1Progressive Grey Matter Volume Changes in Patients with Schizophrenia over 6 Weeks of Antipsychotic Treatment and Their Relationship to Clinical Improvement显示文摘Cross-sectional and longitudinal studies have identified widespread and progressive grey matter volume(GMV) reductions in schizophrenia, especially in the frontal lobe. In this study, we found a progressive GMV decrease in the rostral medial frontal cortex(rMFC,including the anterior cingulate cortex) in the patient group during a 6-week follow-up of 40 patients with schizophrenia and 31 healthy controls well-matched for age, gender, and education. The higher baseline GMV in the rMFC predicted better improvement in the positive score on the Positive and Negative Syndrome Scale(PANSS), and this might be related to the improved reality-monitoring. Besides, a higher baseline GMV in the posterior rMFC predicted better remission of general symptoms, and a lesser GMV reduction in this region was correlated with better remission of negative symptoms,probably associated with ameliorated self-referential processing and social cognition. 2ZNF804A Variation May Affect Hippocampal-Prefrontal Resting-State Functional Connectivity in Schizophrenic and Healthy Individuals显示文摘The ZNF804 A variant rs1344706 has consistently been associated with schizophrenia and plays a role in hippocampal-prefrontal functional connectivity during working memory. Whether the effect exists in the resting state and in patients with schizophrenia remains unclear. In this study, we investigated the ZNF804 A polymorphism at rs1344706 in 92 schizophrenic patients and 99 healthy controls of Han Chinese descent, and used resting-state functional magnetic resonance imaging to explore the functional connectivity in the participants. We found a significant main effect of genotype on the resting-state functional connectivity(RSFC) between the hippocampus and the dorsolateral prefrontal cortex(DLPFC) in both schizophrenic patients and healthy controls. The homozygous ZNF804 A rs1344706 genotype(AA) conferred a high risk of schizophrenia, and also exhibited significantly decreased resting functional coupling between the left hippocampus and right DLPFC(F(2,165) = 13.43,P \ 0.001). The RSFC strength was also correlated with cognitive performance and the severity of psychosis in schizophrenia. 3Does Mood Affect the Efficiency of Credit Approval? 4Reflections and Practical Explorations of Rights in Street Design显示文摘Street is the public resource of the city. While the street design is seemingly a technical means for physical space, essentially it is the redistribution of urban space rights. This paper argues that street design should focus on the 'street right,' which can be divided into the right to pass and the right to stay, and it may as well be divided into permanent right and process right. Permanent right mainly includes property right and use right, and process right includes participation right and decision-making right. At present, there are many problems confronted by streets in China, such as uncoordinated division of property right between public and private parties, unfair spatial distribution neglecting the use right of slow traffic, less participation and no decision-making right for citizens during street design process, etc. Based on recent design practices in Shanghai, Xiamen, Shangyu, and several other cities, this paper explores strategies in terms of the coordination and integration of property right and space, fair distribution of street use right, and the public empowerment in street design.Ge Yan Liu Jinxin(译) Liang Sisi(校) 2019China City Planning Review2019,28,3:2

6STIM1 thermosensitivity defines the optimal preference temperature for warm sensation in mice显示文摘Mammals possess a remarkable ability to sense subtle temperature deviations from the thermoneutral skin temperature of -33 ℃, which ensures precise warm sensation.However,the underlying mechanisms remain unclear.Here we show that STIM1,an endoplasmic reticulum (ER)resident transmembrane protein that responds to both ER Ca^2- depletion and heat,mediates temperature-induced Ca^2+ influx in skin keratinocytes via coupling to Orai Ca^2+ channels in plasma membrane.Behaviorally,the keratinocyte-specific knockout of STIM1 shifts the optimal preference temperature (OPT)of mice from -32 ℃ to -34℃,resulting in a strikingly reversed preference between 32℃ and 34℃.Importantly,the thermally inactive STIM1-△K knock-in mice show altered OPT and warm preference behaviors as well,demonstrating the requirement of STIM1 thermosensitivity for warm sensation. 7Investigation and analysis of the biosafety awareness of laboratory staff involved in the detection of pathogens in seven provincial Centers for Disease Control and Prevention in China显示文摘This study aims to evaluate the biosafety awareness of laboratory staff working on pathogens detection in seven Centers for Disease Control and Prevention and support these staff's biosafety management and training.A total of 208 laboratory staff from seven provincial CDCs were chosen by stratified random sampling to undergo a self-administered questionnaire survey.The collected data were analyzed using SPSS 22.0.The overall average biosafety awareness of the CDC laboratory staff involved in pathogen detection was 82.5 points.The average biosafety awareness score was the highest in health monitoring(92.63 points)and the lowest in risk assessment and control(41.6 points).Among the seven provincial CDCs,the Guizhou Provincial Center for Disease Control and Prevention laboratory staff showed the lowest average biosafety awareness score(74.3 points).The team who worked for 5–14 years were more likely to score above the passing score(≥88 points;corrected OR 0.400,95%CI:0.168–0.951)than the staff with less than five years of work experience.In addition,the mid-level and junior-level staff,as well as the lower position ones were more likely to score below the passing score(<88 points;junior level and lower:corrected OR 3.473,95%CI:1.028–11.737;mid-level:corrected OR 2.797,95%CI:1.027–7.618)compared with the senior-level staff.Among the surveyed team,66.3%identified a lack of specific funds related to work,61.5%identified a lack of designated personnel for the laboratory biosafety management.The biosafety awareness in CDC laboratory staff involved in pathogen detection is low,especially regarding risk assessment and control.The biosafety awareness in Guizhou and Guangxi Provincial CDC laboratory staff is also low.Laboratory funding,job title,and years of experience in a laboratory influence biosafety awareness in CDC laboratory staff.The biosafety knowledge,education,and training of CDC laboratory staff involved in pathogen detection need to improve by paying attention to the content and coverage of biosafety training,exploring new training modalities,and increasing funding for activities related to biosafety in CDC.Yan Liu Yuanyuan Guo Sisi Li Bo Liu Jing Wen Chihong Zhao 2021Biosafety and Health2021,3,4:1
8Preclinical characterization and comparison between CD3/CD19 bispecific and novel CD3/CD19/CD20 trispecific antibodies against B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia:targeted immunotherapy for acute lymphoblastic leukemia显示文摘The CD19-targeting bispecific T-cell engager blinatumomab has shown remarkable efficacy in patients with relapsed/refractory B-cell precursor acute lymphoblastic leukemia.However,several studies showed that blinatumomab has a short plasma half-life due to its low molecular weight,and thus its clinical use is limited.Furthermore,multiple trials have shown that approximately 30%of blinatumomab-relapsed cases are characterized by CD19 negative leukemic cells.Here,we design and characterize two novel antibodies,A-319 and A-2019.Blinatumomab and A-319 are CD3/CD19 bispecific antibodies with different molecular sizes and structures,and A-2019 is a novel CD3/CD19/CD20 trispecific antibody with an additional anti-CD20 function.Our in vitro,ex vivo,and in vivo experiments demonstrated that A-319 and A-2019 are potent antitumor agents and capable of recruiting CD3 positive T cells,enhancing T-cell function,mediating B-cell depletion,and eventually inhibiting tumor growth in Raji xenograft models.The two molecules are complementary in terms of efficacy and specificity profile.The activity of A-319 demonstrated superior to that of A-2019,whereas A-2019 has an additional capability to target CD20 in cells missing CD19,suggesting its potential function against CD19 weak or negative CD20 positive leukemic cells.Sisi Wang Lijun Peng Wenqian Xu Yuebo Zhou Ziyan Zhu Yushan Kong Stewart Leung Jin Wang Xiaoqiang Yan Jian-Qing Mi 2022Frontiers of Medicine2022,16,1:1
9Cloth simulation-based construction of pitfree canopy height models from airborne LiDAR data显示文摘Background:The universal occurrence of randomly distributed dark holes(i.e.,data pits appearing within the tree crown)in LiDAR-derived canopy height models(CHMs)negatively affects the accuracy of extracted forest inventory parameters.Methods:We develop an algorithm based on cloth simulation for constructing a pit-free CHM.Results:The proposed algorithm effectively fills data pits of various sizes whilst preserving canopy details.Our pitfree CHMs derived from point clouds at different proportions of data pits are remarkably better than those constructed using other algorithms,as evidenced by the lowest average root mean square error(0.4981 m)between the reference CHMs and the constructed pit-free CHMs.Moreover,our pit-free CHMs show the best performance overall in terms of maximum tree height estimation(average bias=0.9674 m).Conclusion:The proposed algorithm can be adopted when working with different quality LiDAR data and shows high potential in forestry applications.Wuming Zhang Shangshu Cai Xinlian Liang Jie Shao Ronghai Hu Sisi Yu Guangjian Yan 2020Forest Ecosystems2020,7,1:1

13Governance of Urban Green Open Space for Responding to Climate Change显示文摘In the global actions to address climate change, urban open green space is one of the main spatial objects that can be used to effectively mitigate greenhouse gases and to promote the implementation of climate adaptive policies. From a global perspective, this paper firstly analyzes the governance strategies and cooperation mechanisms of urban open green space as responding to climate change in European countries. Then, taking the Central City of Beijing as a case, the paper explores its urban thermal environment, distribution of urban open green space, and climate governance operation based on the specific conditions in China. 14Altering the rate-determining step over cobalt single clusters leading to highly efficient ammonia synthesis显示文摘Activation of high-energy triple-bonds of N2 is the most significant bottleneck of ammonia synthesis under ambient conditions.Here,by importing cobalt single clusters as strong electron-donating promoter into the catalyst,the rate-determining step of ammonia synthesis is altered to the subsequent proton addition so that the barrier of N2 dissociation can be successfully overcome.As revealed by density functional theory calculations,the N2 dissociation becomes exothermic over the cobalt single cluster upon the strong electron backdonation from metal to the N2 antibonding orbitals.The energy barrier of the positively shifted rate-determining step is also greatly reduced.At the same time,advanced sampling molecular dynamics simulations indicate a barrier-less process of the N2 approaching the active sites that greatly facilitates the mass transfer.With suitable thermodynamic and dynamic property,a high ammonia yield rate of 76.2μg h–1 mgcat–1.and superior Faradaic efficiency of 52.9%were simultaneously achieved.Sisi Liu Mengfan Wang Haoqing Ji Xiaowei Shen Chenglin Yan Tao Qian 2021National Science Review2021,8,5:1
15A Triode-like Enzyme-free Catalytic Circuit with Junction Fuel显示文摘Target detection circuits have been previously designed,which are propelled by conventional PCR,isothermal amplification and strand-displacement reaction.These detection circuits obtain the target signal via the replication of the target strand,the aggregation of the signal particles or the branch migration.Here we constructed a tri-ode-like enzyme-free catalyst strand-displacement circuit for target DNA detection.The target strand triggered die reaction and released the fluorescence signal strand circularly through branch migration.However,the main challenge of strand-displacement reaction is the signal leakage.Therefore,we designed a double strand structure'junction fuel',which was used to increase the binding energy across the displacement process.Ultimately,the leakage of the system obtained stable inhabitation due to the junction fuel strand.The limit of detection of the system was as low as 0.11 nmol/L and the gain of the system was as high as 28-fold(the concentration of target was 50 nmol/L).Furthermore,the process of the system was visualized vividly in the reaction curve through the kinetic simulation implemented,which suggests that the combination of the kinetic simulation and the experiment exhibits a promising prospect towards the use of strand-displacement circuit in analytical,diagnostic application and synthetic biology.LUO Tao WANG Xiaojing FAN Sisi LIU Yan CHENG Jin TANG Linlin SONG Jie 2020Chemical Research in Chinese Universities2020,36,2:0

17Improving the estimation of canopy cover from UAV-LiDAR data using a pit-free CHM-based method显示文摘Accurate and rapid estimation of canopy cover(CC)is crucial for many ecological and environmental models and for forest management.Unmanned aerial vehicle-light detecting and ranging(UAV-LiDAR)systems represent a promising tool for CC estimation due to their high mobility,low cost,and high point density.However,the CC values from UAV-LiDAR point clouds may be underestimated due to the presence of large quantities of within-crown gaps.To alleviate the negative effects of within-crown gaps,we proposed a pit-free CHM-based method for estimating CC,in which a cloth simulation method was used to fill the within-crown gaps.To evaluate the effect of CC values and withincrown gap proportions on the proposed method,the performance of the proposed method was tested on 18 samples with different CC values(40−70%)and 6 samples with different within-crown gap proportions(10−60%).The results showed that the CC accuracy of the proposed method was higher than that of the method without filling within-crown gaps(R^(2)=0.99 vs 0.98;RMSE=1.49%vs 2.2%).The proposed method was insensitive to within-crown gap proportions,although the CC accuracy decreased slightly with the increase in withincrown gap proportions.Shangshu Cai Wuming Zhang Shuangna Jin Jie Shao Linyuan Li Sisi Yu Guangjian Yan 2021International Journal of Digital Earth2021,14,10:0
18Li^(+)-ion bound crown ether functionalization enables dual promotion of dynamics and thermodynamics for ambient ammonia synthesis显示文摘Electrosynthesis of ammonia from the reduction of nitrogen is still confronted with the limited supply of gas reactant in dynamics as well as high activation barrier in thermodynamics.Unfortunately,despite tremendous efforts devoted to electrocatalysts themselves,they still fail to tackle the above two challenges simultaneously.Herein,we employ a heterogeneous catalyst adlayer-composed of crown ethers associated with Li^(+)ions-to achieve the dual promotion of dynamics and thermodynamics for ambient ammonia synthesis.Dynamically,the bound Li^(+)ions interact with the strong quadrupole moment of nitrogen,and trigger considerable reactant flux toward the catalyst.Thermodynamically,Li^(+)associated with the oxygen of crown ether achieves a higher density of states at the Fermi level for the catalyst,enabling effortless electron transfer from the catalysts to nitrogen and thus greatly reducing the activation barrier.As expected,the proof-of-concept system achieves an ammonia yield rate of 168.5μg h^(-1)mg^(-1)and a Faradaic efficiency of 75.3%at-0.3 V vs.RHE.This system-level approach opens up pathways for tackling the two key challenges that have limited the field of ammonia synthesis.Qiyang Cheng Sisi Liu Mengfan Wang Lifang Zhang Yanzheng He Jiajie Ni Jingru Zhang Chengwei Deng Yi Sun Tao Qian Chenglin Yan 2023Journal of Energy Chemistry2023,,10:0
19Visual reconstruction of flexible structure based on fiber grating sensor array and extreme learning machine algorithm显示文摘A visual reconstruction method was proposed based on fiber Bragg grating(FBG)sensors and an intelligent algorithm,aiming to solve the problems of low accuracy and complex reconstruction process in conventional reconstruction methods of flexible structures.Firstly,the wavelength data containing structural strain information was captured by FBG sensors,together with deformation displacement information.Subsequently,a predicted model was built based on an extreme learning machine(ELM)and further optimized by the particle swarm optimization(PSO)algorithm.Different deformation patterns were tested on an aluminum alloy plate,indicating the ability of the predicted model to produce the deformation displacement for reconstruction.The experimental results show that the maximum error can be as low as 0.050 mm,which verifies that the proposed method is feasible and satisfied with the deformation monitoring of the spacecraft structure.ZHANG Sisi YAN Jie JIANG Mingshun SUI Qingmei ZHANG Lei LUO Yuxiang 2022Optoelectronics Letters2022,18,7:0
20Eliminating nitrogen chemisorption barrier with single-atom supported yttrium cluster via electronic promoting effect for highly efficient ammonia synthesis显示文摘Nitrogen chemisorption is a prerequisite for efficient ammonia synthesis under ambient conditions,but promoting this process remains a significant challenge.Here,by loading yttrium clusters onto a single-atom support,an electronic promoting effect is triggered to successfully eliminate the nitrogen chemisorption barrier and achieve highly efficient ammonia synthesis.Density functional theory calculations reveal that yttrium clusters with abundant electron orbitals can provide considerable electrons and greatly promote electron backdonation to the N2 antibonding orbitals,making the chemisorption process exothermic.Moreover,according to the“hot atom”mechanism,the energy released during exothermic N2 chemisorption would benefit subsequent N2 cleavage and hydrogenation,thereby dramatically reducing the energy barrier of the overall process.As expected,the proof-of-concept catalyst achieves a prominent NH3 yield rate of 48.1μg·h^(−1)·mg^(−1)at−0.2 V versus the reversible hydrogen electrode,with a Faradaic efficiency of up to 69.7%.This strategy overcomes one of the most serious obstacles for electrochemical ammonia synthesis,and provides a promising method for the development of catalysts with high catalytic activity and selectivity.Yuzhuo Jiang Mengfan Wang Sisi Liu Lifang Zhang Siyi Qian Yufeng Cao Yu Cheng Tao Qian Chenglin Yan 2023Nano Research2023,16,2:0
