| 1 | Cancer metabolism and tumor microenvironment:fostering each other?显示文摘The changes associated with malignancy are not only in cancer cells but also in environment in which cancer cells live.Metabolic reprogramming supports tumor cells’high demand of biogenesis for their rapid proliferation,and helps tumor cells to survive under certain genetic or environmental stresses.Emerging evidence suggests that metabolic alteration is ultimately and tightly associated with genetic changes,in particular the dysregulation of key oncogenic and tumor suppressive signaling pathways.Cancer cells activate HIF signaling even in the presence of oxygen and in the absence of growth factor stimulation.This cancer metabolic phenotype,described firstly by German physiologist Otto Warburg,ensures enhanced glycolytic metabolism for the biosynthesis of macromolecules.The conception of metabolite signaling,i.e.,metabolites are regulators of cell signaling,provides novel insights into how reactive oxygen species(ROS)and other metabolites deregulation may regulate redox homeostasis,epigenetics,and proliferation of cancer cells.Moreover,the unveiling of noncanonical functions of metabolic enzymes,such as the moonlighting functions of phosphoglycerate kinase 1(PGK1),reassures the importance of metabolism in cancer development.The metabolic,microRNAs,and ncRNAs alterations in cancer cells can be sorted and delivered either to intercellular matrix or to cancer adjacent cells to shape cancer microenvironment via media such as exosome.Among them,cancer microenvironmental cells are immune cells which exert profound effects on cancer cells.Understanding of all these processes is a prerequisite for the development of a more effective strategy to contain cancers. | Yiyuan Yuan Huimin Li Wang Pu Leilei Chen Dong Guo Hongfei Jiang Bo He Siyuan Qin Kui Wang Na Li Jingwei Feng Jing Wen Shipeng Cheng Yaguang Zhang Weiwei Yang Dan Ye Zhimin Lu Canhua Huang Jun Mei Hua-Feng Zhang Ping Gao Peng Jiang Shicheng Su Bing Sun Shi-Min Zhao | 2022 | Science China(Life Sciences)2022,65,2: | 5 |

The SHS reaction of Ni–Al–Zr interlayer was induced by laser beam and acted as local high-temperature heat source during the joining. Sound joint was obtained and verified the feasibility of this joining method. Effect of filler metals on the joint microstructure and shear strength was evaluated. | 3 | Reactive Inorganic Vapor Deposition of Perovskite Oxynitride Films for Solar Energy Conversion显示文摘The synthesis of perovskite oxynitrides,which are promising photoanode candidates for solar energy conversion,is normally accomplished by high-temperature ammonolysis of oxides and carbonate precursors,thus making the deposition of their planar films onto conductive substrates challenging.Here,we proposed a facile strategy to prepare a series of perovskite oxynitride films.Taking SrTaO_(2)N as a prototype,we prepared SrTaO_(2)N films on Ta foils under NH_(3) flow by utilizing the vaporized SrCl_(2)/SrCO_(3) eutectic salt.The SrTaO_(2)N films exhibit solar water-splitting photocurrents of 3.0 mA cm^(-2) at 1.23 V vs.RHE(reversible hydrogen electrode),which increases by 270%compared to the highest photocurrent(1.1 mA cm^(-2) at 1.23 V vs.RHE)of SrTaO_(2)N reported in the literature.This strategy may also be applied to directly prepare a series of perovskite oxynitride films on conductive substrates such as ATaO_(2)N(A=Ca,Ba)and ANbO_(2)N(A=Sr,Ba). | Tao Fang Huiting Huang Jianyong Feng Yingfei Hu Qinfeng Qian Shicheng Yan Zhentao Yu Zhaosheng Li Zhigang Zou | 2019 | Research2019,,1: | 2 |

| 9 | Local modulation of exc辻ons and trions in monolayer WS2 by carbon nanotubes显示文摘Mixed dimensional van der Waals(VdW)heterostructures constructed by one-dimensional(1D)and two-dimensional(2D)materials exhibit extra degree of freedom to modulate the electronic and optical properties due to the combination of difterent dimensionalities.The charge transfer at the intertace between 1D and 2D materials plays a crucial role in the optoelectronic properties and performance of the heterostructure-based devices.Here,we stacked single-walled carbon nanotubes(SWNTs)on monolayer WS2 for a mixed dimensional vdW heterostructure,and investigated the local modulation of excitions and trions in WS2 by SWNTs.Different directions of charge transfer between SWNTs and WSz are evidenced by the photoluminescence(PL)spectra of WS2.The PL intensity can be either enhanced or weakened by individual SWNTs.In our work,the PL intensity of WS2 is enhanced and the exciton peak position heterostructure is red-shifted about 3 meV due to the charge transfer from WS2 to an individual SWNT(SWNT#1).The change of PL by another SWNT(SWNT#2)can not be well-resolved in far fild,but scanning near field optical microscope(SNOM)measurements show that the PL intensity of WS2 is weakened by the SWNT.The peak position of exciton is blue-shifted by^1 meV while that of trion is redshifted by^1 meV due to the charge transfer from the SWNT to WS2,These results give insight into the charge transfer at the interface of SWNTWS2 heterostructure,and can be useful for design of optoelectronic devices based on mixed dimensional vdW heterostructures. | Rui Feng Shicheng Xu Weiming Liu Peng Gao Jin Zhang Lianming Tong | 2020 | Nano Research2020,13,7: | 0 |
| 10 | Activation of lineage competence in hemogenic endothelium precedes the formation of hematopoietic stem cell heterogeneity显示文摘Hematopoietic stem and progenitor cells (HSPCs) are considered as a heterogeneous population, but precisely when, where and how HSPC heterogeneity arises remain largely unclear. Here, using a combination of single-cell multi-omics, lineage tracing and functional assays, we show that embryonic HSPCs originate from heterogeneous hemogenic endothelial cells (HECs) during zebrafish embryogenesis. Integrated single-cell transcriptome and chromatin accessibility analysis demonstrates transcriptional heterogeneity and regulatory programs that prime lymphoid/myeloid fates at the HEC level. Importantly, spi^(2+) HECs give rise to lymphoid/myeloid-primed HSPCs (L/M-HSPCs) and display a stress-responsive function under acute inflammation. Moreover, we uncover that Spi2 is required for the formation of L/M-HSPCs through tightly controlling the endothelial-to-hematopoietic transition program. Finally, single-cell transcriptional comparison of zebrafish and human HECs and human induced pluripotent stem cell-based hematopoietic differentiation results support the evolutionary conservation of L/M-HECs and a conserved role of SPI1 (spi2 homolog in mammals) in humans. | 12 | Comparing COVID-19 Case Prediction Between ARIMA Model and Compartment Model—China,December 2019–April 2020显示文摘Introduction:To compare the performance between the compartment model and the autoregressive integrated moving average(ARIMA)model that were applied to the prediction of new infections during the coronavirus disease 2019(COVID-19)epidemic.Methods:The compartment model and the ARIMA model were established based on the daily cases of new infection reported in China from December 2,2019 to April 8,2020.The goodness of fit of the two models was compared using the coefficient of determination(R2).Results:The compartment model predicts that the number of new cases without a cordon sanitaire,i.e.,a restriction of mobility to prevent spread of disease,will increase exponentially over 10 days starting from January 23,2020,while the ARIMA model shows a linear increase.The calculated R2 of the two models without cordon sanitaire were 0.990 and 0.981.The prediction results of the ARIMA model after February 2,2020 have a large deviation.The R2 of complete transmission process fit of the epidemic for the 2 models were 0.964 and 0.933,respectively.Discussion:The two models fit well at different stages of the epidemic.The predictions of compartment model were more in line with highly contagious transmission characteristics of COVID-19.The accuracy of recent historical data had a large impact on the predictions of the ARIMA model as compared to those of the compartment model.&Joint first authors. | Bangguo Qi Nankun Liu Shicheng Yu Feng Tan | 2022 | China CDC weekly2022,4,52: | 0 |
