang Kewei Fang Jianhong Guo Jianxiang Liao | 2021 | Acta Epileptologica2021,3,1: | 0 |

| 19 | Visual exploration of latent space for traditional Chinese music显示文摘Generating compact and effective numerical representations of data is a fundamental step for many machine learning tasks.Traditionally,handcrafted features are used but as deep learning starts to show its potential,using deep learning models to extract compact representations becomes a new trend.Among them,adopting vectors from the model’s latent space is the most popular.There are several studies focused on visual analysis of latent space in NLP and computer vision.However,relatively little work has been done for music information retrieval(MIR)especially incorporating visualization.To bridge this gap,we propose a visual analysis system utilizing Autoencoders to facilitate analysis and exploration of traditional Chinese music.Due to the lack of proper traditional Chinese music data,we construct a labeled dataset from a collection of pre-recorded audios and then convert them into spectrograms.Our system takes music features learned from two deep learning models(a fully-connected Autoencoder and a Long Short-Term Memory(LSTM)Autoencoder)as input.Through interactive selection,similarity calculation,clustering and listening,we show that the latent representations of the encoded data allow our system to identify essential music elements,which lay the foundation for further analysis and retrieval of Chinese music in the future. | Jingyi Shen Runqi Wang Han-Wei Shen | 2020 | Visual Informatics2020,4,2: | 0 |
