1A bi-directional gap model for simulating the directional thermal radiance of row crops显示文摘Row crops are a kind of typical vegetation canopy between discrete canopy and continuous canopy. Kimes et al. studied the directional thermal radiation of row crops using the geometrical optical model, which simplified row structure as 'box' and neglected the gap among foliage and did not consider the emissivity effects. In this work we take account of the gaps along illumination and viewing directions and propose a bi-direction gap model on the basis of the idea of gap probability of discrete vegetation canopy introduced by 'Li-Strahler' and inter-correlation of continuous vegetation developed by Kuusk. It can be used to explain 'hot spot' effects in thermal infrared region. 2Comparison of Clinical and Epidemiological Characteristics of Asymptomatic and Symptomatic SARS-CoV-2 Infection in Children显示文摘To understand the epidemiological and clinical features of the symptomatic and asymptomatic pediatric cases of COVID-19,we carried out a prospective study in Shanghai during the period of January 19 to April 30,2020.A total of 49 children(mean age 11.5±5.12 years)confirmed with SARS-CoV-2 infection were enrolled in the study,including 11(22.4%)domestic cases and 38(77.6%)imported cases.Nine(81.8%)local cases and 12(31.6%)imported cases had a definitive epidemiological exposure.Twenty-eight(57.1%)were symptomatic and 21(42.9%)were asymptomatic.Neither asymptomatic nor symptomatic cases progressed to severe diseases.The mean duration of viral shedding for SARS-CoV-2 in upper respiratory tract was 14.1±6.4 days in asymptomatic cases and 14.8±8.4 days in symptomatic cases(P>0.05).Forty-five(91.8%)cases had viral RNA detected in stool.The mean duration of viral shedding in stool was 28.1±13.3 days in asymptomatic cases and 30.8±18.6 days in symptomatic participants(P>0.05).Children<7 years shed viral RNA in stool for a longer duration than school-aged children(P<0.05).Forty-three(87.8%)cases had seropositivity for antibodies against SARS-CoV-2 within 1–3 weeks after confirmation with infection.In conclusion,asymptomatic SARS-CoV-2 infection may be common in children in the community during the COVID-19 pandemic wave.Asymptomatic cases shed viral RNA in a similar pattern as symptomatic cases do.It is of particular concern that asymptomatic individuals are potentially seed transmission of SARS-CoV-2 and pose a challenge to disease control.Jiehao Cai Xiangshi Wang Jun Zhao Yanling Ge Jin Xu He Tian Hailing Chang Aimei Xia Jiali Wang Jinqiang Zhang Zhongqiu Wei Jingjing Li Chuning Wang Jianshe Wang Qirong Zhu Xiaowen Zhai Mei Zeng 2020Virologica Sinica2020,35,6:4
3Dynamic Clustering of Coordinated Multi-point Transmission Based on Friends Algorithm显示文摘Coordinated multi-point(Co MP) transmission has been regarded as a fascinating technology for4 G wireless communication systems. In this paper, the Co MP dynamic clustering problem is studied, a Friends algorithm(F-A) is proposed based on the procedure of making friends in human society, and then a dynamic clustering scheme is proposed based on F-A. The mutual interference among cells of the network is considerate in this algorithm, which can be obtained by CSI feedback.Compared to Traversal search(T-S) algorithm, the proposed algorithm has lower computational complexity, and the performance is almost equal. 14Quantitative Estimation on Methane Storage Capacity of Organic-Rich Shales from the Lower Silurian Longmaxi Formation in the Eastern Sichuan Basin, China显示文摘The assessment of gas storage capacity is crucial to furthering shale gas exploration and development in the eastern Sichuan Basin,China.Eleven organic-rich shale samples were selected to carry out the high pressure methane sorption,low-pressure N_(2)/CO_(2) gas adsorption,and bulk and skeletal density measurements to investigate the methane storage capacity(MSC).Based on the relative content of clay,carbonates,quartz+feldspar,we grouped the 11 samples into three lithofacies:silica-rich argillaceous shale(CM-1),argillaceous/siliceous mixed shale(M-2),and clay-rich siliceous shale(S-3).The total porosity of the shale samples varies from 3.4% to 5.6%,and gas saturation ranges from 47% to 89%.The measured total gas amount ranges from 1.84 mg/g to 4.22 mg/g with the ratio of free gas to total gas amount ranging from 52.7% to 70.8%.Free gas with high content in the eastern Sichuan Basin may be the key factor controlling amount of shale gas production.The TOC content critically controls the MSC of shales,because micropore,mesopore volumes and the specific surface areas associated with organic matter provide the storage sites for the free and adsorbed gas.The methane sorption capacities of samples from different lithofacies are also affected by clay minerals and moisture content.Clay minerals can provide additional surface areas for methane sorption,and water can cause a 7.1%-42.8% loss of methane sorption capacity.The total porosity,gas-bearing porosity,water saturation,free gas and adsorbed gas number of samples from different lithofacies show subtle differences if the shale samples had similar TOC contents.Our results suggest that,in the eastern Sichuan Basin,clay-rich shale lithofacies is also prospecting targets for shale gas production.Xiaowen Guo Tao Luo Tian Dong Rui Yang Yuanjia Han Jizheng Yi Sheng He Zhiguo Shu Hanyong Bao 2023Journal of Earth Science2023,34,6:0
15Venous thromboembolism in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia in China:a report from the Chinese Children’s Cancer Group-ALL-2015显示文摘Venous thromboembolism(VTE)is a complication in children with acute lymphoblastic leukemia(ALL).The Chinese Children’s Cancer Group-ALL-2015 protocol was carried out in China,and epidemiology,clinical characteristics,and risk factors associated with VTE were analyzed.We collected data on VTE in a multiinstitutional clinical study of 7640 patients with ALL diagnosed in 20 hospitals from January 2015 to December 2019.First,VTE occurred in 159(2.08%)patients,including 90(56.6%)during induction therapy and 108(67.92%)in the upper extremities.T-ALL had a 1.74-fold increased risk of VTE(95%CI 1.08–2.8,P=0.022).Septicemia,as an adverse event of ALL treatment,can significantly promote the occurrence of VTE(P<0.001).Catheter-related thrombosis(CRT)accounted for 75.47%(n=120);and,symptomatic VTE,58.49%(n=93),which was more common in patients aged 12–18 years(P=0.023),non-CRT patients(P<0.001),or patients with cerebral thrombosis(P<0.001).Of the patients with VTE treated with anticoagulation therapy(n=147),4.08%(n=6)had bleeding.The VTE recurrence rate was 5.03%(n=8).Patients with VTE treated by non-ultrasoundguided venous cannulation(P=0.02),with residual thrombus(P=0.006),or with short anticoagulation period(P=0.026)had high recurrence rates.Thus,preventing repeated venous puncture and appropriately prolonged anticoagulation time can reduce the risk of VTE recurrence.Mengmeng Yin Hongsheng Wang Xianmin Guan Ju Gao Minghua Yang Ningling Wang Tianfeng Liu Jingyan Tang Alex WK Leung Fen Zhou Xuedong Wu Jie Huang Hong Li Shaoyan Hu Xin Tian Hua Jiang Jiaoyang Cai Xiaowen Zhai Shuhong Shen Qun Hu 2023Frontiers of Medicine2023,17,3:0
16Mechanism of activation and biased signaling in complement receptor C5aR1显示文摘The complement system plays an important role in the innate immune response to invading pathogens.The complement fragment C5a is one of its important effector components and exerts diverse physiological functions through activation of the C5a receptor 1(C5aR1)and associated downstream G protein andβ-arrestin signaling pathways.Dysfunction of the C5a-C5aR1 axis is linked to numerous inflammatory and immune-mediated diseases,but the structural basis for activation and biased signaling of C5aR1 remains elusive.Here,we present cryo-electron microscopy structures of the activated wild-type C5aR1–Gi protein complex bound to each of the following:C5a,the hexapeptidic agonist C5apep,and the G protein-biased agonist BM213.The structures reveal the landscape of the C5a–C5aR1 interaction as well as a common motif for the recognition of diverse orthosteric ligands.Moreover,combined with mutagenesis studies and cell-based pharmacological assays,we deciphered a framework for biased signaling using different peptide analogs and provided insight into the activation mechanism of C5aR1 by solving the structure of C5aR1I116A mutant–Gi signaling activation complex induced by C089,which exerts antagonism on wild-type C5aR1.In addition,unusual conformational changes in the intracellular end of transmembrane domain 7 and helix 8 upon agonist binding suggest a differential signal transduction process.Collectively,our study provides mechanistic understanding into the ligand recognition,biased signaling modulation,activation,and Gi protein coupling of C5aR1,which may facilitate the future design of therapeutic agents.Yuying Feng Chang Zhao Yue Deng Heli Wang Liang Ma Sicen Liu Xiaowen Tian Bo Wang Yan Bin Peipei Chen Wei Yan Ping Fu Zhenhua Shao 2023Cell Research2023,33,4:0

18Exosome/metformin-loaded self-healing conductive hydrogel rescues microvascular dysfunction and promotes chronic diabetic wound healing by inhibiting mitochondrial fission显示文摘Chronic diabetic wounds remain a globally recognized clinical challenge.They occur due to high concentrations of reactive oxygen species and vascular function disorders.A promising strategy for diabetic wound healing is the delivery of exosomes,comprising bioactive dressings.Metformin activates the vascular endothelial growth factor pathway,thereby improving angiogenesis in hyperglycemic states.However,multifunctional hydrogels loaded with drugs and bioactive substances synergistically promote wound repair has been rarely reported,and the mechanism of their combinatorial effect of exosome and metformin in wound healing remains unclear.Here,we engineered dual-loaded hydrogels possessing tissue adhesive,antioxidant,self-healing and electrical conductivity properties,wherein 4-armed SH-PEG cross-links with Ag^(+),which minimizes damage to the loaded goods and investigated their mechanism of promotion effect for wound repair.Multiwalled carbon nanotubes exhibiting good conductivity were also incorporated into the hydrogels to generate hydrogen bonds with the thiol group,creating a stable three-dimensional structure for exosome and metformin loading.The diabetic wound model of the present study suggests that the PEG/Ag/CNT-M+E hydrogel promotes wound healing by triggering cell proliferation and angiogenesis and relieving peritraumatic inflammation and vascular injury.The mechanism of the dual-loaded hydrogel involves reducing the level of reactive oxygen species by interfering with mitochondrial fission,thereby protecting F-actin homeostasis and alleviating microvascular dysfunction.Hence,we propose a drug-bioactive substance combination therapy and provide a potential mechanism for developing vascular function-associated strategies for treating chronic diabetic wounds.Yue Zhang Meng Li Yunchuan Wang Fei Han Kuo Shen Liang Luo Yan Li Yanhui Jia Jian Zhang Weixia Cai Kejia Wang Ming Zhao Jing Wang Xiaowen Gao Chenyang Tian Baolin Guo Dahai Hu 2023Bioactive Materials2023,,8:0
