2Chinmedomics facilitated quality-marker discovery of Sijunzi decoction to treat spleen qi deficiency syndrome显示文摘Sijunzi decoction (SJZD) is a Chinese classical formula to treat spleen qi deficiency syndrome (SQDS) and has been widely used for thousands of years.However,the quality control (QC) standards of SJZD are insufficient.Chinmedomics has been designed to discover and verify bioactive compounds of a variety of formularapidly.In this study,we used Chinmedomics to evaluate the SJZD's efficacy against SQDS to discover the potential quality-markers (q-markers) for QC.A total of 56 compounds in SJZD were characterized in vitro,and 23 compounds were discovered in vivo.A total of 58 biomarkers were related to SQDS,and SJZD can adjust a large proportion of marker metabolites to normal level and then regulate the metabolic profile to the health status.A total of 10 constituents were absorbed as effective ingredients that were associated with overall efficacy.We preliminarily determined malonyl-ginsenoside Rb2 and ginsenoside Ro as the q-markers of ginseng;dehydrotumulosic acid and dihydroxy lanostene-triene-21-acid as the q-markers of poria;glycyrrhizic acid,isoglabrolide,and glycyrrhetnic acid as the q-markers of licorice;and 2-atractylenolide as the q-marker of macrocephala.According to the discovery of the SJZD q-markers,we can establish the quality standard that is related to efficacy.Qiqi Zhao Xin Gao Guangli Yan Aihua Zhang Hui Sun Ying Han Wenxiu Li Liang Liu Xijun Wang 2020Frontiers of Medicine2020,14,3:7

4Anatomical variations of living and fossil Liquidambar leaves:A proxy for paleoenvironmental reconstruction显示文摘Based on living L.formosana,we have established that such epidermal cell properties as epidermal cell circumference(Circum.) ,undulation index(UI) ,epidermal cell area(EA) on both upper and lower epidermis and the corresponding epidermal cell density(ED) ,are suitable to differentiate between sun and shade leaves.Also,stomatal properties on the lower epidermis,including stomatal length(SL) ,stomatal pore length(PL) and the corresponding stomatal density(SD) ,are reliable parameters to identify sun/shade morphotypes.Then this anatomical approach was applied to 18 leaf remains of L.miosinica from the Miocene Xiannanshan Formation,Zhejiang Province(eastern China) ,and the fossil leaves were sorted into two groups,namely,sun and shade morphotypes.It indicates that anatomical differences between sun and shade leaves found in living species could be used for fossil leaves.Notably,the variation of UI between sun and shade morphotypes is larger on the upper epidermis as compared with the lower epidermis,showing that the UI on the upper epidermis is more sensitive to environmental changes.In addition,anatomical features are more variable in sun leaves than in shade leaves for both modern and fossil Liquidambar,suggesting sun leaves may be more sensitive to environmental changes.Sun leaves can then be a better indicator of paleoenvironmental change.Thus,stomatal parameters of sun morphotype should be adopted on reconstructing paleoenvironments using Liquidambar leaf remains.On the other hand,the three-lobed fossil L.miosinica leaf assemblage in the Xiananshan Formation is represented by an almost similar percentage of sun and shade morphotypes(56%and 44%,respectively) ,which is attributed to the short transport before deposition.As a result,identifying sun/shade morphotypes are very useful in reconstructing paleoenvironments based on fossil leaves of Liquidambar.XIAO Liang SUN BaiNian LI XiangChuan REN WenXiu JIA Hui 2011Science China Earth Sciences2011,54,4:4

6Ameliorating the interfacial issues of all-solid-state lithium metal batteries by constructing polymer/inorganic composite electrolyte显示文摘Lithium metal is one of the most promising anodes for next-generation batteries due to its high capacity and low reduction potential.However,the notorious Li dendrites can cause the short life span and safety issues,hindering the extensive application of lithium batteries.Herein,Li_(7)La_(3)Zr_(2)O_(12)(LLZO)ceramics are integrated into polyethylene oxide(PEO)to construct a facile polymer/inorganic composite solid-state electrolyte(CSSE)to inhibit the growth of Li dendrites and widen the electrochemical stability window.Given the feasibility of our strategy,the designed PEO-LLZO-LiTFSI composite solid-state electrolyte(PLLCSSE)exhibits an outstanding cycling property of 134.2 mAh g^(-1) after 500 cycles and the Coulombic efficiency of 99.1%after 1000 cycles at 1 C in LiFePO_(4)-Li cell.When cooperated with LiNi_(0.6)Co_(0.2)Mn_(0.2)O_(2)(NCM622)cathode,the PLL-CSSE renders a capacity retention of 82.4%after 200 cycles at 0.2 C.More importantly,the uniform dispersion of LLZO in PEO matrix is tentative tested via Raman and FT-IR spectra and should be responsible for the improved electrochemical performance.The same conclusion can be drawn from the interface investigation after cycling.This work presents an intriguing solid-state electrolyte with high electrochemical performance,which will boost the development of all-solid-state lithium batteries with high energy density.Su Wang Qifang Sun Wenxiu Peng Yue Ma Ying Zhou Dawei Song Hongzhou Zhang Xixi Shi Chunliang Li Lianqi Zhang 2021Journal of Energy Chemistry2021,30,7:2
7Heat and hyposmotic stimulation increase in [Ca^(2+)]_i by Ca^(2+) influx in rat synoviocytes显示文摘Rheumatoid arthritis(RA),which is marked by inflammatory synovitis,is a common,chronic autoim-mune-disease,whose pathogenesis is complex and still unclear.In order to explore the effects of heat and hyposmotic stimuli on synoviocytes in rheumatoid arthritis,the changes of [Ca2+]i induced by heat,hyposmotic and 4α-PDD stimuli were observed in synoviocytes.[Ca2+]i elevation induced by heat ≥ 28℃,hyposmotic and 4α-PDD stimuli is found to be positively relative to increasing temperature,decreasing osmolality and rising concentration of 4α-PDD.Results show that there is reciprocity among these stimuli and desensitization,and that [Ca2+]i elevation depends on Ca2+ influx,but not necessarily links to Ca2+ release from intracellular stores and voltage-dependent Ca2+ channel in synoviocytes.The above characteristics of Ca2+ influx are similar to those of TRPV4.A probable mechanism has been suggested that heat and hyposmotic stimulation might increase the level of [Ca2+]i by activating the TRPV4-like channel and Ca2+ influx in the synoviocytes.SUN WenWu HU Fen YANG WenXiu 2008Chinese Science Bulletin2008,53,4:2

16Rapid and non-destructive decay detection of Yali pears using hyperspectral imaging coupled with 2D correlation spectroscopy显示文摘The black spot disease caused by Alternaria alternata on Yali pears is a great concern as it compromises their edible quality and commercial value.To realize rapid and non-destructive classification of this disease,hyperspectral imaging(HSI)technology was combined with two-dimensional correlation spectroscopy(2DCOS)analysis.A total of 150 pear samples at different decay grades were prepared.After obtaining the HSI images,the whole sample was demarcated as the region of interest,and the spectral information was extracted.Seven preprocessing methods were applied and compared to build the classification models.Thereafter,using the inoculation day as an external perturbation,2DCOS was used to select the feature-related wavebands for black spot disease identification,and the result was compared to those obtained using competitive adaptive reweighting sampling and the successive projections algorithm.Results demonstrated that the simplified least squares support vector model based on 2DCOS-identified feature wavebands yielded the best performance with the identification accuracy,precision,sensitivity,and specificity of 97.30%,94.60%,96.16%,and 98.21%,respectively.Therefore,2DCOS can effectively interpret the feature-related wavebands,and its combination with HSI is an effective tool to predict black spot disease on Yali pears.Yufan Zhang Wenxiu Wang Fan Zhang Qianyun Ma Shuang Gao Jie Wang Jianfeng Sun Yuanyuan Liu 2022International Journal of Agricultural and Biological Engineering2022,15,5:0

19Atomically Precise Pd Species Accelerating CO_(2) Hydrodeoxygenation into CH_(4) with 100%Selectivity显示文摘High-rate CO_(2)-to-CH_(4)photoreduction with high selectivity is highly attractive,which is a win-win strategy for mitigating the greenhouse effect and the energy crisis.However,the poor photocatalytic activity and low product selectivity hinder the practical application.To precisely tailor the product selectivity and realize high-rate CO_(2)photoreduction,we design atomically precise Pd species supported on In_(2)O_(3)nanosheets.Taking the synthetic 1.30Pd/In_(2)O_(3)nanosheets as an example,the aberration-correction high-angle annular dark-field scanning transmission electron microscopy image displayed the Pd species atomically dispersed on the In_(2)O_(3)nanosheets.Raman spectra and X-ray photoelectron spectra established that the strong interaction between the Pd species and the In_(2)O_(3)substrate drove electron transfer from In to Pd species,resulting in electron-enriched Pd sites for CO_(2)activation.Synchrotronradiation photoemission spectroscopy demonstrated that the Pd species can tailor the conduction band edge of In_(2)O_(3)nanosheets to match the CO_(2)-to-CH_(4)pathway,instead of the CO_(2)-to-CO pathway,which theoretically accounts for the high CH_(4)selectivity.Moreover,in situ X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy unveiled that the catalytically active sites had a change from In species to Pd species over the 1.30Pd/In_(2)O_(3)nanosheets.In situ FTIR and EPR spectra reveal the atomically precise Pd species with rich electrons prefer to adsorb the electrophilic protons for accelerating the*COOH intermediates hydrogenation into CH_(4).Consequently,the 1.30Pd/In_(2)O_(3)nanosheets reached CO_(2)-to-CH_(4)photoconversion with 100%selectivity and 81.2μmol g^(−1)h^(−1)productivity.Kai Zheng Siying Liu Bangwang Li Juncheng Zhu Xiaojing Zhang Mingyu Wu Li Li Shan Zhu Wenxiu Liu Jun Hu Chengyuan Liu Minghui Fan Ming Zuo Junfa Zhu Yang Pan Yongfu Sun Yi Xie 2023Precision Chemistry2023,1,9:0
20X-ray Diffraction Line Profile Broadening of Fe_(50)Pd_(50) Alloy Ultrafine Particles显示文摘The composition distribution in Fe50Pd50 alloy ultrafine particles prepared by inert gas condensation method was investigated in details by means of X-ray diffraction technique through deconvolution of the X-ray diffraction data. The microscopic composition distribution in the alloy UFP was identified, which is caused by nonuniformity of the melt, fractional distillation during the evaporation process and statistical fluctuation during nucleation and coalescence of the alloy particles.
