1Chromosome-scale genome assembly provides insights into the evolution and flavor synthesis of passion fruit (Passiflora edulis Sims)显示文摘Passion fruit(Passiflora edulis Sims)is an economically valuable fruit that is cultivated in tropical and subtropical regions of the world.Here,we report an~1341.7Mb chromosome-scale genome assembly of passion fruit,with 98.91%(~1327.18Mb)of the assembly assigned to nine pseudochromosomes.The genome includes 23,171 protein-coding genes,and most of the assembled sequences are repetitive sequences,with long-terminal repeats(LTRs)being the most abundant.Phylogenetic analysis revealed that passion fruit diverged after Brassicaceae and before Euphorbiaceae.Ks analysis showed that two whole-genome duplication events occurred in passion fruit at 65 MYA and 12 MYA,which may have contributed to its large genome size.An integrated analysis of genomic,transcriptomic,and metabolomic data showed that‘alpha-linolenic acid metabolism’,‘metabolic pathways’,and‘secondary metabolic pathways’were the main pathways involved in the synthesis of important volatile organic compounds(VOCs)in passion fruit,and this analysis identified some candidate genes,including GDP-fucose Transporter 1-like,Tetratricopeptide repeat protein 33,protein NETWORKED 4B isoform X1,and Golgin Subfamily A member 6-like protein 22.In addition,we identified 13 important gene families in fatty acid pathways and eight important gene families in terpene pathways.Gene family analysis showed that the ACX,ADH,ALDH,and HPL gene families,especially ACX13/14/15/20,ADH13/26/33,ALDH1/4/21,and HPL4/6,were the key genes for ester synthesis,while the TPS gene family,especially PeTPS2/3/4/24,was the key gene family for terpene synthesis.This work provides insights into genome evolution and flavor trait biology and offers valuable resources for the improved cultivation of passion fruit.Zhiqiang Xia Dongmei Huang Shengkui Zhang Wenquan Wang Funing Ma Bin Wu Yi Xu Bingqiang Xu Di Chen Meiling Zou Huanyu Xu Xincheng Zhou Rulin Zhan Shun Song 2021Horticulture Research2021,8,1:15
2A Comprehensive Evaluation of Tourism Climate Suitability in Qinghai Province, China显示文摘Qinghai Province is an important component of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau in China. Scientific evaluation of the suitability of Qinghai's climate for tourism can contribute to overcoming obstacles posed by climate on sustainable tourism development in Qinghai Province, including disparities between the low and high seasons, high altitude health concerns, and weather events. A tourism climate suitability evaluation model of the Qinghai-Tibet Plateau is constructed (Tourism Climate Suitability Index, or TCSI), and tourism climate suitability is comprehensively evaluated for Qinghai Province from climate data from 1960 to 2009. Results show that: (I) There is clear distributional characteristics of spatial-temporal variability of TCSI values in Qinghai Province. (II) Tourism climate suitability in Qinghai Province has significant seasonal and regional differences. The year is divided into a very suitable period (July and August), suitable tourism periods (from April and October), less suitable periods (From Nov to Mar). June to August is the most suitable tourism period in Qinghai. Qinghai Province is divided into five levels of tourism climate suitability: most suitable regions, very suitable regions, suitable regions, less suitable regions, and unsuitable region. (III) The key factor which influences regional differences in tourism climatic suitability is atmospheric oxygen. 3Damage Identification in Simply Supported Bridge Based on Rotational-Angle Influence Lines Method显示文摘To locate and quantify local damage in a simply supported bridge, in this study, we derived a rotational-angle influence line equation of a simply supported beam model with local damage. Using the diagram multiplication method, we introduce an analytical formula for a novel damage-identification indicator, namely the diff erence of rotational-angle influence linescurvature(DRAIL-C). If the initial stiff ness of the simply supported beam is known, the analytical formula can be effectively used to determine the extent of damage under certain circumstances. We determined the effectiveness and anti-noise performance of this new damage-identification method using numerical examples of a simply supported beam, a simply supported hollow-slab bridge, and a simply supported truss bridge. The results show that the DRAIL-C is directly proportional to the moving concentrated load and inversely proportional to the distance between the bridge support and the concentrated load and the distance between the damaged truss girder and the angle measuring points. 5A theoretical model for assessing the sustainability of ecosystem services显示文摘The Value of the World's Ecosystem Services and Natural Capital by Costanza in 1997 is generally re-garded as a monument for the research of valuing ecosystem services. However, the classif ication of ecosystem ser-vices, the method of various services summation and the purpose for static global value had be confronted by many criticisms. Based on the summary of these criticisms, suggestions, related function assessment and further study direction, the sustainability of ecosystem services is presented. The two basic indicators in ecology, productivity and biodiversity, respectively charactering the ability of producing and self-organizing, not only represent the internal function of ecosystem, but also are proportioned to its external function of supporting and providing for human life. On presenting the general form of ecosystem services assessment, this paper improves the mathematical formula by giving a function adjusting coeff icient composed of productivity and biodiversity. Theoretically, the integration of the two indicators reflects the changes of ecosystem services at spatial and temporal scales, can physically assess the sustainability of ecosystem services, and build a f irm scientif ic fundament of value assessment for ecosystem services. 6Synthesis and electrochemical properties of Al-doped LiVPO_4F cathode materials for lithium-ion batteries显示文摘Al-doped LiVPO4F cathode materials LiAlxV1-xPO4F were prepared by two-step reactions based on a car-bothermal reduction (CTR) process. The properties of the Al-doped LiVPO4F were investigated by X-ray diffraction (XRD),scanning electron microscopy (SEM),and electrochemical measurements. XRD studies show that the Al-doped LiVPO4F has the same triclinic structure (space group p1 ) as the undoped LiVPO4F. The SEM images exhibit that the particle size of Al-doped LiVPO4F is smaller than that of the undoped LiVPO4F and that the smallest particle size is only about 1 μm. 7Value of Ecosystem Services in Conventional and Organic Rice Paddies:A Case Study in Wannian,Jiangxi,China显示文摘In the current study,the ecosystem services(ES) of conventional and organic rice paddies in Wannian,Jiangxi Province,China are investigated.First,the ES at the field level under organic and conventional paddies were investigated.Total economic value of ES in organic rice paddies was 30093.08 yuan RMB/ha per year and that of conventional rice paddies was 22 793.31 yuan RMB/ha per year.The total indirect value of ES was 14 813.7 yuan RMB/ha per year in organic rice paddies and 12 424.56 yuan RMB/ha per year in conventional ones.There were significant differences between organic and conventional rice paddies for the economic values.Then,this economic information was used to extrapolate and to calculate the total and indirect value of ES from rice paddies in Wangnian.The total and indirect economic values of ES from conventional rice paddies in Wannian were 6791 million and 3702 million yuan RMB per year respectively,and the total and indirect economic values of ES from organic rice paddies in Wannian were 1311 million and 646 million yuan RMB per year.If half the area had being converted to organic farming in Wannian,the total and indirect economic values of ES from conventional rice paddies were 3397 million and 1851 million yuan RMB per year,and the total and indirect economic values of ES from organic rice paddies were 5794 million and 2852 million yuan RMB per year.Finally,the total economic value of ES in rice paddies in Wannian was demonstrated through geographic information system techniques.Zhang Dan Min Qingwen He Lu Cheng Shengkui Fang Jianmin 2010Chinese Journal of Population,Resources and Environment2010,8,2:5
8Residents’ Attitudes Towards Tourism in a Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems Pilot Site: a Case Study in China显示文摘Globally Important Agricultural Heritage Systems (GIAHS) is a wide program to promote the conservation and adap-tive management of such systems and their associated landscapes, biodiversity, knowledge systems and cultures. Rice-Fish Systems (RFS) in Longxian village of China, as a traditional agricultural system, was selected as one of the five pilot sites of GIAHS in 2005. Researchers have paid more attention to the dynamic conser-vation and adaptive management of RFS because it is under severe threats from global development challenges. Tourism is suggested to be brought into the RFS conservation program as an alternative industry. This paper presents a comparative study of residents in three types of farm household in Longxian, seeking attitudes to the RFS conservation and tourism development and ways in which such information may guide future strategies. Results show resi-dents, belonging to the household type in which most family mem-bers are abroad, have the most positive attitudes to RFS conserva-tion and tourism development; while residents, as other household type in which less than 50% of family members are abroad, are the least sensitive group in these three household types, due to the motivation of moving abroad weakening their enthusiasm to participate in the local activities. 9Impacts of birdwatching tourism on environment and economy显示文摘Birdwatching tourism can be a good model for nature conservation and economic development if it is managed with the well-being of local ecosystems and human communities. Birdwatchers can bring financial sources to local nature conservation. Many communities and local leaders consider birdwatching as a significant mean to develop local economics and publicize regional image, but only few research have tried to study the impacts of relevant activities on destinations. The purpose of the paper is to give a comprehensive review on impacts of birdwatching from conservation economics and biology perspective. Use a behavioral approach study impacts of birdwatching tourism on environment and economy. 10Synthesis and electrochemical performance of LiMnPO_4 /C composites cathode materials显示文摘LiMnPO_4 /C composites were synthesized via solid-state reaction with different carbon sources: sucrose, citric acid and oxalic acid. The sam- ples were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) and electrochemical performance test. The results of XRD reveal that carbon coating has no effect on the phase of LiMnPO_4 . The LiMnPO_4 /C synthesized at 600 °C with citric acid as carbon source shows an initial discharge capacity of 117.8 mA·hg^-1 at 0.05 C rate. After 30 cycles, the capacity remains 98.2 mAh·g^-1 . 12Approach to the Geopolitical Influences of Great Powers in Southeast Asia: Case Studies of China and the US显示文摘A quantitative approach to the national geopolitical influence is helpful to provide a reference for national sustainable development on the international stage, based on describing national diplomatic capacity and overseas influence. Herein, this study proposes a complex geopolitical influence model, considering the affected nations' response. The geopolitical influences of great power in the affected nation are correlated with overall strength, the acceptance degree of the affected nation to the great power and the distance between both sides. Then, the geopolitical influences of China and the US in Southeast Asia countries are empirically analyzed from 2005 to 2015. The geopolitical influence of China in Southeast Asia has been largely growing for the past decades, accompanying with a constant trend of the US' effects. It is believed that China and the US can coexist peacefully in Southeast Asia to promote the regional development, and jointly create an open, inclusive and balanced regional cooperation architecture that benefits all nations in this region and great powers, through mutual political trust and economic beneficial cooperation. 13Evaluation of regional tourism competitiveness:a case study of southwest China显示文摘Evaluation of regional tourism competitiveness has been a hot issue of tourism geography and regional economics in recent years. This study introduces system theory and Professor Porter's National Diamond Model into constructing the evaluation index system of regional tourism competitiveness, which includes four decisive factors, namely production factor, market, industry and support competitiveness. And by comprehensive use of subjective and objective methods like Principal Component Analysis (PCA) and Analysis Hierarchy Process (AHP) the appraised values were calculated. At the same time, the method was applied to dynamic demonstration analysis of the tourism competitiveness of the provinces in Southwest China from 2001 to 2005. The result shows that their tourism comprehensive competitiveness has distinct differences. The comprehensive competitiveness of Sichuan and Yunnan are better, Chongqing and Guangxi are in the middle, and Guizhou and Tibet are weak. According to the competitiveness ranks in 2001-2005, comprehensive, production factor, industry and support competitiveness changed a little and market competitiveness changed a lot. 14A dynamic analysis of water footprint of Jinghe River basin显示文摘Water footprint in a region is defined as the volume of water needed for the production of goods and services consumed by the local people. Ecosystem services are a kind of important services, so ecological water use is one necessary component in water footprint. Water footprint is divided into green water footprint and blue water footprint but the former one is often ignored. In this paper water footprint includes blue water needed by ag-ricultural irrigation, industrial and domestic water demand, and green water needed by crops, economic forests, livestock products, forestlands and grasslands. The study calculates the footprint of the Jinghe River basin in 1990, 1995, 2000 and 2005 with quarto methods. Results of research show that water footprints reached 164.1×108m3, 175.69×108m3 and 178.45×108m3 respectively in 1990, 1995 and 2000 including that of ecological water use, but reached 77.68×108m3, 94.24×108m3, 92.92×108m3 and 111.36×108m3 respectively excluding that of ecological water use. Green water footprint is much more than blue water footprint; thereby, green water plays an important role in economic development and ecological construction. The dynamic change of water footprints shows that blue water use increases rapidly and that the ecological water use is occupied by economic and domestic water use. The change also shows that water use is transferred from primary industry to secondary industry. In primary industry, it is trans-ferred from crops farming to forestry and animal agriculture. The factors impelling the change include development anticipation on economy, government policies, readjustment of the industrial structure, population growth, the raise of urbanization level, and structural change of consumption, low level of water-saving and poor ability of waste wa-ter treatment. With blue water use per unit, green water use per unit, blue water use structure and green water use structure, we analyzed the difference of the six ecological function districts of the Jinghe River basin. Future ecologi-cal construction may influence on blue water use of District V and District VI at middle and lower reaches. 15Outcome of bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation after out-of-hospital cardiac arrest in Beijing显示文摘Aim:We aimed to investigate the association between bystander cardiopulmonary resuscitation(CPR)and survival of patients with out-of-hospital cardiac arrests(OHCA)in Beiing.Methods:This observational study analyzed adult patients with OHCA treated by the Beiing emergency medical service(EMS)from January 2013 to December 2017.Data were collected in a Utstein style with a 1-year follow-up and a primary outcome 01 survival to hospital discharge.Secondary outcomes were return of spontaneous circulation(ROSC),survival to admission,favorable neurological outcome at hospital discharge,and survival and favorable neurological outcomes of up to 1 year.Results:A total of 5016 patients with OHCA from Beiing's urban area were recorded by EMS,wherein 765 patients(15.25%)underwent bystander CPR.The data were propensity score-matched forage,sex,location,witness,aetiology,initial rhythm,and call to EMS arrival to compare the difference between the occurrence and nonoccurrence of bystander CPR.The survival upon the discharge of patients who experienced bystander CPR was superior to that of patients who did not receive bystander CPR(3.7%vs 1.2%,respectively;P<0.001).Moreover,patients with OHCA resuscitated with bystander CPR achieved better outcomes of ROSC,survival to admission,favorable neurological outcome at hospital discharge,survival and favorable neurological outcome after 1 year compared with those who were not resuscitated with bystander CPR.Conclusion:Survival and neu rological outcome of patients who underwent bystander CPR was better than those who underwent nonbystander CPR in Beiing.However,the rate of bystander CPR was low.Xian Shi Yang Wu Haibin Li Shengkui Ma Dou Li Ding Gao Hao Cui Changxiao Yu Song Yang Ziren Tang Fei Shao 2021Emergency and Critical Care Medicine2021,1,2:2

17Synergistic Action of Clonorchiasis,HBV Infection and Alcohol Consumption on Primary Hepatocellular Carcinoma显示文摘OBJECTIVE It has been recognized that HBV infection andalcohol consumption are two important risk factors for primaryhepatocellular carcinoma (HCC). Recently, the role of clonorchiasisas a risk factor for HCC is controversial. We aimed to investigatewhether these factors increase the risk of HCC in Guangxi, China.METHODS A hospital-based, case-control study of HCCwas conducted from July 2005 to July 2007. We enrolled 500consecutive patients with HCC as an experimental group and 500patients without tumor in liver as a control group. The risk factorsthat the patients were exposed to were assessed.RESULTS Comparing the risks of developing the HCC, wefound out the following results. The risk of developing HCC forthe patients with clonorchiasis was 5 folds of that for the patientswithout clonorchiasis (OR = 5.0; 95% CI: 3.1-8.1), and the risk forthe patients with alcohol consumption was 3 folds of that for thepatients without drinking alcohol (OR = 3.4; 95% CI: 2.3-4.9), andsimilarly, the risk for the patients with HBV infection was 21 timesof that for the patients without HBV infection (OR = 20.6; 95% CI:14.3-29.7). According to crossover analysis, there was significantinteraction among clonorchiasis, HBV infection and alcoholconsumption, with synergistic indices greater than 1. The etiologicfractions attributed to these interactions [EF (A x B)] are 0.7465,0.5789 and 0.5506, respectively.CONCLUSION Clonorchiasis, HBV infection and heavy alcoholconsumption are independent risk factors for developing HCC inour population in Guangxi, and as they can interact synergistically,the risk of developing HCC is increased. 18Bayesian method for system reliability assessment of overlapping pass/fail data显示文摘For high reliability and long life systems, system pass/fail data are often rare. Integrating lower-level data, such as data drawn from the subsystem or component pass/fail testing,the Bayesian analysis can improve the precision of the system reliability assessment. If the multi-level pass/fail data are overlapping,one challenging problem for the Bayesian analysis is to develop a likelihood function. Since the computation burden of the existing methods makes them infeasible for multi-component systems, this paper proposes an improved Bayesian approach for the system reliability assessment in light of overlapping data. This approach includes three steps: fristly searching for feasible paths based on the binary decision diagram, then screening feasible points based on space partition and constraint decomposition, and finally simplifying the likelihood function.
