| 1 | A fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling and its applications显示文摘We propose a fundamental theorem for eco-environmental surface modelling(FTEEM) in order to apply it into the fields of ecology and environmental science more easily after the fundamental theorem for Earth’s surface system modeling(FTESM). The Beijing-Tianjin-Hebei(BTH) region is taken as a case area to conduct empirical studies of algorithms for spatial upscaling, spatial downscaling, spatial interpolation, data fusion and model-data assimilation, which are based on high accuracy surface modelling(HASM), corresponding with corollaries of FTEEM. The case studies demonstrate how eco-environmental surface modelling is substantially improved when both extrinsic and intrinsic information are used along with an appropriate method of HASM. Compared with classic algorithms, the HASM-based algorithm for spatial upscaling reduced the root-meansquare error of the BTH elevation surface by 9 m. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial downscaling reduced the relative error of future scenarios of annual mean temperature by 16%. The HASM-based algorithm for spatial interpolation reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean precipitation by 0.2%. The HASM-based algorithm for data fusion reduced the relative error of change trend of annual mean temperature by 70%. The HASM-based algorithm for model-data assimilation reduced the relative error of carbon stocks by 40%. | 4 | miR-199-5p regulates spermiogenesis at the posttranscriptional level via targeting Tekt1 in allotriploid crucian carp显示文摘Background:Sperm abnormalities are one of the primary factors leading to male sterility,but their pathogenesis is still unclear.Although miRNAs are suggested to exert important roles in the regulation of spermatogenesis at both transcriptional and posttranscriptional levels,little is currently known regarding the regulation of sperm flagella assembly by microRNAs(miRNAs).The role of miRNAs in the development of sperm abnormalities in sterile triploid fish has not been studied.Results:In this study,we found that miR-199-5p was widely expressed in all detected tissues of different-ploidy crucian carp.As one of the testis-specific candidate markers,Tekt1 was predominantly expressed in the testis.Quantitative real-time PCR(qRT-PCR)analyses showed that the expression trend of miR-199-5p was exactly opposite to that of Tekt1.Through bioinformatics analysis,we identified a putative miR-199-5p binding site in the Tekt1 mRNA.We further identified Tekt1 as a target of miR-199-5p using luciferase reporter assay.Finally,we confirmed that miR-199-5p was necessary for sperm flagellar assembly and spermatogenesis in vivo via intraperitoneal injection of miR-199-5p antagomir or agomir in diploid red crucian carp.Moreover,miR-199-5p gainof-function could lead to spermatids apoptosis and abnormal spermatozoa structure,which is similar to that of allotriploid crucian carp.Conclusions:Our studies suggested that abnormally elevated miR-199-5p inhibited the sperm flagella formation in spermiogenesis by negatively regulating the expression of Tekt1,thereby causing sperm abnormalities of male allotriploid crucian carp. | Shengnan Li Qiubei Wang Lu Huang Siyu Fan Ting Li Yuqing Shu Chun Zhang Yi Zhou Qingfeng Liu Kaikun Luo Min Tao Shaojun Liu | 2022 | Journal of Animal Science and Biotechnology2022,13,5: | 1 |

| 7 | An analysis of the status of diagnostic radiology equipment in China显示文摘Objective:To analyze the current situation of diagnostic radiology equipment in Chinese mainland and to understand changes in the past 20 years,including gaps with other countries,in order to provide a scientific basis for the government to formulate relevant policies and regulations,and supplement Chinese data for international organizations.Methods:This survey adopted a uniformly designed questionnaire,which was completed by the investigators or the respondents.The survey was distributed to all medical institutions that provided diagnostic radiology services in 31 provinces,autonomous regions,and municipalities,excluding Hong Kong,Macao,Taiwan,and military,China.Results:The survey showed that in the past 20 years,the number of medical institutions and diagnostic radiology equipment per million population in China has increased substantially.Dental radiology equipment increased nine-fold,and mammography equipment and computed tomography scanners showed a nearly five-fold increase.The four types of diagnostic radiology equipment,general diagnostic,fluoroscopic,mammography,and computed tomography,were associated with the population.Dental radiology equipment and bone mineral densitometers were related only to the gross domestic product(GDP).A large gap remains in the diagnostic radiology equipment per million population between China and the equipment of health-care level(HCL)I countries.Conclusions:An imbalance in the number of units of diagnostic radiology equipment per million population was observed in the different regions,China.Various types of diagnostic radiology equipment,especially mammography equipment and computed tomography scanners,need to be deployed to meet the medical needs of different populations. | Shuxia Hao Mengxue Li Shengnan Fan Hui Xu Jinsheng Cheng Jun Deng | 2023 | Radiation Medicine and Protection2023,4,3: | 0 |

| 9 | Temporal patterns of algae in different urban lakes and their correlations with environmental variables in Xi’an,China显示文摘Urban lakes were critical in aquatic ecology environments,but how environmental factors affected the distribution and change characteristics of algal communities in urban lakes of Xi’an city was not clearly.Here,we investigated the algal community structure of six urban lakes in Xi’an and evaluated the effects of water quality parameters on algae.The results indicated that the significant differences on physicochemical parameters existed in different urban lakes.The maximum concentration of total phosphorus in urban lakes was(0.18±0.01)mg/L and there was a phenomenon of phosphorus limitation.In addition,51 genera of algae were identified and Chlorella sp.was the dominant algal species,which was affiliated with Chlorophyta.Network analysis elucidated that each lake had a unique algal community network and the positive correlation was dominant in the interaction between algae species,illustrating that mature microbial communities existed or occupied similar niches.Redundancy analysis illustrated that environmental factors explained 47.35% variance of algal species-water quality correlation collectively,indicating that water quality conditions had a significant influence on the temporal variations of algae.Structural equation model further verified that algal community structure was directly or indirectly regulated by different water quality conditions.Our study shows that temporal patterns of algal communities can reveal the dynamics and interactions of different urban ecosystem types,providing a theoretical basis for assessing eutrophication levels and for water quality management. | Shengnan Chen Hanyan Liu Haihan Zhang Kai Li Na Wang Weimin Sun Xiang Liu Limin Niu Ben Ma Fan Yang Haiyun Li Daijuan Zhao Yan Xing | 2023 | Journal of Environmental Sciences2023,,11: | 0 |
