| 1 | High-performance quasi-2D perovskite light-emitting diodes: from materials to devices显示文摘Quasi-two-dimensional(quasi-2D)perovskites have attracted extraordinary attention due to their superior semiconducting properties and have emerged as one of the most promising materials for next-generation lightemitting diodes(LEDs).The outstanding optical properties originate from their structural characteristics.In particular,the inherent quantum-well structure endows them with a large exciton binding energy due to the strong dielectricand quantum-confinement effects;the corresponding energy transfer among different n-value species thus results in high photoluminescence quantum yields(PLQYs),particularly at low excitation intensities.The review herein presents an overview of the inherent properties of quasi-2D perovskite materials,the corresponding energy transfer and spectral tunability methodologies for thin films,as well as their application in high-performance LEDs.We then summarize the challenges and potential research directions towards developing high-performance and stable quasi-2D PeLEDs.The review thus provides a systematic and timely summary for the community to deepen the understanding of quasi-2D perovskite materials and resulting LED devices. | Li Zhang Changjiu Sun Tingwei He Yuanzhi Jiang Junli Wei Yanmin Huang Mingjian Yuan | 2021 | Light(Science & Applications)2021,10,4: | 5 |
| 2 | Wolbachia enhances expression of NICYP4CE1 in Nilaparvata lugens in response to imidacloprid stress显示文摘The brown planthopper,Nilaparvata lugens,is one of the main insect pests of rice.The N.lugens gene NICYP4CE1 encodes cytochrome P450 monooxygenase(P450),which is a key enzyme in the metabolism of the insecticide imidacloprid.Previous research has suggested that the expression of NICYP4CEI is induced by imidacloprid stress,but the effect of bacterial symbionts on its expression has not been determined.The results of this study show that exposure to subtoxic imidacloprid changed the structure of the bacterial symbiont community in N.lugens.Specifically,the total bacterial content increased but the bacterial species diversity significantly decreased.Wolbachia accounted for the largest proportion of bacteria in N.lugens;its abundance significantly increased after subtoxic imidacloprid exposure.The transcript level of NICYP4CEI was significantly increased by imidacloprid,but this effect was significantly weakened after Wolbachia was cleared with tetracycline.This result suggests that Wolbachia enhances the expression of N1CYP4CE1 to promote the detoxification metabolic response to imidacloprid stress.Understanding the effect of bacterial symbionts on gene expression in the host provides a new perspective on interactions between insecticides and their target insect pests,and highlights that subtoxic imidacloprid exposure may raise the risk of insecticide resistance by altering the structure of bacterial symbiont communities. | Tingwei Cai Yunhua Zhang Yu Liu Xiaoqian Deng Shun He Jianhong Li Hu Wan | 2021 | Insect Science2021,28,2: | 4 |

| 4 | Community Characteristics and Species Diversity of Wetland Plants in the Yangguan Nature Reserve of Dunhuang显示文摘As a typical inland wetland, Yangguan nature reserve wetland in Dunhuang is one of the important stops of migratory route for birds, which is vulnerable and particular. Study on the community characteristics and species diversity of wetland has great signifi cance for biodiversity protection. Based on the fi eld investigation, the fl oristic composition, geographical elements and species diversity of wetland plants were studied in Yangguan reserve of Dunhuang. The results showed that 26 families, 56 genera and 74 species were recorded in the study area. The largest families were the Gramineae and Chenopodiaceae, accounting for 29.73% of the total. Herbs were the most abundant life-form, accounting for 77.03% of the total. The fl oral geographical elements of the plants were mainly composed of temperate zone distribution type. By using two way indicator species analysis(TWINSPAN), the vegetation in 36 sampling plots could be classifi ed into 8 communities. The species diversity indexes of communities were relatively low, but had large differences among each other. According to the importance value, the Margalef richness index(Rm) ranged from 0 to 4.200. Simpson diversity index(D) was between 0 and 0.512; Shannon diversity index(H) ranged from 0 to 1.400, and Pielou evenness index(J) was within the range of 0.538 to 1.000. | 5 | Carboxylesterase genes in nitenpyram-resistant brown planthoppers,Nilaparvata lugens显示文摘Carboxylesterases(CarEs)represent one of the major detoxification enzyme families involved in insecticide resistance.However,the function of specific CarE genes in insecticide resistance is still unclear in the insect Nilaparvata lugens(Stål),a notorious rice crop pest in Asia.In this study,a total of 29 putative CarE genes in N.lugens were identified,and they were divided into seven clades;further,theβ-esterase clade was significantly expanded.Tissue-specific expression analysis found that 17 CarE genes were abundantly distributed in the midgut and fat body,while 12 CarE genes were highly expressed in the head.The expression of most CarE genes was significantly induced in response to the challenge of nitenpyram,triflumezopyrim,chlorpyrifos,isoprocarb and etofenprox.Among these,the expression levels of NlCarE2,NlCarE4,NlCarE9,NlCarE17 and NlCarE24 were increased by each insecticide.Real-time quantitative polymerase chain reaction and RNA interference assays revealed the NlCarE1 gene to be a candidate gene mainly involved in nitenpyram resistance,while simultaneously silencing NlCarE1 and NlCarE19 produced a stronger effect than silencing either one individually,suggesting a cooperative relationship in resistance formation.These findings lay the foundation for further clarification of insecticide resistance mediated by CarE in N.lugens. | Kaikai Mao Zhijie Ren Wenhao Li Tingwei Cai Xueying Qin Hu Wan Byung Rae Jin Shun He Jianhong Li | 2021 | Insect Science2021,28,4: | 0 |
| 6 | Two-dimensional perovskite capping layer for stable and efficient tin-lead perovskite solar cells显示文摘Mixed tin-lead iodide perovskites exhibit the characteristics of low toxicity and improved light harvesting ability up to nearinfrared(NIR) spectral region, making them as an attractive alternative for traditional lead based perovskites. However, the performance of lead-based perovskites solar cells is still far inferior to their lead analogues owing to the unavoidable oxidation of Sn^(2+)to Sn^(4+). Here we introduced two-dimensional(2D) perovskite on the top of three dimensional(3D) perovskite film as a capping layer to reduce the self-oxidation, and thus improved the device stability. 2D capping layer was then confirmed by X-ray diffraction(XRD) and X-ray photoelectron spectroscopy(XPS) analysis. The existence of the 2D protecting thin layer significantly reduce the spontaneous Sn^(2+)oxidation, thus improve the device performance and reduce the hysteresis. The phenomena could be ascribed to the improved charge extraction efficiency causing by prohibited nonradiative recombination. On top of this, the photovoltaic devices based on conventional-structure configuration were fabricated. Taking advantage of the 2D capping layer, 2D/3D hybrid perovskite photovoltaic devices achieve a open-circuit voltage(Voc) of 0.77 V with short circuit current density(Jsc) of 26.60 mA cm^(-2), delivering the best-performing power conversion efficiency of 15.5%. | 8 | Systemic antibiotics increase microbiota pathogenicity and oral bone loss显示文摘Periodontitis is the most widespread oral disease and is closely related to the oral microbiota.The oral microbiota is adversely affected by some pharmacologic treatments.Systemic antibiotics are widely used for infectious diseases but can lead to gut dysbiosis,causing negative effects on the human body.Whether systemic antibiotic-induced gut dysbiosis can affect the oral microbiota or even periodontitis has not yet been addressed.In this research,mice were exposed to drinking water containing a cocktail of four antibiotics to explore how systemic antibiotics affect microbiota pathogenicity and oral bone loss.The results demonstrated,for the first time,that gut dysbiosis caused by long-term use of antibiotics can disturb the oral microbiota and aggravate periodontitis.Moreover,the expression of cytokines related to Th17 was increased while transcription factors and cytokines related to Treg were decreased in the periodontal tissue.Fecal microbiota transplantation with normal mice feces restored the gut microbiota and barrier,decreased the pathogenicity of the oral microbiota,reversed the Th17/Treg imbalance in periodontal tissue,and alleviated alveolar bone loss.This study highlights the potential adverse effects of long-term systemic antibiotics-induced gut dysbiosis on the oral microbiota and periodontitis.A Th17/Treg imbalance might be related to this relationship.Importantly,these results reveal that the periodontal condition of patients should be assessed regularly when using systemic antibiotics in clinical practice. | Xulei Yuan Fuyuan Zhou He Wang Xinxin Xu Shihan Xu Chuangwei Zhang Yanan Zhang Miao Lu Yang Zhang Mengjiao Zhou Han Li Ximu Zhang Tingwei Zhang Jinlin Song | 2023 | International Journal of Oral Science2023,15,1: | 0 |
