| 1 | 4-Hydroxybenzyl-substituted amino acid derivatives from Gastrodia elata显示文摘Seven new 4-hydroxybenzyl-substituted amino acid derivatives(1-7), together with 11 known compounds, were isolated from an aqueous extract of the rhizomes of Gastrodia elata Blume.Their structures were determined by spectroscopic and chemical methods. Compounds 1-3 are pyroglutamate derivatives containing 4-hydroxybenzyl units at the N atom and 4-7 are the first examples of natural products with the 4-hydroxybenzyl unit linked via a thioether bond to 2-hydroxy-3-mercaptopropanoic acid(4-6) and 2-hydroxy-4-mercaptobutanoic acid(7), which would be biogenetically derived from cysteine and homocysteine, respectively. The structures of 1 and 2 were verified by synthesis, while the absolute configurations of 4, 5 and 7 were assigned using Mosher's method based on the MPA determination rule of ΔδRS values. | 3 | Three pairs of alkaloid enantiomers from the root of Isatis indigotica显示文摘Three pairs of enantiomerically pure alkaloids with diverse structure features, named isatindigoticoic acid A and epiisatindigoticoic acid A [(—)-1 and(+)-1], phaitanthrin A and epiphaitanthrin A [(—)-2 and(+)-2], and isatindopyrromizol A and epiisatindopyrromizol A [(—)-3and(+)-3], respectively, were isolated from an aqueous extract of the roots of Isatis indigotica. Racemic and scalemic mixtures of these enantiomers were separated by HPLC on a chiral semi-preparative column.Their structures including absolute configurations were determined by extensive spectroscopic analysis in conjunction with the calculation of electronic circular dichroism(ECD) spectra. The enantiomer pairs possess parent structures of 2-oxo-1,2,3,4-tetrahydroquinoline-4-carboxylic acid, indolo[2,1-b]quinazolinone, and 3-thioxohexahydro-1H-pyrrolo[1,2-c]imidazol-1-one, respectively. | 5 | Sulfur-enriched alkaloids from the root of Isatis indigotica显示文摘Five new sulfur-enriched alkaloids isatithioetherins A–E(1–5), and two pairs of scalemic enantiomers(t)-and( à)-isatithiopyrin B(6 a and 6 b) and isoepigoitrin and isogoitrin(7 a and 7 b), along with the known scalemic enantiomers epigoitrin and goitrin(8 a and 8 b), were isolated and characterized from an aqueous extract of the Isatis indigotica roots. Their structures were determined by extensive spectroscopic data analysis, including 2 D NMR and theoretical calculations of electronic circular dichroism(ECD) spectra based on the quantum-mechanical time-dependent density functional theory(TDDFT). Compounds 1–5 represent a novel group of sulfur-enriched alkaloids, biogenetically originating from stereoselective assemblies of epigoitrin-derived units. Isolation and structure characterization of 6 a and 6 b support the postulated biosynthetic pathways for the diastereomers 9 a and 9 b via a rare thio-Diels–Alder reaction. | 14 | Sulfur and nitrogen codoped cyanoethyl cellulose-derived carbon with superior gravimetric and volumetric capacity for potassium ion storage显示文摘We fabricated sulfur and nitrogen codoped cyanoethyl cellulose-derived carbons(SNCCs)with state-of-the-art electrochemical performance for potassium ion battery(PIB)and potassium ion capacitor(PIC)anodes.At 0.2,0.5,1,2,5,and 10 A g−1,the SNCC shows reversible capacities of 369,328,249,208,150,and 121 mA h g−1,respectively.Due to a high packing density of 1.01 g cm^(−3),the volumetric capacities are also uniquely favorable,being 373,331,251,210,151,and 122 mA h cm^(−3)at these currents,respectively.SNCC also shows promising initial Coulombic efficiency of 69.0%and extended cycling stability with 99.8%capacity retention after 1000 cycles.As proof of principle,an SNCC-based PIC is fabricated and tested,achieving 94.3Wh kg^(−1)at 237.5Wkg^(−1)and sustaining over 6000 cycles at 30 A g−1 with 84.5%retention.The internal structure of S and N codoped SNCC is based on highly dilated and defective graphene sheets arranged into nanometer-scale walls.Using a baseline S-free carbon for comparison(termed NCC),the role of S doping and the resultant dilated structure was elucidated.According to galvanostatic intermittent titration technique and electrochemical impedance spectroscopy analyses,as well as COMSOL simulations,this structure promotes rapid solid-state diffusion of potassium ions and a solid electrolyte interphase that is stable during cycling.X-ray diffraction was used to probe the ion storage mechanisms in SNCC,establishing the role of reversible potassium intercalation and the presence of KC36,KC24,and KC8 phases at low voltages. | Guangzeng Cheng Wenzhe Zhang Wei Wang Huanlei Wang Yixian Wang Jing Shi Jingwei Chen Shuai Liu Minghua Huang David Mitlin | 2022 | Carbon Energy2022,4,5: | 1 |
