1Chinese expert consensus on conversion therapy for hepatocellular carcinoma(2021 edition)显示文摘Recent advances in systemic and locoregional treatments for patients with unresectable or advanced hepatocellular carcinoma(HCC)have resulted in improved response rates. This has provided an opportunity for selected patients with initially unresectable HCC to achieve adequate tumor downstaging to undergo surgical resection,a‘conversion therapy’strategy. However, conversion therapy is a new approach to the treatment of HCC and its practice and treatment protocols are still being developed.Review the evidence for conversion therapy in HCC and develop consensus statements to guide clinical practice.Evidence review:Many research centers in China have accumulated significant experience implementing HCC conversion therapy.Preliminary findings and data have shown that conversion therapy represents an important strategy to maximize the survival of selected patients with intermediate stage to advanced HCC;however, there are still many urgent clinical and scientific challenges for this therapeutic strategy and its related fields. In order to summarize and learn from past experience and review current challenges, the Chinese Expert Consensus on Conversion Therapy for Hepatocellular Carcinoma(2021 Edition)was developed based on a review of preliminary experience and clinical data from Chinese and non-Chinese studies in this field and combined with recommendations for clinical practice.Sixteen consensus statements on the implementation of conversion therapy for HCC were developed. The statements generated in this review are based on a review of clinical evidence and real clinical experience and will help guide future progress in conversion therapy for patients with HCC.Hui-Chuan Sun Jian Zhou Zheng Wang Xiufeng Liu Qing Xie Weidong Jia Ming Zhao Xinyu Bi Gong Li Xueli Bai Yuan Ji Li Xu Xiao-Dong Zhu Dousheng Bai Yajin Chen Yongjun Chen Chaoliu Dai Rongping Guo Wenzhi Guo Chunyi Hao Tao Huang Zhiyong Huang Deyu Li Gang Li Tao Li Xiangcheng Li Guangming Li Xiao Liang Jingfeng Liu Fubao Liu Shichun Lu Zheng Lu Weifu Lv Yilei Mao Guoliang Shao Yinghong Shi Tianqiang Song Guang Tan Yunqiang Tang Kaishan Tao Chidan Wan Guangyi Wang Lu Wang Shunxiang Wang Tianfu Wen Baocai Xing Bangde Xiang Sheng Yan Dinghua Yang Guowen Yin Tao Yin Zhenyu Yin Zhengping Yu Bixiang Zhang Jialin Zhang Shuijun Zhang Ti Zhang Yamin Zhang Yubao Zhang Aibin Zhang Haitao Zhao Ledu Zhou Wu Zhang Zhenyu Zhu Shukui Qin Feng Shen Xiujun Cai Gaojun Teng Jianqiang Cai Minshan Chen Qiang Li Lianxin Liu Weilin Wang Tingbo Liang Jiahong Dong Xiaoping Chen Xuehao Wang Shusen Zheng Jia Fan 2022Hepatobiliary Surgery and Nutrition2022,11,2:4

18Effects of Dietary Protein Variations at Different Life-stages on Vocal Dominance of the African Clawed Frogs显示文摘How nutritional conditions during early development affect an organism’s phenotype at adulthood is still poorly understood despite a plethora of research on developmental plasticity. The'environmental matching'hypothesis predicts that individuals will have high fitness providing that their adult environment'matches'what they experienced during development. In contrast, the'silver spoon'hypothesis predicts that individuals who obtain better developmental resources will be generally superior. Here we tested these two hypotheses and examined the underlying hormonal mechanisms by manipulating the early dietary protein content of African clawed frogs(Xenopus laevis)for a year with a 2×2 factorial experimental design. We found that only a lowprotein food during development enhanced the vocal competition ability of male X.laevis, and that vocal dominance was associated with higher cortisol levels but not related with testosterone content. These results were not congruent with the'environmental matching'hypothesis or with the'silver spoon'hypothesis, suggesting the behavioral plasticity during development is more complex than our expectation in amphibians.Yan CAO Jiangyan SHEN Xiaocui WANG Song TAN Ping LI Jianghong RAN Yezhong TANG Jingfeng CHEN 2020Asian Herpetological Research2020,11,3:0
19Epidemiological characteristics and clinical manifestations of pediatric patients with COVID-19 in China: A multicenter retrospective study显示文摘Importance:The Coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)global pandemic poses a considerable challenge for pediatricians. Objective:This study aimed to identify the epidemiological characteristics and clinical features of pediatric patients with COVID-19 in China. Methods:This multicenter retrospective study included pediatric patients from 46 hospitals in China, covering 12 provinces and two municipalities.Epidemiological, demographic, clinical, laboratory, treatment, and outcome data were analyzed. Results:In total,211 pediatric patients with COVID-19 were included in this study. The median age was 7.0 years(range:22 days to 18 years).Approximately 16.3%of the patients exhibited asymptomatic infections,23.0%had upper respiratory tract infections, and 60.7%had pneumonia, including two with severe pneumonia and one with critical illness.Approximately 78.7%of the pediatric patients occurred in familial clusters. The most three common symptoms or signs at onset in children with COVID-19 were fever(54.5%),cough(49.3%),and pharyngeal congestion(20.8%).Only 17.6%of the patients presented with decreased lymphocyte count, whereas 13.6%had increased lymphocyte count.Among the patients with pneumonia who exhibited abnormal chest computed tomography findings,18.2%(23/127)of the patients had no other symptoms.Generally, the chest radiographs showed abnormalities that affected both lungs(49.6%);ground-glass opacity(47.2%)was the most common manifestation. The cure and improvement rates were 86.7%(183/211)and 13.3%(28/211),respectively.Only one patient with an underlying condition received invasive mechanical ventilation;none of the patients died.Interpretation:Similar to adults, children of all age groups are susceptible to COVID-19.Fortunately,most pediatric patients have mild symptoms or remain asymptomatic, despite the high incidence of pneumonia.Decreased proportions of white blood cells and lymphocytes are less frequent in children than in adults.Yan Bai Liwei Gao Xianfeng Wang Lili Zhong Jingfeng Li Shenggang Ding Yuejie Zheng Jun Liu Yuxia Cui Lina Wang Mingfeng Han Jun Liu Xinping Jiang Min Jiang Junhua Li Ning Chen Yunxiao Shang Hourong Zhou Yi Xu Gen Lu Xing Chen Jizhi Xu Qihong Fan Yu Tang Jiang Wu Cen Li Xiaoxiang Yang Chunxi Chen Yonghong Yang Gary Wing-Kin Wong Adong Shen Tianyou Wang Runming Jin Baoping Xu Kunling Shen 2021Pediatric Investigation2021,5,3:0
20A User-Transformer Relation Identification Method Based on QPSO and Kernel Fuzzy Clustering显示文摘User-transformer relations are significant to electric power marketing, power supply safety, and line loss calculations. To get accurate user-transformer relations, this paper proposes an identification method for user-transformer relations based on improved quantum particle swarm optimization(QPSO)and Fuzzy C-Means Clustering. The main idea is:as energymeters at different transformer areas exhibit different zero-crossing shift features,we classify the zero-crossing shift data from energy meters through Fuzzy C-Means Clustering and compare it with that at the transformer end to identify user-transformer relations. The proposed method contributes in three main ways.First, based on the fuzzy C-means clustering algorithm(FCM),the quantum particle swarm optimization(PSO)is introduced to optimize the FCM clustering center and kernel parameters. The optimized FCM algorithm can improve clustering accuracy and efficiency.Since easily falls into a local optimum,an improved PSO optimization algorithm(IQPSO)is proposed.Secondly, considering that traditional FCM cannot solve the linear inseparability problem, this article uses a FCM(KFCM)that introduces kernel functions.Combinedwith the IQPSOoptimization algorithm used in the previous step, the IQPSO-KFCM algorithm is proposed.Simulation experiments verify the superiority of the proposed method. Finally, the proposed method is applied to transformer detection. The proposed method determines the class members of transformers and meters in the actual transformer area, and obtains results consistent with actual user-transformer relations. This fully shows that the proposed method has practical application value.Yong Xiao Xin Jin Jingfeng Yang Yanhua Shen Quansheng Guan 2021Computer Modeling in Engineering & Sciences2021,,3:0
